J'ai transformé des fichiers video en MP4 mais lorsque je veux sélectionner sur itunes mes fichiers je ne les vois. Je ne peux donc les voir sur mon téléviseur.
Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?

Now it's worse, The install process didn't even translated %HTTPPORT% in 8081.
And "C:\ORACLE\APP\ORACLE\ORADATA\XE" is still empty, as is "C:\ORACLE\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\dbs"
I tried once more, with 'Compatibility Setting', not better...

I thought the iPad 2 could play almost any format.Must conform to these specs:

I will never know if the problem was one of transfer or format compatibility. The movie would not copy from one external hard diask to another, both attached to my MAC. But when the movie (which was in mpg by the way) was downloaded directly (without any other intermediary) into my external disk from the computer (a PC) where the movie was originated, the file did copy. And when I attached that external hard disk to my MAC, i could see it using the MPEC streamclip app.

ITunes Videos and mp4 capable player
Hi there,
as we all know we cannot burn playable dvd's for normal players. Now I've seen for instance Philips come out with a portable player that can play mp4 . Now does this mean that it could play a DVD that has iTunes mp4 files on it?
I'm trying to figure out if it would make sense to spend the extra money to get this more expensive model, but so far haven't found an answer to my question.

SabineIf the videos are purchased from the iTMS, they are protected MP4 and the Philips player will not play them.
Only iTunes or the iPod will play iTMS purchased songs/videos.
MP4 can be protected or unprotected. -

There are 3rd party utilities available that "rip" content into a compatible format - most include an iPod and/or iPhone format selection. If a video plays in iTunes, iTunes includes an option to convert a selection for iPod/iPhone. -

i converted my videos to mp4 but itunes still refuses to let it work and shows a winow that says "....... (item) an not be copied to itunes because it can not work on your ipad" although mp4 files are supposed to work on my ipad. i tranfered all music and pictures to itunes but i can't transefer my videos. What should i do?
Since I am impatient and can't wait for 90 minutes for an answer, I have decided to lose everything on my iPod and try to remember all the songs I had on them. But if anyone can help me prevent this in the future, that woud be great!

Problems exporting and playback the MPEG2-DVD videos, from .MP4 file!
I have PremiereProCS4 v.4.2.1 installed on this PC:
OS:WindowsXPProx64Bit; CPU:IntelCore2Quad Q9650; RAM:4GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Kingston; HDD:3x500GB WestrnDigital Caviar Green; VGA: Sparkle GeForce 9400GT 512MB.
I have downloaded an AVCHD file .MTS 1920x1080p 25p, made by Canon HF100 AVCHD camcorder, from this source (.rar file):

The videos in question called: "25pf_1.25_f1.8.MTS" playback and export from Premiere as MPEG2-DVD very well.
I playbacked it on Premiere on the second Monitor as "OutputDevice". All Ok.
I playbacked also the DVD made with EncoreCS4, on the external DVD set-top-box-player. All OK.
I downloaded also another clip 1080p 25p, converted as .mp4, from the same author, imported then in Premiere with Preset "XDCAM EX 1080p 25p" (470MB) :

No problems with playback.
Exported as MPEG2-DVD PAL "Lower Field First".
Opened in NeroShowTime Player: the video have a serious interruptions of the playback, some moments plays back-and-forward, and it isn't fluid at all!
I tried to create a DVD with EncoreCS4 and played it with DVD Player set-top-box, and the result is bad, and is the same as the playback on my PC with NeroShowTime Player. It present the back-and-forwars interruptions.
I tried also to create an AVCHD Project 1080p 25p and import the .MP4 file, but the problem persists !
After exporting them, and played-back on NeroShowTime and on Set-Top-Box Player, the video have strange behavior, and plays back-and-forward!
1) What Preset in Premiere should I use to editing, for this .MP4 file format, (filmed with Canon HF100 AVCHD and converted from original .MTS format to .MP4 format)?
2) Is this a transcoding problem?
3) Is this an exporting MPEG2-DVD PAL field-order issue?

But about JVC GY-HM100 Professional:
I know this model very well!
It records to .MP4 XDCAM_EX at the same manner of Professionals Sony Camcorder such this: Sony XDCAM_EX model "PMW-EX1" price €6.478,80.
This JVC GY-HM100 camcorder is not tha same as Consumer JVC camcorders.
It doesn't record MOD or TOD files.
It records .MP4 files editables in Premiere with XDCAM_EX "Preset"!

I have a JVC GY-HM100U and when I try to get the video files (MP4 format) off of the the SD card I get the error message OSStatus error -12909...any thoughts?
To be more precise: You MUST shoot in mov. Then drag the Clip bins from the card to you hard drive. Then drag the clips to FCP timeline and FCP asks you if you want to change to the right codec and of course you say YES. Now you can start editing. Can not be more simple. This camera was specially designed for use with FCP.

HT4072 can't play video files (mp4, avi, mkv) with 5.1 audio tracks
I have two Macs, one with a mini-optical out and no audio through its mini-displayport, and the other that supports digital audio out through its mini-displayport. On either of my Macs, how can I play video files (mp4, avi, mkv) in 5.1 using Quicktime or iTunes or VLC? I've heard I need Perian. Is this true? If so, how do I configure it on either machine?
Note that when I connect the computer that supports audio through the mini-displayport to my receiver, my home theater receiver detects a PCM audio connection, but the audio I get out of my speakers is still stereo.
Both computers are running Snow Leopard. I haven't had the need to upgrade to Lion yet, but if the answer is that I need Lion do do this, I'd spend the $29.

that's because now mplayer they switch to libavformat demuxer for mkv and ogg and i think is a bug in smplayer because is making some configuration for files in file_settings in which is sets demuxer & co. this switch is confusing smplayer and it should be reported upstream
p.s if you actually select demuxer from smplayer to mkv it would work perfectly
