Java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException Caused by: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError

Hi all,
I'm using jdic web browser (windows version) and customizing it for a project. I want to make an executable jar file. Since I'm using NetBeans 6.7.1, I'm getting a jar file in dist folder. Bt when I run it it does not open the jdic browser.
Then I tried java web start and make a jnlp file. When it tries to run I get the below error..

A person shared his view on "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException" but I'm not quite sure about that since the browser works nicely if I run through NetBeans. (running the project through NetBeans).
I dnt know how does this library path problem occurs
please help me..!!
thanks in advance

Yeah..! it's working :)
I just copied jdic files (jdic.jar,jdic.dll, IeEmbed.exe etc) into dict/lib/ folder and now it is working.

  • Ugly problem with java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

    Hello,
    I am writing a web service which connects to WebSphere MQ queue manager and puts a message on a queue.
    I use Eclipse and as usual I followed more or less the hints given at:
    http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jst/components/ws/1.5/tutorials/BottomUpWebService/BottomUpWebService.html
    I have chosen Tomcat 5.5.20 as target server (had to, because otherwise it does not create a server-config.wsdd file), the web service WSDL thingies and the client were created successfully.
    I have created WAR files and everything went fine when I tested the thing on JBoss.
    Bad things started after I deployed the things on the Tomcat server. When I start the client I receive java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException as a result. The web service itself does not generate any exception, but the client does (I'll post the dump later..).
    During the debug it turned that the exception is generated at the moment when the web service program tries to call any of the WebSphere functions.
    Now - 1st obvious thing was to check if I have com.ibm.mq.jar in the WEB-INF/lib directory inside my WAR files. Yep! There it was.
    So.. if the thing works just fine on JBoss and it booms on Tomcat I wonder whats the hack here? I copied all of the MQ libraries i have from JBOSS_HOME/lib to CATALINA_HOME/shared/lib and CATALINA_HOME/common/lib. Well.. that's quite ugly, because all necessary jars are inside the WEB-INF/lib directory. Anyway nothing of the above helped me running the thing on Tomcat.
    Do you have any suggestions or have anyone of you ever had such problem?

    Thanx for any ideas or help from ur side.

    Did you have any success on this?
    I also have the same problem with Tomcat 6.
    I had Tomcat 5.0 working with this code, but when we migrated to Tomcat 6.0, I am getting this exception on the clent side. I figured out that it is occuring on invoking WebSphere MQ call from the code.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I get the same error and i am not really sure what your explanation says... This problem below is the latest of a series of problems i started getting after i updated my BIRT version in Eclipse 3.3.1 and RAD 6.0... I troubleshooted and resolved most of them however i am not sure and it is not obvious to me what is required for this particular one below
    In the problems tab there is nothing to give me a clue. The exception below appears in the Websphere console and also on the page when trying to access my jsp file normally. I am not sure what is causing it, but here it is:

  • Java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

    Hi,
    I am new to EJB. i've developed my first EJB Program using Netbeans.
    Here are my classes :
    package ejb;
    import javax.ejb.Stateless;
    @Stateless(mappedName="Bean30")
    public class Bean30Bean implements Bean30Remote
    public String getResult()
    return "This is EJB 3.0 Bean";
    Remote Interface :
    package ejb;
    import javax.ejb.Remote;
    @Remote
    public interface Bean30Remote {
    String getResult();
    Calling EJB :
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    Bean30Remote br = (Bean30Remote) ctx.lookup("Bean30#ejb.Bean30Remote");
    System.err.println("EJB message is: " + br.getResult());

    I've checked on the GlassFish. It has been deployed successfully with name "EJBModule30".
    Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if i'm doing something wrong.

    That shouldn't be necessary in a JEE environment. Proper packaging is all you need to do and the container takes care of the rest.The remote client may not be in a container....
    **puts on a brown paper bag**
    In any case the name inconsistency is a nice catch, but when I check the logging:
    ejb ref resolution error for remote business interfaceejb.Bean30Remote2 [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ejb.Bean30Remote2]]I wonder if Glassfish actually contains a logging mistake where it doesn't print a space between the log text and the interface, or that someone has been doing some manual editing before posting it...

    i searched for the solution which says that it is becoz of the soap but i haven't used soap.
    So please help me for this

    Clear JAVA Caches.
    Try this:
    1) Go to Applications >Utilities > Java > and startup Java Preferences
    2) Under General Tab, go down to Temporary Internet Files section and click "Settings..." button.
    3) In the Temporary Files Settings window, click the "Delete Files.." button. Click Ok and quit application.
    4) Download your FCS Java Client Application again from your browser (http:// YOUR.IP.ADDRESS/finalcutserver) and install as usual.
    Good Luck!

