Java Message???  Geez...

I'm not even sure this question belongs here, but this Java message popped up while browsing using Safari.
While searching for info. on horse bits (using Metacrawler and Google), I get this Java message (cannot remember exact wording): " This site will list in your computer adult sites that you have visited. These may compromise your marriage, friendships and career. Spyware may be tracking you and information such as credit card numbers may be a security risk. Would you like to scan for such files and remove them?"
This message looked authentic- typical Java font, and Safari icon, etc. What is more, I've never been to any adult sites (Really! lol) So not knowing what to do, but curious as to whether this was some kind of virus, I went ahead and clicked scan and remove files. Earlier, I tried to backtrack my path by going through my history, and seeing if the Java window would pop up again. (It didn't.)
What the heck is/was this? My goodness, I've never encountered such a message! Thanks for any help- I cannot imagine what's in my computer now. I feel like it's alive.

iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.3.5)

I just got an iMac G in Jan 06, after a 15 year absence from computers! While trying to print a national forest map, Safari unexpectedly quit. I eventually wound up with a Java Script prompt that also looked legit, but the message just did not "jive" with Java. It said "if my computer has been running slower than normal, it may be infected with Adware or Spyware. WinAntiSpyware 2006 performs a FREE scan on your system. Download Now." I hit the cancel button and darn if I didn't get the WinAntiSpyware screen anyway. (It told me that I had 38 security threats.) There was not an exit button only a Click Here button to "Search for Spy and Adware Now Free." I quit Safari immediately. When I tried to get the map again, the same thing happened in the same sequence. Only the second time I got the WinAntiSpyware screen, I had 52 security threats!!
My questions are the same as yours... What's going on? How often does this happen? and Do we need to be worried about it? What if it keeps happening?
As I said in another forum, I feel like granny trying to cross an interstate.

  • Clearing JAVA Message Queue in PI 7.1

    Hi Experts
I am working on a file to File Scenario, and file has been picked up on the sender CC and mesaages have been sent to JAVA queues, But the messages are stuck on the JAVA queues,
    Java Queue name: File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/SystemRecv
How can I clear the JAVA message queue in PI 7.1
    Thanks
    PR

If the messages are on the queue, usually one of the actions must be performed: a) Fix the related scenario and restart the messages or b) Manually cancel the messages. This is also advised on the note below under item "3. Troubleshooting Archiving / Deletion in the Adapter Framework"
[Note 872388 - Troubleshooting Archiving and Deletion in PI|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/872388]
If you are having performance problems, please check if the messages are taking long time in TBDL/Holding status. Let us know if this is the case.

  • Java Message Queue/ JMS Vendor performance.

    Hi,
I need some help from you folks. In our system we are dealing with large number (tens of thousands) of operations per second. I'm doing some research in order to determine if we can use JavaTM Message Service (JMS) API in this system. I red that Java Message Queue was voted "Best Java Messaging Tool" by Java Developer's Journal readers and JMQ now marked by iPlanet[tm] E-Commerce Solutions. So I'm looking for numbers. How many clients/operations iPlanet or other JMS vendors can support per second. Unfortunately I didn't find any concrete example of built systems, number of maximum operation supported per second.
Please response to [email protected] also.
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel Drazner

Following configuration: pIII 1GHz, standard vm settings, JBoss 2.4.4, jdk1.3.3 sun
My project (probably good optimized) has following performance:
    - asynchronous sending message to queue:20 ms
    - synchronous (send/replay) 200 ms
This are statistics for single thread, but this is some how scalable, so for 20 parallel threads you will have the same performance.
Topics are much faster, but I need PTP messaging

    Hi Ashwin,
I'm afraid this isn't the forum for Java Message Queue. It is the forum for Oracle MessageQ, a different product altogether. I'm not sure which forum covers Java Message Queue.

if you just want to install messaging server on a single host, for evaluation purpose, in the documentation
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-4879

  • Solaris 10 and Java Messaging Server

How do you install java messaging server?

It's been quite a while since I worked with Trend. I do not know the current product, but if it's the same as the old, called by command-line, the walkthrough we did for 5.2 is still totally valid:

  • Sun Java Messaging Server help.

