  • Theme editor doesn't show - DesignManager must not be null error

    Hi,
I'm experiencing problem with Theme Editor & default portal themes. Problem was probably started by importing custom themes from older version of portal (current configuration is NW2004 SPS19, Java stack). After entering System Administration / Portal Display, theme editor doesn't show up and defaulttrace contains following error:

I've tried many things - delete custom themes (at first from Theme Archive, then from themes Integrity browser (...irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.themes.integrity.browse) and finally I've found traces in the filesystem (I think it was .../irj/root/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata/themes/customer)). So there should be no trace of custom themes in the system (as suggested in thread Theme Editor no showing content.), but the problem remains.
And there's more I found. We have 2 same systems installed on one server (both have own Oracle database+NW 2004 SPS19). The other portal works fine and without any problems, even with the same themes imported - it didn't create any error so I wonder if the problem doesn't lie somewhere else.
One more thing I noticed, which is different among these two portals, is the bahaviour of default themes - when I start ...irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.themes.integrity.browse on both portals, the one which works, has also its and portal subnodes under every theme from SAP. On the other portal, only one theme shows all - the sap_chrome. Other themes contain only ur subnode. I've tried to compare filesystems of both portals (but only directries which I found through search for "sap_tradeshow"), but I haven't noticed any differences. What else could be different?
I tried many things, but without any effect. Could anyone help me, please? I'm running out of ideas and thinking about reinstalling the portal, which isn't prefereble solution.

    Hi,
It's really hard to say, where's the problem. I think you should reinstall it..., probably some components of your EP wasn't installed correctly.

PhotoShop external editor doesn't show up in Preset photoShop file application support. It is listed as the top editor in the Light room preference. But it will not go there. You can use export to Photoshop CC but not as a editor. It stays there. I have OS10.8 and Photoshop CC not Photoshop CC2014 at this time. If I go to presets in Lightroom preferences and push restore export presets
do I also lose my plugin presets and have to reload them ?

i'm sending a test json message to a class, which means that i have a super long line of content (easily 15k chars). for whatever reason, the horizontal scrollbar won't fire, which means that it gets clipped to the window with no way to move right. even moving the cursor with the keyboard won't advance it. looks like i broke something

    Ballistic,
Can you please file a bug at http://bugs.adobe.com/flex/ and include your project or a simple test case showing the issue.

  • JSP-Editor not working properly

    Hi everybody,
I am working with ISA5.0 and NWDI. I have checked out the Web-Module Project crm/isa/web/b2b.
Now I would like to modify JSP-Files. Unfortonately the JSP-Editor is not working properly.
The JSP-Editor cannot resolve references to Tag-Libraries like
    <%@ taglib uri="/isa" prefix="isa" %>
Furthermore I get Errors with JSP-Includes
    <%@ include file="checksession.inc" %>
The JSP-Editor does not show any other compile errors until the above mentioned errors are resolved.
So the JSP-Editor does not help with compile errors.
I have tried to use Lomboz instead, but due to the modularization in ISA5.0 and NWDI (ie the Taglibraries are defined in a separate module) I did not get it to work either.
Does anybody have experience on how to get the JSP editor to work properly?
    Thanks for your help,
    Andreas

Highlite the clip in the timeline, control click on it and choose "send to soundtrack as an audio file project" in the pop up menu. Don't do an "open with editor". This should work.
If it doesn't and it's just the one clip, you could launch Soundtrack and then open that clip as an audio project . . . don't do a open with editor, just open it directly. Make your adjustment and save over writing the file with the new audio. You may want to copy the clip first as a backup. When you open your FCP project, you'll have to re-link the clip. Once you do it will show up with the new sound.

  • JSP-Editor / JDEV

    Hi,
I develop the business logic with JDev but the Web-Designer wants to use an external HTML/JSP-Editor. Which tool works fine with JSPs and does not destroy any JSP content or the format and has a WYSIWYG mode ? (Frontpage seems to to have some problems with some JSP elemets and tries to change the format of my source code (indentation etc.)))
    Any recommendations are welcome.

  • Mail 5.2 doesn't show html/attachments in Lion 10.7.3

I recently upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard.
The problem is that Mail version 5.2 (1257) doesn't show html content or attachments. Even Apple's own templates from the application itself doesn't show correctly.
I've made sure that the "show remote html content in the Preferences is checked.
I've also tried to rebuild the mailboxes without any changes. Html-content and pictures stil doesn't show.
    How can I fix this?
Is there a command for the Terminal that can fix this?
    MBP 15" 2.2 GHz (10.7.2) 4GB RAM

    Step 1
Mail ▹ Preferences ▹ Viewing ▹ Display remote images in HTML messages: check
    Step 2
If you still have the issue, back up all data before proceeding further. Whatever happens, you must be able to restore your system to the state it's in now.
    Quit Mail if it’s running.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
Drag or copy – do not type – the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
    defaults delete com.apple.mail PreferPlainText
Quit Terminal. Launch Mail and test.

