James, remember what you told me about making the Magic Frame very very small so that any new additions I plonk into the big picture area of the entry page will not fall through and end up on the blog summary page? Well, I did what you said, and it worked. I experimented and now I make no mistakes because I understand all of the rules and know what NOT to do as well as what TO do. My first smooth slide on ice was with my Blog entry about the Sally Doll, who really is a human and whom they have converted into a doll.
I proceded with the blog entry about the controlling Millicent doll, but her head got lopped off in the Blog summary page. However, since I knew the concept of not letting the magic frame be large enough to be a portal, I solved that problem fast. Now the Millicent doll has a head on the blog summary page and I her in full dress on the blog entry page.

I think that as I increase my knowledge base I will learn better and faster, but here is a clue: After the song was made into a .mov file and after it had the pause/play icon installed on it, I followed the instruction about "Now put the movie on your iWeb page" by placing the radio box thingie on my page instead of the .mov file. In my head, "the movie" was in the radio box thingie.
But James caught it and didn't even laugh. Such restraint!

Your scary posts have put me off installing '08

I live in the UK and ordered iLife 08 the other day from the Apple store. Now after reading all these scary posts im not going to install it on any of my machines until there is an update posted by Apple.
Like most of you I have very important photo page sites that I have created for a client, who is amazed what I can produce in such a short timescale with Apple software and hardware - and because of this I have had thousands of pound of work from them. So as my sites work fine with the older version of iWeb I will not be upgrading as yet.
I find it unacceptable that we are unknowingly purchasing a "beta version" of tried and tested software, it makes the demo film look like a joke. Yes we will always find the odd bug in new software - but from what I have read here in the past few days, it seems much more than a few bugs!
Has anyone had success with the new version?

Strangely enough even though I had gotten the " Install failed....Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer....The install could not copy the necessary support files" I had left it on the screen and left the room for awhile. I walked back into my computer room a few minutes ago and the window on the screen stated that the SL OS 10.6.4 had successfully installed. I am now very carefully checking things out to make sure the fonts are where they should be. With the exception of some updating it appears all may be well.
PS. Below is a note I was writing to Kurt (also assisting me) to try and detail what had happened. Added it in case it could be of any value to you

Thank you for response. following is series of events to my best recollection.
I would typically not have been this stupid/ignorant but was doing this in a hurry with someone asking me questions...wasn't paying attn. to what I was doing
• downloaded new fonts
• opened downloaded fonts, clicked font icons to open and install them.
• typed "fonts" in spotlight (with the intention of moving new fonts into font folder)The Spotlight results window revealed 5 or 6 font folders. I ignorantly started to try a clean up by installing all fonts into a single folder (not thinking about system fonts)
Sometimes when you are moving a folder the window you moved it from will jump around..well this occurred and I mistakenly released the folder on the desk top. This caused a copy to be made. After some investigation I realized it was a copy of the required system fonts that were still located in the original "spotlight results" window.
• I attempted to delete the copy..when I did an administrator password box appeared I entered the password and the result was both system font folders were deleted (the original & the desk top copy I erroneously made)
• Now windows open but are blank with sometimes faded mini sized icons. If I click one of the mini icons i get a new blank window. I am unable to give any instruction, have total blank menus, dialog boxes, etc.

Problem with internet. When i open System preferences, Network, message drops down: 'your network settings have been changed by another application'. I click OK, but it drops a message again and again, preventing me to do anything about the setting.

com.apple.airport.preferences.plist

Do you have security software that might reset the search settings?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Your Azure credentials have not been set up or have expired

I realise this is a duplicate, but none of the suggested solutions are working.
I have used Add-AzureAccount to successfuly login to my account in a new powershell window. As soon as I try to perform any function I get the error message "Your Azure credentials have not been set up or have expired, please run Add-AzureAccount to setup
your Azure credentials."
I have run Remove-AzureAccount and Remove-AzureSubscription so that none are present and repeated adding my account with Add-AzureAccount. I've used Select-AzureSubscription to ensure I have an active subscription, but none of the steps prevent this error.
Please help.

The sending of email is handled by the SMTP server. Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Go to the account in question and check the SMTP server settings. In some places in the mail app, it says the username and password are optional. In actuality, it really isn't. If you cannot modify the settings and get it to work, then delete the account entirely and set it back up again, making sure to get the username and password correct in all areas.