I have currently running netsacpe messaging server on solris 7. I want to upgrade or change my mail server now. I am intrested in Sun Java Messaging Server 6.
Here i have few questions in my mind.
Will it only install on solaris 10 (linux not) ?
    Can I upgrade my NMS 4.1 and Solaris 7 into to SJMS 6 w / without solaris 10 ?
If I seprate install it can I able to migrate my old NMS 4.1 into SJMS 6 ?
And lastly Solaris 10 and SJMS are free or not (without commercial support) ?
If all things goes in my favour then please point me to the right how-to or docs.
    Thanks for reading.

Well i have started work on it. Two question more.
    1. Does whole JES is free to use without support or i
need to purchase any component. No purchase of any kind is needed.
    >
    2. Is it possible to migrate NMS 4.1 directory server
users by using ldif to this new directory server. Absolutely. It's even documented how to do it.
    check in the 5.2 documentation:
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/816-6734-10
    As for anti-spam and anti-virus:
Our engineers believe that they know how to build an excellent mail system. They make no claim to be experts at creaging spam or virus scanners.
We do have, however, integration with SpamAssassin (free spam scanning), and it's quite easy to integrate Clam AV anti-virus (also free_.
Why is our Messaging Server better than other products?
First, it's the highest performance of all we've been able to test.
Second, the mail server is extremely stable, and scales to systems holding up to a million mailboxes on a single hose. This reduces your cost of administration.
Third. the system is higly resistant to crashing to the point you have a lot of downtime.
Fourth, we go to extreme efforts to never loose a message

NB: the above commands will only work with Delegated Administrator 7.0 which introduced the "im" service. For DA6.4 you would use "-S mail, cal".

  • J2EE Connector? Java Messages?  which?

I am designing our J2EE product that will put our legacy data into
the J2EE environment. We have a J2SE API to access the data.
We want clients to have access to the legacy system without
each client needing to make their own connection directly to the system.
The API for our J2SE has synchronous and asynchronous calls.
I have read about J2EE Connectors and I see our data server being
an Enterprise Information System (EIS) and a need for a Resource Adapter.
Is this right? Is this how others have brought data from legacy systems to the
    J2EE environment?
Should I use Java Messages to send the asynchronous data?
Since the queues are static and multiple clients will want the data,
a set of static queues could become bottlenecks for several clients.

Yes, this is correct. Your backend system is exactly what the connector architecture authors had in mind as an EIS. A resource adapter would be, in my opinion, the best way to connect your J2EE app to the EIS data.
Should I use Java Messages to send the asynchronous
    data?
Since the queues are static and multiple clients will
    want the data,
a set of static queues could become bottlenecks for
several clients. If I remember the spec for the JCA 1.5 correctly, the application server should 'publish' (i.e. deliver) the message to all message driven beans that are configured (by means of the deployment descriptor) to accept messages of a given type. So delivering the message to multiple clients should be no problem.

I suggest you Google for [servlet tutorials|http://www.google.com/search?q=servlet+tutorial] and [JSP tutorials|http://www.google.com/search?q=jsp+tutorial] and go through them thoroughly. • Java message board

How do i write a Java message board that is concurrently accessible from multiple client message viewers on different hosts on a departmental network?

Unless you're doing this as an excercise, I wouldn't recommend writing your own forum when there are so many available off-the-self. Once such is Phorum (www.phorum.org).
But if you really want to do this yourself (and don't want to pay the two previous posters :-) ), I would think the best way would be to run the forum on an intranet web server and use a database for storing the data. Use servlets to display the forum.

  • JAVA Message Queue in PI 7.1

    Hi Experts
I am working on a File 2 File Scenario where My file is picking up on the sender side, and on the receiver side I do not see the file,
I can see the messages on the ABAP stack SXMB_MONI(It is been processed sucessfully) however when I look at the END - to END monitoring the receiving message sits on the queue in scheduled status(To be delivered status)
How can I look at the Java queue in PI 7.1 where exactly the message is sitting
    Thanks
    PR

To be delivered  is not a good status at all ... This mesage will come when there are no threads available for processing the message in the adapter...
you can check the same in the adapter Messaging System where you ca nsee some of the threads might be running laready and might be showing status as Delivering...
In order to get  process the same need to clear of the messages in delivering state..
for seeing the messages which are in delvering check in RWB end to end monitoring.. or click on adapter egine status> additional data> check the queue of the receiver adapter specific queue...
to know more detials of the audit log go to http://host:port/MessagingSystem/..
select tab SystemStatus for the same
