I upgraded from iWS 4.1 SP7 to 6.0 back in August. After some
migration problems with config files were resolved, everything was up
and running. No changes were made to the ACL or server.xml files to
get everything running. Because of the migration problems, however,
we went back to iWS 4.1 and waited for the SP1 release.
I just went through the SP1 migration and everything is up and running
except the none of my images are showing up on the HTML pages being
served. For every "GET" of an image file I'm seeing an error in the
error log the says ...(no access rights). Has something changed in
SP1 that requires ACL type changes ?Can you show us an example of the error? What about the request/response
(what's being sent back to the browser)?

Error message: "This document contains photoshop data which appears to be damaged."
I saved the file I was working on by choosing "Save" from the "File" menu. Unfortunately after 10 min as I saved my work my PC had "issues" and needed to be manually shut off. I was trying to open the psd file after restarting my computer and I get this error message: "This document contains photoshop data which appears to be damaged. Continue and ignore the photoshop data?" I clicked okay and then I get just a black screen. No Layers or any pictures.
I have tried to preview in Graphic Converter, in Illustrator, in ACDSee, etc... Nothing... I just get a black screen. Also, I have tried file recovery programs: Stellar Phoenix PSD Repair V1.0 and Advanced PSD Repair v1.4
The program Stellar Phoenix PSD Repair V1.0 was able to recover only BMP picture 3.4 KB, it is so tiny that you can't see anything on the picture.
I also have tried to install plugin "psdrecover", for Adobe Photoshop. Unsuccessfully for some reason. The plugin does not want to be installed into the "plugins" folder. I did follow the instructions.
I am using Photoshop 6 version and Windows 7 operating System.
I am in dire need of help. I've been working on it for days. Is there any way to recover that file back?I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're likely out of luck. We almost never hear of anyone recovering image data from a damaged PSD.
Some thoughts:
1. Set up backups.
2. Get in the habit of saving your master file in several different locations as you work on it.
3. Consider upgrading to Photoshop CS6, which auto-saves your work in the background. I'm not sure whether it would have recovered the data in your particular case, but it's possible.
4. Don't feel bad - go back and do the image again, and I'll bet it comes out even better in less time.

Error when creating table (Document contains no data)
Hi,
I've installed htmldb 2.0 and after playing with it for a while, everything seems to be ok, except
for table creation. No matter I use the sql command console or the object creation wizard, the
situation is the same: i can arrive until the last confirmation page, and after submitting the browser
complains about a page with no data (Document contains no data).
I can create other things, such as views, functions, sequences, even applications. Is just table the one giving problems. Can somebody tell me where are the relevant logs, in order to trace better the situation? Or, if you have any other suggestion (maybe I missed something during the installation, or things like that).
Thanks in advance.

dario estepario ...Sure, this is part of the weird thing: nothing is displayed when this error happens. However, yesterday, a friend of mine made the same test (with another browser) and I saw some messages like this ones on the error_log*:
[Tue Nov 22 15:12:01 2005] [error] [client 201.138.102.50] [ecid: 1132693921:192.168.1.1:24300:0:155,0] mod_plsql: /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept HTTP-500 Error Reading Data from Client!!
At least, they are a http-500 errors ... while in my case, I can not receive any answer at all.
But this was yesterday, today ... every time I reproduce the situation, the error_log does not move.
Regards,
PS: Another point: I can create the table importing data. -

F.13 Clearing Documents contain no data
Hi,
I have carried out F.13 transaction to clear some customer accounts.
However, the system displays that it has created a few clearing documents in the output.
But when i see the document postings, i see no data in the documents. It says List is empty.
Can anyone please clarify why the sysem is posting the null documents with the document numbers.
Thanks,
srikanth.Dear,
Yes, It may wonder you when you display the cleared document and it has no line items generated because balance of both the item is zero...
For example.....
Debit entry in customer is Rs 1000 and it cleared by a creadit entry in the same customer of Rs 1000 so system will not generate any line item while clearing because both are knocked off...
Do not worry, nothing has gone wrong....its correct behaviour of the standard system..

