  • JAXB 1.0 release date?

According to the JAXB web site, http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxb/index.html:
"JAXB 1.0 will be available as an optional package for the Java(TM) 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE(tm)). JAXB may be included in future releases of J2SE or the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)."
Does anyone know the scheduled release date of the JAXB 1.0 optional package, or if the release date will be around the same time as the J2SE 1.4 scheduled release?

  • The release dates for some ablums are incorrect.

Some of the albums in iTunes have the wrong release dates posted. See tag, this album just came out in 2011.

    Bri,
Suggest you just download 1.6 and take a quick run through the tutorials http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/ to pickup the basics again... you'll probably need a bit of a refresher course anyway if you're going back into coding for a living.
But what you've really missed is the standard hugemungious leaps in the open source libraries over the past few years.
I don't think the release notes are really worth reading, unless you're being paid to do it of course.

  • Is Java FX 2.0 final releasing today or was it delayed?

    Hi!
I was a huge fan of Swing.Despite others saying it's old, deprecated I really enjoyed and still, If I'd start a desktop application would use Swing (+ Substance LAF and of course the new features of Swing in Java 7).When Java FX released (version 1.3 I think) i denied it because of the scripting language.
Just said no and go straight to Apache Pivot. But when I heard the the entire API is going to be available in Java I reconsider it.Without boring you, Oracle said it will release it in Q3 . Isn't it that the end of September, why isn't it out yet? Also if you know when it will be released please tell me so.
    Thanx!

If it's so it's a bit sad.Oracle stated from last year the the release date will be Q3 and now he doesn't respect this?Well next time Oracle at least be smart and adopt the Blizzard's style:"when it's done" and don't post false release dates. Also I don't care about JavaOne(because I'm not so interesting about Java EE,etc) so I don't think it's nice for them to prolong the release of JavaFX until then.I might as well return to pivot since Oracle's sleeping on itself...

I want to know the release date of JDK1.4.0.

  • Release Dates for JDK versions

Gettting back into the tech world after a hiatus. Trying to figure out how much catching up I have to do. I'm trying to figure out the release dates for the various JDK's so I can pick up on where I left off - it was somewhere between 1.2 and 1.4 I'm sure. The release notes and so on are very inconsistent about listing release dates. Any help out there on where to look?

  • Release date JDK 1.4

    Hi,
I wondered if there was an planned official release date for the JDK1.4.
Some of our management are very weary of using a "beta" version and I also believe that the redistribution licence is different for the "beta" versions.
    Thank you
    /Andrew

Although there is no official release date for this version, in a recent Java Live chat session (http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/community/chat/JavaLive/2001/jl0925.html)
Sherman Dickman, product manager at SUN, was asked about the release of 1.4 as a product and replied The first Release Candidate will ship at the beginning of 2002, and the Final Product will ship in the first quarter of 2002.
The Release Candidate is now out so I guess the full release is due out in the next 2+bit months

  • JDK 1.6 Update Release Dates

I need to work out what the release dates were for the updates to JDK 1.6. I am having problems with a supplier who is telling me they are using the latest version of the JDK that was available when development started. I know when 1.6.0 was released from a Sun press release. I cant see a way of working out when the updates were released.
I want to complete the following table; any help would be greatly appreciated. I thought it would be easy, or maybe I am just being a little slow
    1.6.0_07
    1.6.0_06
    1.6.0_05
    1.6.0_04
    1.6.0_03
    1.6.0_02
    1.6.0_01
    1.6.0 11/12/2006

    Pako,
the current branch (internally) will be certified with Java 6. So its good to know TP4 works with Java 6, its the production version that actually is QA tested on it

  • Release Date for IdM 7.2 SP10?

In Nov. 2014, the PAM (Click Here) had the IdM 7.2 SP10 release date Q1 2015.  Today, SAP doesn't offer any window on when IdM 7.2 SP10 will be released.
Our plans where to install IdM 7.2 SP100 with NW AS Java 7.4 in our development environment by now.  Per SAP note 2036858, we must update to SP9 or SP10 before upgrading to IdM 8.0.  Unfortunately, we are on an earlier patch version on IdM 7.2 SP8 right now.
    Questions:
    1. When will 7.2 SP10 be released? We are wanting to go with SP10 if SAP will be releasing it soon to stay on the latest version for SAP support reasons.
    2. NW AS Java 7.4 will only work with SP10?  Has anyone attempted it with SP9? We are wanting to move to NW AS Java 7.4 as all of our other SAP systems are on this version of NW AS Java version.

    HI Jon,
we are planning the SP10 in the summer 2015.The main deliverable will be some specific UI improvements requested by customers and some bugfixes. SP9 also works with NW7.4 as stated in the PAM
    https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/support/pam/pam.html?smpsrv=https%3A%2F%2Fwebsmp203.sap-ag.de#pvnr=012…
If you do not need those specific UIs you still have the migration path from 7.2 SP9 to IDM 8.0.
Also you can make the upgrade to 8.0 from 7.2 SP8 in one upgrade project in 2 steps:
    step 1 - go to SP9
    step 2 - upgrade to IDM 8.0
    Best wishes,

  • JVM Versions - Release Dates

    Hi,
This is not entirely on topic, but its about the most appropriate forum I could find!
I am looking for information on the exact release dates (to the day) for previous versions of Java, up to and including 1.5.0_u14. Can anyone point me to an authorative (preferable a Sun official page) source of this information? I have tried searching the Sun site but can't find this information.
    Regards,
    Adrian

Google - wow what a great tool - thanks for the tip.
I am looking for dates for releases including minor versions, up to 1.5.0_u14 as I said in my post. I have searched of the Sun site using both the internal Sun search tool and also Google, but can't find readily this info. Hence my post to the forum.
If anyone has any idea where I might find this information, that would be great.
