PeopleSoft XML Publisher report error with java.io.FileNotFoundException
Hi,
I have created two reports using XML Publisher in Peoplesoft Financials. The two reports are not related and they were submitted for processing separately. The first report completes without any issues. The second report results in error with the following message:

In the process monitor detail > view log/trace page, the xml file is accessible so the file was generated to a valid directory.
The weird thing is I was able to run this report without any issues few weeks ago although another user also ran into same error. The PeopleCode step that has been identified is essentially same in the two reports. I checked the app server and the directory does exist as well as the xml files for the two reports. The problem does not occur in test environment, just in production. Any help would be appreciated. We encounter the same problem. Did you get the answer for this issue? Thanks in advance.

Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error
When attempting to write to a new file (Eg: C:\TEST.txt), Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error occurs.
This error occurs only in Essbase 9.3.1.3 release, however it works fine in release 9.3.1.0.
After running the report the script, it pops up the follwing message:
"java.io.FileNotFoundException: ..\temp\eas17109.tmp (The system cannot find the file specified): C:\TEST.txt"
When checked the TEST.txt, it was empty.Sorry folks, I just found out the reason. Its because there was no data in the combination what I was extracting.
but is this the right error message for that? It should have atleast create a blank file right? -

SagarikaHi,
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /apps/oracle/DEV/inst/apps/DEV_hlt439erplap001/logs/appl/conc/out/o559655.out (No such file or directory)Most probably this file is not created (since no changes have been done recently, so definitely it is not a permission issue), and if there are any log files generate at the client side it should help in investigating the issue.
Thanks,

I am installing OIM/OAM in a cluster configuration using release 11.1.1.7.
I looked at the EDG here:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28280_01/core.1111/e12035/toc.htm
And its pointing me to the 11.1.1.5 version
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/core.1111/e12035/toc.htm
So that is the guide I am following.
I am at this step:
18.1.5.2 Integrating Oracle Access Manager with Oracle Identity Manager by Using idmConfigTool
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/core.1111/e12035/wiring.htm#sthref356
When I run the config tool I get SEVERE messages like this one:
SEVERE: java.io.FileNotFoundException: ./config/jps-config.xml (No such file or directory)
Any suggestions on how to fix this ?
Please note that I can see jps-config.xml under the domain configuration in the fmwconfig directory.

Hello,
I am in the processing porting a J2EE based application deployed originally in OC4J to WLS. I am not changing anything as far as J2EE/Web configuration files such as web.xml. Whenever I hit the URL of the application, I am getting the below exception.
What does usually "java.io.FileNotFoundException: Response: '404: Not Found' for url...." indicate?
If you could please give me some pointers to narrow down the places to look, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mustafa

Java.io.FileNotFoundException in a JSP Page
Hi people,
My JSP page is launching an IOException: java.io.FileNotFoundException and the compiler is telling that the problem is occurring at this code:
<%@ taglib uri="/tags/struts-logic" prefix="logic" %>
<%@ taglib uri="/tags/struts-html" prefix="html" %>
<%@ taglib uri="/tags/struts-bean" prefix="bean" %>
Could you tell me what is the problem with this code right here???
Greetings and best regards...
LucasThe uri look like paths so the jsp is looking for a file at that location.
http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/syntax/1.2/syntaxref1211.html#8780
uri="URIForLibrary"
The Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) that uniquely locates the TLD that describes the set of custom tags associated with the named tag prefix. A URI can be any of the following:
A Uniform Resource Locator (URL), as defined in RFC 2396, available at http://www.hut.fi/u/jkorpela/rfc/2396/full.html
A Uniform Resource Name (URN), as defined in RFC 2396
An absolute or relative pathname
If the URI is a URL or URN, then the TLD is located by consulting the mapping indicated in web.xml extended using the implicit maps in the packaged tag libraries. If URI is pathname, it is interpreted relative to the root of the web application and should resolve to a TLD file directly, or to a JAR file that has a TLD file at location META-INF/taglib.tld. -
How to catch when user enters a bogus jsp page. I have login.jsp. If someon enter log.jsp i get javax.servlet.ServletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException and then the whole path is shown. This onlyhappens with 9ias. When i was using http server that came with 9i database, i was able to catch this with send_error=true in zone.properties. It doesnt work with 9ias. How is everyone catching these errors? I cant seem to find out how to do it.
ThanksAnyone have any suggestions on this? I take it noone catches this..

Java.io.FileNotFoundException when running jsp
hi,all.i'm using jdev 10.1.3,migrated from 10.1.2.

We are migrating from 10.1.2 environment and 10.1.3 has 2 BIG problems!
1) You cannot run your applications under JDK 1.4 !!! Our production environment is 10.1.2 app server...this means we would have to build our apps in 1.4 yet be FORCED to develop in 1.5 in order to use OC4J. Not very backwards compatible.
2) The side application navigator is not very flexible. We cannot right click a file and refactor it for example add a new file or move files via drag and drop. In addition you can't rename a file easily...you have to go to the file menu.
Any solutions to these problems ? The JDK problem is a big one for anyone moving over
to this IDE.
Help!!

How to catch java.io.FileNotFoundException when a user enters a bogus jsp page. For example. I have a page called login.jsp. If a user enters log.jsp, the entire path is show and i get java.io.FileNotFoundException. This should not happen. This only happened since I upgraded to 9iAS. I tried send_error=true in zone.properties like i did when i was just using oracle http that came with database and it doesnt work. How are all you guys catching this?? I cant find any documentation. They say send_error=true will work, but IT DOESNT.
Thanks for your timeHi Adam,
I am also facing the same problem of the java.io.FIleNotFOundException in the browser display when i am giving a wrong file path in the Url. you have mentioned that you have solved it when you were using Orcale 8i Http Server, can you please guide me for that( as we are also using Oracle 8i) I checked with putting send_error=true in zone.properties file but that is not working. What exctly you have done to get rid of that error message. I am using Windows Nt platform.
Thanks and Regards.
