The iPad uses iOS, and your MacBook Air uses OS X, which are different operating systems with different apps.
iWork apps (Keynote, Pages and Numbers) have got two version: for OS X and for iOS. You already purchased Keynote and Pages for iOS, so you can install them in all your iPhones, iPads and iPods touch for free, but not in the MacBook Air, because the iOS version isn't supported. You have to buy Keynote and Pages for OS X in the Mac App Store for your MacBook Air.
To access to the Mac App Store, press its icon in the Dock or go to  > App Store

To use Image Capture you need an ICA driver for your scanner. Checking the Fujitsu web site for drivers for the iX500 I only see a ScanSnap manager for OS X. No mention of an ICA driver. So you may need to contact your local Fujitsu support.

Back up all data.
Quit Messages if it’s running. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it and test after each of the following steps. If the problem isn't resolved, quit again and go on to the next step.
Step 1
Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
          Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
          Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked
          Keep login keychain unlocked
is not checked, check it.
Select
          Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
From the Category list in the lower left corner of the window, select My Certificates. Look carefully at the list of certificates in the right side of the window. If any of them is marked with a red "X" as expired or invalid, delete it. Also delete all items with "iMessage" or "com.apple.idms" in the name, whether valid or not.
From the menu bar, select
          Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ Certificates
There are three menus in the window. Change the selection in the top two to Best attempt, and in the bottom one to CRL.
Log out and log back in.
Step 2
Hold down the option key and select
          Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
          Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd
          Caches/com.apple.Messages
          Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
          Containers/com.apple.iChat
          Containers/com.apple.soagent
          IdentityServices
Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in.
Step 3
Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
          Messages
Note: you are not moving the Messages application. You’re moving a folder named “Messages.”
If Messages now works, delete the Messages folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit Messages again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place.
Step 4
In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
          com.apple.iChat
          com.apple.ids
          com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
          com.apple.imessage
          com.apple.imservice
Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Log out and log back in. Test again. This time Messages should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes Messages to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
If the issue is still not resolved, quit Messages again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post your results.
If you later decide that you don’t like the results of Steps 3 and 4, you can undo them completely by quitting Messages and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.

Sol 1. Please try sign out from Creative cloud Desktop App and quit it.
1. Launch Creative Cloud application manager.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Preferences.
3. In the Preferences menu, under General, click the Account tab.
4. Click Sign Out from Creative Cloud.
Then re-sign in and launch Photoshop CC 2014 and check.
Sol 2. Check your Hosts file.
Windows
1. Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
2. Locate Hosts file and move it to Desktop
3. Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
4. Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
5. Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
6. Save and close the file and move it back to Etc folder.
Mac OS
1. Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

Then try launching Photoshop CC 2014 or Illustrator CC 2014

I have a set of cloned APEX servers, how should I get them working?

Hey there, I have been asked to configure a set of servers which are clones of an existing APEX environment and get them working as a separate development environment. This APEX setup has three servers which are all running RedHat Linux: a single sign on server, a web server, and a database server. I am having some trouble finding all the configuration files that I need to update with the new ipaddresses and hosts names in order to get the new servers to talk to each-other again. For example, the cloned web server seems to still be trying to connect to the original database server. When I start opmnctl, it doesn't throw any errors even if the cloned database server's listener isn't running.
I've updated the ssl.conf, httpd.conf, and targets.xml files on the web and sso servers, and the TNSnames.ora and Listener.ora files on the database server. I also updated the generic linux hosts and networking files on both. Can anyone think of anything that I'm missing?

You may want to take a look at the dads.conf file, which should be where your Web server is configured. There most likely is a connect string defined in there.

How can i let Displaytag work in an Oracle 10g Portal environment?

I'm already searching and trying this for a week, but didn't succeed yet.
I want to use displaytag to be able to sort and page data in a HTML table on a very generic and easy-to-use way.
Locally in JDeveloper 10.1.3 on OC4J (embedded) it works like a charm (even exporting with the export filter).
On portal...it "sucks" :-s ... It doesn't work at all. It displays the data, but when i click a column for sorting, or a another page of the displaytag an error occurs.
If i do nothing (except giving requestURI="") , the portal suddenly displays it's toplevel page.
If i try to compose the requestURI in the JSP itself, and get the approximate URI that the oracle portal needs, the action is called, but apparently our http session is invalidated, i get nullpointers of an object that should be on the request.getSession(), but it is null there.
I already tried something like implementing the PortletRequestHelper and PortletHref , but therefore i need access to the request (or pageContext?) attributes renderResponse and portletRequest, that should be in the request or page as an attribute with a given name.
I have already printed all session, request and pagecontext attributes and their names in a header.jsp (included like <%@ include file="header.jsp"%> ) , but no objects like javax.portlet.PortletRequest or javax.portlet.RenderResponse appear to be there.
So i can't fetch them from the PageContext attribute in my custom PortletRequestHelper implementation.
Well :-s I need help urgently. Can anyone give me more information to this? I already googled, searched different sources, addressed some colleagues here, and nothing could help me. You, Oracle experts, are my last hope. (Normally, i have a colleague who is very known with Oracle Portal, Oracle expert in our company, but he's ill).
It must have something to do with a wrong URL, but i checked the URL generated by portal for a tab that we can click to change pages, and the URL generated by portal on the displaytag column headers ... (in my current code with the hand-written requestURI in the JSP itself) , and it is completely the same, only 2 request parameters are added. If i click the column, it gives a nullpointerexception on an object that should be on the session but is null.
If you need more information, i'll be so kind as to answer your questions.
I hope this explanation was clear enough :-s i'm quite aggitated that i can't get this wonderfull displaytag working in oracle portal.

