Iweb problem/idisk problem

hey guys,
sorry to be a pain but i have trawled through forums and tried to fix this in every which way but it continues to frustrate me beyond belief.
Currently my iweb DOESN'T sync. photos which i have had up n my site for the last 6 months iweb now has errors and can't publish these random images. I don't want to delete these as i was sure i could get around it some how. After checking the forums i published to a folder then copied these files into my idisk and synced it. So now in my idisk on my desktop has the NEW version of my website in it. I have synced this idisk many times yet whenever i go into safari and visit my page there has been no change. despit the fact the new page files are in the idisk itself. I would preferably love to do all my syncing through iweb itself. so it would be great if someone could help me with that. otherwise my idisk problem would be great. I'm going to ring apple tech support tomorrow but i thought someone here might be able to help me with my issue.

Then it's your ISP giving you the "stale" page. Try this:
add a ? (question mark) at the very end of the URL.
apple.com becomes apple.com?

Caveman with club defeats ALL .mac and idisk problems!

Well, I'm pretty proud of myself. Like many others after upgrading to Leopard, had myriad .mac and idisk problems including, but not limited to: couldn't mount idisk on desktop, can't enable syncing of .mac on various computers, couldn't register a computer. I tried the log out, log in option in .mac. Also tried removing the syncservices folder from Home>Library>Application Support folder. I also tried reinstalling the system from a download of 10.5.1 udpate, repairing permissions, and every other trick I read about on the discussion forum. The ultimate solution for me? Open Keychain Access application in the Application>Utilities folder, show all the items and delete every item with '.mac' in it! Restarted computer, now idisk mounts fine, login to .mac works fine, and syncing works perfectly and I can register the previously unregisterable computer. While I have no logical explanation for this, because I don't understand enough about the Keychains to say why it worked, it clearly fixed the problem. Syncing has happened fine, using idisk is fine and all is well! Oh yes, I had a backup of my computer to an external drive before proceeding with my various interventions. Best of luck and don't be afraid to swing your caveman club wildly in the dark... you just might hit something worthwhile

I'm having exactly ONE of the problems Joshua lists here ... my iDisk will not mount to my desktop. All else works fine with my iDisk.

This is a scam. Do not phone these people, at best they will charge you for unnecessary 'cleaning' and at worst they will gain access to your Mac and steal your data. You've probably managed to install some 'adware' which is producing this fake warning. 'Adwaremedic' should remove it and is safe to use - please see

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with a Windows operating system file there.

First thing to try is the latest version of Lightroom (currently 5.6). If it don't crash, then problem solved - upgrade.
If Lr5 won't run on your machine, then Lr4 instead.
If both Lr5 and Lr4 crash on your machine, then at least you know it's a not a Lightroom version problem but something wonked in your system.
If you can't figure out how to resolve the crash on the system you have, then it's time for a new system (or try another converter/editor app).
PS - A few things to try:
* After re-installing new version, if that doesn't fix it, then get rid of all Lightroom-related data files (rename them so they can be restored), in case problem is in Lr data file.
* Remove all non-essential hardware in case problem is hardware/driver.
* Startup up machine with minimal software services.
* If still no go, consider updating driver software, including mainboard drivers and/or bios firmware if need be.
* Of course run all the system hardware and software diagnostics you can - problem could be failing disk or ram..
* Check system event logs for any clues.
If you don't know how to do some of these things - ask.
Do not say "you've tried everything" unless you want a lecture - there is most definitely something you haven't tried. It's like when you can't find your car keys - you haven't looked everywhere - there is somewhere you haven't looked!
PS - Has Lightroom EVER worked on your machine? what's changed since then..

Does this happen with any particular file or all files?
Since the crash report above mentions accessibility.api, so are you working on any related function like adding tags etc. when Acrobat crashes?
Disable all the 3rd party services working in the background and check.

Even if you don't have any third-party plug-ins or add-ons, try opening iTunes in safe mode as per the instructions in the following document:
iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-ins
If iTunes opens in safe mode, quit iTunes and then try launching it again normally. Does it launch without the error messages this time?
