IWow plug in for iTunes, problem

Wondering can anybody help me out. I downloaded the SRS iWow plug in for iTunes. The demo expired, and now the registration window pops up when i start up iTunes. If i hit the cancel button it still just hangs there. And with the window popped up i cant use iTunes. I have to force quit and try again. How do i get rid of this?

Doubleclick on the 'SRSiWOW.dmg' file to mount it.
When it opens, run the 'Uninstall' script.
This script should remove all traces of iWow.

SHN plug-in for iTunes

Has anyone ever seen a .shn plug-in for iTunes? A lot of good live concerts are available in this format - its a bummer than Apples doesn't support it on iTunes.

Yeah, there is a lot of Dead stuff in SHN. iTunes does not support it. There might be a plugin which lets you play the files in iTunes, but that does not help the iPod. Personally, I would use Switch to convert the SHN files to MP3 or AAC.

Xcelsius plug-in for Sharepoint problem

Gallery after installing. Sharepoint has not references

My observation is that the plug-in is not designed for
v3 of Sharepoint (WSS) services. It looks like a v2
(WSS) install.
The install script did indicate that it was successful,
however the WPPACK***.log did have the following
message:

I met this problem last week. I also use WSS 3.0. After investigation I find that I need to add that web part using STSADM.EXE (stsadm.exe u2013o u2013addwppack u2013filename -url). Before this you need to find where this web pack is located. In my case, this web part is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\WPPackager\{1a1222e8-6985-4f29-985d-fa5103a53f88}\CrystalXcelsius.WebParts.Container_Business Objects.cab. My OS is Windows Sever 2003 64bit. You can have a try.

Service Pack for iTunes problems?

Does anyone know more about the $49 service pack Apple supposedly has for fixing iTunes 5+ install problems? Is it specific to iTunes, or is it an overall service pack for all known software issues? I am quite confused now by all of the fixes floating around in this discussion (although grateful for the fine assistance of various people) because I can't afford to lose any more functionality on my PC than I already have.
If a service pack does exist, shouldn't Apple provide this for free?
Too bad there isn't a computer products safety commission (like the Consumer Products Safety Commission). If there were, Apple would have to do a recall of this defective product that has harmed a lot of PCs.

Apple is not selling any sort of "service pack". Any charge you may get is for providing the technical support itself (support calls are not free unless you have a Mac that's either less than 90 days old or is under AppleCare), not for providing any patches. iTunes 5.01 has been released and is the only "patch" that I know of for iTunes 5, so if you're having problems with iTunes 5.0, try 5.01.

How to Install Visualizer Plug-ins for Itunes 11.01

I have Itunes 11.01 running on my mac 10.7.5.
And I been trying to figure out how to install some new visualizers. I've placed the files in the Library/Composition folder and it did nothing.
I've placed the files in the Library/itunes/plug-in folder and this did nothing.
I've even placed the files in the Music/itunes/Itunes media/Automatically Add to iTunes folder and this has gotten me nowhere.
Now how the **** do i get these files to work?

To add to Mylenium's reply, here's how to do it on Windows and this is what microsoft website says:
Why do I have to be an administrator to install a program?
Only administrators can make changes that will affect everyone who uses the computer, such as installing software and hardware and changing security settings.
If the program you are trying to install or run says you must have administrator rights, but you are already an administrator on the computer, right-click the installation icon for the program, and then click Run as administrator. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
If the program installs but does not run, right-click the program icon, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as an administrator check box, and then try to run the program.

Plug-ins for iTunes

Does anyone know of an app/itunes plug in which lets you arrange your iPhone icons on your mac as opposed to dragging them on the phone? I know it can be done on the phone, its just it might be less fiddly on your desk top.

Haven't seen one yet.
BTW, there is some new functionality with iphone OS 3.0. With iPhone OS 3.0, drag the application you want to move to the right or left corner of the page, and hold it there. The pages will keep flipping. When you've arrived to the page you want to add the app to, just move the app away from the corner.

Is there a reverb plug-in for itunes?

I use headphones at work for music & podcasts, and the direct sound right on my ears can be a little grating after so many hours. I'm hoping a little reverb will give my ears some rest.

Removing iWOW plug-in

Help! I downloaded the demo of the iWOW plug-in for iTunes, but I don't know how to remove it. While great, I don't listen to music on my laptop that often so it's not worth the $$.
I have looked in the "iTunes Plug ins" folder which appears to be empty. Any help>

The SRSiWOW.dmg file also contains an uninstaller.
If you trashed that file, you can download the .dmg here and run the 'Uninstall' script.

Weird MSN-iTunes Problem

So, today, when I started up an iTunes song, a message popped up saying "Windows Live Messenger has had an error and needs to close." I exit iTunes, and I get a message saying "one or more applications is using iTunes scripting interface, quit or don't quit". I then open both programs back up, play a song in iTunes, and I get the same result. Restarted computer, same results. Then I went to a site I frequented and asked for help on the problem, and someone told me to uncheck the "Show songs I'm listening to" setting, and I did. Everything magically works again. So, the problem itself has been resolved. But my question to you folks here is, why now? I've had my current version of MSN and iTunes for months now, with this setting checked and no problems. Is there anything I can do to make it so I can use that setting again?

Download the Windows Live Messenger plug-in for itunes again?
If that still doesn't work, try a repair install of itunes.
Since messenger is giving the error, I think it's the one that needs attention.

Developing for iTunes/iPod

I don't know if this is the right message board to ask this, but does anybody know if iTunes and/or the iPod is open to third party software development? For instance, can you write plug-ins for iTunes or write programs that will run on the iPod?

Both are very limited in the plugins department.
iTunes has a plugin archetechture, but it's made mainly for visualizers.

I'm looking for a plug-in for iTunes that will add a little player to the finder menu so I will be able to press stop, play, next etc... via the finder menu and won't have to go to iTunes...

Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.
