Jabber voice for iPhone 9.1.7 crashes on iPhone 5S
Few users reported that Jabber voice for iPhone crashes on 5S after updating to latest 9.1.7 version. App loads, register to CUCM but crashes when using dial pad and application closes itself. App works on iPhone 4.
Does anyone else have the same issue?
The following error is reported via Console:

IPhone 2.0 has crashed my iPhone
I am trying to get connected after downloading iPhone update 2.0.
However I am now stuck with the iPhone in Recovery mode. Everytime I extract the software and try to begin updating to 2.0 I get the error message in iTunes 7.7 'The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error has occurred. (2005)'
I have tried downloading earlier versions of the iPhone software, but no joy. Similarily I have tried downloading older version of iTunes (from www.oldapps.com) but again, this has proved useless.
I have been without my phone all day and am at my wit's end trying to work out how to fix this. Can anyone help me please?

Newest iPhone 4 software update crashed my iPhone
I was using an older version of iTunes (9 I believe) and updated my iPhone software this morning.
I got an error message (no code given) but it said it couldn't complete the update and would need to be restored.
I tried to restore it but it won't recognise the phone, I installed iTunes 10 but it still doesn't work.
I'm really annoyed at this, this is my first iPhone - I knew I should have got the HTC Desire.
But in the meantime any help would be immensely helpful.If your phone cant be recognised by iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Connect the phone to the PC.
Press and hold the 'Home' and 'Power' buttons on the phone.
After 10 seconds release the 'Power' button.
Keep holding the 'Home' button until iTunes pops up telling you it has detected a phone in recovery mode.
You should now be able to restore the phone via iTunes. -
Jabber voice crashes on iPhone 5S

Just installed latest version if Jabber Voice from the Apple AppStore and it immediately crashes when selected. I am running IOS 7.0.4.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?

When I ask Siri the stock price for MBL (other codes work fine), my iphone 5 crashes - does this happen to anyone else?

Additional Voices for VZ Navigator on the iPhone?
Is it possible to download additional voices for the VZ Navigator on the iPhone 4S? I think this question was asked before a couple of years ago, but I couldn't find an answer.

You have to hit the volume up button while the app is actually voicing instructions.
1. Start a VZ Nav navigation session.
2. Repeatedly press the volume up button while the app is voicing a manuever.
This should take care it the issue. -
My laptop hard drive crashed and I lost my ringtones, but they're still on my iPhone. If I sync my iPhone with the reimaged hard drive, I'll lose the ringtones from my iPhone. Is there any way to transfer ringtones from my iPhone back into iTunes?
Thanks, but ringtones not purchased from iTunes, created them just before computer crashed.just before the next scheduled biweekly backup.
I found and downloaded TouchCopy 12 for PC and was able to copy the ringtones from my iPhone to my Windows laptop very easily. It also enables you to transfer photos, memos, voice messages, etc. -

Your phone is not listed as supported handset; the fragmenetation of the Android platform tends to lead to unreliable behavior on most handsets. The release notes stipulate what is supported.
What do the logs from the client or a packet capture from the CUCM server show when the client is attempting to reconnect? -
IPhone 5 apps keeps crashing after 7.1 update
I've updated my iPhone 5 to latest release yesterday.
Since then whenever I open Facebook, it closes streight away, the same is for majority of apps.
When I receive a phone call, it crashes after about 1-2 minutes.
I've tried soft reset (holding power+home) hoping that will clean up some mess after update, but everything still keeps crashing.
Any help on how to fix this, or if not, how can I downgrade back to previous version?

I updated to 7.1 a couple of days ago and my Iphone 5 hasnt stopped crashing since. I have soft reset it many times, only to find that it keeps failing in opening up unless I leave it for an hour at least.
Last night I linked it up on my mac and tried restore to factory settings, knowing I have a backup from before my upgrade.
But it failed the restore first with error 2006 and after update of Itunes security settings, with error 9.
Now the phone wont start and I cant get it to finish restore either - any advise? -
ITunes Synchs my iPad 2 then crashes my iPhone 4 and vice versa
I took delivery of my iPad 2 yesterday. I synched it no problem (not including the photos at this stage as that would need to be done overnight). I then went to re-synch my iPhone 4 and it crashed/Windows shut iTunes down.
I tried several times more, decided to look on the forum and deleted the iPod Cache under My Pictures. This worked, I was able to re-synch my iPhone 4 and all the photos (that were deleted as a result of deleting the iPod Cache) were reinstalled.
So far so good....until it came to trying to synch the photos onto my iPad2 overnight.....same problem occured as with my iPhone 4 - Windows has shut down iTunes again! I'm sure if I delete the iPod Cache I will then will able to upload all the photos onto my iPad - but am equally sure that when I come to re-synch my iPhone the same problem will occur and I'll be going round in circles.

Any ideas....I would have hoped that synching both machines fully, albeit with different settings (ie different music and photo files to upload/synch) would be easy. Am I missing something!?
We also synch two ipods to itunes and in the past have never had an issue - I really hope this isn't the case going forward!

ThanksHi Meg thanks for the advice, I'm concerned about resetting both devices with no access to my iTunes, I've previously had issues where it would require iTunes to reset properly. Second issue is installing the same sharing app on the iPhone with no access to AppStore while I have no data on the phone. Guess I'll have to wait till I get home to access those photos on any other device... Ohwell.
I think theres an assumption made by Apple that users of iPad and iPhone would always have access to the Internet, at the very least on the iPhone. Evidently thats not the case, they just didn't think it through when designing it. Hope they take notes on this forum and release hotspot functionality on iPad, that would really solve slow BT transfer speed problem also. BT has always been slow with file transfer, not really aware of it's best use.

ITunes 10.5 crashes when iPhone 4 plugged in
After my partition got corrupted last night (thanks 10.7.2 and FileVault!) I restored from a 1 month old backup. I updated to 10.7.2 and iTunes to 10.5. Now when I plug my iPhone 4 in (Running iOS 5 GM), it tells me I need to put the passcode in and unlock it first. So I do this and click the 'try again' button, but when I do that iTunes closes. If I open up iTunes with my iPhone already unlocked, it crashes. How can I fix this?
Edit: Just plugged it in on a Windows machine, it works fine, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the phone.Rnady wrote:

Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -

SOLUTION:
Iam pointing t0 windows7 os.
1) go to control panel
2) open hardware and sound
3) In that open Devices and printers
4)In that u can find Apple Iphone.
5) now right click on this --> Hardware --> Properties --> General --> Uninstall --> ok.
6) now unplug and plug in ur iphone again.There u go u iphone name changes to its original name.I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -
When I sign into iCloud on iPhone the setting App Crashes
I sign into iCloud in setting on my iPhone. As soon as that happens, the setting App crashes. The same thing happens when I try to go to my mobile me email settings. The app Just crashes for no reason. How can native iPhone apps made by apple, crash when performing basic functions??? Is apple fixing this issue? I am not the only one complaining about this!
I figured it out, I had to delete all of my mail accounts from the iPhone and reinput them manually. But before that, I went into my iCloud setting and made sure everything worked and all my settings were on that I wanted on, then I added my other email accounts back on after.
I think it had something to do with the MobileMe account still having a presence within the settings and they conflicted with each other.
