One catch is that you must install 32 bit packages/distribution first and only then you can install additional 64 bit support. Please refer to this document:

there is no 64 bit Forms 6i (never was and never will be). It is only for 32bit. Forms 6i is still available on OTN to download for certain platforms. For 8i - you can't download from OTN

I have the exact same problem while extracting Windows 8.1. It is good to know that the downloaded file is not corrupted and the problem has been identified. May I ask what is the solution. How do I make these errors go away and start installing windows
8.1 on my PC.

Flash Player Distribution - 64bit Downloads?

Hi,
I would like to upgrade the Flash Players on all our Windows based machines to 11.3.300.271, we deploy via Group Policy. I went to the 'Adobe Flash Player Distribution' page to get the updated MSI packages as I have done in the past and there is only the 32bit version available (for both MSI and EXE types).
Is there a 64bit release of the update yet? If so, where may I download the updates in my required MSI format?

The latest installer combines the 32-bit and 64-bit players; it will automatically install both on x64 systems.
You can verify it by checking the install folders
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash

I try to install 64 bit by edit GRUB /amd64/unix before install but the system "Panic" but now I am installing 32 bit version. This server has ever install 64 bit version when it first reach and it is automatically choose for me and I would like to try to install update 2 so that I start to fdisk and install in again. Is it the hardware problem regarding this issue? Because I connect Liteon DVD-Rom directly to the motherboard but on the first time of the installation, the 64bit version come up automatically but this time is set 32bit as default. Is anyone ever found this problem?

64bit download problem

I just bought a HP Pavilion m6-1035dx Entertainment Notebook PC it has Windows 7 64bit. I've tried to instally ITunes on it several times. It goes through getting the files and once it is ready to put the files on my computer it tells me it is unsecure and asks me to delete the files. Even if I continue the process it doesn't install anything on my computer and just shuts the download off. It is stock from the shelf except for the anti-virus Trend Micro that I installed. Any thoughts on what I can do to get this installed onto my new computer?

32 bit vs. 64bit download link question

My daughter just bought a prepaid CC student and teacher license for her studies. She bought it thru thinkedu.com and it is the $199.00/12 month subscription. Her computer runs windows 8 pro 64 bit OS. The download link says 32 bit. I want to help her install it this weekend and have not clicked on the link yet to install.
Two questions. 1) Will the 32 bit link be a problem in getting the best possible performance out of her computer (hardware aside)? 2) does the subscription begin when activation begins or is the meter running right now?

J2SDK 1.4.2 download package

With 1.4.0 I was able to download a package and then copy that package locally to multiple machines. With 1.4.2, however, the "package" is only a small bootstrap installer, which means I need to download the whole 37MB on each machine I wish to install on.
On a 56KB connection this is really undesirable :-) How can I get the whole package?

The Adobe Application Manager reports an update for Photoshop CS6 Extended but when I tell it to update, it goes through a download and reports "Unable to extract downloaded files. Press retryto download again. U44M11210"
Repeated attempts to download and install have failed.

I'm trying to download itunes, but after clicking download it just takes me to a screen that says thanks for downloading itunes, but nothing has downloaded, any ideas what I can try?

I had it before but had to reinstall windows due to a software glitch. Whats the problem?I guess the problem is that the JDK wasn't installed to the directory you specified, but somewhere else. Because installed it was, you wouldn't see the Webstart icon otherwise.
