  • Different material description for RG1 register

    Dear Experts,
I have a client requirement for change in material description (materialmaster) to a different description.
The description maintained in material master is for viz
    SS CT BT 200mm-123-093MKO
    But excise need description
    SS BILLET
Where to maintain this additional description in material master and fetch the same for RG1 register.
Let me know any stranded user exit is available. If the above case is possible than also let me know what would be the bad implications on processes (like stock will not match with description).

you either create a quickview by joining MARC and MAKT tables for this.
or much easier. you press F4 in a material number field.
then you go to search help W plant material.
there you erase the language from the selection pop-up and execute
in the hitlist do a right mouse click and you can directly download

  • Material form Packed, Loose is maintained for RG1 Register----where?

Pls Suggest me to solve the problem. I want to know where the material form is maintained. P for packed, L for Loose. In RG1 register for Packed material everything is getting reflected in RG1 Register. Whereas for loose material opening balance, Total of opening and manufacture & Closing balance are not getting reflacted in Rg1 register.
I have checked till the date all production & issue are there in J_1IRG1 table after J1I5. After extracting the thru J2I5 only packed material is getting updated in J_2IRG1BAL table. But not the loose or unspecified material. However my clients need to get packed as well as loose material in RG1 register.
Manually in development client i changed the Losse or unspecified material as Packed by direct table entry in J_1IRG1 for testing. After doing the same when i extract the data thru J2I5, everything is coming in J_2IRG1BAL table. And getting reflected in RG1 register.
Now I have to change the Loose material as Packed material. So my problem will be solved. That is my objective.
Pls tell me how to do the change. Is any config setting or assignment?
    Its urgent.
NB: helpfull answer will be awarded.

  • Error in excise duty values in RG1 register

    Dear All,
While extracting the RG1 registers it has been found that values for Basic excise duties, Education cess and SH edu. cess are not appearing properly.
    I have verified the following
    1. There were 3 deliveries against which 3 separate invoices have been created. Against these 3 invoices, 3 excise invoices have been created. All the inoices are posted to accounting.
    2. Sales material as well as sold to and ship to parties are same in all the three invoices.
    3. Dispatch location i.e. plant is same for all 3 invoices.
    4. In J_1IEXCDTL table EXBAS as well as EXBED, ECS and EXADDTAX1values are appearing properly for all the 3 line items.
But no values are coming for 2 line tiems; whereas correct values are coming in 1 line item in the Excel download as well script for RG1 register.
    Please help ASAP.
    Thanks & Regards
    Piyush

    Dear Lakshmipathi,
All the 3 invoices are psoted to accounts. All the 3 excises invoices are also posted to accounts. Duty values are flowing properly.
The problem is in the RG1 register extraction.
BED, ECS and HCS values are displayed for line 1 but it is blank for remaining 2 line items.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Excisie duty updation problem during RG1 register update

    Dear All,
During updation od RG1 register, excise duty has not been updated in Rg1 register. Transactional entry updated but Exice duty/ ecs/ CEss is showing zero value.
It happened with two materials only. all excise master data has been maintained for that material.
    What will be reason ?
Your valuable reply is appreciated. Thanks

    Mangesh

    Hi Mangesh,
I hope you are using the std transaction J1I5 for RG1 Register update.
Normally we update the RG1 Register using the material documents.
So check whether for the material documents which you updated whether an excise invoice has been created or not ? because std - J1I5 transaction doesnt check the same.
If you have updated the RG1 register after creating the excise invoice for the above materials doc's then excise value will be updated in the same.
IF its not happening then check if any SAP notes are available.
    Hope its clear.

