Java.io.FileNotFoundException: d:/tmp/dummylog.txt (No such file or directo
We are using WL 8.1 SP4 on RH Linux 7.2 and have this (non-critical, but annoying) error during runtime. When it hits, the same error gets printed out like a 100 times.
This one is really blowing my mind. I have searched through all our files (including binaries) for "dummylog" and "dummylog.txt" and can't find anything referring to this log file, so where the heck could it be coming from?
This error happens at least each time a user logs in to our application:

From the stacktrace,
com.takecargo.utils.SimpleDebugger.write(SimpleDebugger.java:27)
this seems to try to write the file. Do you know what that is? Also create the file with that name manually and see if it works.
Thanks,

What is Java Grahphics Format? How to view/open such file? (.jgf)
Hi,
I find a format 'Java Grahphics Format', where the file is created with .jgf extention. Can any body know how to use this?
Many Thanx in advance.The Java Graphics format is a generated set of binary graphical instructions which maps to the Java Graphics API (java.awt.Graphics). This allows you to create soft copies of your reports. The generated report has a .jgf extension. You can view .jpf files with Elixir Reports Professional software which is used to create java reports. You can download a free evaluation from here:

Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error
When attempting to write to a new file (Eg: C:\TEST.txt), Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error occurs.
This error occurs only in Essbase 9.3.1.3 release, however it works fine in release 9.3.1.0.
After running the report the script, it pops up the follwing message:
"java.io.FileNotFoundException: ..\temp\eas17109.tmp (The system cannot find the file specified): C:\TEST.txt"
When checked the TEST.txt, it was empty.Sorry folks, I just found out the reason. Its because there was no data in the combination what I was extracting.
but is this the right error message for that? It should have atleast create a blank file right? -

AnandHi,
Yes, i was able to fix the issue. The template associated with the bursting process needs to be in a single table. I had 2 separate tables due to which the program was completing with error. When i placed both those tables in a single table the issue was resolved.

Java.io.FileNotFoundException: Unable to locate style sheet "oracle/webcent
Hi
I have created a webceter application in jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 with the default page templates and pages.
After creating the application i followed the below steps
1. Created a new skin file test-skin.css under webcontent/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/skins
2. Created a trinidad-skins.xml under WEB-INF and configured it as below
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
<skins xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/skin">
<skin>
<id>testskin</id>
<family>testskin</family>
<version>
<name>v1</name>
<default>true</default>
</version>
<render-kit-id>org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.desktop</render-kit-id>
<style-sheet-name>oracle/webcenter/portalapp/skins/test-skin.css</style-sheet-name>
</skin>
</skins>
3. Made entry in the trinidad-config.xml as
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
<trinidad-config xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/config">
<skin-family>testskin</skin-family>
</trinidad-config>
4. Ran the portal but got error on the console as below
<StyleSheetEntry> <_getNameResolver> Could not load style sheet: oracle/webcenter/portalapp/skins/test-skin.css

I also tried creating portal resource for the skin by right clicking on the skin file, but i still get the same error.
If i create a skin file under anyother folder directly under the webcontent say /css/test-skin.css it works file.
Am i doing something wrong or missing any entries?Help is appreciated.
ThanksBy default, trinidad-config picks up the skin setup through the preference bean - "#{preferenceBean.defaultTrinidadSkin}". The default skin can be setup through adf-config.xml at design time (look for <portal:preference id="oracle.webcenter.portalapp.skin") or using the Administration console at run-time. The value used here is whatever you've configured as "Skin Family" when creating the portal resource.
Of course, you can edit the trinidad-config to hard-code the skin as well using the same "Skin Family" from the Create Portal Resource dialog. -

Stack Trace:I'm also getting this when deploying from the Eclipse BPEL Designer plug in.
The only solution I've found so far is to replace "$SERVER-URL$" string in the deployed WSDL file for the process (found in {orabpelhome}/domains/default/tmp/.bpel_ProcessName_1.0.jar/) with the string for your server, e.g. "http://myserver:9700"
I think I've read that this occurs because the Eclipse plugin is not yet synched up with the latest BPEL release. -

Thanks and Regards,
AkshayHi,
I was able to resolve the issue. Issue was in XML / BI publisher for the temporary directory.
I have setup a temp directory which was coming in error message. After removing that directory I was able to solve the error and Document Viewer Region started working as expected.
Thanks and Regards,

