J2EE Engine JC00 of SAP System did not come up after 200 seconds waiting fo

Hi,
In the process of installing SAP WEBAS for java, during the last phase of installaion I am getting this problem
J2EE Engine JC00 of SAP System EPD did not come after 200 seconds waiting for another 20 seconds.
my platform is
AIX 5.3
jsdk jsdk1.4.2 64 bit
Can any one help me out as I am stuck and getting no help from anywhere
pradeep

Hi Pradeep,
Check your trace files in the /usr/sap/<SID>/DVE.../work directory (dev_bootstrap, dev_disp, log_bootstrap etc..) for any errors preventing J2EE from starting.
It can be related to incorrect java path in the instance profile, incorrect JDK (see the OSS note # 716927).
You can restart J2EE engine via SMICM once you clarify the issue.

Mike

    Hi,
The problem could be with any of the following.
1>check JDK version you are using. use supported JDK in case if you you don't have
    2>check your memory parameters. Notes 597187, 552522
    might be of help.
may be the problem could be with the Heap Size.change it to value (ex:1024 MB) and try if it works.
    also
3>check whether you started in safe mode. if so, change it to normal mode.

  • SAP/System did NOT prompt me for a transport request for ALE BD64 CDM View!

    Hi Experts,
Am doing ALE setup for sending sales orders IDOC out to a 3rd party system.
I have created the logical system and attached to a transport. Here we dont have necessity of linking a client to this logical system!
Then, I created a Distribution Model (CDM) View in BD64 transaction and added Message types to it, but SAP/System did NOT prompt me for a transport request!! Pls. let me know
    1) Is it usual with CDMs creation that NOT prompting for a transport? if so, How my CDM/changes will be moved to QA/Production?
    2) If not, Why system did not prompted me for a transport?
    3) Then How Can I attach my CDM/changes to a transport?
    Thank you

I don't think we get a TR prompt when adding a view in BD64.
You've to individually maintain the CDM view in QAS & PROD. Also there is a functionality to "distribute" the CDM view, are you looking for something similar ?

  • System does not come up after homogeneous system copy

    Hi there,
after a regular system copy of our Java-only Portal the system does not come up.
'startsap' warns with these messages :
Warning : /usr/sap/SPE/JC51/j2ee/cluster/bootstrap/../server0/bin/ext/jdbdictionary/jddi.jar file stated but does not exist !
Warning : /usr/sap/SPE/JC51/j2ee/cluster/bootstrap/../server0/bin/ext/antlr/antlr.jar file stated but does not exist !
Warning : /usr/sap/SPE/JC51/j2ee/cluster/bootstrap/../server0/bin/system/frame.jar file stated but does not exist !
and, yes , these really important directories do not exist - under /usr/sap/<SID>/JCxy/j2ee/cluster/server0 there is
only ONE directory , which is 'apps' .
database starts, but not the j2ee engine
    OS :Solaris 10, Oracle DB
I'm confused (i did the system copy 2 times, because I did not believe what I saw ....)

    Hi Sunny,
    thanx for your answer.
There are NO logs, either dev_server* nor dispatcher.
the only thing I found were under the work-directory, the dev_jcmon says :
    [Thr  1] Wed Oct 27 11:01:40 2010
    *[Thr  1] *** ERROR => Can't attach to administration shared memory (rc = 3) [jcmonxx_mt.c 228]*
and the bootstrap says mainly that it could not find the framework :
[Thr  1] JLaunchRequestQueueInit: create named pipe for ipc
[Thr  1] JLaunchRequestQueueInit: create pipe listener thread
[Thr  2] JLaunchRequestFunc: Thread 2 started as listener thread for np messages.
[Thr  3] WaitSyncSemThread: Thread 3 started as semaphore monitor thread.
    [Thr  1] Tue Oct 26 10:00:01 2010
[Thr  1] SigISetDefaultAction : default handling for signal 18
[Thr  1] NiInit3: NI already initialized; param 'maxHandles' ignored (1;202)
    [Thr  1] CPIC (version=701.2009.01.26)
[Thr  1] [Node: bootstrap] java home is set by profile parameter
            Java Home: /usr/java
[Thr  1] JStartupICheckFrameworkPackage: can't find framework package /usr/sap/SPE/JC51/exe/jvmx.jar
That make 'sense', because there is nothing  it could find ..

  • Solaris 10 u8 system did not update daylight savings time

I am running Solaris 10 u8 x86, and my system did not update for the daylight savings time change on Nov. 1, 2009. I am in the US/Mountain time zone. What should I do?
Patch 141517-04 is installed, I assume it came with u8.
Does this have something to with JAVA Time Zone updater? I saw this:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/timezones/tzdata_versions.html
Shouldn't u8 take care of all this automatically? Do I have to somehow get TZUT 1.3.20? By contacting support? What?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm running 64-bit Solaris as a VirtualBox (3.0.10) guest VM on a 32-bit WinXP host.

  • SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited

    Hi All,
We recently built a new system which is Copy of another system. We decomission our old system. Now when ABAPer is trying to edit Z/Y programs in se38 they are getting message "SAP System is not the original system of the object being edited".We already completed all post process after system copy.Client is open and status in Golbal modifiable in se06.
How we can resolve this situation.

    Hello Guys,
    Thks for your input.
    @Vinod,
We rebuild new development system from the exsisting devlopment system and scrap old one.And yes thats true that new system is not the original system where object was created, its  a replica of old dev to nev dev with SID change.
    @Arjun,
I already check TADIR table and and its pointing to new SID.
    @Ashok,
As i said earlier, post intallation is already completed.
Its a problem for developer who's getting some different format of screen when they editing development object ,like, when we perform manaul corretion in abap code through snote. They can see buttons to insert code line, delete line.
    Thx,Nilesh

    Niel...
I installed Leopard 10.5.6 and then it upgraded to 10.5.8, when I installed it I had the old info saved to a "previous systems" folder, where most of my artwork, etc. were saved, I have a one terabyte Lacie backup that unfortunately did not work as it was intended...it saved the new info and not the old. I did look into the system preferences folder and found the classic file, of course it wouldn't launch...but I have the old G 5 startup discs and will try to do it as you stated. I will try also to move it out of the previous folders file to my hard drive and see how that works.
thank you for your time and help,

Did you try disabling test packets?  I know Basler cameras have a "Enable Test Packets" setting buried in Advanced Network settings or something like that.  You have to change the setting in MAX to show all settings instead of just acquisition, then locate the setting.  I have been told regularly that the setting must be turned off for Basler cameras to work properly.  Perhaps your camera has the same setting and the same requirement.
    Bruce
A very specific firmware revision for certain Basler cameras had an issue where the test packet would not be sent for certain packet sizes and certain specific conditions, causing a false report of a test packet failure when a normal acquisition would in fact succeed. However, this was fixed in later firmware revisions and I have never seen a similar issue on any other types of cameras.
Aside from this specific case, if a test packet fails, it generally means an acquisition will as well. Given that Pleora's software can acquire, we can rule out networking topology and hardware, assuming you are using the same packet size as the Pleora software is. The only other thing that would seem a likely candidate would be a software issue like a firewall or some other filter driver that is interefering with IMAQdx receiving the data.
