  • Offline approval for line item based Shopping carts

    Hi ,
    We are planning to  use offline approval and line item based approval (item based approval workflow) for shopping carts.
    For e.g. 10 line items in a cart can have 10 different  cost centres, and a line each need to go to respective cost centre managers for approval.
    have few clarifications:
    1. Can offline approval be used for item based shopping cart approval workflow?
    2. Can different line items be sent by mail to different mail boxes?
    3.  Will 1 manager see all the 10 line items OR only the 1  line item for which he is responsible?
    4. If he will get only line for which he is responsible , and once he clicks on approve , will this approval apply to his line item only , OR it will apply to all the 10 line items ?
    Rgds
    Sumendra

    Hi Sumedra,
    Which workflow are you using - application or process contrlled workflow?
    Assuming you are using process-controlled workflow - I will answer following questions -
    1. Can offline approval be used for item based shopping cart approval workflow?
    - Yes, it can be used !
    2. Can different line items be sent by mail to different mail boxes?
    Yes
    3. Will 1 manager see all the 10 line items OR only the 1 line item for which he is responsible?
    1 manager can 'see' all the items but he can only approve or reject the item that he is suppose to act on. All other item will be grayed out. However, this behaviour is configuarable !
    4. If he will get only line for which he is responsible , and once he clicks on approve , will this approval apply to his line item only , OR it will apply to all the 10 line items ?

  • Item-based Shopping Cart Approval

    Hi,
    I'm using Item-based approval shopping cart. I'm using the BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI for getting the approvers. I'm getting all the approvers in APPROVAL_TABLE and having ITEM_APPROVAL_TABLE also filled. I'm giving different branch index for different line items. As I described in those table, it is picking the first approver for particular line items and sending workitem to them. But once I execute from One user, the workitem disappears from other. And I'm not populating any details in ITEM_APPROVAL_OBJ.
    Is it needed to give the details in the table ITEM_APPROVAL_OBJ ????
    Can anyone tell me how to proceed with item level approval ??
    Regards,
    JMB

    You don't need directly update anything in the table, the function module BBP_WFL_DIN_ITEM_APPROVAL_GET populates this table. Take a look at the existing BADI implementation.

  • Looking for shopping cart software recommendation for picture downloads

    I am a web designer and my husband is a photographer. We have all these pictures, and figure it would be good to try to sell some of them on our web site. It would also give us experience with the day to day of ecommerce so we could give our clients better advice.
    We would prefer fixed price software that we can run on our own site, so we don't want to use photoshelter or smugmug. I have been very happy with PDGSoft, but it and other regular carts can't read IPTC keywords, and that seems like a shame. Why key stuff twice?
    I've looked at fotoplayer, but that seems to be more geared toward selling prints.
    We would really just like people to be able to view a few albums, search based on keywords, and buy and download images.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks so much!

    Just to let you know that I have just successfully upgraded to Mountain Lion.  I have just tested out HPScan 2.1.3 and I can confirm that the OCR on it still works.
    Download it here

    HP Scan is part of a software suite that came, with my HP PhotoSmart C7280 All-in-one, on a CD. All the other items on the suite basically repeat what's in other software provided by Apple but I still find them useful.  HP PhotoSmart Studio for instance is another item in the suite that may be used to make panoramic pictures amongst other things.
    HP Scan however is compatible with Preview but works separately.  With HP Scan, first you scan then you save the "output" (after cropping perhaps).  Before you save however, you need to select the right 'Profile' (i.e. either Picture or Document)
    Select 'Document' profile.  From the 'Options' menu at the bottom, choose "Optimize for OCR".
    Then save the file as an .rtf or TEXT file.  Go into Finder (or TextEdit or Pages). Open the document to find your OCR'd text. Check for, and correct, any errors and then re-save.

