Hello,
my assumption is that you have switched on SSL client authentication on the port you use for the Secure Login Web Client (the optional request flag).
Please try to configure to use another port without SSL client authentication requesting for the Secure Login Web Client or switch off the "request" for the Client Authentication Mode in SSL configuration in NW SSL Admin on the existing port (if you do not need it).
best regards
Alexander Gimbel

Anyone have a solution to this error. This came up on a clean vista install.
Please post this question again on the Java Plug-In forum:
http://forum.java.sun.com/forum.jspa?forumID=30 -
My web page uses a Java Applet to allow my visitors to replay chess games; the Chess Viewer Deluxe applet was written by Nikolai Pilafov some time ago and has been working properly for some time (until recently). I don't monitor this part of my site regularly so I am not sure when it began to fail. On his web site [http://chesstuff.blogspot.com/2008/11/chess-viewer-deluxe.html] he has a link to check LiveConnect object functionality (which fails for OBJECT tags). His recommendation is to "seek platform specific support which might be available from the JRE developers for your platform".
I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Until I checked the LiveConnect object functionality, I was unable to identify the source of the console error messages. This does seem to be the smoking gun.
Is Apple aware of this problem? Are these classes no longer supported? Has anyone else had this problem? You can attempt to recreate the problem locally by going to my web page: http://donsmallidge.com/DonSmallidgeChess.html
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

in my forms/java i have placed my jar files listed in the frmall.jar

Hello,
Whenever I try to visit websites that have a java applet I get a dialogue with the following error:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: loader.class.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling java, and also adding the -xmx and -xms parameters for java applet runtime setting in control panel with various values from 128m to 1g.
The applet at http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1 does work and reports "CONGRATULATIONS, you have the Latest version of Java!", "Java Runtime Version 1.6.0."
I have been experiencing this problem ever since I installed Windows Vista Home Premium a day or two ago. Any help is appreciated.
Regards
Greg

I was install j2re-1_4_05_windows_i586_i.exe and copy weblogic.jar file in true directory .I set the archive attribute of the applet tag to weblogic.jar path.
Can any body help me!
Thank a lotHi Famoniri,
I guess you have used weblogic specific libraries for looking up. IE does not know about this class and hence java.lang.ClassNotFoundException.
If the above is the cause of the problem, try packaging the weblogic jar files with the applet(not a good idea!) or use the standard javax.naming packages(may be a good idea!).
The problem causer is weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactoryDelegate.newRootNamingNodeStub which is trying to load classes which are not prsent in its viscinity.
Let me know if this helps.

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error when running a form
Hello,
On a Windows 2003 64 bits server I have installed Oracle Application Server 10gR2 10.1.2.0.2 (Infrastructure + Business Intelligence and Forms option). I also upgraded to Portal 10.1.4. All components are up and running.
I wanted to test if Forms services are functional using the test form provided by OAS at installation (test.fmb/.fmx).
Steps executed:
1) Start -> Programs ->Oracle Application Server 10g -> Forms Services -> Run a form on the web for form=test.fmx
or in the IE browser:
2) http://pwr-hp-srv.replynet.prv:7778/forms/frmservlet?form=test.fmx
The applet is not starting and I receive the following error:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.forms.engine.Main
What does this mean? What should I do to make it work?
Any help will be appreciated.
Tahnk you.
danielaHello again,
I solved the problem.
In Control Panel -> JInitiator administration console , the option "Use browser settings" has to be unchecked.

Thanks & Regards,
KavithaHi James, Yes i do know that the class is not found during run time. The actual place where i need to use this function module is a different DC. But as i face this problem, for testing purpose i tried using it in the same DC where the model exists. I get the exception there too.
It occurs exactly in the line where i bind the function module in my init method.
Line 191 in my init method is this,
// bind the "get document" FM
Z_Hjm0033_Get_Merged_Document_Input document = new Z_Hjm0033_Get_Merged_Document_Input();
wdContext.nodeZ_Hjm0033_Get_Merged_Document_Input().bind(document);
For your information, the class not found Zhjm0001_Document_Id is a data element to which one of the function module's (Z_Hjm0033_Get_Merged_Document) import parameter is associated with.
I could not locate the constructor which you are asking for. I searched in gen_ddic and gen_wdp. Can you help?
Thanks,
Kavitha

