Their is no check in the system for using the single material doc twice or n number of times in J1IS
How can we control the same.

Hi,
We have a recurring issue in our system where a Serial Number/Material combination can be used in another sales order once it is already in ECUS status.
Example: We sell and post material 123 with serial number 456, it goes into ECUS status, and we are then able to create a sales order with the exact same numbers.
Is this something that I should escalate to OSS? Why is this happening? Is there an IMG setting where I can turn on this functionality?

The org. determination rule is setup correctly, I've followed the link below to determine sales area on item level - to clarify, we are creating online sales orders (B2B scenario)

Check the table in the section "Organizational data at item level" - i have already assigned an org.determination profile with no determination rule on item level and still facing the same problem.

Yes, but if you want these devices to have complete capability of calling each other they each must have their own separate, individual e mail address. If they don't have individual e mail addresses, the i phones will be able to call each other because you'll be using their individual phone numbers -- the Mac mini will be able to call the i phones, but, the iphones will not be able to call the Mac mini. This is because the iphones will be using the mini's e- mail address to make the call, and if they have the same e mail address, they will think they are calling themselves, so the call will not connect.
So, the way I see it is, if you keep all of the email addresses the same, the only thing you'll loose is the ability of the iphones to call the mini.
EDIT: Thinking about it, my first sentence needs to be modified. Your iphones can share an email address but it must be different from the Mac mini address.
This isn't rocket science, but it can make your head spin. LOL

How to create a material which can be used in T-Codes VAO1 & MB1C create

Hello Experts,
How can I create a material which can be used to create a sales order and can be used to create inventory using VAO1 and MB1C T-Codes respectively.
What are the configurations that I need to take care of, while creating it?
I need to create a material which can be used in the whole sales cycle(sales order,goods issue,billing and etc).

Thanks for your fast replies.. I have created a new material and was able to create inventory thru MB1C. But I was not able to generate a goods delivery(VL01N) and billing document(VF01) for the sales order.
Error: No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date
Message no. VL248
Diagnosis
There are no schedule lines due for the given order item up to the date chosen.
System Response
The system does not create a delivery item for this order item.
Procedure
Check whether the order item to be delivered contains confirmed schedule lines.
If this is the case, set the selection date further into the future if you still want to create a delivery for this item.

Linking mat doc info rec to PR, ensuring same material docs only

I have created a doc info record with object link to material master. Then I created a PR with the same material as in doc info object link.
1) First of all is there any way to automatically link the material level doc info rec to PR.
If not how to ensure that while adding object link to PR system allows attachment of only the DMS docs pertaining to same material as in PR item .
I know in DMS there is a facility of additional object but my requirement is different.
2) Similarly is there any way PO can be linked to a vendor level docinfo rec at header level.
3) I have created a PO from PR. A DMS document was attached to the PR but the same thing is not reflected in PO. I am afraid document link from PO is not activated in my system (we are on 46C). But the relevant notes seem to be already in place for the screens for me21n.

Hello Md,
You have to play with the structure control_parameters, to indicate to SAP to not ask for print/print preview
-> option no_display
You could set in this structure all the print parameters ...
And if you want to ask the print parameters to the user, you could use the function module GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS

IPhone 5 same electrical charger can be use abroad ?

I purchased iPhone 5 on December 2012 in USA.
I am going for a trip to Singapore, Malaysia and Bangkok. My question is " Can I use the same Electrical charger to charge my iPhone 5 in those countries or do I need to buy an external adapter or kind of " ?

you only need a plug adapter. the Apple charger is universal.

Same serial no. can be used in GR for consumable procurement

Dear Experts,
We receive goods against PO. For PO w/o account assignment(stockable procurement), during goods receive for a meterial which as serial number profile, SAP does not allow same serail to be posted for same material but for PO with account assignment ( comsumable procurement) same serial number cab be given in serial number tab for multiple goods receive which is duplicate posting. SAP should not allow serial xyz to be posted for material 123 more than one time.
Kindly advice what to check and how to resolve this error.

