Java-Based Upload Function No Longer Works After KB3021952 is Installed

Hi there,
Kindly note that my organization has just deployed the February 2015 Microsoft Security Patches including KB3021952. At the same time we have a Java web-based application that works fine before the February patches were deployed to all users. Upon deployment,
the upload function for the application started to fail, causing IE to crash (as shown below):
Event ID 1000 error was logged under Application logs (as specified below):

If I debugged the IE error using Visual Studio 2013 (loading symbols from Microsoft Symbol Servers option is enabled), the process will stuck at the following notification message:
I suspect that this error might be related to the new iexplore.exe file which being deployed together with KB3021952.
Another official case will be logged to the vendor of the Java web-based application. Just wanted to know if anybody else experienced the same issue upon the deployment of KB3021952. Additional information on my environment can be specified
as follow:
      Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise
      Java Version: Version 7 Update 75
      IE Browser Version: Internet Explorer 9 and 11 (same issues detected on both versions).

Hi,
According to your description, it's hard to judge this update caused jave problem, you can try to uninstall the update package for test if this is Windows update problem.
On the other hand, according to the event log, IE crash seems like caused by MSVCR100.dll which refers to Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package. Please access to the link below to downlaod and reinstall it for test:

Summary :
We are using SharePoint 2010 Ent edition and users were able to checkout Pdf files similar to local drafts folder like any other office file without any problem when they used office 2010.
i.e
Unfortunately ever since their machines upgraded with office 2013 recently , this functionality completely stopped working for PDF files. This has now become a big problem for the users when it comes to check out and replace PDF files.
All browser plugins required for this functionality (i.e SharePoint OpenDocuments Class ) are all available and active. All document libraries are configured to Checkout is required for editing files. Browser version
used at the moment is IE9 (32 bit) version with windows 7.
Can anyone please help with this issue and any help to get away with this problem is much appreciated.

Based on your description, my understanding is that the PDF files cannot be checked out to local drafts folder after Office 2013 is installed.
Did this issue occur with Office files?
I recommend to check if the Office files can be checked out to local drafts folder with Office 2013.
And it is recommended to use Office 2010 with SharePoint 2010 for best practice.

You can try running the combo updater over your install but you might need to re-install Lion. Both options should not erase your data but if you do the re-install of Lion it's recommended that you backup first as a precaution.

To re-install, boot into the Recovery drive and select to Reinstall OS X.
Hold down Command R when restarting to enter Recovery drive.

Shuffle function no longer works after upgrade.

After upgrading the software on my 3GS phone to 4.2.1 the shuffle function in the feature no longer worked. The same song played over and over again. The solution was super easy. On the home screen choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Unlike a restore none of your current data or media will be lost. Only took a couple of minutes. I had to set a few personal preference settings again like my ring tone and wallpaper, nothing major. Just a few taps and everything was back to normal. Hope this helps anyone having a problem after upgrading.

You could also tap the album artwork while the song is playing and turn repeat off.

This Nightly feedback, Steganos password Manager drop and drag functionality no longer works after last update.

Cut and paste still works but the drop and drag so longer works.

I too have the problem: W7 64 bit. Drag and drop worked until yesterday when I "upgraded" to FF v 26.0 - I can no longer drag passwords etc from my password manager to website fields - a barred circle appears when I try to drag.
I tried pressing ESC (one profferred solution) and also reset FF to no avail.
This is more than annoying: some of my passwords are dozens of characters long and there's no way I can access sites by typing them in! I need a solution, even if it's reverting to a previous version.

Search function no longer works after upgrading to 10.5.6

After upgrading to 10.5.6 I noticed that the search command no longer finds anything on my connected AFP Server (OS X Server 10.3. 9). When I start a search in the finder, even though I can see the item on the screen it gives a result of zero. Is any one else out there experiencing this issue. Is there a workaround?

Ahhh! The proverbial missing information. Thanks for clarifying. Apple always has plans to fix problems, but their timetable might not meet your expectations. I strongly suggest that you report this to Apple. Send Feedback and send bug reports and enhancement requests via its Bug Reporter system. To do the latter, join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report/enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure over submitting feedback is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.

Software Update Function no longer works after update

When I try to do a software update, I receive a message that says "A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the internet, then try again.
When I complete the network diagnostic, it tells me everything is fine. I am connected to a wireless network and have no problem loading other internet pages.