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: MyApplet
Hi everybody!
I have a problem with loading my applet on the other machines than mine. On my computer everything seems to be fine and my applet works perfectly, but when I try to run it on the other computers, I always get the following error:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: MyApplet
Just to mention, my class files are in the same directory as html file, the case is correct and all the images I use are also there. The html code is following:
<applet code="MyApplet.class" width=200 height=170>
</applet>
I cannot think of anything else I could try.
Thanks in advance!If MyApplet is in a package, then that could explain why you get that error. If e.g. the full class name is mypackage.MyApplet, then you have to move MyApplet into a folder mypackage that is in the folder with the html file. And the code tag should be mypackage.MyApplet.
If MyApplet is inside a jar file, then you will have to include it in a codebase attribute.
I don't know what else could give you that error. -
Help:java.lang.ClassNotFoundException
we have one application.We are calling ejb through applet.
We have sybase EAServer3.6.1 and jaguar 3.6.1.Java code is in jdk118 and ejb1.0.
Our architacture is: applet<->ejb<->server.
Our ejb is deployed on server.That we are calling our ejb through applet.Whole code for applet and ejb is lying on server.When we run our application through browser from different m/c we are getting two errors.
1)com.ms.security.SecurityExceptionEx.
2)powersoft.powerj.jaguar.InitialContextException: javax.naming lookup failed for component: HelloEJBPackage/HelloEJB
Exception: [Root exception is [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.rmi.Remote]javax.naming.NamingException]javax.naming.NamingException.
When I set classpath on each m/c.
i.e (c:/prog/sybase/shard/sun/jdk118/lib/classes.zip) my application is running fine it just gives warning for securiety not for lookup method failed.
Our system is in production.We can not make setting for individual clients.We need our applet should take classes from server not from client m/c.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem?If the client is created using powerj, pl cross verify the code for the lookup() in the client with component properties in the jaguar server.
check the component properties , in the installed packages of the jaguarCTS , under jaguar manager of the sybase central java edition.

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Animate
Hi,
I noticed that other developers are facing same issue, but here what happens with my applets .
Just for info: I'm new to Java development....
I'm using JDK 1.4.2_05 under WinMe for development purposes and using Dreamweaver 2.0 (little bit old) but don't think it matters.
I published my web pages on my ISP's web server. Some of those pages contain "simple" applets.
1. When I access my web site from the computer where the JDK is installed, the display is correct and I can see the applets working fine.
Then I go: Tools> Internet options > (Tab) Advanced
I uncheck the option: Use Java 2 1.4.2_05 for applets.
My applets in the web pages will stop display when accessing thru the web.
2. When I access thru another computer (I tried accessing from 2 different ones) which run under XP, I have the following error in the Javaconsole.
Microsoft (R) VM for Java, 5.0 Release 5.0.0.3810

Under "XP" I tried to change the security "Internet" and "Intranet" Java related settings in IE, but didn't make any difference.
Does anyone has a hint or a solution??
Tx in advance.I don't believe it to be a matter of OS or Browser. The JVM can not find the .class file it needs in order to run. Check to make sure all the .class files are in the working directory (or jar).
Class not found exception occurs when the JVM is attempting to load a class but can not find the .class file. This occurs when the file is not in the classpath. The classpath is the working directory by default (the directory in which the init() for applets and main() for applications is located. Move you Animate.class file into the working directory and try.
If this doesn't work I guess I don't fully understand the problem. Post more information.

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException on Mac only
Hello,
I have a graphing applet that has been working quite well for a couple of years. It was build using Corda's (http://www.corda.com/) PopChart Builder v3.0 and compiled with JRE 1.2.
In the past several months we have been having an increasing number of Mac users saying they are getting the message "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: PopChart.class". So far, Corda's support has been non-existant.
I'm just wondering if recompiling with JRE 1.4.1 might fix some of the problems. I suspect, but have no proof, that the Mac users are using OS X. Still trying to investigate this.
If anyone has any experience with similar problems, I'd love to hear from you.
Many thanks in advance,
John Heuer
XENERGY Inc.How about giving us the URL of the page with the applet?

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: long. JpdProxy call
I'm migrating a Weblogic Integration 8.5 sp5 application to Weblogic Integration 9.2 MP1. The application makes call to different JPDs through JPDProxies in java service class as follow:
WorkflowRequest wfAdmissibility = (WorkflowRequest)JpdProxyImpl.create(WorkflowRequest.class,serviceUri,null,Boolean.FALSE)
try {
wfAdmissibility.clientRequest(new Long(activity.getId()), command, new Long(userId));
WfData wfdata = wfAdmissibility.clientReturn();
return wfdata;
} catch (Exception e) {
log.info("exception", e);
throw new WorkflowException(e);
I deploy my application without problems on a cluster containing one member which is a managed server.
Everything works fine until the jpd is called at runtime. With some debug I identify that the error occurs when calling the clientRequest method in the preceding code exemple. I changed the parameters of the method from type long to Long but it's exactly the same error. I now think of a classLoader problem but I'm not familiar enough with those things. I really can't find solutions nor documentation (every doc about jpdProxy is for WLI 8.15 not 9.2).
Here is the beginning of the stack trace:
