Japanese-English SAP terms dictionary

Do any of you maintain some sort of SAP English-Japanese  terms dictionary?
Does SAP provide this?
We are working on Japanese documents and find it difficult to map it to standard SAP terms so we have difficulties in understanding.
Some thing like Sales Area, Purchasing Organization should have their counterpart in Japanese.
Thanks

Hi,
Not sure if SAP has this or not but you can try translator from google.com

  • Oracle indexes that are missing in the SAP Data Dictionary

We have an old SAP SAP system we just shut down, but Oracle is still up.
I am trying to put together a query using DBA_INDEXES and a SAP Data dictionary table, that will show me what tables are in Oracle and not in the SAP data dictionary.
I cannot bring up SAP, but database is still up.

    Hi Bill,
Table DD12L contains the definition of the SECONDARY indexes.
Watch it, indexes may be concatenated to table with ^ or ~ or severel
_ chars so an index 3 for a table might be named
    table~3
    table^3
    table_____3
depending on what upgrade History the system has.
For primary indexes, you should ensure, that every table has an index
    with suffix 0 as in
    table~0
    table^0
    table_____0
    Hope this helps

  • Need an English-to-Bengali dictionary

Hi all I am new to this community. I am a student from Bangladesh and currently studying in England. During my studies, I come across various words in English that I am not familiar with and require a Bengali dictionary to help me understand those words. As you know, there aren't any English-to-Bengali dictionary out there, and so in this regard people like me are stuck whenever I come across those difficult and hard to understand words in English. I don't know, why a language, being the fifth largest spoken language in the world, has no support from the developers. Many people from Bangladesh (and people like me living or studying abroad) are now owning a macbook or own a macbook already and I believe an English-to-Bengali dictionary (or a downloadable extension to the current dictionary app) should be made available to the macbook for Bengali speaking users. Apple has listened to us in providing Bengali keyboard as an option in their latest software update. Hopefully they will listen to our request this time around as well. Thank you...

For Apple to see your request, best repeat it at

  • SAP terms English and French ?

    Hello,
We're now working on a system which use French , We met some difficulties in getting familiar with the terms in french .. because we've worked mostly in english, so is there any way or programme that will download the terms in french and its correspondant in english into a file so that we can have a look more quickly instead of loggin into 2 languages the same time.
    For example :
    English -
    French
    Material     -
         Article
    Contract    -
    Contrat
    Thanks in advance

Hi, there is a standard SAP transaction SE63 'Standard Translation Environment'. Using this transaction you can maintain a lot of translations. For text SO10 you have to maintain the translations by hand. Succes

  • Is there a way for the basic ENGLISH spell check dictionary to auto update? Its really annoying to have to update the spellcheck dictionary everytime FF updates

Every time FF updates, it forces me to download and install the spell check dictionary for English. It makes me just choose to use another browser since more often than not its opening facebook and I like spell check when I use fb. Is there any solution?

What Firefox locale do you use?
Is that the en-US version or another locale like the French locale?
You shouldn't lose installed dictionaries and other installed extensions when you update Firefox unless you would reset Firefox or a new profile got created for other reasons like problem with the profiles.ini file.
Are there otherwise problems with updating that you notice?
Note that in case you do not need all four French dictionaries then you can remove others and only keep the ones you need.
You can find the dictionary files in the dictionaries folder of the extension in the extensions folder in the Firefox profile folder or possibly in the Firefox program folder if you use a French Firefox locale (don't know if that locale includes a dictionary).
    *[email protected]
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

  • ILife 08 language support - Japanese / English

I live in Japan, but am a native English speaker. I had to purchase iLife 08 from the Japanese web site (Apple Store) and the DVD is all in Japanese. If I open it can I install the iLife 08 software in English? I don't want to open it unless I am sure so I will be able to return it if necessary. Thanks in advance.
    David

I bought mine yesterday in Ginza. Don't worry about the packaging or the box. As Tom wrote above, "iLife is multilingual. When it is installed, it displays in whatever language your system" - so just insert the disk and choose English and the UI will be in English. After the software is installed you can easily switch to Japanese if you want (my wife uses Nihongo on her account I created on the iMac so her UI is in Japanese - but even then on my English UI account, I can mix typewritten text in Japanese easily as well - that is the beauty of Apple).
One comment though - if you've ever used iMovie HD 6.0 you'll be very disappointed in iMovie '08 - it *****. So be prepared - you've been warned. Just check out the threads is this Discussion. Read on.

  • Crystal Reports - Tables Missing from the List Within SAP Data Dictionary

We have installed the Integration Kit and would like to create reports in Crystal Reports 2008 based on some transparent tables (BKPF being one) in our ECC 6.0 box. Using the standard Data Source 'SAP Table, Custer, or Function' we are able to connect to our ECC system and generate a list of tables within the data dictionary. However, we are missing quite a few tables such as BKPF and VBAK (tables we can see include EBKN and EBKZ).
We ran a trace on the system (ST01) but have not found any authorization failures for the assigned account (nor do any errors or issues show up in any of the work process trace logs).
Has anyone experience anything similar? Helpful pointers to helpful info is much appreciated (we do have all the install and user docs).
    Thanks!

    Hi Joe,
    try the following:
    - right click on the connection entry
    - select the item options
    - there is on the right hand a box that allows you to enter filter values. example SFL% will show all tables starting with SFL
    - enter a filter and hit OK
    - right click again
    - select refresh.
most likely it is just the amount of tables coming back

  • American English not a dictionary option?!

    Hi
I'm new to iWork and trying to do simple things. But I can't find American English as an option for the dictionary! I am a Brit in France producing a big document for an American audience. So ideally I want British English as my default on the computer but American English for iPages (or at least for this document). Can anyone help?

In Inspector > Text > More > Language you need to set it to English.

  • Wrong English spell-checking dictionary

So I didn’t install the OS on my new MacBook Pro and it has the wrong spell-checking dictionary - ie US-English and not English-English. I have no idea why. How do I sort this so I can labour and not labor, colour and not color?
And while I’m at it, can I move the user dictionary from my old PB [OS 10.4.11] to this 10.5.8 machine?

    Tom Gewecke wrote:
Go to system prefs/international/languages and move British English to the top of the list (use the Edit button if necessary).
Yeah. It was the first place I looked. The /languages says ‘English’ - not British-English or US-English. Just ‘English’. There are no options.
Also you can select British English in Edit > Spelling for each app (Inspector > Text > More > Language in Pages).

  • What SAP terms are not well understood?

Iu2019m a U.S.-based writer helping a vendor in the SAP space with some writing projects, one of which involves helping to clarify new or misunderstood terms related to the SAP universe. So Iu2019m looking for ideas on what to tackle. If thereu2019s a term, concept or even new product that is somehow related to SAP that you would like to see clarified, please let me know. Alternatively, if you have ideas for terms that you think are ripe for clarification u2013 perhaps those that are often misconstrued - Iu2019d love to hear about those, too. I'm looking to appeal mostly to a U.S. audience, although Europe is fair game, too.  Thanks in advance.

FYI: SDN ponits are not applicable to this forum, but the system still sends silly messages about them as a legacy feature.
Is it safe to click on your link?
I see you have a lot of <removed_by_moderator> spam on it and did not mention my request to solve the biggest bla-bla-bla misunderstanding of all times. (Su53) I am very disappointed!
