    You do not have iOS 5 or later installed. You need to connect to your computer and update using iTunes.
    See the chart below to determine whether you can upgrade your device and what you can upgrade to. If you do not have a Software Update option present on your iDevice, then you are trying to upgrade to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to connect your device to your computer and open iTunes in order to upgrade.

  • What's the reason for this message, "A server with the specified host name could not be found" ? I'm using iPhone 4s, 16gB, iOS 7.0.4

    I get a pop-up message saying "A server with the specified host name could not be found", whenever I try to access any streaming websites/apps or even WhatApp over Wi-Fi and I cannot access the specific THING for that moment, and I've tried switching Wi-Fi On and Off both in my Phone and also in the Router. I got an internet connection and a Wi-Fi router just before two days, and it's happening since. I got the internet speed around 80kbps and i can easily stream YouTube videos except sometimes, I receive that annoying message. I can't even browse the internet in Safari, which says "No Internet Connection"(Even though the Wi-Fi is connected), and I can access it after somewhile (say 10 minutes, it'll be perfectly alright). I use iPhone 4s. And everything about the internet connection is totally fine in my Computer, but not in my iPhone, as I've explained the issues, above. If there are any technical settings that I should change/modify, either on my computer(Windows 7 OS) or in my iPhone(iOS 7.0.4), PLEASE let me know
    I hope I've provided enough information for the reader to understand my point. (I apologize for my verbal mistakes, if there are )
    THANKS

    Hello Paneesh,
    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Wi-Fi on your iPhone 4s.  I recommend the following steps:
    Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
    Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
    Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
    Tap and Forget this Network.
    Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
    Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
    Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
    Update your device to the latest version of software.
    Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
    If the issue is still unresolved Wi-Fi disconnects or signal strength is less than expected
    Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
    Check for sources of potential interference.
    Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
    Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including
    previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
    recently used Bluetooth accessories
    VPN and APN settings

    Your computer can't connect to a computer named "son1175", or if it can then that computer isn't running a server listening at port 25. Talk to your network people if your computer name is the right one and ask them why not. It is nothing to do with programming.

  • Specified Host Directory does not map to your Site Address

    I have defined my site using ftp in the Dreamweaver site definitions and I can connect to it and upload changes with no problem. I am now trying to setup InContext editing capability to the site. When I go thru the steps to add a site in the InContext Admin section, the first steps in the process work fine.  I am able to fill out the ftp settings with my username and password and when I test the settings it comes back that it is able to connect to the site.  The next step is where I run into problems.  When I try to add the assets I get an error that says "The Specified Host Directory does not map to your Site Address".  I can use the same username and password with an ftp Client program and I have complete access to the root folder and all the files in it.  I have used exactly the same Host DIrectory in both my Dreamweaver Remote Setup and in InContext Admin.  Why does it work with Dreamweaver uploads and it can not be used to register in InContext?
    My site is www.sonautosales.com and my root folder is defined as /www.sonautosales.com/
    I have included a screenshot of the error message.

    Hi Corey:
    I just went thru the entire thread trying all the suggestions but
    still no luck.  The closest I come to getting this registered is using
    the following settings.
    ftp host:               ftp.prioritysalesandservice.com
    Passive ftp:          unchecked
    Username:          prioritysales
    Password:          ****          (I do not mind sending you the password if it will
    help you solve my problem)
    This tests good all the time.
    Host Directory:     /www.prioritysalesandservice.com/          (This is the folder
    name that contains my website and in it is the index.html page)
    Image Directory:     Images/                                        (the folder name inside the host
    directory that contains my images)
    Default Page:     Default.htm Default.asp index.html index.htm index.php
    index.cfm
    I think the host directory I am using because when I put that in and
    then use the browse button to find the Image directory it shows all
    the files and folders in my Host directory
    The website address is:     www.prioritysalesandservice.com
    Please let me know anything else you need, again I have tried all the
    things mentioned in the thread and by using these settings I get the
    following error when I save:
    The specified Host Directory does not map to your Site Address (URL)
    THe "/www.prioritysalesandservice.com/" host directory could not be
    accessed through this Site Address (URL):
    "http://www.prioritysalesandservice.com/"
    Thanks for you help, hope you can figure it out.

    Very frustrated!!!

    It's downloading with Firefox 3.6.27 as I write.  It's probably more a Safari problem in your case for which people on the Safari forum could provide suggestions.  Or mybe just try again in a while as I suspect everybody is downloading right now.