I f you mean you installed the Safari 3 beta, I do recommend you uninstall it. I have no use for beta software, frankly.

IChat Inline Images No Longer Working After a Fresh Install of Snow Leopard

My roommate and I share the same computer network and iChat through Bonjour. This is mostly for us to drop data to each other as we both work - urls, images, etc. He upgraded to Snow Leopard as a completely fresh upgrade and reinstalled his existing software with no new software added. As soon as he upgraded, he could no longer receive inline images from me, and he has to go into the file transfer window to see the images. I can see inline images from him with no problems. I can't upgrade to Snow Leopard at this time. How do we fix his image problem?

I have not set my Snow Leopard computer to Not Start Up iChat if it is Quit (unstarted on computer start up) when someone IMs me. (Off line Messaging.)
I get sent a File when I am Off line on a Sunday if I miss a particular group chat on Saturdays.
I never seem to get a Chat started as this Group Chat has finished.
The Last Group chat I was in though does pop up as per my Setting for Saved Transcripts.
It is a File not a pic.
It is not "in a Chat" either.
I am not sure how close my situation is to what you describe as to Closed Windows for the Bonjour Buddy list or other factors (there is no Off Line Messaging for Bonjour but the Buddy List Window can be closed)
I regard it a a partial replication.
It may give clues.

Sharepoint 3.0 website no longer working after Windows updates installed

We have an Intranet site that was set up in SharePoint 3.0. Over the weekend windows updates were installed, specifically KB2687442. Now my Intranet site does not work. When I try and run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard it
fails at step 9 with the following error : Failed to upgrade SharePoint Products and Technologies An exception of type System.InvalidOperationException was thrown. Additional exception information: Cannot start service SPAdmin on computer '.'. When I try and
start the Windows SharePoint services administration service manually it fails to start. When I look in the windows event log there are errors in the application log about SQL exceptions

I've had a few customers run into this issue as well after running Windows Update. Reboot the server (admin service should start), and then try the following command:
psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait

Touch Screen No Longer Works After Windows 8 Install on X220 Tablet

I was previously running Windows 8 Preview and did not have any problems with the touch screen. I have tried two separate clean installs of Windows 8 Pro, and the only thing that will not work is the touch screen with my finger. The pen still works, but not the finger touch.
The driver installation for both the pen and the multitouch fails with and error saying "A supported tablet was not found on the system."
Help Please.

Any resolution on this issue. Please advise as I am having the same problem when upgrading from Windows 7 to 8 on my X230T (3434cto)

Bonjour for Windows no longer works after SP3 is installed

Bonjour for Windows was working fine until SP3 came out. Now I can see the printer and Bonjour goes through the motions to set it up, but I can't print to the printer.
The whole construct of "Printer.local" or "AirPortExpress.local" doesn't seem to work in a printer Port configuration any more.
I can ping the Printer.local or AirPortExpress.local in a command window, but the print spooler can't seem to send anything to the printer if the name.local construct is used in the port configuration.
If I replace the printer.local name in the port configuration with the IP address instead of the printer.local name, I can print fine. The only exception to this is printers hanging off of an AirPortExpress. I can't print to any printer that is attached to an Airport Express. Even if I setup a port to the IP address, I can't print to that printer.
Another user that had this problem uninstalled SP3, I'm contemplating that now.

I have Bonjour installed on my ThinkPad running WinXP. It can't see my LAN-connected HP printer. I don't even see an option to add a Bonjour printer.

Nor can any of my Macs see the shared documents folder on the PC. They could before I upgraded to SP3. Sharing for that folder is turned on, of course
I removed the Bonjour component and reinstalled it. No diference.
I downloaded the latest Bonjour installer from Apple and installed that.
Turned firewall off. No difference.
The Windows Component Manager shows that the Bonjour service is running. I stopped and restarted the service. No joy.
The Windows Event Viewer shows that the Bonjour service is logging informational error messages ID=1 from time to time.

Multi room DVR no longer works after latest update

I just recieved an update on my 2 DVR's and now the multi room function no longer works. I no longer see the other DVR's recodings. When I try the verizon auto dvr fix it locks up and freeses and says to try again later sometime. Anyone else get an update and loose multi room function?
