Iweb not showing 'Gallery pages' on new Safari 5

I just updated my Safari on my imac to the new 5 version, and suddenly when I view my iweb sites... all pages are ok apart from the gallery pages which are blank! No gallery images show at all....
Anyone have any idea..i went to the mac store and it worked on the mac in store...
but not on both imacs I viewed it on before and after checking at apple shop!
Is it a bug in Safari..or do i need to update 'iweb' or dump safari!

HI.. in Firefox Galleries view fine..... but not Safari.
Which worries me as Safari is the official mac and iphone browser.
I have used iweb extensively over the last years, and tinkered with it a lot.
The galleries going missing really worry me..so i have bought a OS upgrade and iweb 4 now ....
but please view and let me know if the galleries work on two of my sites

when you click through to a designers range, you should see a gallery of at least 25 dresses!

Will not show web page on windows high contrast

Hi,
Am running Windows 7 64bit
my problem is as follows.
I normally run Windows in high contrast mode and would prefer all web sites to be on the dark side.
Occasionally I need to be able to see a web page as its designers intended it to be.
So I want to have the text white and background black and then the ability to toggle between that and the web page's own colour scheme.
Thought I'd found exactly what I needed in the add-on "Toggle Document Colors 1.0"
Am presuming it toggles the status of the "Allow pages to choose their own colours..." tick box.
This setting seems to get lost when FF closes. Even if I set the tick box myself and then close FF it is gone when I reopen FF.
If the box is ticked and a page refreshed it still does not show web page colours ?
Without any addons at all after a reset and only using the colours dialog I cannot get it to behave.
If you start in Windows white mode (normal) things are better even after FF close. Change to Windows black mode (high contrast) things start off ok then after you close FF it will not work
If there is a solution I would love to know it.
Will settle for a workaround.
Considered using old version of FF, but this is not really a good idea.
Really don't want to go back to IE

iTunes does not yet support Windows 8, so there may not be a fix until such time as Apple releases a version of iTunes that does support 8. You can search this forum for "windows 8", though, and perhaps you'll find a suggestion in one of the other threads on the issue.

Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

Not showing web pages

Firefox is not showing any page; all the content is in absolute white; the source code is the same. The Antivirus and the spyware is not detecting any issue in the machine. The others browsers are working normally. I tried to unnistall the software, reinstall, update and nothings solve the problem.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Iweb not showing published changes in safari

After making changes in iweb I publish them to a local folder and then use Cyberduck to publish them to the Rage server. The changes do not show up in Safari, yet they do using Firefox and Google Chrome. I have cleared the cache, cleared the history, rebooted numerous time and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and reload the page.

Safari does not show correct page

A friend of mine uses Safari, but it does not show the correct page. He tries to view http://www.ventanasalmar.biz. This is hosted as one of my 10 domains on my acount with a hosting company. He is for some reason redirected to my default account. When he uses Firefos from the same location, everything is OK. As I do not have the same program (Safari) myself, I cannot test. My friend is in the US, I am in Norway, so I cannot just pop over
Any suggestion about what could be wrong?

I tried on my Safari, and also on another browswer, Shiira.
Your site works great on both.
Your friend probably needs some housecleaning of his safari caches, etc.
Ask him to do these and try again:
1. Empty your cache & History settings via the Safari menu
2. Trash your Icons Folder:
HD>Users>Home>YourName>Library>Safari -->Icons
Restart Safari and a new folder will be automatically regenerated.
(This folder saves favicons of all the sites you visit. Needs cleaning periodically -- or you can change that file's preferences to "Read Only"
rather than "Read & Write." This will keep it from growing in size.)
3. Launch Font Book and check all fonts for duplicates. A duplicated font will have a bullet beside the font family and you can resolve duplicates by selecting the font and at the menu bar, go to Edit > Resolve Duplicates.
Do this for each font with a bullet next to it.
If he's still having problems:
4. Shut down your computer . . . unplug the computer, modem, and router, if you have one. Let everything sit for 2-3 minutes. Plug everything back in, start up your modem & router first, let the lights set up right, and then restart your computer.