  • E-Commerce / Shopping Cart Question

    My company has outgrown our current shopping cart software, and our hosting company is no longer supporting it, so we're looking into other options.  I’m not too familiar with setting up e-commerce sites, so I was hoping to get some advice/recommendations on new software options.  We do need the software to accomplish the following:
    -We sell products to three exclusive customer groups (vets, stores and consumers) so we would need a software that is able to store three separate customer databases.
    -We’d also need an option to control entry into two of those databases.  Right now our stores and vets sign up and go into a “pending accounts” site, where we can see all of their information and choose whether to approve or deny their account.  Since we need to make sure we’re only selling to legitimate stores and licensed veterinarians, this control over approval of accounts is something that’s incredibly important to us.
    -The software we use now is meant to be used in one store.  Therefore, all of our products are entered in three times, to link in to the correct pricing for each customer group.  The new software needs to be able to allow us to enter in different prices for a product, depending on how a user is signed in (as a store vs. consumer) OR it needs to let us group products into different categories so that they’re easy to find when working in the backend – right now all of our products are in one list and it’s getting unmanageable.
    Any advice on where to look and what to get would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks so much!

  • Determine approvers based on lineitem in Shopping Cart Approval Workflow

    Hi All,
    We have N-step Approval workflow for Approving the Shopping cart implemented.
    The issue here is that based on the Product Category for a line item the list of approvals may differ.
    How can i handle this scenario ?
    Regards,
    Radhika.

    Hello Priyanka,
    While using N-step item level SC WF, you have to use BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI for agent determination. This badi gets called everytime when shopper changes SC or approver takes action on it. So after every change done to SC, approvers are determined.
    Follow the listed steps:
    1) As per your logic, for each item first determine the approvers at each level & assign them approval index. Arrange them in ascending order of their approval index at item level.
    2) Now its possible that you have multiple approvers, multiple item at each level. For sending SC for approval, you will have to generate Approval_object_guid for each approver.  For this you have to find out a criteria for generating Approval guid.
    Eg:
    SC has 3 items then, if for any 2 items product category is similar then approvers will be similar at a particular level. Similarly for different Product Category, different approvers are determined. So you can consider 'Product Category' & 'Approval index' as a criteria to club approvers at each level.
    3) Use function module ''BBP_WFL_DIN_APP_OBJ_GET' to generate approval guid based on criteria & to update badi parameter 'item_approval_obj'.
    4) Update badi parameters 'Approval_table' and 'Item_approval_table'.
    5) Once SC is approved by all, set 'no_further_approval_needed' flag.
    Please let me know if you need any further help.
    Thanks,
    Shital

  • GR Based IV Flag for Limit Shopping carts.

    Hello,
            We are on ECS SRM 3.0,EBP 4.0.There is a requirement to populate GR based Invoice verification flag (GR Based IV flag) for a PO for any  Limit shopping carts raised.For all other shopping carts this flag should not be set.One option we can think is a condition set in the Badi which replicates the PO to backend.Are there any settings to achieve the same.
    Thanks
    Rakesh.

    Hi Rakesh,
    As Dave said the simple way is using BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW.
    There is a way to achive this for Limit shopping carts. Choose 'Confirmation and Invoice' as Follow-on doc in the Limit shopping cart, this will create PO with GR flag active always. But this will not solve your other requirement that all non Limit orders should create PO with no GR flag. In that case you need to use BADI again.
    It is up to you, think and decide which way is better..:)
    Thanks,
    Jagadish

  • Shopping cart default delivery address based on company code

    Hi All,
    As a standard behaviour of SRM, currently delivery address in shopping cart is defaulted from attribute (ADDR_SHIPT). But in our case we use cross company purchasing where requisitioners buy for different company codes.
    Some times, they forgot to change the default dlivery address and shopping carts are getting created with wrong delivery address.
    Is there any way, the we can default the delivery address based on company code selected by the user instead of defaulting from user attribute?
    Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Krish

    Hi Krish,
    Am looking for a same solution but instead of delivery address, we are looking for change in invoice recipient address
    ADDR_BILLT. For this i have identifed a FM: BBP_GET_BILL_TO_PARTY from which system pulls the defaulted attribute of user profile. Now we are in a change of pulling the attribute defaulted to the company code entered in SC rather than the user's defaulted ADDR_BILLT.
    Similarly i guess for your issue you can use the FM: BBP_GET_ORG_SHIPTO_ADDR implementing a enhancement in DOC CHANGE BADI

  • Integrating a java based cart system with coldfusion

    I have a friend who is creating a cart system for me in java
    and I have not used java much so i was thinking if its possible to
    create the application in java but include it as an applet/object
    on a coldfusion page so it would be easier to maintain?
    Apart from the cart system, everything else will be in
    coldfusion inclding the admin control panel where admin will be
    able to add/ delete or update data from within the mysql database
    through the webpages. So if i update a product information from
    within the control panel or through the database, the change will
    not only have to take place in the database/backend but also at the
    front end, the product listing. This would be simple if the cart
    system is in coldfusion but it is in java.
    Also when an order is placed using the java based cart system
    then that order must be updated in the database and displayed on
    the list of orders in the coldfusion admin control panel which is
    the backend of the system. Here the cart system would be in java as
    an applet or object but uses coldfusion to connect to the
    database.