  • Filters not defined? Yes they are, I just defined them!

    In my CL_SALV_TABLE application, I set a filter in the screen. I then run this code:
    lr_filters = ir_salv_table->get_filters( ).
      IF lr_filters->is_filter_defined( ) = abap_false.
        EXIT.
      ENDIF.
    It always tells me there are no filters defined. But there are. I just defined them and can see them on the screen!
    I've used cl_gui_cfw=>flush( ). I'm currently on 7.01 SP 7, and can't find a note for this. Any ideas?

    I wish I hadn't used it! But I can't change it until next release of the software.
    The CL_SALV_TABLE object is an instance in the same class as the method in which I'm getting the filters. Hmm. Interesting. When I debug an event triggered on the ALV - I can see the filter. The lack of filter is when I'm processing the PAI... Maybe there's more than one instance hanging around...

    Launcher means shortcut to execute any file which is inside folder in Linux.Launcher are created on desktop to execute by one click of mouse.You need to create a command file that contains the required instructions to run putty with whatever relevant command line switches in order to start the remote program/process on Linux.
    For example, you have a trusted ssh connection (no password prompting) between your Windows account and the Linux vmware account. You need to execute command line +/home/vmware/bin/vmstart myVM+ on Linux.
    Your command file in Window will look something as follows:
    @echo off
    "c:\program files\putty\pssh.exe" vmware@my-linux-server "/home/vmware/bin/vmstart myVM"Once you've create this command file (.cmd file extention), you can create a desktop shortcut for it and assign an icon to it.
    However, first test the command file via an interactive console session to ensure it works. Also, I'm not sure you can script telnet using putty - but putty's ssh does support the standard ssh command line and one can execute programs/commands on the remote server in this fashion.
    Setting up trusted ssh connections is also important as passwords is a weak security mechanism. It requires a secret to be used and coded into scripts/software that needs to be authenticated.
    With ssh you generate a public/private key combination, and provide the public key as unique identifier for your o/s user and platform to a remote server (e.g. Linux). This now enables your platform and o/s user to be authenticated via the privatre/public key pair when your platform establishes a connection with the server.
    In putty, generate a ssh key (RSA). Copy and paste the public key into the Linux server account's "+home/vmware/.ssh/authorized_keys+" file. Make sure that the +.ssh+ directory and key have user read/write permissions only. And that's it - no password needed by your account to ssh into the Linux server account. No secrets that need to be kept secret (and that can be stolen and used from any other platform to gain access).

  • A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /CourseLaunch.aspx has not been defined

    Hi Team,
    I am facing a strange issue. Through my java application I am trying to invoke a webservices of another third party application, which basically launches a course from there.
    I have integrated the webservices code (WSDL, proxy classes & servlet) in my EAR file.
    Whenever I try to launch a course from my application for the first time, A new window opens with a HTTP 404 error. In the log file it says:
    A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx has not been defined.
    But if I close this error page & try to relaunch the same course from my application, the course loads perfectly. Do you know what might be causing this issue.
    I am invoking a 3rd party URL from my servlet as shown below:
    String launchURL = launchBaseURL + packid + "&elexssotoken=" + userkey;
    System.out.println("launchURL:" + launchURL);
    httpresponse.sendRedirect(launchURL);
    here the launch launchBaseURL=http://abc.com/elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=
    In my Sysout the URL is generated correctly i.e
    http://abc.com/elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=M-PTOS&elexssotoken=89bce4e0-c36d-4dc0-a9a2-0450c709cf64
    but on checking the HTTP traffic, I see the following flow
    #     Result     Protocol     Host     URL     Body     Caching     Content-Type     Process     Comments     Custom
    9243     302     HTTP     abc.com     /elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=M-PTOS&elexssotoken=89bce4e0-c36d-4dc0-a9a2-0450c709cf64     221     private      text/html; charset=utf-8     iexplore:1440
    followed by:
    #     Result     Protocol     Host     URL     Body     Caching     Content-Type     Process     Comments     Custom

    Here I see that host abc.com is followed by mywebapp.com which I think is causing this issue. But I am not sure why it gets redirected to mywebapp.com when I launch the course for the 1st time, but works fine when I relaunch the same course again.

    I'm not getting what the hard part is: you're requesting a resource that doesn't exist. You're requesting something under 'helpSet0' and no such thing exists on your server. What do you exactly mean by I've tried all sorts of things that "should" work ?
