Jar launcher doesn't launch Forge universal.jar

I have been using the Forge Mod Loader for a long time, there had been a update so that it is fitted into Minecraft 1.7.10. The thing is, I deleted my previous FML and got the new one, it doesn't open! It keeps on giving me a message saying that The Java JAR file "forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1230-universal.jar" could not be launched, please check the console for possible error messages. I have been looking at videos, and posts, it doesn't work. I got java 8, it didn't work, I got java 7, it didn't work too. If any apps could help you in your research, plz tell me what i am suppose to do. My mac has been 5 years old already so its very old.
MacBook Pro OS X: version 10.9.5
I upgraded it to lion already.

Oracle Forms and Reports 11.1.2.0.0 is not supported with Java JDK 7 according to the Oracle Support certification matrix: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/oracle-forms-11gr2certmatrix-519680.xls
Is there is a specific reason why you are using version 11.1.2.0.0 specifically? If you are looking for the latest version of Oracle Forms and Reports 11gR2 (whether you are working with Forms, Reports, or both), there is version 11.1.2.1.0, which is the latest version available and contains the latest patch fixes. You may find the download at Oracle's website: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/index.html
You may use JDK 7u45 with Forms/Reports 11.1.2.1.0 as it is supported by the Oracle Support certification matrix for 11.1.2.1.0: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/oracle-forms-111210certmatrix-1886127.xls
Also, you can still use WebLogic 10.3.6 as it is supported with Forms and Reports 11.1.2.1.0.
NOTE: When starting the setup.exe for installing Forms and Reports 11gR2, I would strongly recommend to right-click on setup.exe and select "Run as administrator". You will need to have administrative privileges to install the software.

  • Desktop ethernet doesn't work with university wall connection

    I was using my desktop at my house prior to moving to college this year and its ethernet connection worked fine. When I plugged in to the wall in my student housing apartment, it won't connect. iwconfig says eth0 no wireless extensions. I tried to run ifcfg eth0 up but it says some host already uses up on eth0. It's really bizarre because nothing has changed; it worked at home and now plugging into an ethernet cable doesn't work. It does work when I plug it into my laptop running windows so I know the internet provider and router are working.

    iwconfig is correct, isn't it? eth0 is a wired connection as you explain it so iWconfig won't be much help. You may find it helpful to review https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … he_network.
    Do the same settings work at home and at school for your laptop?
    If this is a university set up, is your laptop registered but not your desktop, for example? Most university networks don't allow you to just plug in and have it work - they only recognise registered machines.
    Otherwise, you'll have to give a lot more information if you want help e.g. what sort of connection you're using, security, how you're trying to configure it, exact error messages, logs...

  • IPhone doesn't work with Universal Dock remote?

    Hello,
    I received an Apple Universal Dock with remote for Christmas, and I'm pretty sure I remember it and the remote working just fine with my iPhone when I first set it up. Today, I tried using it again, and found that I can't use the Universal Dock's remote for anything other than controlling the volume, and even though I can raise or lower the volume with the remote, the volume change is not reflected on my iPhone's screen - the iPhone's ipod volume indicator doesn't move.
    The Universal Dock and remote work just fine with my wife's second generation nano, and the iPhone works without any problems when docked into a Logitech mm50 speaker system - the mm50's remote is able to jump forward and backwards through songs, pause, play, etc. The problem seems limited to the combination of my iPhone and the Universal Dock and remote.
    Is this normal? According to the Universal Dock's package and documentation, it is compatible with the iPhone and doesn't mention anything about the remote having limited capabilities when used with the iPhone.
    If this isn't normal, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
    thanks in advance and best regards,
    tom

    i just bought this dock as a car dock. I have it hooked up to power 12v and output to 1/8 into head unit. Now, I have to be in iTunes music to get it to work and it only allows volume, playing of files in a playlist and to next song. Are any of you guys having issues with VERY limited use of the remote and lack of really a benefit from using a remote because you have to touch it anyways to change through songs or video??? Are you guys wondering why you even bought it if the remote is not supported as a functional addition?