  • Error in updation on rg1 register

    Hi
I created a excise invoice for factory sale. While updating the register
J1I5 Update the RG 1 and Part I registers
it is not simulating. Why is there any customization setting i have to do or what?
    kindly help in this matter
    regards
    chakri

In the case if updation is for first time:
    RG1 Updation
    The sequence is like this:
    1. In SE16, enter Table name: J_2IRG1BAL, and click on Create. Enter the material Number and 'P' in Material form (Loose/Pack indicator) and click 'Save'. This step is to be done only for the first time.
    2. Do your Initial Stock entry in MB1C, movement type 561
    2. Go to J1I5, select Posting Date, Document Year and 'ROP in Classification (Receipt from outside under any other provision). Click on Create icon (Register entry)
    4. Go to J2I5 and extract the RG1 Register. You must get a green checkmark.
    5. After doing the PFI, go to J1I5, select Posting Date, Document Year and Classification 'IDH' (For domestic sales) or 'IDE' if the first removal is for Export Sale. Based on the accounting document generated during PGI (MB03) the RG1 Register gets updated with the removal for Outbound Delivery.
    6. Reextract the RG1 register in J2I5. You must get a green checkmark. For the RG1 Register printout, go to J2I6, select the option, 'Script Form' and hit 'Execute.
All this was in OSS Note: 373001.

    Hi,
I have run into the same problem with SOA 11.1.1.5 version. In my case after fixing the following two errors it seems to work fine.
If you have followed the guide, there must be some errors:
First the java code if copied then contains an extra enter value:
    Instead of:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization
    Administrator");"
    Use the following:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization Administrator");"
The other error is that you should not use <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-manifest.jar, but the <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-api.jar in jdeveloper. After these the deployment to the application server works fine for me.

While attempting to check out, ERROR states "Account registered for different country.  Please sign out and sign in using an existing account for this country."  I started my account in India.  Then changed it to the US when I moved here, then tried to change it back to india when this issue arose, however, the error still occurs.  How can I fix this??

I think a new account may be the easiest way if you don't have an existing subscription or cloud files for which to keep continuity.

  • RG1 register entries during GR for Finished goods- in tarde business

    Hello Experts,
I have to configure trading business scenario, in which my client externally procures the finished good from his vendor and sale the same one with added overheads. I have configured Sales order that reflects item cataory TAB so auto PR generetes during sales order. Base on PR i can do PO followed by MIGO. But during MIGO system omittes error  as: Excise Invoice cannot be captured for RG1(Finished Goods) material  now here i have to change the material type in j1id from finished good to raw material. Then system allows the transaction.
Please enlight the issue, am i doing the right step or it needs to be corrected, if so please help me out with, how can i handle excise related entries in this transaction (specially for RG1 updation during initial GR)
    Thank you in advance..

    Hi,
When FG trading is involved, RG1 should not be updated. In trading there cannot be CENVAT credit. It is for manufacturing activity only.
You need to update RG23D so that you can pass the exact Excise duty to the customer.
The process is receive Goods, Capture excsie invoice and create excsie invoice from depot for sales to the customer.
    Hope this helps.

Just wanted to know, 1)whether you are using this functionality for the first time or
2)it was updating the RG1 register earlier but it is not updating now.
If your answer is 1), .......

                                             B) Check that whether RG1 balance is uploaded RG1 opening balance table
                                             C) You need to update the RG1 inward entries before updating the outward entries
                                             D) Check whether classification IWO is relevant for RG1 updation or not
If your answer is 2), .......
                                            A) Check the RG1 balance

  • Assessable value in RG1 register for IWE classification

    Dear Sirs,
We are not getting Assessable value for export issues made from RG1 register under IWE category in j1i5. Is there any solution to bring in assessable values for IWE in RG1 register?
    regards,
    rahul

    Dear Pankaj,
Refer SAP Note: 951955. FAQ for RG1 question number 10.
Content of the same provided below:
    ===
    10. Assessable value is not appearing the RG1 register in transaction J1I5.
Answer: If the scenario has another pricing condition other than PR00 (for example, another price condition exists containing the balance of the PR00 and discount condition) then PR00 has to be maintained as a statistical condition so that the base value will be PR00 minus discount condition, i.e., the second price condition.
    ===
Value column in RG1 register is updated based on the Condition Type in Pricing Procedure for which setting is as below:
    Condition Class: B - Prices
Condition Category: H - Basic Price
Excise Values are updated in RG1 on creation of Excise Invoice
