J1ID asks for Transport Request

Hi All,
The system asks for a transport request number while creating or changing excise tax rates and chapter ID in J1ID.
How do i disable the asking of the Transport Request number.

J1ID is for master data, No request should be cretaed.
Contact Basis Consultant or set in SCC4 t.code .

Hi Gourav,
If you go table maintanance generater of the table TCJ04 in SE11, you will find that Standard recording routine radio button is selected. That is the reason you are asked to provide transport request while updating data.

Asking for Transport Request while editing DTP in Quality - Client Open

We have opened the client and trying to edit the DTP, but it is asking for transport request.
Is there any other setting that we need to do in order not to prompt for transport request?

Hi Ganesh,
One of the options would be to save it in a DUMMY request ,incase you do not want to transport such that you make changes next time it will by default get saved in that DUMMY request i.e it will not ask for a request next time.
We usually save it in Dummy request,when we change a DTP in Quality or in Production.

Hi There,
It is asking for the transport request for each new entry in the table since the Delivery class in the attributes is set to C( Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import ), If it is set to "A" it will not ask for the transport request..
Try creating a custom table and play around with the Delivery class, A and C, you will come to know the difference.

While creating proxie asking for transport Request/task...

Hi Experts,
This is the first time i am creating proxies. When i entered Spoxy transaction and trying to activate the proxie its asking for package name,Prefix and Transport (Request/Task) .
The transport request shouild be created by network people or we can ignore it and it can created later.
Please guide me on how to proceed further.

The prefix name will be used in the creation of Proxy-Interface ABAP Name and in Implemented Class ABAP Name.
You should provide the transport request which will be helpful for further transport from one system to another.

Importing standard SAPScript text - not asking for transport request!

I tried to import some standard SAPScript text running program RSTXSCRP.
Everything was fine, but I was not asked for package and for a transport request... is it ok?
How can I send this standard text to Quality system?

You can use program : RSTXTRAN
Navigation -> goto SE38 -> enter RSTXTRAN -> execute ->
Name of correction -
text key -object - TEXT
text key- name - enter standard text name
Text id - ST
Text key language - EN
execute now -> select text here -> enter -> now click on push button trsfr texts to corr -> you will get pop up window( request)

Maintenance view entries asking for Tr. request

Hi ,
I have created a Maintenance view for a table.
While creating entries through view it is asking for
transport request.
How can I get rid of this prompt for transport request ?

1. Thats bcos in se11,
the DELIVERY CLASS
for this table must be C
(customizing table)
2. Make it to A (applicatkion table)
save, and activate the table,
and once again, create table maintenance.

Info Pack asks for trasnport request

Dear all,
After Patch Upgrade from EHP4 to EHP 10 , During Info pack edit it is asking for transport request.
we done below setting:
Transport connection>Object changeability>Info Package Type: (ISIP)--->Everything Changeable.
we are in SAP_BW (SAPKW73110) and release 731 , SP Level-10
Error message:
Carry out repairs in non-original system only if they are urgent
Message no. TR850
Diagnosis
This SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited.
System Response
The function continues.
Procedure
Only perform urgent repairs and also maintain these changes in the original system of the object.

I think that setting you have done is not necessary.Just collect your info package by searching & transferring to right side panel in transport connection. Also make sure that your Package is not in $tmp, If needed you can change it by right click on info package and assign there Package.
If info package in standard one then no need of it.
And one more thing I think is make sure you are collecting info package in Development/Correction's Task not in repair one;according to your error message.
Also you can collect your info package directly in your TR by double click on Development/Correction's Task and edit it. In Program Id put "R3TR",
object type "ISIP" and in object name Info pack tech name. Now save it. If any lock problem occurs unlock your task using SE03.
At the end check your TR for info package.

Customizing tables not asking for Customizing Request while saving data

Hi,
I have some customizing tables in my development server (Delivery Class = 'C').
These always used to ask for a Customizing Request whenever data was saved in them.
Suddenly, I have noticed they are no more asking for any Customizing Request. I cross-checked in the Transport Organizer and confirmed that there are no customizing requests of mine which may be already holding any data entries of these tables.
I wonder why this may be happening (believe it to be some basis configuration issue. also asked my basis guy but he has no clue).

My problem is now solved. Let me summarize the problem and the solution now.
-> The customization tables suddenly stopped asking for a request while saving data.
Somehow the settings had been reset, and as Gautham pointed out, it was corrected in the tcode SCC4
-> Most of the tables now worked fine, but still few of them didnt ask for requests
Here, I found out that the developers had chosen "no, or user, recording routine" instead of "standard recording routine". For such tables, when i check in the tcode SE54, menu path Environment -> Maintenance Objects -> Change, I find the Transport category 'No Transport'. Regenerating the maintenance generator choosing "standard recording routine" fixes this and the tables now ask for a customizing request.

Error when creating files for transport request SAPK-700BGINPLMWUI

Hello experts,
We're upgrading our 46c System to ERP 6.0 EHP4.
In Phase EHP_INCLUSION we get the following error Message: Disassembling package queue failed, rc = "2", reason = "Error when creating files for transport request SAPK-700BGINPLMWUI"
We've already checked the SAINT version; Upgrade Fix, SAPCAR version. We've checked our TMS as well and everything seems O.K.
Any help would be really appreciated!!!

Please Check the things in following sequence :
1.Use latest SAPehpi, R3trans and tp versions.
2. users/group authorization issue and/or ownersip limitations (set 777) .Reboot the server to make sure, that the authorisations are updated and there is no lock on a file in the EHPI dir.Repeat the phase.
Folders where permissions should be 777 are Upgrade directory, Data Directory, Cofile directory and .../EPS/in.
3. Source file corruption can be ruled out by execution
R3trans -l /usr/sap/<SID>/..../abap/data/R-700BGINPLMWUI.SAP (The data file corresponding to the Package which is giving error). Check if this ends fine.

4. Confirm that your transport tool is 'healthy' by testing it in STMS. In SPAM in client 000 use the function Disassemble package and enter the package <Package name>.
5. Try to update the kernel if it not helps.

Hello,
I hope you have configured TMS for two system landscape.
Just make the transport routes also, make DEV system as a Domain Controler.
Then transport requests will automatically come in to the request queue.
Using tx stms_import , import those request sequentially !!
Note: Points always encourage me to reply !!

following command are used to import request.
tp addtobuffer <request>.<sid> If a change request is not in the buffer then this command is used to add it to the buffer, before the import step starts.
tp import <change request> <sid>: To import a single request from the source system to target system.
you need to provide the profile path with -pf = <profile_path> at end of command
The following options are available for the R3trans program:
R3trans -d : This command is used to check the database connection .
R3trans -u <int>: Unconditional mode can be used as we have seen in the above example.
R3trans -v : This is used for verbose mode. It writes additional details to the log file
R3trans -i <file>: This command directly imports data from data file without a control file.
R3trans -l <file>: This provides output of a table of contents to the log file.
R3trans -n : This option provides a brief information about new features of R3trans.

I want to see the return code for transport requests after importing to QAS from DEV. What is the transaction code to find return code and can you explain in brief.

you can check it out in STMS
wht you can do is ,,
Run Tcode STMS > Overview imports (F5) > you will find all import queues > then click on the import queue in which u want to see the status of transport (DEV , QAS , PRD )
> then find out the transport no > click on that > then click on logs or press ( ctrl + f4)