  • Named set in cube doesn't appear in Universe

    I have several named sets in my cube that do not show up in the universe.  How can I get them to show up in the universe?  They contain a value for Yesterday which I need to use as a filter.  Is there a better way to create a filter for "yesterday"?

    Thank you for the info.
    Can you help with the problem of creating a "yesterday" (or other date) filter?  I saw the thread "MDX syntax for current year in a Pre-defined condition"  in which you suggest using
    <EXPRESSION>
    IIF([Time Accounting].[Accounting Year.].CurrentMember.Properties("Name") = [Time Accounting].[Accounting Year.].CurrentMember.Properties("Current Year"), 1, 0)
    </EXPRESSION>
    to get the current year.  Could you elaborate on how to do that?  Do you put the expression in the filter like this?
    <FILTER KEY="[Date].[Date]">
        <CONDITION OPERATORCONDITION="Equal">
           <CONSTANT CAPTION=<EXPRESSION>
            IIF([Date].[Date].CurrentMember.Properties("Name") = [Date].[Fiscal Hierarchy].CurrentMember.Properties("Yesterday"), 1, 0)
          </EXPRESSION>/>
        </CONDITION>
    </FILTER>
    Please give me more details on l how to do this.  I'm new to the Business Objects OLAP Universe and more of a report developer than a programmer.

  • Remote doesn't work with Universal Docking Station

    Hi
    I have an iPod nano 3rd gen. Whilst in the dock the remote doesn't work at all until I select some music manually using the nano controls. Then I get a response. This is the second docking station from Apple.
    Surely it has been designed to work with the remote as soon as it has been docked to enable scrolling through the menus? There are archived discussions from years ago about the same problem and no solutions! It appears that this product is known to be defective by Apple yet they do nothing and when you call them they act as if the problem doesn't exist. They appear to be selling products that don't work and then do nothing about it.

  • Oracle Universal Installer  not launching

    Hello all,
    I have been facing a strange issue. I am trying to run Oracle Universal Installer in Aix5.3 platform to upgrade db patchset but for some reason it does not come up. I am trying to launch it through VNC session using vncviewer. Whenever i run runInstaller as ora<sid> user ...it just takes long time and nothing happens. The message i get is:
    All installer requirements met:
    Preparing to launch Oracle Universal Installer from /tmp/OraInstall...........Please Wait .....<hostname>:ora<sid>.....
    This is all i get  but OUI doesnt not come up.. can anyone please tell me what seems to be the issue?
    thanks

    Hi,
    This problem frequently occurs because of the wrong DISPLAY settings. Please perform the steps on a X-term terminal screen;
    1) under root user
    2) xhost +
    3) su - ora<sid>
    4) echo $DISPLAY
    5) setenv DISPLAY <client ip>:(result of echo $DISPLAY) (for example setenv  DISPLAY 192.168.1.100:0.0)
    6) xclock (test X-Client)
    If it works then you will be able to run "./runInstaller", for example
    cd /oracle/stage/102_64/database/Disk1/SAP
    ./RUNINSTALLER
    You can check the [installation guide|https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000359232008E], also. Search for "4.4.3 Running the Oracle Universal Installer" title and read the details,

  • Troubles installing/launching URM

    Hello, first of all - i'm sorry for my noob questions and bad English
    My main goal is setup and launch Oracle Universal Record Mangement. According to setup guides, I've done next steps
    1. installed Oracle DB, made repository for ECM with RCU
    2. installed Oracle weblogic
    3. installed Oracle Enterprise Content Management
    4. configure weblogic with creating new domain including URM. Also I created new machine for admin and urm servers. Admin server starts without any questions ands runs well, but I don't know how to launch URM... It starts, listens 16300 port, but I don't know what to do with it.. localhost:16300 shows me 404 error and I see failures in Deployments section against all lines.
    I'm new in Oracle technologies and I think I missed something very easy, but I can't find out what exactly

    Here are the steps for starting URM.
    1.Use RCU to create the schema for URM.This will create a database user as well.
    2.Now, install Weblogic server and ECM suite.Choose to install URM while installing ECM suite.
    3.Use the database user created in step1 for configuring URM while installing.
    4.After installation is successful,start the URM managed server.This should start the URM as well.
    5.login using http://localhost:16300/urm/
    In the above,/urm/ is defined while installing URM.It can be anything you define during installation.
    Thanks

  • OUI doesn't start!!!