  • Running Sync BPEL process doesn't show any HTML form /XML source for input

    Hi
I designed, compiled and deployed SYNC BPEL process on to server
but when I opened console and try to run the process, it doesn't show any form for input
Actually it has to take input
    Where I am doing wrong...?
    Thanks for any help...

    Hi Praveen,
That is correct, you're not doing anything wrong. The BPEL Console doesn't show any forms for testing the services if the service is synchronous.
I test my synchronous webservices with Eviware SoapUI. This is a freeware tool. Check: http://www.soapui.org/
Just create a new project in soapUI, create a new request from WSDL, copy and paste the WSDL in soapUI. It will generate a default request for you, which you can edit and execute.

    Hi Dalegu219,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your iTunes library is on an external hard drive, but iTunes is not recognizing the library, first make sure the right library is selected.
You can use these steps to make sure iTunes is opening the library on your external drive:
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you're using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu, choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you're using a Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of these screens:
Pick Choose Library and locate the library on your external hard drive.
    From:
iTunes: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file or create a new one - Apple Support
If the right library is selected, but you do not see your songs, try re-creating the library using the instructions found here:
iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists - Apple Support
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
since JRE 6u21 the JNLPAppletLauncher doesn't work anymore.
The Java 3D's jars and native libraries hosted by Oracle.Sun can be accessed by including the extension http://download.java.net/media/java3d/webstart/release/java3d-latest.jnlp. More details can be found here : Java 3D Web Start Release https://j3d-webstart.dev.java.net/release/index.html

Does anyone have an idea of what this is caused by?
And why do all the warnings about "Invalid cookie. Value not a token or quoted value"
show upp all over the logs all the time ?

    Hi Siva,
    Thanks for your response.
    Please find my reply below:
    1. Have you renamed or moved the workflow model to other directory in etc/workflow/models/?
-> No. There was no renaming or moving of workflow models in the same directory or to other directory done.
-> However, there was a re-deployment of the complete package. But I am not sure how this could cause the version mismatch.
    2. Is it the problem with only your workflow model? or you're able to access other workflow models?
-> Nopes. This problem is there for all the other workflows.
    Cheers!

  • Minimize the Html standard editor by default in Textarea

    Hi,
I'm using Apex 3.0.1 for my application. I've used text area in the UI with the Html standard editor. I see that the page loads slowly coz the editor takes time to load with all the icons and stuff. Is there a way by which I can show the editor to be minimized on load? I think when required by clicking the 'arrow' icon the editor can be expanded. My application is more like a content management and so I'm using lots of text areas as this.
Can someone let me know if this is feasible to do and so if, how to achieve it?
    Thanks,
    gsachidh

There is no way of minimizing things in html.
Off course you can hide items with javascript for example, but that doesn't prevent it from loading, so your load time will not decrease.
If you put a condition on the item, it's not loaded at all so you save time.
Then there's the advanced way: Replace a normal text area with an Ajax call to a editor text area. But that's some more work and not standard apex.

  • Custom-portlet-mode doesn't show

    All,
I created a sample JSR 286 portlet and selected to show about mode (keeping view and edit) default. wizard creates a default about.jsp. However when i added another tag for preview, link to pick preview mode doesn't show in the top right corner (view actions menu) of portlet. Any idea what i am doing wrong.
    Thanks,
    Prasad

After i de and register again the portlet producer it showed up.
However the content of this is being displayed in a completely different page. Do you know how i can keep the response within the same portlet.
    thanks,
    Prasad.

  • Banner on wordpress site doesn't show in safari

On my Wordpress site I have added a banner from an external link to be displayed on my frontpage. After saving it doesn't show the banner in Safari (but it does show it in Chrome and someone externally tested and said it showed in Explorer; so the html code must be right). The weird thing is it does show the image of the banner in the Snippet Editor. Anyone has an idea what causes this or how to fix this, I want all Safari users out there to be able to see and click on the banner as well!

Some browsers are far more forgiving of errors than Safari, and not everything works the same way in different browsers.
If the image is visible when you use Safari - Develop menu - Disable Styles, then it's presumably a CSS problem that only shows in Safari.
Do test with all Safari extensions switched off, since they can have unexpected results.