OT: The Document Contains No Data
anybody getting this when trying to access the discussions?
hate to post off topic, but there is no way to communicate with anyone at Apple to troubleshoot the issue.
also others experiencing interminable waits with broadband to load a page?yeah, i have been getting this off and on. I just have to come back later and read or reply. it just happened to me half an hour ago.
sometimes the pages just don't load.
you can't expect much out of apple these days, they are just too occupied with getting ipods out for Christmas. -
"This document contains Adobe photoshop data which appears to be damaged.
"This document contains Adobe photoshop data which appears to be damaged. Continue and ignore the photoshop data?" --- I am getting this message when im trying to open a photoshop file which I have worked last couple of days and when I say “OK” I’m just getting a blank black background screen and nothing on it.. but the file size remains 10mb... Please help me to recover my designs..!!! pls..
Did you try opening a flattened version of the file? Press and hold down Opt + Shift (Mac) or Alt + Shift (Win) as you open the file. See if you're able to at least recover a flattened copy of the file that you can save as a JPG.
If not, I'm sorry to break this - you may be out of luck. There are lot of PSD repair programs - but they hardly work to recover all of lost data.
This error message is very rare and is usually caused due to a bad sector on drive, improper eject of USB (if your file was once stored there) or a hard drive that is about to conk. This is one of the reasons you should keep 'Backing up' - make it a process!
Btw, are you on Windows/ Mac OS?
Good luck.

Document Contains Errors - Approval not possible
Hi,
We are having issue in our Invoice Workflow.
When ever the approver is trying to approve the document, he is getting the error message "Document Contains Errors -> Approval not possible".
We have verified the document and check for error messages and found the below error messages on the Document.
E BBP_PD 047 Posting period 006 2011 is not open.
The document was submitted some time in the first week of December and as part of AP process the posting period will be closed during the first week of every month. This is a common business case and why is it stopping from posting the doc?
FYI..this Invoice is posted against the WBS element.
Pls give some insight on this and how to address the issue.
Regards,
SatyaHi,
The posting date in the invoice is referring to the past period which is closed.You will have to change the invoice posting date to current period date and then process.

Doc type AB - List contains no Data
Hi SAP team,
I am facing an issue that I could not find a similar one in here.
When FB03 is displayed, no items are shown. It shows, however, List Contains no Data.
In the Header option, I can view that the documents were entered by a Batch ID under t_code FBS1
Document Header Text says: Autom. Clearing SAPF124
Document Status B
Can anyone shed any light as to why FB03 has nothing (this has been happening for many years) and what is the meaning of Doc Status B ?
This is not a layout issue as many threads have mentioned. This must be something else that the Batch ID is running.
Any help is welcome
Regards
RogerThank you for your valuable input.
One topic only needs clarification.
Any idea of what Document Status A and Status B means?
(you can see this A B status in the header icon - FB03)
Regards,
Rogerio -
'This document contains a link to an asset being upscaled'
When opening two separate Muse sites I have received the warning message, 'This document contains a link to an asset being upscaled. You should resize it smaller, or relink to a larger asset using the Assets panel'. However, none of the assets that the site links to have been amended.
Does anyone know why this might be?
Thanks.I believe the warning you're referring to is "This document contains a link to an asset being upsampled."
Upsampling refers to the fact the image has been resized to a size larger than it's original pixel dimensions. For example a 72x72 pixel square image may have been placed then resized to 100x100. Such an image will be exported by Muse, but it will not have an optimal appearance in the browser due to being larger than it's original dimensions. (It's been "upsampled.")
In general you want to have all the images in your site be the same size or smaller than the original placed/imported image data in order to avoid upsampling. Slight upsampling can result in an image that looks dull or slightly blurred, depending on the browser being used. A large amount of upsampling will result in an image that appears pixelated in the browser.
This message is a warning. Whether or not the result of the upsampling is acceptable is a judgement call only you can make.
The Assets panel displays an icon next to any image that's being upsampled.
One other case where this will be reported is for any image that is larger the 2048 pixels in width or height. Muse initially limits image data to a 2048 maximum in either dimension. If you have an image that is larger than 2048, you need to select it in the Assets panel, right click and choose "Import Larger Size" from the context menu. This will pull in the additional image data for whatever size the image is in Muse and thus avoid any upsampling. -
Spool Request contains disrelated data
Dear All
I met a strange issue, the spool reqeust contains disrelated data.
the phenomenon is:
I created a JOB with function fronted. But when the JOB finished, I found other disrelated data in this spool request.
I'm not sure whether one spool request can contain several print requests?
When I create the request at the same time other function create in this spool request?By default, SAP merges forms in existing spool requests with same properties, listed here: [Note 85318 appending documents to existing spool requests|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/85318]. You may force them to go in a new spool request using output parameters when printing the form (see the note).