  • Java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException when launching ESB

    Hello,
    I'm getting a java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException when launching ESB. I've tried restoring the archives and generating new signatures, clearing my local java cache and restarting the server.
    I'm running NW 711 SP06 and are using Java 1.6.0_14-b08 on the client (actually the same system). This used to work and the integration directory works fine.
    The full exception is below.
    Thanks (and points) for any ideas.

    A workaround: starting with the repository.jnlp file from a system where the ESB was working, I replaced all of the references to the server address, port and SID to point to the server that wasn't working and saved the resulting repository.jnlp. Clicking on that jnlp file launched the ESB without error.
    I still don't know the root cause of the problem, but this seems to be an acceptable workaround for now.

    HI,
    I also got the same problem. It were throwing the java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException while the running xjc.bat from <jaxb installed dir>\bin\ and refering the schema through full path.
    I am current running with j2sdk1.4.1_01 and jwsdp1.1.
    The solution which worked out for me was
    Just go to directory where you saved the xml schema file(.xsd file).just modify the System path to refer xjc.bat and taht's it.
    Run the xjc with XmlSchema file name with output package name and target directory like follows:
    xjc "XmlSchema.xsd" -d <targetdirectory> -p <packagename>
    Hope this will help
    Regards,
    Atul

  • AxisFault: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

    Hi all,
    this is really really weird.
    I am having a service, where I send files and an own datatype to.
    Well, this all works very fine (after lots of "trial/error" ;-) ).
    But now, I want to use jacksum to compare the checksum of the transferred file and before and after the transfer.
    The strange thing is, the code works when I run the service as a java application.
    But when I call it from my client I get an error in a row which definetly is not wrong!
    The error is (well, this error message really didn't help me at all!):

    Hope, anyone can help me, because I'm really stuck in that problem
    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Yeah I have to agree, it was pretty simple and if you dont understand the concept of a build path within an IDE you probably should be reading some more basic tutorials than those centered around web services.
    That wasnt meant as an insult either, but I doubt you would really understand what it is that you are doing.
    Lots of things could cause an invocation target exception, not just a missing jar file so if you are getting this exception the solution on this page could well be wrong in your situation.
    You should look for the actual cause of this exception on your application server where the web service in exposed from, and\or read the javadoc below.
    [Invocation Target Exception|http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/lang/reflect/InvocationTargetException.html]

    Thamarai,
    Can you provide more information on your jws ? Also can you start the server
    from the command line with verbose option. This will cause
    weblogic_debug.log to be generated in the domain folder.

  • Catching java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

    Hi all,
    Our Windows NT service developed in Java is throwing exception
    java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException when run as a service.
    The same code does not throw this exception when run interactively.
    We are trying to get a list of files in particular folder.
    The suspect line of code is:
    fLogFiles = fLogFolder.listFiles();
    where fLogFolder is File object pointing to a folder.
    My guess is this is permissions issue but running
    the service by the administrator also causes the problem.
    I tried to catch the exception with
    ========================================================
    catch (java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException ex)
    ex.getTargetException().printStackTrace();
    ============================================
    but compiler gives this error
    exception java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException is never thrown
    in the body of corresponding statement
    I know for sure that the exception is thrown there.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    TIA

    How do you use Java in a NT Service? If you are using
    JavaService or some other "multi-purpose" service
    launcher, then you are probably registering the method
    that should be run as service by name, and the
    launcher then calls that method using reflection? My
    guess is that either the code trying to invoke your
    method is throwing the exception because of some
    environment problem - or your code throws some other
    exception that is then translated to
    InvocationTargetException on their end of invoke().
    Hard to say without more information though.
    Br - J
    We use com.ms.service package.
    It works fine. The service monitors MQSeries queue and creates files out of messages. We wanted to check for duplicate contents and hence
    I'm trying to get to existing messages.

  • Java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException and OutOfMemoryError non heap

    Hi,
    After tomcat running 3,4 days well with 75 users, suddenly we are facing InvocationTargetException caused by OutOfMemoryError for 3,4 users some times. The JAVA_OPTS options are well configured as observed no heap error issue. Heap utilization is only 60% but Foud that CodeCache is reaching maximum. As codecache is no heap,so it may not provide outofmemory issue. Currently everyday outof production time we are restarting server to avoid sudden exception in production. The following is the exception we received as suggestion of finding the root cause.
    We are using XForms xslt & xpl's in which our spring integrated java dynamically compiled code will be called.

    Hi,
    we have observed memory usage with probe in tomcat. Found no issue with non heap of permgen space. We are generating some dynamic classes which are around 30 for entire application. It is working for 3 days . Even in probe found that perm gen space is gradually decreasing.
    When perm gen outofmemory exception arrived (we reduced and tested ) in the logs we are getting the Error specifying it is OutOfMemory because of PermGen space not enoug.
    But CodeChache is reaching it's maximum as observed in probe and Error message is as above withou heap/perm gen/ other details.
