Java 7 problem for 10.8.3 mac
I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Java 7 for 10.8.3 mac and still will not work says missing plug in then prompts me to download Java again
If JavaAppletPlugin.plugin, version Java 7 Update 17 resides in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins, then Java 7's installed. To check the Java 7 JRE version in the Terminal, run:
/Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java -version
On my machine, I get:
java version "1.7.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_17-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)

Due to which cannot access Applet class (which is inside UploadDownloadAppletJava.jar) and operation is failed.
(It works perfectly fine on Windows XP with both IE 6 and Firefox browsers).
On MAC I'm testing on FireFox.

@loader_path problem for photoshop plugin on Mac
Hi experts,
One of my photoshop plugin (a file format plugin) depends on Qt, so I add the libQtCore.4.dylib and libQtGui.4.dylib in the same folder of my binary in my bundle ( that is '/Contents/MacOS' ), and reference them as @loader_path in my plugin.
My plugin is a universal binary. it works all fine with the 64bit photosho , but the problem is in 32bit of photosho, when I click the 'About' to display my about dialog and then click open to open my file, photoshop said 'Out of RAM'. This problem doesn't happen if I click open first and then about.
I tried to put the Qt libraries in the /usr/local/bin, and referece them in my plugin with full path, (that is /usr/local/bin/libQt**), all things are all right, So I'm wordering if there is some problem with the plugin loading with the '@loader_path‘ reference.
Any help will appreciate.

Internet problems for a first time Mac user
I recently got a ibook G3, it was a refurb but works great. It had some updates early this morning which was fine but after I restarted airport says it's connected to my 2wire modem but safari can't find my server. I tried everything I know but I'm new to a mac! Does anyone know what the problem might be? Btw how do I find out what OS I have?

Have you tried resetting the modem?
To determine which version of the software is installed, click on the Apple logo at the upper left of the display, and select "About This Mac" from the drop-down menu. Directly under the "Mac OS X" title, it should tell you which version you're running. -
Java script problem for enabling & disabling textboxeswhencheckbox is check

the checkboxes are generating in a for loop.beside the checkboxes
the textboxes are akso generating.
suppose
checkboxes per amount

here there are 4 checkboxes generating in a loop.
also 4 textboxes of per generating in one loop
4 text boxes of amount generating in one loop
the tapw textfirld is an individual one and it is having the text box name as 'tapw'
here the condition is if i check the check box the textboxes behind them should be enabled ,otherwise disabled.
that is coming.
but i also want that tapw should be enabled if the checkbox behind the TAPW is checked.
here one important thing is the TAPW can't be always in 2nd position
first if the person doesn't check the nssf,it may be in 1st position or it may be in 3rd position like that.
but that tapw textbox (individual)will always be generated besides the TAPW textbox.
can u tell me how to identify that one and how i can get enable if that checkbox is checked.hioooooo,

Java update 1 for MAC OS 10.6 caused problems
Hello,
Today I installed the new java update 1 for Mac OS 10.6 and my eclipse is no longer working.
Actually, the eclipse itself is starting up okay, the problem is when I try to startup jboss AS to start working I get the following error:
ERROR: This jdwp native library will not work with this VM's version of JVMTI (1.0.36), it needs JVMTI 1.1[.102].
This happened right after I installed the update.
To make things more complicated, my workspace in eclipse is set to compile/deploy with a JDK 5 installation I have. Since the update was supposed to only affect the JDK 6 that comes with Snow Leopard, and I'm not using it to run JBoss AS in eclipse, in theory there shouldn't be any problem.
The eclipse itself is running on JDK 6, however.
Anyone have a clue? Unfortunately I'm not using time machine and cannot revert the update.I updated my Snow Leopard on Friday 4th, and since that moment i can't run MyEclipse 7.5, and i get this message:

SAPGUI Java 6.40r6 for OS X on Intel Mac - no good

just received our first iMac with Intel inside. installed all our standard applications to find out if they all work. well, they do, except SAP.
when opening the latest SAPGUI for Java 6.40rev6 for OS X I get the error:
Cannot load shared library 'JPlatin' or some dependent library: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no JPlatin in java.library.path
i can click ok, the sap logon window appears but i can not connect. When looking at the console i see a lot of errors reported.
anything i can do to get this working or is a "mac os x intel-version" of the client on the way already?

JürgThe SAPgui for Java uses <b>JNI</b> (Java Native Interface, see <a href="http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/jni/">http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/jni/</a>) to call code written in C or C++. On an Intel-based Mac, the libraries called via <b>JNI</b> need to be compiled for the Intel processor - libraries compiled for the PowerPC processor are not handled by Rosetta. I recently purchase an ipad2. I also have a mac laptop. Now, when I facetime call using my iphone to my ipad2 or mac, it states busy. how can i fix this problem? I have the same apple id e mail for both ipad2 and mac. it might be getting confuse now. I look it up and seems like ther are few that have this problem. I called walmart coz I bought it there and they told me that they have not heard that before but if I can't fix it, just return it and exchange it with anew one since I have 14 days to do that. I tried rebooting it and still won't work. Should I just restore it?

You are right, Adobe does not support CS5 because it is no longer sold.
Simply download the trial version of CS5 from this Adobe web site and input your serial number.

I called Apple technical support in Denmark, but with no positive reply.
She couldn't do anything, and said that They had sent a recall Email about the problem and with their offer to repair the Macbook Pro, but I'd never recieved an Email about the problem. She wasn't in power to make an exception. It can't be true that i paid a lot of money, for a product that can't barely stand on its own feets, Apple didn't tell me that the product I was about to buy, would restart every 5 minute. and now when they know the problem, they wont repair it? it just don't make sense for me. If a car seller discovers that all the brakes in a car he had sold, will crash after some years he will call all the cars back to repair no mater what. i just don't understand how Apple will make good service for their custumers, by extending the warranty from 2 to 3 years, but wont take the computers there is a little bit to old, 4 months will make the difference. i can't believe it.
What can i do now?

my iMac keeps typing a minus sign. I switched my wireless keyboard for a plug in Windows keyboard, and it keeps typing this one character. I took the batteries out of the Mac keyboard, so that is not the problem. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8. In parallels, I don't have any problem, just on the Mac platform.

Upgrading OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) to 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion) is not an update. It is a paid upgrade. Just as with 10.7 (Lion) you must purchase it from the App Store with yor Apple ID and install it after backing up your current computer state for safety.

UPDATE: Never mind. If you go to the download page for Java update 16, it appears that it has been silently updated. Although there isn't any indication of the fact that it has been fixed, the build number is different (20.51-b01-457 instead of -456). -
I’ve tried to login to the XMF for my company to send artwork to a printer on both Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116, Safari Version 7.0.3 (9537.75.14) and Firefox 27.0. I think I have the most recent version of Java installed but I can't find out which version it is. The web application XMF is telling me that it doesn't support Java updates over 51.
I can’t seem to delete Java from my machine, I’m running a Mac with Mac OS 10.9 (mavericks), I’ve enabled the root user and done a search for the ‘JavaAppletPlugin.plugin’, but this didn’t result in anything, I don’t feel experienced enough to mess with Terminal. Can anyone help. Ultimately I want to install Java update 51 for mac os x I think 64 bit.