Common causes of java.io.filenotfoundexception
hi,
what are the most obvious causes of a java.io.FileNotFoundException being thrown.
this is occuring in an application i have written - the exception is being thrown everytime a new FileReader is tried to be created.
the files i am trying to read in are not read only files, they do exist and the pathname is correct...
thanks in advancei specify the pathname as one of the arguments that i pass to the application so when it throws the exception (which i do have a catch clause for btw) it shows me the pathname i have previously specified.
everyones help is well appreciated (this is after one or two cups of irish java!!!).
the full code for the program is as follows:
import java.io.*;
public class tArray {
public static void main(String[] args) {
tArr arr = new tArr(args[0], args[1]);
arr.convert();
class tArr {
String sourceName;
String sourceString;
tArr(String sourceArg, String sourceArg1) {
sourceName = sourceArg;
sourceString = sourceArg1;
void convert() {
try {
File source = new File(sourceName);
File temp = new File(sourceName + ".tmp");
File[] fileArr = source.listFiles();
for (int y = 0; y < fileArr.length; y++)
System.out.println("listFiles: "
+ fileArr[y].toString());
FileReader fr = new FileReader(source);
BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(fr);
if (source.isDirectory())
System.out.println("is a directory");
FileWriter fw = new FileWriter(temp);
BufferedWriter out = new BufferedWriter(fw);
boolean eof = false;
String inChar = "";
String outChar = "";
do {
inChar = in.readLine();
if (inChar != null) {
if (inChar.startsWith(sourceString))
inChar = (" 64 64");
else {
outChar = (inChar);
out.newLine();
outChar = (inChar);
out.write(outChar);
} else
eof = true;
} while (!eof);
in.close();
out.close();
boolean deleted = source.delete();
if (deleted)
temp.renameTo(source);
} catch (IOException e) {
System.out.println("Error... " + e.toString());
} catch (SecurityException se) {
System.out.println("Error... " + se.toString());
}the listfiles() method is part of the checking process i am going thru to make sure im not going mad (some would say a lost cause...) -
PeopleSoft XML Publisher report error with java.io.FileNotFoundException
Hi,
I have created two reports using XML Publisher in Peoplesoft Financials. The two reports are not related and they were submitted for processing separately. The first report completes without any issues. The second report results in error with the following message:

The weird thing is I was able to run this report without any issues few weeks ago although another user also ran into same error. The PeopleCode step that has been identified is essentially same in the two reports. I checked the app server and the directory does exist as well as the xml files for the two reports. The problem does not occur in test environment, just in production. Any help would be appreciated.We encounter the same problem. Did you get the answer for this issue? Thanks in advance.

SagarikaHi,
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /apps/oracle/DEV/inst/apps/DEV_hlt439erplap001/logs/appl/conc/out/o559655.out (No such file or directory)Most probably this file is not created (since no changes have been done recently, so definitely it is not a permission issue), and if there are any log files generate at the client side it should help in investigating the issue.
Thanks,

I am installing OIM/OAM in a cluster configuration using release 11.1.1.7.
I looked at the EDG here:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28280_01/core.1111/e12035/toc.htm
And its pointing me to the 11.1.1.5 version
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/core.1111/e12035/toc.htm
So that is the guide I am following.
I am at this step:
18.1.5.2 Integrating Oracle Access Manager with Oracle Identity Manager by Using idmConfigTool
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/core.1111/e12035/wiring.htm#sthref356
When I run the config tool I get SEVERE messages like this one:
SEVERE: java.io.FileNotFoundException: ./config/jps-config.xml (No such file or directory)
Any suggestions on how to fix this ?
Please note that I can see jps-config.xml under the domain configuration in the fmwconfig directory.

JDev 11.1.1.1.0 + ADF+ BC4J application on Tomcat6 -
Hello,
I am in the processing porting a J2EE based application deployed originally in OC4J to WLS. I am not changing anything as far as J2EE/Web configuration files such as web.xml. Whenever I hit the URL of the application, I am getting the below exception.
What does usually "java.io.FileNotFoundException: Response: '404: Not Found' for url...." indicate?
If you could please give me some pointers to narrow down the places to look, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mustafa