Iweb web page not showing full page on the web

I have a web site that I build using iweb. I have installed intense debate for a commenting system. I have two problems. My comments are not showing up even after i approve them even though i chose to not monitor comments and when you view the page most of the comment box is missing. I have changed the height and width of the page, changed the height and width of the age layout in iweb, nothing seems to help. I have contacted there support team but they just keep saying the same things. Apparently i need to do this to get the commenting system working "looks like you don't have any JavaScript variables set. You'll need to set some postid's and URLs." That is copied directly from the email they sent me. I don't know what any of that means...And please don't say read the tutorial they offer because i cant fallow that either. Thumbnail on Provider Page not showing up for a new collection

Hello:
The new MacLearning collection: iTunes U Munich Conference http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=445693522 has a thumbnail when you go to the collection page. However, this collection is currently featured on Duke's Provider Page under the "What's New" section http://itunes.apple.com/us/institution/duke-university/id420416991 and the thumbnail is not showing up for that collection. How can we get that thumbnail to show up on our Provider Page? Why is it not showing up?

There are two more collections on our Duke University iTunes U page that have collection artwork that is not updating. Here are the examples.

Both of these collections have newly uploaded thumbnails (uploaded many months ago)---but those thumbnails aren't reflected on the Tag page that houses these collections. But, the thumbnails on the Tag page are the old thumbnails, not the newly uploaded ones. How can we make sure the newly uploaded thumbnails are refreshed and showing up?

IWeb not showing all my published Photo Galleries for Widget insertion

I have published a page created in iWeb to my mobileme account
Today I went to edit it and add a Widget - Mobile Me Gallery
It only shows 3 of the 4 galleries and of course the one I want to insert is the one not showing
All galleries are published with ability to see, load, download etc..
I have rebooted etc and its still the same.

IWeb NOT showing changes after publishing

I had 2 sites I created with iweb. I made some changes on one, but not only did it not show any changes after I published it but said there was an error. I could access the site when I entered my basic domain name, but not through iweb. I deleted BOTH sites and started from scratch. Saved my work and tried publishing at least 5 different times. It STILL shows my DELETED sites (which I can't even see on my computer because I DELETED THEM!). MobileMe account is current. Domain name current.
Anyone else having these issues? ANy idea what to do?

But did you delete your site folder from MobileMe too? It's all very well deleting your site from iWeb, but if you really want to delete it and start again, you also need to delete your site folder and index file from MobileMe. Log into MobileMe and then go to your iDisk and delete the files from there too and then re-publish from iWeb and your new pages should show.

HT1937 FaceTime is not showing up in my new iPhone 5s?

Hi. I have purchased a new iPhone 5s and I try to use FaceTime but the icon is not showing up.
When I purchase my iphon I asked the buyer if the FaceTime is available on it and he said FaceTime work fine with it.
I have try many times to use and set up FaceTime account.
I live in Saudi Arabia and I use FaceTime on my old iPhone 5.
All cellular companies support FaceTime .
Please give me the solution as soon as possible.

Did you check the webpage of your carrier? On the bottom of the page it says:

Firefox does not show web page graphics or icons, mostly blanks or boxes with type.

With one of the recent updates, Firefox shows web pages without the clickable graphics, such as this page (Ask a New Question) where above the details box, there are only two vertical lines. I know there should be something in those spaces, cause when I click in them something happens - like a dialogue box pops up or a word gets inserted into this typing. This is consistent on all web pages. Major photos show, just not the little graphics. Icons or graphics that are visible sometimes are offset (ex: this page has an arrow in a green box over lapping the outline of the Search Firefox Help box). Other than that, this page has only two other graphics, it's all type. Thanks.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Flash button not showing on page

just new to flash cs3, but have been using dream weaver cs3
for a while now, I am trying to add a flash button to a page its

IE 5.2.3 Mac not showing DW pages

Am using Dreamweaver MX on my portable Powerbook. I've used
the same MX on my desktop iMac and no problems. When I ask it to
show the page in IE, IE opens but there is nothing put in the
address rectangle. it just sits there.
What am I missing here?

This works in both Tiger (Safari 3 required) and Leopard {Not sure about Panther 10.3}. This tip tells you how to change the "User Agent" so that the website you visit believes you are not using Safari. The reason why it is useful is because some websites check to see if you are running Internet Explorer and will block you if you are not.
