  • Java Card Manager NetBeans plug-in

    Just to announce, I've uploaded a simple plug-in for NetBeans that provides basic functionality for Java Cards. Send APDU commands to card or simulator, browse content loaded on card, load & install & delete applets, open secure channel... Plug-in follows Open platform specification.
    It has been used with GemXpresso cards (and works well) so there is no experience with other cards, but suppose that the card is OP compliant, it should work ok.
    I have some ideas to improve and to extend it to support full OP/GP specs as well as plug-in for Java Card project type. However, I have no idea about what Sun prepares as tools with JC3.0 (I've noticed that it will be NB plug-ins too).
    http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=10935

    Hello, neinaggar1.
    Well, on NetBeans plug-in portal, I've uploaded Java Card Manager plug-in. This plug-in brings to NetBeans the possibility to communicate (APDU commands, installing applets, etc.) with card or running simulator; no project types.
    In comments on plug-in discussion, i.e. http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/faces/PluginDetailPage.jsp?pluginid=10935 , I've put a link to second plug-in Java Card Project that provides the "project" functionality - new project type (new project type category "Java Card"), code completion, compiling, converting, starting simulator... However, this plug-in is in "beta" stage because it has some unsolved pitfalls - for example, you can provide just one export path for converting and there is a problem with plug-in depedency to internal NetBeans modules so it is strongly dependent on certain ide version (and probably even on its build).
    Check the link above and discussion present there.
    Just a note:
    the access to the functionality Java Card Manager plug-in is from "Service" tab.
    the access to the functionality Java Card Project plug-in is from properties (right click on the project name in project treeview) of existing java card project made by this plug-in or via new project wizard to make a new java card project.

  • Sun Java Application Server - Deployment Error while deploying Hello applic

    Hi there,
    I got problem when i try to deploy hello application after installing
    Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8.1_02 (build b06-fcs)
    I got the following error when i tried to deploy using admin menu on localhost:4848 using the button under web applications link.
    A "com.sun.enterprise.tools.guiframework.exception.FrameworkException" was caught. The message from the exception: "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException while attempting to process a 'error' event for 'deployWebModule'."
    The root cause is "javax.management.AttributeNotFoundException: id"
    See the HTML source for more detailed (stack trace) information.
    I'm waiting for your help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I've found that if you remove the j2ee-application element related to the enterprise app you are trying to deploy from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\config\domain.xml, and also remove your enterprise j2ee-app directory from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-apps\, it works.
    This is not a permanent solution. I get the same error again, when I try to redeploy the application for the third time. Hope someone can help soon!
    Thanks.

  • Process manager deployment error - can't create views

    We installed the process manager on solaris using sybase. When we try to deploy any of the sample applications, we see the following error: "Failed to create a view in database.....so.process_instance not found....
    After checking the database, we can see that all the tables are created and belong to dbo. Any ideas?

    Thomas,
    If you are talking about the Process Manager which is now part of iPlanet Application Server Enterprise Pro Edition, I suggest you re-post your question to the Application Server forum. This forum is for iPlanet Integration Server, an entirely separate product.

    Hello,
    JDev 9.0.3 preview release includes support for signing the bc4j jar files and
    your project jar files. When you run the JClient WebStart wizard, Ant build
    scripts are generated. One of the Ant build target 'signs' the jar file.

    The relevant jar file, commons-digester.jar is in the the WEB-INF/lib folder, just like all the other commons-*.jar files.
    My CLASSPATH variable doesn't contain anything except a an XMLSpy jar file.
    I'm running WLS 8.1 SP2.
    Any help/hints are greatly appreciated.

    I would set "prefer-web-inf-classes" to "true" in your "weblogic.xml" file. Without this, you may be getting classloader confusion with some of the commons jars that are used within WebLogic.

  • Java.rmi.RemoteException: Protocol error reported by the card! why?

