Java elements get munged in FF, not IE
Hi there - I frequently use a "Scrabble" site where the tile rack is provided in the form of an embedded Java applet, allowing you to slide your letters back and forth to change the order they appear on the screen.
The problem comes if you scroll the page - the Java bits are replaced by some of the text and / or frame lines that appeared in that position during the scrolling. You can force the letter tiles to be redrawn by sliding them as intended, but this refreshes only the tiles, not their frame lines. Overall quite an ugly result.
I wish I could provide screen clips to illustrate this behaviour because the above explanation is at best awkward, and the URL below requires a logon and other procedures (join a game) before you can see anything of value. Isn't there any way to attach JPGs to these posts?

I should have mentioned that Video drivers was the first thing I suspected, and updated to latest available. It made no discernible difference. Anyway I can live with this workaround, since running FF with HW acceleration off doesn't make any discernible difference to performance. Many thanks.

Hi, Yes you are correct in iPhoto Prefernces, Advanced tab editing I used to have iPhoto and "Use external editor.". It changed to iPhoto and iPhoto Library. I have einstaleed PSE 9 and downloaded the update. There is still no lkink to external editor in the drop down box. Have I done something wrong inadvertently or is there a clitch? can you reinstal iPhoto. I am new to Macs. Every thing came preinstalled. it is the top of the range system with 16 Gb of rRAM, 2 Tb hard drive to top graphics card etc. I used to be on Windows PC. Have more than 27,000 photos on the system. When I try to open a file in photoshop CS, Elements or Lightroom I get the message "Could not complete request because it is not the right kind of document" This just started happening today. The only thing I have done differently is change my file handling to raw + jpeg on my Nikon 7100.
I downloaded camera raw 8.7 and I am now able to open my raw and jpeg files. Thanks

I friend has given me his original copy of Photoshop Elements 11. It will not load on to my computer. Mac. mini. I keep getting will not initialize.
I own the businesses, so there are no restrictions. Even my personal page has the same problem. I've been working on FB for years with no access problems. Ironically, the problem started the day the FB IPO went public. At first, the "freeze" happened when I tried to view a photo. Now it happens virtually every time I try to do anything: view a friend's page, try to use "chat."
I'm at a loss. I would view it as a blessing, except that too many of my "friends" and family only use FB to communicate. I'm afraid that's how the world is today, and we can't turn back the clock. -

Inside the Online Services folder delete the Photoshop Elements 12.0.0 folder.
Re-launch Organizer and OLS should get recreated.

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

I have a HTML page with an IFrame. Inside the Iframe there is a table with a tree view

In UIA, i am able to traverse till the tree view but not able to see it.
I have used the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker Field to traverse the node from the desktop Automation.RootElement.
I tried to use AutomationElement.FromPoint method to check whether i am able to get that element. Fortunately i was able to get the automation element.
i tried to get the path to root element from the node element using the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker. I was able to get the parent path to the root element.
But trying the reverse way like navigating from root element to tree node, was not getting the element for me.
Please help me with suggestions or inputs to resolve this issue.Thanks Bernard,

i am actually using jinitiator 1.3.1.28 with Oracle HTTP Server of OAS 10gR2) calling Forms Server 6i (f60cgi). After setting up according to Bernard's recommended setup steps, the java console showed that it loaded the icon jar file when it could not read the form, but it skipped the loading of the icon jar file once it read and started the form. How do we specify in the form to pick up the icon from the jar file instead from a directory ? Or do we need to specify ? Any ideas ?

Suddenly a lot of filters and additional Java elements are missing! Why
Having the same problems where the UI elements are missing in the layout screen.
using the Show/Hide layout Preview Button I get an Program cannot display the web page.
The server is on a different box . Tried running the sapgui from a vista machine and a xp machine and they both have the same problem.
If I run Sapgui on the server box the Show/Hide layout Preview Button does show a subset on the ui elements but not all the examples described in the "ABAP Trial Version for Newbies: Part 18 - Starting with Web Dynpro for ABAP"

Java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Session: null does not exist
These days I am getting an exception (java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Session: null does not exist) when I restart the weblogic managed server. I have a work around to get away with this error. I completely delete the dataspace from ALDSP console and redeploy the artifacts jar file. This is a tedious process. Can anyone suggest a permanent fix to resolve this issue.