    Hi
    I'm trying to install Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.2) on Windows Server 2003.
    When I run the setup.exe file, the Oracle Universal Installer runs in a command window, then it starts to check the installer requirements, and all requirements are passed. I get the message "All installer requirements met.".
    After that, it displays the message "Preparing to launch Oracle Universal Installer from %TEMP%\OraInstallTimeStamp. Please wait ..."
    Then this window is closed and the Java OUI doesn't start.
    I had tried to install on a machine with Windows 2003 and another one with Windows 2000, and the installation started in both cases.
    Please I want to know, what could block the OUI and prevent it to start?

    That's it.
    I was installing from a long-path location with spaces. And when I strated the installation from a short-path location and remove all spaces of the path, the OUI started the installation.
    Thank you for reply.

    Can someone help kick off the OUI installer. Our customer if getting impatient in not getting it to run. Any help appreicaited
    Thanks

    Thanks for the replies...
    FYI.
    I have cloned an Oracle 9i database on a DR test server.
    Now I am installing Oracle Application server 10g Forms and Reports (9.0.4) on Solaris 5.10
    This is using a Oracle CD which is for Solaris 5.9 but using twp patches supplied by oracle to run the CD from. So it is able to run on Solaris 5.10. It has been done before but by some past DBA some 5 years ago. This is the first time I am attempting this being a new employee here.
    I have implemented these suggestions.
    Especially the fact that it was looking for a gunzip utuility which it couldn't find. To make it easirer Ij ust copied the gunzip utility to the place it was looking for, and renamed it unzip. As it was loooking for unzip
    This worked and passed through.
    Created the temp temp directory as welll so it would not have issues in not writting to the tmp directory.
    The error I'm getting is below
    bash-3.2$ pwd
    /data02/FMSinvoice/appsFR904/INSTALL/ForSolaris5_10/4494701
    bash-3.2$ /data02/FMSinvoice/appsFR904/INSTALL/SOLARIS/RUNINSTA -paramFile /data02/FMSinvoice/appsFR904/INSTALL/ForSolaris5_10/4494701/ORAPARAM.INI

  • Universal Installer Error during Product Prerequisite checks

    Hello everyone !
    First to say, I'm a newbie with Linux. So please be kind with me.
    I'm trying to install Oracle Database 10gR2 on my newly installed redhat 5 enterprise linux client release 5.2 .
    After solving some issues with missing packets I'm now confronted with a new problem after having successfully launched Oracle Universal Installer. OUI tells me, that "Oracle Database 10g is not certified on the current operating system". More precise :
    Checking operating system requirements ...
    Expected result: One of redhat-3,redhat-4,SuSE-9,asianux-1,asianux-2
    Actual Result: redhat-Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.2 (Tikanaga)
    Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Failed <<<<
    Can anyone help ?
    Best regards,
    Wesam

    Oracle 10gR2 is not certified on EL5 when it was released.
    you can run
    runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
    also check these metalink doc

  • Ipod Classic 80gb won´t work with apple universal dock and remote

    I own 2 ipods a 5th generation 60gb and an ipod classic 60gb. I've just bought an apple universal dock with remote and the original apple component and composite AV cables. I connected the universal dock to my TV via the composite cable, with my ipod 5th gen I can watch videos on the TV and control the ipod with the apple remote but when I connect my ipod classic to the universal dock it will charge but I can´t get any video out or control the ipod with the remote. It's as if the ipod classic doesn't recognize the universal dock and it keeps showing the connect the video accessory screen, even when i tried using the apple component AV cable. I dont think the problem is with the universal dock because it works fine with my Ipod video 60gb, but with my Ipod Classic 80gb the remote control and video out won't work at all, i can´t even control the playback of audio playlists. Does anyone know why that is happenning? Please help me!

    I have the Classic 80gb also...same probem. I retuned the Apple Universal Dock and purchased one that was half the price. Pluged it in and it works perfectly! So my advice would be to save some money and get products that work.
