J1INQEFILE AFTER VALIDATING DATA SHOWING ERROR

Dear All
For J1INQEFILE validation we need to maintain Master data as per the details given in the
note no.1389028 as follows:

Master Data:
The master data for deductory category, ministry name, state name and sections can be downloaded
from the nsdl website.
1) Go to the website http://www.tin-nsdl.com/Downloadsquarreturns_regular.asp.
2) Refer the annexures of the file format excels under section 'The data structure'.

From "The data structure" File Format for Form 26Q in excel file.
1) TDS Statement for Non Salary category (File Header Record) has 17 rows.
2) TDS Statement for Non Salary category (Batch Header Record) has 62 rows.
3) TDS Statement for Non Salary category (Challan / Transfer Voucher Detail Record) has 39 rows.
4) TDS Statement for Non Salary category (Deductee Detail Record) has 33 rows.
There are total Five Annextures given at the bottom.
Annexure - 1 Statename and State Code - If the table is ready available for the same, what is the name
and if the new one needs to create what name would be given for the same and it has relation with the
row number 54 which is suggesting creation of a new field where it needs to be created.
Annexure - 2 Section name and Section Code - Already maintained.
Annexure - 3 Ministry name and Ministry Code - Maintain through J_1IMINSTRY_CD mention in 1389028.
Annexure - 4 Category and value for category - Maintain through J_1IDDCTR_CD mention in 1389028.
Annexure - 5 State Name and State Code - If the table is ready available for the same, what is the name
and if the new one needs to create what name would be given for the same.
I am facing the problem of following errors :
T-FV-2032       Valid Assessment Year must be provided
T-FV-2034        Invalid Assessment Year/ Financial Year
T-FV-2171        PAO Code not provided. Mandatory to be provide PAO code.
T-FV-2174       DDO Code not provided. Mandatory to be provide DDO code.
T-FV-2177       Ministry Name should be provided for the deductor category selected.
FVU Version : 2.128    Input File Name : raj.txt

Contract (me31k) can convert to PO after validity date.

Hi all,
I'm curious on the below mention scenario:
Contract-A is created using tcode me31k.
We have set the validity period and end date in the contract.
After the validity period (example:30-June-2009), we can still create PO referencing this contract.
Likewise, we can also do good receipt (dated 1-Nov-2009) on the contract's PO.
Is this the standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for this practise, or is there some setting/configurations that my side have miss out?

Action with out validation still showing error messages

Hello, I have a save action on a PopUp thats has the "with out validation" checked but still the error messages are shown... the problem is that y want to validate the fields by myself, not let the framework do it.
The other question I had is, is there a way to show the validation messages from the framework into the popup? because there are showing in the main window.

the problem is the acceptable range is wrong or probably wrong. this is resulting in your download speed being lower than the acceptable range and therefore shown in red

Not a valid date - error in Web dynpro hosting the form

Dear Experts,
I have an interactive form embedded in an ABAP WebDynpro screen. It has a date field which is filled by the user.
This field has been working perfectly fine except for one user. Whenever he tries to enter a date and validate (round trip to backend) he gets a 'DD.MM.YYYY is not a valid date format' error (i.e. '15.02.2011 is not a valid date format').
Since this is a user specific error, I am unable to debug. When I tried debugging with his login, this error could be intercepted as this is an error thrown by the framework itself because of incompatible types(I think).
I am using all 3 patterns (validation, edit and display)as DD.MM.YYYY. it is working fine for everyone else, including me!!!!!!
It is not a system/version issue as we both tried on a neutral system and it worked for me but not for him.
Does anybody have an idea as to how this is possible? Any solution for this issue?
I am baffled, to say the least.

Hello there,
I just found a solution to this problem.
The crux of this issue was that the 'Binding Pattern' of the date field in the form did not match the Date format of the user's 'Own Data'. For now, I requested the user to change to the frmat maintained in the form and it all worked well..
But this leads me to a new question.
How can we make sure that the binding pattern always matches any user's own data!
Is there a way this can be achieved??

In sqlplus after a bad compile where does the show errors data exist?

I am creating an automated deploy of code for project releases. In sqlplus I use the whenever command for sql errors but it doesn't catch bad compiles. When the process runs it runs as a dba user having the stored procs fully qualified causing the compile error not show in the user_errors but in all_errors. While experimenting I saw that another user could get a new record put into all_errors but my session when in sqlplus I still see the error from my compile from SHOW ERRORS. My question is where is the data from the show errors in my session stored and is it available for me to query so I can check for compile errors within sqlplus?

