Jabra Bluetooth Headset & iPhone

I have a Jabra Bluetooth headset that worked fine with my Sprint PCS Katana phone. I just got an iPhone yesterday. I go through the proper settings path and turn on bluetooth on the iPhone, it activates and reads "discoverable," but after several minutes still never found the headset. What can I do?
I also realize that I may have a difficult time locating any PIN for the headset (I bought it a year ago). Any solution for that?

As far as the pairing goes (from memory):
Turn headset off.
Press and hold power switch for a long time until the power light goes solid.
Use iPhone to pair.
(I believe PIN is 0000 or 9999)

  • Output different sounds to bluetooth headset + iPhone speakers at same time

Hi I have an iPhone 4 and a bluetooth motorola headset. I'm wondering if, during a call, I can output the audio from the phone call to the bluetooth headset, and output the audio from whatever game I'm playing from the speakers.
    Thanks.

    no

  • Nokia e65 and Jabra bluetooth headset

As a new user I am experiencing a problem, I have a Jabra BT 250 Bluetooth headset, old but trusted, it works fine but each time I want to connect to phone it will not automatically recognise so I have to connect manually - a real pain!

    Hi..
Thanks for the quick respond.  You are simply great! I was pretty mad at myself cos' I throw away the headset's instruction so that mean I throw away the paring code given but then I gave "0000" a try hoping it will work, and oh boy, it did!
Now the only thing is I discover the SE2300's volume control, forward/backward song and the pause feature work fine  but the only down side is once I pause the music using the SE2300, I can never get it to play again via the SE2300 as such I have to resort to pressing the "Play" button on my E71.
Is there a way to work around so that my SE2300 can pause and play?

  • Music stops playing after Bluetooth headset call

I have been using this setup since the days of iPhone 2G running v1 software. The problem has only occurred since I got my iPhone 3G running 2.0.
In my car I have a cassette adapter connected to the headphone jack and a Jabra bluetooth headset for voice calls.
I listen to a lot of podcasts in the car and music plays out happily through the car stereo. When a call comes in the music fades and I answer the call on the bluetooth headset. All works great. I then end the call and 8 of 10 times you'll hear a split second of the podcast and then it stops. The play icon disappears out of the status bar. I then have to go back in to the iPod and hit play.
I have also noticed sometimes when in the iPod app and music is playing, I hit the home button and the music will stop playing for a split second and then continue.
I have completely restored the iPhone on several occasions, sometimes even not restored the backup and started fresh. It has never gone away!
Is it the phone? Is it the bluetooth headset?
Any ideas would be gratefully received. I am happy to replace the BT headset if people think it will help but do not wish to buy one unnecessarily.

It's neither your specific phone nor your BT headset. It's a plain, old-fashioned bug.
You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.
    (there's a Bug Report category)
I have the same thing occur frequently with Apple's BT headset (it has persisted across two iPhones and two Apple BT headsets).

  • Connected bluetooth headset to Macbook, but no audio

Hey. I successfully connected my Jabra bluetooth headset to my Macbook. In System Preferences -> Sound, I selected the headset device for both my input and output. The input seems to work, but the output does not work at all. For output, it says "The selected device has no output controls," and I cannot hear sound through it. Any suggestions?

I figured it out, I think. I guess there was a particular application it did not work for. Oh well, seems to work on what I need it to work for.

  • Can't get Dlink DBT-122 to work with Bluetooth headset

I have seen the various posts on trying to get an external usb bluetooth adapter to work with a mobile bluetooth headset e.g. Jabra bluetooth headset.
I get the following error when trying to connect to the headset:
Failed to setup the headset. Headsets are not supported on your Bluetooth hardware.
When I try and use the bluetooth firmware updater i get the following error:
This computer does not have an Apple Bluetooth module installed. It cannot be updated by this application.
Please help and Thanks in advance

The firmware upgrade does not work with the DBT-122

  • Ios 6.1.4 Phone calls not working from Jabra EasyGo bluetooth headset

    I updated to 6.1.4 yesterday
I use Jabra EasyGo bluetooth headset.
Music streaming is fine with the headset.
Problem is it doesnt respond to any phone call or dial  commands.
Tried it on another friends iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.3 it works
Please help to solve as I depend on the bluetooth my work drives car a lot.

I don't think I can restore the back up from iCloud, because I did not back it up to iCloud before the update to OS 6.1.4.  I don't think this is related to voice samples because it seems to cut in and out, like Siri is not 'hearing' me, due to a problem with the microphone.
    Apple please help!

  • My Iphone 3G don't detect my Jabra BT2010 headset

I have a Jabra BT 2010 Bluetooth headset. When I turn on my bluetooth of my Iphone it don't detect my headset.
I've look on the website of Jabra and it says that the BT 2010 is compatable for the Iphone 3G but still it will not working.
    Can someone help me?

    Folks..
There was a post similar to this, but was lacking something that worked for me specifically. From the Apple site http://us.jawbone.com/pairingguide.aspx the following will pair the Jawbone (original at least) to the Iphone. I had similar problems with not being able to pair until I came across this:
    Apple iPhone
_*Set the Jawbone to Pairing Mode._*
For the Original Jawbone, press and hold down the Noise Shield button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red.
For the New Jawbone, press and hold down both the NoiseAssassin™ Button and the Talk Button for at least three seconds until the LED Indicator Light flashes red and white alternately.
From the iPhone Home screen, touch Settings.
    Touch General.
    Touch Bluetooth.
Turn Bluetooth on. (The iPhone will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.)
    Touch Jawbone on the list.
    Enter the PIN number "0000".
    Touch Connect.
The Jawbone should now be paired with the iPhone.
I hope this helps someone - it helped me.
Thanks to all who posted before me.

    please help/advice

    Hi Steven,
Is the headset discoverable? The manual for the bluetooth headset should show you how to make it discoverable.
Does the iPhone see the headset?
This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1838 will walk you through the process of pairing the iPhone with bluetooth headsets.