Hello,
We have an application, which should work for both English and Japanese languages. We are using MVC pattern, where the data coming from the browser is stored in a bean and is saved into the database using a separate persistence manager (PM) class. When multiple records are retrieved from the database, we are using XML to return the results from PM class to the controller. This works fine if the records contain only the English data. When we are trying to return the records containing Japanese data, we get an exception 'Illegal XML character' while parsing the string. Can somebody tell, which encoding should be used in XML, to make it work? We are using some other parsers as against the ones available in WebLogic. We don't know how to override the WL XML settings. Could the problem be because of that?
Kindly answer ASAP, since the project is getting delayed.
Thanking in anticipation...
-MedhaHi Medha,
OK, if you are writing to a file you have to specify the encoding as
well, e.g.
File f = new File(sFileName);
FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream(f);
Writer w = new OutputStreamWriter(fos, "UTF8");
w.write(s);
w.close();
fos.close();
I was thinking that you are reading from a file. Is that correct? What
I'm doing is parsing XML Files containing simplified Chinese and Thai
characters. I store them in a UTF-8 encoded XML File. I read this as
described in my first posting. I'm using a new version of the xerces dom
parser, but I suppose that should not make a difference.
Could you post the stacktrace? And maybe a short example xml file in
UTF-8 encoding? I could try if my parser setup works with it.

Subject: Re: XML containing Japanese data
Hi,
We tried JISAutoDetect, UTF-8, UTF-16, ISO-2022-JP and various JIS***
encodings in XML file.
We are using following code to parse the XML string
File filePointer=new File("/","test.xml");
FileWriter fileWriter=new FileWriter(filePointer);
fileWriter.write(xmlString);
fileWriter.close();
factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
document = builder.parse(filePointer);
We are using SAX parser version 1.0 from SUN. We are using jaxp.jar
and parser.jar files. They are located in the classpath before weblogic
stuff.
Hope you can suggest some solution.
Thanks,
Medha
Daniel Hoppe <[email protected]> wrote:
Hi Medha,
some questions in order to help:
- which encoding are you currently using?
- Did you specify the encoding in your XML file (e.g. <?xml
version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>)?
- Are you reading the file from which you are building the strings
correctly (specify the encoding as well?)
e.g.:
InputStream is = new FileInputStream(sFileName);
InputStreamReader isr = new InputStreamReader(is,"UTF8");
Reader in = new BufferedReader(isr);
- which parser are you using and where in the classpath is it located
(especially before or behind the weblogic stuff including servicepacks)

Repository A2 is already used for document area DATAARCH (Data Archiving].
Dear ALL,
Actually I am getting probelem Photo configuration in back end.
I am using Transaction SM31 maitaining the table TOAAR_C, here I am getting probelem 'Content Repository Identification' (A2), here i am getting below error.
Repository A2 is already used for document area DATAARCH (Data Archiving].
Please look in to issue.
Regards,
venkatJürgen - your answer was very helpful and I'm sure I'm now in the right direction!
However I still have an issue:
When the write job is finished and before deleting and storage, the archive file is not accessible - and then I am not able to continue with deletion and storage.
An example:
Filename: RMM_EKKO11180104855_CLL
Logical path: ARCHIVE_GLOBAL_PATH_WITH_ARCHIVE_LINK
Physical file name: E:SAPContRepZ5RMM_EKKO11180104855_CLL
E:SAPContRepZ5 is the root of the content repository and should according to the documentation contain the file during the delete phase and until final storage in the repository. But there is no file there.
In the log of the write job there are the following entries:
Job started
Step 001 started (program RM06EW70, variant Z_DEMO_7, user ID CLL)
Reading purchasing documents
Archiving session 000913 is being created
Path:
Name for new archive file: RMM_EKKO11180104855_CLL
1 of 1 purchasing documents processed
Job finished
I am a little concern about that no path is written to the job log - could maybe mean something.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Claus.
