J2EE engine shuts down and restarts....

Hi,
I am doing a scenrio using BPM with multiple parallel process. I am using a inbound file adapter for the incoming message to feed the BPM process. I have set 500 messages/per recordset. The process is stable when the message size is small but when the message size increases may be to 2MB,the J2EE engine collapses and restarts a certain period of time.
When I look at the incoming messages they seem to have failed at the BPM process. I am not sure what is causing the J2EE engine to collapse and restart...It works fine with less than 1MB incoming messages....Does it mean XI cannot support messages greater than 1MB? I know its absurd but this is very interesting..Checking the SMICM, I find the processes are all normal...

I tries and it doesnt work!!

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • My MacBookPro (mid 2012) will not complete the boot process. Yosemite's progress widget gets about 1/3 to 1/2 way across when the logo disappears and the screen goes all white for 10-15 secs or so, then the machine shuts down and restarts.

My MacBookPro (mid 2012) will not complete the boot process. Yosemite's progress widget gets about 1/3 to 1/2 way across when the logo disappears and the screen goes all white for 10-15 secs, then the machine shuts down and restarts. This sequence will repeat seemingly forever unless I shut it down manually.
I upgraded to Yosemite from Mountain Lion a couple months ago, skipping Maverick completely, and I've done any associated updates that Apple told me about. I don't recall which version of Yosemite I have, but I'm sure it is the "latest and greatest".
I've tried re-starting in Safe Mode / Safe Boot and that does the same thing as described above except without the endless restarts. Instead of restarting at some point, SafeBoot proceeds to the white screen and then it hangs until I restart it manually. (I've waited as long os 20-30 minutes with no response).
When I tried the option-command-p-r key combo I never get any chimes or other noises besides the original 1 time boot sound that you would expect to get when starting up a macbook pro.
I was using the mac quite normally (meaning I was doing work I normally do on it and there was no indication of anything wrong) immediately prior to this happening.
The machine is BootCamp(ed) with Windows 8.1 which I use from a VMWare virtual machine instead of natively so that I can have both OSes running at the same time. I also think this is unrelated to my problem. I have been using this setup for more than 2 years.
My upgrade to Yosemite was uneventful and I thought it went well and was very smooth. I don't want to lead attention away from Yosemite, but at this point my problem does not seem related to the upgrade.
    Any help is appreciated.

Install or Reinstall OS X from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
      1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
      2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
      3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
      4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Good day all, I am new to Mac. Just at a time when I am in the middle of something, my Mac will just prompt me to shut down and restart again. The computer will just freeze, and will not respond unless it is shut down and restarted. Is that how it works

    Good day all,
I am new to Mac. Just want to find out if your Macs always prompt you to shut down and restart. Mine happens very often sometimes, and it can be very embarrassing, especially just when you think you are almost done with what you are doing, only for you start all over again. Or, is there anything I am doing wrong, somebody please help, Thanks.

Trying to update my software (iPhone and iPad) it says my iTunes software needs to be updated, but it is already is. I try this over and over again. I've already reinstalled iTunes and have shut down and restarted my Mac several times. How can I fix this?

    This is what worked:
"In iTunes, I signed out of the store. I exited itunes and restarted it, logged back into the store (with my apple id), then I pulled down the iTunes menu in the menu bar and selected Check for updates.
At this point it said that iTunes 11.1 was available and I'm downloading now " Quoted from a fellow user.
    It fixed my problem.

  • My hard drive desktop suddenly will no longer hold or maintain the icons in place when I shut down and restart.  The icons all change positions, alphabetically.  Just started happening.  Any thoughts?