How do we use Data rules/error table for source validation?
We are using OWB repository 10.2.0.3.0 and OWB client 10.2.0.3.33. The Oracle version is 10 G (10.2.0.3.0). OWB is installed on Linux.

I want to apply data rules to source table/view and rule violated rows should go to defined error table. Here is an example.
Table ProjectA
Pro_ID Number(10)
Project_name Varchar(50)
Pro_date Date
As per above posting, I created the table in object editor, created the data rule
NAME_NOT_NULL (ie project name not null). I specified the shadow table name as ProjectA_ERR
In mapping editor, I have projectA as source. I did not find error table name and defined data rules in table properties. It is not showing up the ERR group in source table
How do we bring the defined data rules and error table into mapping?
Are there any additional steps/process?
Any idea ?

What is the version of OWB used in this blog?
After defining data rule/shadow table, I deployed the table via CC. It created a error table and created the all the source coulmns in alphabatical order. If I have the primary key as 1st coulmn (which does not start with 'A') in my source, it will apprear middle of of columns in error table.
How do we prevent/workaround this?
If I have source(view) in sch A, how do we create Error table in Sch B for source(view)?

I brought the error table details in mapping. Configured the data rules/error tables.
If I picked up 'MOVE TO ERROR' option, I am getting "VLD-2802 Missing delete matching criteria in table. the condition is needed because the operator contain at least one data rule with a MOVE TO ERROR action"
On condition Loading - I have 'All constraints' for matching criteria.
I changed to "no constraints' still I get the above error.
If I change to 'REPORT' option instead of 'MOVE TO ERROR' option, error goes off.
Any idea?

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

background job which is scheduled in sm37 is giving error for dated 01.01.2009 to 30.01.2009.
But before 31.12.2008 it was working fine

This is happening in Production and developement client.

One function module is used in the report for geting fiscal year from date.
it is showing the following error messege for perticular date range- 01.01.2009 to 30.01.2009.

Hi,
Did you put the date fields to be dynamic in your variant? i.e if in your variant you specified date range of last year, this will not work for this year and eventually give you an error message that the date is not valid...

Are you trying to download apps from the Sudan app store? If so, you have to have a valid credit card and billing address in the country of the app store to purchase from that app store.
Some countries also have restrictions on the apps and functions allowed in their countries.

SBL-DAT-00398 error msg for User Field Validation

Hi All,
I have created the following field validation on the User field "Division": Len([<Division>])>0 AND InStr([<ltValidation_OU_ITAG>],[<Division>])>0, As the "Division" field is free text, the porpuse of the validation is to prevent the user from entering in this field any value that is diffrent from the ones available in the custom field "Validation OU" via the User Owner Page Layout. The validation works OK for Admin Role via the User Admin Page Layout but a SBL-DAT-00398 error msg stating " Field '<Division>' does not exist in definition for business component 'Occam Current Employee' " appears when users with other roles are trying to update this field via the User Owner Page Layout.
I have contacted OD Customer support and they validated this in several POD saying this "is most likely a defect in the application" and a CR will be submitted to dev team to fix it sometime in the future.
I am wondering though if support isn't making life easy here stating the above...:
1. Anyone encountered this error before? (couldn't find any trace for this on My Oracle Support)
2. Anyone aware of field validation limitations for the 'User' entity?
3. Workaround suggestions are welcomed

Error(), fatal(), info() and warn() issue FacesMessages that get picked up by the MessageGroup component.
By adding in the uicomponent you can target the facesMessage so that it gets picked up by the Message component associated with the field causing the error.
But, to get the label to show the error as well, you need to throw a validationError. See this tutorial for more informaiton:

The E-Recruiting Workflow after Data Entry Error enables you to change and internal or external application that was entered manually. If for example, you enter the application to the incorrect reference code, you can assign a different one. As a result the status of the original application is set to rejected with the status reason of "Replaced by new Application".
My question is why doesn't the candidacy also get set to rejected? Although the application is rejected, the candidacy is still in process and so this candidate will continue to show on the Candidate Shortlist for the requistion. There is nothing that I can tell that will stop a recruiter from continuing to recruit this candidate. I am thinking of changing the workflow to also reject the candidacy, but before I do that, I want to know if there is an error in my thought process here.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
