IWork '09 Installation Never Completes

I am trying to install iWork 09 on a iMac G5, 2Gb of ram, running OSX 10.4.11.
The installation runs fine and almost completes, but hangs on Running iWork '09 Installer script.
Tried trashing iWork folder, preferences files in user home directory and library folders.
Along with trashing Pages.pkg & Keynote 2.pkg in the library Receipts folder. After restart hangs at same spot again.
Any help is appreciated.

Try deleting this file. com.apple.installer.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac. See if you can install iWork now.
How much free drive space is there? Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop, then click: Get Info. In the Get Info window, click the discovery triangle so it's facing down. You will see; Capacity and Available Make sure you have 10% available disk space, 15% is better. Not enough available drive space can cause issues like you are experiencing.

And the installation never completes, I have made many tests, leaving installation in many ranges of time, from 5 minutes to 8 hours and never complete, the version I am installed is OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1.

SL Installer Never Completes

Somebody, PLEASE help me with this one i am completely lost and i really need help, whenever i try to install something onto my mac, installer just stays like this forever:
i cannot have installer go like this forever, and i can't use any other installer app for macs because honestly i find that none of them work as quick and easily as installer does, so somebody please help with this it would be much appreciated.

Check your Mac for available disk space to install software to.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. *Make sure you always have a minimum of 10% to 15% free disk space at all times.*
If available disk space is not the issue, then boot from Mac install disk and run Disk Utiity to verify and repair any errors.
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
*(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)*
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
Make sure the S.M.A.R.T. status says: Verified. If it doesn't, then it's possible the drive is failing.

Installation Never Completed, 120' of Cable on Ground Accross Yard

I had Comcast service installed on June 5, 2015; however and as a result of the installation, I have approximately 120' of cable still laying on the ground across my yard which should have been buried at the time of installation. I have called a multitude of times in an attempt to get Comcast to bury their cable and still nothing has been done. It has been nearly six weeks since they ran the cable across the yard. How do I elevate this to someone that can get it done?

I can't get install OS X Mavericks on my MaCbook AIR. During the stage " installing OS X on Machintosh HD..", the computer keeps resseting successivelly and the installation never completes. What the solution for the installation to finish successfully?

OS X install

When you download Mavericks to the USB drive it's not going to allow you to run the Mavericks installer. You need to buy an external drive then install Mavericks on the drive. You can then boot from the drive to recover your data and install a working OS X on the internal drive.
Recommended Drives
USB 3.0 drives work on USB 2.0 but you do get 2.0 speed. They are cheaper because they are popular PC drives. If you get a new computer you'll get the bump to 3.0 speed. I don’t recommend FW. The newer computers don’t have FW ports. You would need a connector in order to use the drive on a newer computer.
Size: I recommend either the 2T or 3T drives. Often they are cheaper than a 1T drive. The 4T drives have more issues and failure rates.
The Seagate USB 3.0 Backup plus drives come formatted for PC but easy to format in Disk Utility.

Check the warranty when comparing. The longer the warranty the better the drive. WD makes cheaper drives but with almost no warranty.
Locally, Best Buy seems to have the best prices.
You can get one drive for both Time Machine and clone, but it’s recommended that you use different drives for each. If the drive dies you lose both types of backup.

Captivate 8 Installer Win 8 never completes initializing

I've upgraded to a new computer with Windows 8. I've downloaded Captivate 8 and allowed the packages to create the installation directory. I am using a SSD boot drive, and I am installing applications on a secondary drive. I'm following the instructions in the ReadMe document. When I run the Set-up application as Administrator, the installer never completed initializing, but "disappears". If I try to run the installer again, I get a message that the Adobe Installer is already running. I see the Adobe Application Manager running in the background, but I'm stuck.
I've double-checked the hardware requirements, and everything is good. Is there something simple I'm missing? Thanks for any help in advance!

Here's the final update on this, again in case someone runs into something similar.
The issue wasn't with installing Captivate on a secondary drive. I had another secondary drive that was causing the huge lag. After fixing the problem with that one, Captivate installed like a champ.
Use the Task Manager > Performance tab to identify hardware that may be causing issues.
Fix any hardware issues.
Try to install Captivate again.

XMAM sync never completes

I have installed xMAM 3.0 (SR4 Patch 0) on a machine and when I click sync 9 out of 10 times sync never completes.
Our MI server is MI7.0 SP12 patch0.
Below is the trace file.Can some one point out what may be wrong please? How can I debug this in the middleware?

you need to find mobileID for your installation and go to monitor - that will give you more details on what is happening with sync process.

I want to uninstall iWork '09 trial version completely. I deleted the folders, but there's something left with Mackeeper. Do I have to finish that Mackeeper thing?

Thanks to cor-el for the suggestion given in the link. Sadly I have to report:
1) It is not a bookmark problem and it makes no difference whether I put
www.adobe.com or 192.150.18.117 in the address bar.
2) Cookies are allowed and there are no exceptions set
3) All cookies have been deleted
4) network.http.sendRefererHeader is already set to 2
That deals with the items in the linked document.
Additional information:
5) I can get into the adobe site from a clean "in memory" installation of PuppyLinux using Seamonkey using the same router and dhcp setup.
6) un-installing all Mozilla products - rebooting and re-installing makes no difference even when I remove the mozilla folder from docs&settings.
so as I said in previous post (as annonymous) not a lot makes sense.

Install never completes

os x Yosemite installs but after reboot it tries to do do final steps for install and never completes. I did a Command S to reinstall O/S. System will come up but after a reboot it hangs and never completes the reboot.

I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides.

I am able to load some pages from a particular website while other pages from the same site give the error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

Hi, hopefully someone here can help!
I have recently had an issue with my iPod touch and iTunes 12.0.1.26. It has been a bit of a pain to sync ever since that update that screwed up other people's iThings but I hadn't had a problem in a few months. Now whenever I try to sync it will take a long time and never complete, always getting hung up on the last step before anything is transferred. If I unplug or cancel I get an error box that says the iPod couldn't be recognised and the sync failed to start even though it would get through to that last bit after backing itself up. After each failed attempt the Other data section becomes bigger until I get another error saying that there is not enough space on my iPod for everything, sometimes it is over capacity by 10GB. Every time this happens I end up with less and less music on my iPod until I get incomplete playlists and entire albums wiped off. After this the only solution seems to be a factory reset and restore from backup, which I have done twice already this week.
My phone will sync with no issues so I am not sure if it is a software or hardware problem. Its winding me up, anyone have any ideas? I have already removed and reinstalled iTunes and have done a reset on the iPod.