My hard drive desktop suddenly will no longer hold or maintain the icons in place when I shut down and restart.  The icons all change positions, alphabetically.  Just started happening.  I prefer the icons to a list format.  Concerned this might be a symptom of a larger problem.  Any thoughts?
    revmandan

It's normal for the icons at the top level of the startup disk to revert to the same arrangement every time the Finder is relaunched. If it's important to you to arrange those icons in a persistent way, proceed as follows.
    Back up all data.
Open the Info window on the startup disk (labeled "Macintosh HD" unless you gave it another name.) Click the lock icon in the lower right corner of the dialog and authenticate.
In the Sharing & Permissions section, click the plus-sign button to add an entry to the access list. Give yourself "Read and Write" access. This will be a temporary change. Leave the dialog open.
Open the Finder window and arrange the icons as you wish, then close the window.
In the Info dialog, use the minus-sign button to delete the entry you just added to the access list. Don't change anything else. When you're done, it should be the same as when you started. Close the Info dialog.

  • IMac (Oct 2009) keeps shutting down and restarting when not being used.

this morning tried to restart with safe boot and had spinning beach ball for more than 15 minutes. shut down and restarted nin recovery mode. verified and repaired permissions (all seem to be related to Canon Pronter plug-ins- had an error message yesteday asking if I wanted to repair printer software and I said yes). Printer seems to be working. Had one statement that indicated a screensaver issue-see below
a while back, iTunes album art screensaver hung up with just two album covers flipping in all rows and columns.
after a few restarts, it started working correctly again..- yesterday I set screen saver to never, but still had a crash this morning

Here's the latest panic report. BTW, I ran  for a while from an external system boot - very sloww (thumbdrive), but nothing happened. However, when I retarted I tried to restart in Safe Mode and the launch never completed (30 minutes without start)

  • Losing Desktop Items/Documents after shutting down and restarting

Twice, over the last couple of months after shutting down and restarting my macbook, everything on my desktop gets deleted, and it seems all the settings go back to their original form?
    Anyone have this problem?
    Message was edited by: jram1111

Hi, I had this problem and it was due to setting file vault in the security settings. I removed having that set and then I had to go into system settings, Account and under Login Items, add back items such as mail and things that required passwords that were not coming up on my dock after each time I shut down.
I hope this is helpful! Better late than never - if you have fixed yours, maybe this will help someone else.

  • Logger Service keeps shutting down and restarting

    Hello,
I have upgraded my lab UCCE call center to v9.0
    I have a simplexed environment
Ever since, the logger service keeps shutting down and restarting.
Recently, the node manager issued an error message and shut down the server
I tried to check some logs but I point out the problem, there are errors in different processes.
    Attached are the logs.

    Hi,
if the NM tries to reload the server, it indicates a Problem (capital inteded).
Indeed, there's something interesting going on:
08:29:11:822 la-rpl Trace: Starting Recovery Key for Admin table is 6717118506000.0
    08:29:11:822 la-rpl Trace: The largestkey = 7201232308043.0 >= startkey = 6717118506000.0
08:29:11:823 la-rpl Trace: To correct this problem: Stop logger service. Use ICMDBA tool to sync configuration data from its partner logger database. Restart logger service.

The short version: configuration data is corrupt.
The longer version: the above message in red informs about the result of a sanity check. Each configuration change creates a new row in one of the tables holding the config info, and each row contains a RecoveryKey which is usually a large number incremented by the insertion. The error message says the largest key (= last key) contains a value that is lower than the first key. Naturally, this is something to consider for a lonely philosopher, but the rigid world of Cisco ICM does not allow metaphysical phenomena. Lower numbers are supposed to be lower than higher numbers.
This, of course, raises an exception and the Logger service restarts. If there are too many restarts, the Node Manager kicks in and restarts the machine - this is just a mechanism that prevents a larger extent of data corruption.
Now, if there's an other side Logger - fine, as the error message suggests, you can initiate manual replication (provided the other Logger database contains valid information).
Unfortunately, as you have written, this is a side A only environment. This may mean:
    - accepting the situation, stopping ICM, throwing out the logger database, recreating it and reinstalling the Logger service,
    - poking around in various tables to check what may be saved - this may mean the beginning of an adventure.

My Factoy Unlocked iPhone 4s shuts down and restarts randomly. How do I get it to stop?

There are 4 Rs you can try:
    Restart
    Reset
    Restore from backup using iTunes
Restore as new without the backup (Before this step, save whatever is important to you)