If the scenario is sap std. then what is the explanation of sap for this. If same serial number is received for mutiple MM doc and equipment number is same for multiple goods receive doc, what will be asset value of the quipment..

Can I use the same serial number for mac and pc?

My problem is that my mac is falling apart and I don't know how long it's still working - can be hours or can be months. I'm not sure if my next computer is mac or PC, so I'd like to know if the same serial number can be used with both mac and PC? I have understod that I can delete the program from my old computer and then use the same serial number in my next computer (Is it working that way?). So if I now buy a lisence for mac, can I use the same lisence later with PC?

Can you use two different iTunes accounts in Apple TV

My wife and I have our own iTunes accounts which we use on our separate iPhones, but on the same Macbook. Can we use these separate accounts on Apple TV. Not at the same time of course.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
How do you run your two separate accounts.
If they are part of the same library then you can access content from both iTunes accounts at the same time.
If they are different libraries in the same user account and you switch them then you can access content from whichever library is active at the time.
If you have two user accounts you can access both libraries at the same time providing both user accounts are running and iTunes is open in each (this option is mac only)

Same material master in two company codes with batch management

Hi,
There are two company codes in one client. In one batch management is already active. But in another company code batch management is not required. Is it possible to have batch management active in one company code and inactive in another company code where both the co. codes are in the same client? The same material master to be used in both company codes.

Hi Satyabarata,
As far as you dont want to move the same materiel i.eStock Transfer with Inter comapy billing scenario then it will be fine.
If you try to Transfer a Batch manged material into a non batch manged CC it will work fine. But on the other hand when do via-versa the system will ask for the Batch information where the Batch management is active.
If you want to use same Material Master for both CC then its not advisable.

Can you use the HDMI Out and the Optical Cable out at the sametime?

I would like to connect the HDMI out cable from Apple TV to connect to the HDMI digital video/audio connection to my stereo and connect the optical out on the Apple TV and connect to my Zone 2 on the same reviever.

Yes, lots of conflicting reports, sometimes things can change from one AppleTv firmware to another.
I had assumed PJJW12 was planning on viewing and also outputting audio to Zone 2.
I assume the AppleTv would be hooked to the Av amp - might be worth seing if the current HDMI audio could be routed to Zone 2 to avoid need for an adapter. However the AppleTV is connected if there is a TV involved and audio processing gets passed through it may also be possible to take analogue out from a TV and perhaps route that to Zone 2.

For ur scenario, u have carried out external service management process.
Because , subcontracting is nothing but , u have to X material and receivea as A materia or some different material.
SO if u r going to receive the same material , u can do it as service process.

Same material with diff. Production scheduler profiles

I am working on PP-PI, where the same material is being manufactured using separate order types.
To be more specific, one order type for the regular manufacturing & another with Re-work order type. The requirement is such that the Order type dependent parameters & production scheduler profile are different in both the cases. Since my master has the prod. scheduler for regular manufacturing on the material master, even if i select the Re-work order type the system is considering the Settings of the regular manufacturing order.
I need to keep the production scheduler profile of the regular manufacturing order as a default in the material
master due to various reasons. At the same time system should consider the settings for Re-work order only when the specific order type is manually selected during order creation.
Appropriate solution would be of great help, thanks in advance

Try using user exit. change the production scheduler profile during order save based on the order type.
check with your technical team.

Label printing should be only once for a material doc number

Hi,
we have a tcode in which if we provide a material doc no. and number of prints..but once we print the labels,
then again if we have to print for the same material doc no..it should not print..instead it should ask for permission to print that number again..is there any option available in scripts to do like this?

try to maintain ztable
                 ztable fields document no , printed...
such that to identify the docu no has been printed previously r not...
select single printed from ztable into printed where docu no = p_document.
    if printed = X
      if it is printed then try to pop up a screen such thst to approve it ....
       else.
     print it strightly.....