    Hello,
    I am currently trying to run the JCK 2.2.1 SecureRMIDemo using SmartCardIO instead of OCF, but getting an error:
    java.rmi.RemoteException: Protocol error reported by the card
    (in my last post I succesfully ran the RMIDemo using my SmartCardIO implementation, see http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5405634&tstart=15)
    So here is what I did:
    - I succesfully loaded the server app (com.sun.javacard.samples.SecureRMIDemo) on the card without changes.
    - I created an new accessor class: public class PINCardAccessor extends SmartCardIOAccessor (I wrote SmartCardIOAccessor for the RMIDemo, it should work fine as an accessor)
    - The contents of PINCardAccessor class and SecureOCFCardAccessor are the same, just the class declration makes the difference
    - Here is the most important part of my main method:
                   ca = new PINCardAccessor(false);
                   JavaCardRMIConnect  jcRMI = new JavaCardRMIConnect(ca);
                   jcRMI.selectApplet(appAID);
                   // send PIN
                   System.out.println("Sending PIN...");
                if (! ((PINCardAccessor) ca).authenticateUser( PRINCIPAL_APP_PROVIDER_ID ))
                     System.out.println("Wrong PIN!");
                     System.exit(0);
                   Purse myServ = (Purse) jcRMI.getInitialReference();
                   if(myServ == null)
                      throw new Exception("Received null instead of the initial ref");
                   // print balance
                   System.out.println("Balance: "+myServ.getBalance());And finally here is the debug output:

    thank you

    Oh, thanks for pointing at the JCRE Spec, it is very informative, but i still have not found the problem yet.
    If i understand everything right, the communication's flow is
    SecureClient <-> PINCardAccessor <-> SmartCardIOAccessor <-> MySecurityService <-> SecurePurseImpl (with help of SecurePurseApplet)
    probably i made a mistake in a protocol of one or more layers.
    - MySecurityService, SecurePurseImpl and SecurePurseApplet are EXACTLY the one's from com.sun.javacard.samples.SecureRMIDemo of JCDK 2.2.1, so there cant be any mistake (?).
    - SmartCardIOAccessor worked fine in my RMIDemo tests, see http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5405634&tstart=15 - there is also the implementation)
    - SecureClient must be obviously correctly
    so maybe it's something about PINCardAccessor? hmm...i havent found anything, but here is the complete code:

  • Java embedding code in BPEL 2.0 giving deployment errors

    Hello,
    I am using Jdeveloper and SOA 6 11.1.1.0.6 version. BPEL 2.0
    When i use simple sysout in the java embedding it is deploying fine but when using XMLElement api in the java embedding it s giving deployment error.
    Please suggest me how to make it work.
    Please see the error message below:
    Error deploying archive sca_FetchAttachments_rev1.1.jar to partition "default" on server soa_server1 [http://XXX.XXX.com:8001]
    [01:04:09 PM] HTTP error code returned [500]
    [01:04:09 PM] Error message from server:
    There was an error deploying the composite on soa_server1: Error occurred during deployment of component: FetchAttachments to service engine: implementation.bpel, for composite: FetchAttachments: ORABPEL-05250

    Hello Rolando Carrasco,
    Thank for responding my question. I figure out the issue. It is because we need to import the java API's what we are using in the java embedding.
    Thank you,
    Raj

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Unexpected exception while enlisting XAConnection java.sql.SQLException: XA error: XAResource.XAER_RMFAIL start() failed on resource 'myDomain': XAER_RMFAIL : Resource manager is unavailable

    Hi All,
    I am facing below issue without any change in the config from weblogic
    Managed servers are coming up and running without any issue
    But when we are doing any operation from application then its failing
    java.sql.SQLException: Unexpected exception while enlisting XAConnection java.sql.SQLException: XA error: XAResource.XAER_RMFAIL start() failed on resource 'myDomain': XAER_RMFAIL : Resource manager is unavailable
    Regards
    Lokesh

    Hi,
    Can you please try increase the below MaxXACallMillis setting in Weblogic set 'Maximum Duration of XA Calls' to a bigger value
    MaxXACallMillis: Sets the maximum allowed duration (in milliseconds) of XA calls to XA resources. This setting applies to the entire domain.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/jta/trxcon.html
    The parameter is exposed through administration console: services --> jta --> advanced --> "Maximum Duration of XA Calls:"
    Check the below docs for more information
    WLS 10.3: Intermittent XA error: XAResource.XAER_RMERR (Doc ID 1118264.1)
    Hope it Helps