Well, i checked PortletRenderRequest and responses already ... But well ...
I have to re-implement the PortletRequestHelperFactory to allow displaytag to generate the links.
Displaytag expects me to make a PortletRequestHelperFactory (AbsentPortletRequestHelperFactory --> The project call Absenteisme ... employees that are absent from work are registered) that gives a pageContext parameter to an AbsentPortletRequestHelper.
The PortletHref that i need to re-implement (AbsentPortletHref), is constructed using a PortletRequest and a PortletResponse parameter, like the default PortletHref in de Displaytag-Portlet source.
PortletRequest and PortletRenderRequest aren't the same, this gives ClassCastExceptions, and other problems. I already tried using wrappers but can't find anything that works.

I don't think it's your iPod. I reckon it's something to do with the tracks themselves. I've been searching through similar posts and have tried the following suggestions (without any luck):
- swap you iPod cable to another USB port and re-sync
- whilst the iPod is connected, deauthorise your computer in iTunes and then authorise it
- re-created my iTunes library (as your iPod can only sync with one library, it will wipe clean your iPod and re-sync it) - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93313
- have even restored my iPod
and still the 3 tracks will not play. However, I have subsequently downloaded another track (different album and artist) and that plays just fine. I have since contacted customer services about this and they have been very quick to respond, but unfortunately the re-download solution they proposed hasn't worked either so they have escalated the problem internally.
One thing I have tried (and I think it's legit??), is to burn the tracks to a CD. Remove the originals from your iTunes library to another folder. Re-import the tracks back into iTunes and re-sync. I've tried this and the tracks will now play on my iPod. I believe the above process strips off the DRM, so maybe the problem lies with the DRM encoding and your iPod believes you don't have permission to play the tracks when in fact you do. If you don't feel comfortable about doing this, I would contact customer services.

Safari and VLC -- how do I make them work together?

I installed VLC on my Mac Pro and I want to use VLC to play streaming content. I think the link I'm clicking on is Adobe Flash content that then opens another program to play the MMS stream.
Quicktime Player can't handle the stream and when I click on the link now the computer starts Parallels and tries to launch Windows Media Player from a virtual machine, which also can't handle the stream. I know that the VLC client can handle the stream because it works great on my Macbook Pro.
I don't know how to change the necessary file/stream associations so that Safari/Adobe launch VLC to play the stream instead of either Quicktime or Windows Media Player. Also, because it is a stream launched from flash content I can't just open it in the Finder and change the application association.
I found a workaround by creating a new .ASF file and then opening that with Finder to "change all" and associate ASF with the VLC client, but there must be an easier way.
What is the easiest way to do this?

When I use Firefox for Yahoo mail the tabs such as sign out, search email, help seem to be disabled. How do I make them work? Works in Internet Explorer

There are a number of tabs at top of my inbox such as sign out, search email, help, etc. They do not work. For example cannot insert a name for search email- will not give me the curser to do this. When I use internet explorer these tabs do work so not a problem with Yahoo mail- must be problem with Firefox. Recently updated Firefox.

SafeBrowser posted Recently, the Yahoo Toolbar and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause that problem. They seem to overlap invisibly over the top of the web page display. If you have either or both, uninstall or disable them/it, or see if an update is available that solves the problem.

Volume Up/Down/Mute/Media Eject Keys: How do I make them work again?!

So this is ridiculous. I feel like I OUGHTA know how to do this, but somehow it's eluding me! I'm on a PowerPC G5 running Tiger 10.4.11, and I have one of the white 'Pro' keyboards attached. For whatever reason, the bank of buttons on the upper right (volume down/up/mute/Media Eject) are not working, and I can't seem to find anything in the keyboard preferences pane that would indicate controlling their function!
Can anybody fill me in on the really obvious and dumb thing I'm overlooking here?

It was because the keyboard was going into a USB 1 port before reaching the machine!

The address bar and search bar do not function(no plugins/addons). How do i make them work?

I recently updated firefox and have a problem similar to what others have posted here. When typing a URL in the address bar and hitting enter there is no response. The major difference is I do not have any plugins or add ons or new themes. I ran combofix and found no virus. I uninstalled then reinstall FF. Didn't work. Then i went into registry and manually removed all FF files and reinstalled. Didn't work. I am currently using chrome and would be happy to come back to FF if it starts to work again. Any ideas guys?

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