    Google gave me [this |http://java-source.net/open-source/bloggers] hope it helps.

  • Get the confirmation number  of a shopping cart based on its po number

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement where i need to find the confirmation number based on the  shopping cart number .
    I have fetched the po number from BBP_PDBEI table .
    How do i further proceed to get the confirmation number of the shopping cart ?
    Your help is  be highly appreciated .

    Hi,
    There are no of ways:
    Based on PO ;
    If your PO is in SRM (and replicated into R/3), and the GR is created directly in R/3, then there is no reference of this R/3 GR in SRM. The only way to get it it to read the backend PO history.
    To do this, you can try to call the BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL is SRM, with I_READ_BE_DATA = 'X'.
    You will get your R/3 reference (R/3 material doc number) in export tables E_HEADER_REL and E_ITMLIM_REL, and actual item values in E_ACTVAL.
    Also you can query the tables BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP to get the refernce doc no for PO and then use FM BBP_PD_CONF_GETDETAIL to get the details fo a particular confirmation.ALso you can search confirmations by "Reference Document", use BBP_PD_CONF_GETLIST, with parameter I_REF_DOC_NO, and then use BBP_PD_CONF_GETDETAIL for the found confirmations.
    Based on SC:
    You can use the FM 's BBP_PD_CONF_GETLIST to get the list of confirmations for SC's and "BBP_PD_CONF_GETDETAIL" to get details for a specific Confirmation.
    Also you can directly query on table BBP_PDHGP.

    </div>
    </td>
         </tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    </html>
    After user has make his selection by entering the qty and ticking on the check box, he would click the "Add To Cart" button ... and this would call my servlet : AddToAddControlSerlvet.java
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    public class AddToCartControlServlet extends HttpServlet
         public void doGet(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res) throws ServletException,IOException
              String action = req.getParameter("hAction");
              if (action.equals("AddToCart"))
                   addToCart(req,res);
         public void addToCart(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse res) throws ServletException, IOException
              try
                   String url = "";
                   String[] addList = req.getParameterValues("checkbox");
                   HttpSession sess = req.getSession(true);
                   //String sessionID = sess.getId();
                   DBClass dbClass = new DBClass();
                   ArrayList cartList = new ArrayList();
                   for (int i = 0; i < addList.length; i++)
                        String productCode = (String)addList;
                        int qty = Integer.parseInt(req.getParameter("Q"+productCode));
                        Products product = dbClass.getProductDetail(productCode);
                        double totalUnitAmt = qty * product.getUnitPrice();
                        double totalCartonAmt = qty * product.getCartonPrice();
                        Order order = new Order(product.getProductCode(),product.getProductDesc(),product.getBrandName(),product.getUom(),qty,product.getUnitPrice(),product.getCartonPrice(),totalUnitAmt,totalCartonAmt);
                        cartList.add(order);
                   sess.setAttribute("cartList", cartList);
                   url = "/Cart/CartDetails.jsp";
                   ServletContext sc = getServletContext();
                   RequestDispatcher rd = sc.getRequestDispatcher(url);
                   rd.forward(req, res);
              catch (Exception e)
                   System.out.println(e);
    From here, i would get the list of items which user has selected and add to the cartList, then i would direct the user to CartDetails.jsp which displayed the items user has selected.
    From there, user would be able to remove or to continue shopping by selecting other category.
    How i do store all the items user has selected ... everytime he would wan to view his cart ...
    As i would be calling from jsp to servlet .. or jsp to servlet ... and i do not know how i should go about in creating the shopping cart.

    Hi !
    Yon can use a data structure as vector and store the items selected by the user into the vector . Keep the vector in session using session object , so the user can access the entire shopping cart from anywhere in the application .
    Then , you can change the cart accordingly .
    Hope this works.
    Cheers ,
    Pranav