Setting up Free Goods in CRM 5.0 Standalone

Dear Friends,
We are trying to set up Free Goods in our CRM 5.0 standalone environment. What we want to realize is that, if customer buys product A, product B will be added to the order automatically as free of charge. So far we have no idea how to get this set up in the system.
In R/3 you can specify 'requirement' in each condition type. In the 'requirement' section you can add a small ABAP program that might realize the functionality. However, it doesn't seem to be the case in CRM.

CRM Standalone condition records maintain from the Transaction code
/SAPCND/GCM - Condition Maintenance, after entering this code give the Application CRM than select your Free goods condition type maintain the values.
Relationship maintains in the condition records only, Once you select the Free godds conditin type than all required coloumns will pop up enter your product and Qty with the offered free goods product.

Instructions for setting WRT54GS security to WPA2? Can't find them anywhere.

I'm an amateur at this, so please excuse this load of ignorant questions.
I have 2 PC clients, both Dell Dimensions 3.2GHz 1GB RAM, Wireless-G adapters. OS is Windows XP SP2
The router is a Linksys WRT54GS. I'm using the wireless ports only, at least when I'm not modifying the security settings. Then I use a temporary cable to connect one of the PC's to the router.
I also have a TiVo DVR series 3 with a wireless adapter.
The router came with a copy of Linksys Advisor. When I ran this software I was able to set the security level to WPA-Personal. However I could find no option to set the level to WPA2.
I know the TiVo supports WPA2 because I saw the option when I was configuring it for WPA-personal.
My question(s):
Why doesn't EasyLink Advisor have an option to set the security level to WPA2? Is it just deficient, or does it check to see if the client PCs support WPA2 and disable the option if they don't?
How would I go about checking if my PCs support WPA2?
Finally, if I have to set the security to WPA2 manually, what is the procedure for doing this?
It's pretty easy to see how this can be done on the router's little web server pages; but as soon as I set the security to WPA2 there, I'm going to lose wireless connections to the PCs and I won't be able to access the router.
I know I can get there via a cable connection, but then what do I do? How do I set up my clients for WPA2?
What's a real pain about all this is that the EasyLink Advisor gives hints on how to optimize performance on secured wireless systems. It advises going to WPA2! But its Wizard doesn't give the option to do that. Its offline help file is minimal - it just says "use the wizard" and that's it.
The online help describes how to manually configure WPA but not WPA2. And the instructions for WPA are incomplete. They explain how to set up the router, but then do not explain how to use the enccryption keys when reconnecting client PCs. They just say to select the SSID in the wireless icon's connect menu, then click on connect. Where does the key go?

First of all, Windows XP SP2 can do WPA2, however it requires a patch.   Go to Microsoft Knowledge base, article ID=917021 and it will direct you to the patch.
Sadly, the patch is not part of the automatic Windows XP updates, so lots of people are missing the patch.
Additionally, be sure to give your network a unique SSID. Do not use "linksys". If you are using "linksys" you may be trying to connect to your neighbor's router. Also set "SSID Broadcast" to "enabled". This will help your computer find and lock on to your router's signal.
As to why EasyLink Advisor works the way it does - I just don't know.
To setup WPA2, you will first need to patch Windows XP, then, using a computer that is wired to the router, go into the router and change the encryption to "WPA2 - personal" with "AES". Reboot modem and router. You are correct that you will now loose your wireless connections until you update the settings in your wireless devices.
Next go into your computers and likewise change the encryption to "WPA2 - personal"  (= WPA2 = PSK2 ).   (Note: You do not necesarily need to specify "AES" in your computers (or Tivo), but if you are given a choice between TKIP and AES, choose AES.)
To find these settings for your computers, go to the wireless software in your computer, and go to "Preferred Networks"  (sometimes called "Profiles" ). There are probably a few networks listed. Delete any network named "linksys". Also delete any network that you do not recognize, or that you no longer use. Delete your current network (this will clear any old settings). Reboot computer. Return to "Preferred Networks" and enter your network info (SSID, encryption, and key). Then select your current network and make it your default network, and set it to automatic login. You may need to go to "settings" to do this, or you may need to right click on your network and select "Properties" or "settings". Reboot computer.
You will need to check the Tivo manual for how to change the Tivo to WPA2.

You have to be 13yrs. of age or older to have an iTunes account. So, if you want your daughter to have her own account, what you need to do is create another Apple ID for yourself. You can create one here:

Must be a verified email address...you can get a free Gmail account first. Then, when setting up the iTunes account, redeem an itunes gift card rather than using a credit card. That way, she'll have her own account, which you can monitor, but its not associated with any credit card.