  • Jabra Halo stereo bluetooth headset skipping with IPAD...

Hi, does anybody here have ever used a Jabra Halo Bluetooth Headset with an IPAD or Iphone? I just recently bought this device and paired with my IPAD and iphone 3gs, and I'm very disappointed, sound quality is great, but the audio keeps skipping every once in awhile, very annoying especially if watching a video or listing to podcasts, perhaps there's a setting that I have missed? any advise would be very helpful, My firmware by the way is ios 4.2 thanks...

To be clear this is NOT an issue with Stereo Bluetooth headsets, it is a problem with the chipset in Apple's iPhone and iPad.
Prior to the iPhone 3 I had a T-Mobile Dash with stereo bluetooth and it worked beautifully. When I got the iPhone 3 the bluetooth was a disaster with skipping and dropping the connection.
I eventually went over to a Sprint EVO and the stereo bluetooth paired with my $300 Nokia noise canceling headphones was awe inspiring. I purchased an iPhone 4 and it arrived yesterday. Today I listened to those same headphones and got skipping and it even unpaired for no reason at all.
The issue with the iPhone 4 seems to be that when the screen is active there is no problem. However, when you lock the screen it starts skipping.
So, I just wanted to point out that stereo bluetooth has been broken on the iPhone for at least two generations and apparently on the iPad too which is extremely disappointing. It's not the headset mfg, its Apple.

  • New iphone compatible w Jabra JX10 headset?

I cannot pair my iphone with my Jabra JX10 headset. I have the Jabra in discoverable mode (solid blue light on). The Iphone recognizes it and the words "Jabra JX10" and "now discoverable" appear, but it never pairs. yet the Jabra pairs successfully with both my old motorola and my husband's LG.
    Any suggestions?

    Vicki,
Take the iPhone to an Apple retail store and have a Mac Genius take a look at it. The Genius will be able to test the headset with another iPhone or test your iPhone with an iPhone Bluetooth Headset.

  • IPhone 3GS Not Recognizing Bluetooth Headset

I am having no luck pairing my iPhone 3GS to my Jabra Jawbone bluetooth headset. The headset worked fine for the past couple of years with my original iPhone but is not recognized by my new iPhone.
I power up the headset and open Settings > General > Bluetooth and then select "On". What I would expect to see is my device show up, select it, and enter the passcode to pair the device to the phone. However, under "Devices" it just says "Searching" with the spinning graphic to the right. Any suggestions?

I'm an idiot...I was holding down the wrong button on my headset... If you find yourself with this problem, just make sure to google how to pair your particular headset and you should be fine.

  • Using Multiple Bluetooth Headsets With the iPhone

I have a jawbone 2 & blueant v1 bluetooth headsets both paired & working with my 3G iPhone but i dont know how to switch between them. anyone know about this?

I have to reply here. I just came over after a horrible three weeks on a new BlackBerry Bold. I've been a BB user for several years and, being a Mac user, have LOVED the way my wife's iPhone worked, especially connection and updating from her iBook.
So, when I finally gave up on the BB and got the 3G I expected some things to be the same. One of them being the way the BlackBerry would virtually 'float' between Bluetooth devices, almost seamlessly. It took a while to get it working, but finally got it.
I have a Jabra BT500 earpiece, BlueAnt ST3 speakerphone in my car, and a Motorola Bluetooth device that adds my iPhone to the cordless phone network in my home.
The trick is to PAIR EACH DEVICE as if it were the ONLY DEVICE CONNECTED. DO NOT UNPAIR the first device and move on to device #2. Enter the code, let it PAIR and move on to device #3 doing the same. Once you've done all of your devices, you simply move 'into the zone' of each one and they should connect.
The Jabra, obviously, had to be turned on, but paired immediately. The BlueAnt ST3 turns on when it senses movement in the car, i.e. opening the door, etc. Once it's on, it pairs immediately. When I get home and are out of my car, I place the iPhone near the Motorola device and my cell number is now part of my home cordless system.
If I look at the Bluetooth setup in the general prefs, it shows all three devices as being paired. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!! IT ALL WORKS!!!

  • Bluetooth headset for MacBook pro and iPhone

Is there a recommended Bluetooth headset I can pair with my iPhone and MacBook pro and do things like:
    iPhone:
    Take call
    Listening to music and podcasts
    MacBook Pro:
    Listening to music and podcast
    Skype calls
    Google Voice calls
    Face time
    YouTube
    Etc...
At the same time it would need at least 8 hours of talk and or play time battery.
Has somebody built such thing? If not we should do a kickstarter...
    Thank you for your recommendations

    Try to look at: http://www.jabra.com/
The ones compatible with the iPhone work with Skype too on a Mac, I don't know about other services.
    Bye

  • I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic.  And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4.  However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic.

I can record voice memos fine using the built-in iPhone 4 mic.  And my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone Era) works fine when I leave messages on voice mail systems etc. when calling on the iPhone 4, so it appears my headset mic is fine.  I can also use voice activated dialing, although it fails miserably interpreting numbers.  However, I cannot record voice memos with my Bluetooth mic.   I just get barely audible static.  Any suggestions?   Thanks.

Hello, did you ever get an answer to your question? I just picked up a Jawbone Era and using on an iPhone 4s running 5.0.1. Seems to work fine on regular calls, but not on the built in Voice memos application. It worked fine on my older Jawbone Icon, but haven't tested on the 4s or iOS 5.
    Thanks!
