JavaFX and Netbeans set homepage href and codebase attribute

Hi everyone.
Is there a option in netbeans to set the _browser.jnlp attribute "homepage href" and "codebase". so that when I start the Build Project everytime is set right. and i dont have to change it manually ?

Hi. thanks for your advise with the javafxpackager help, I found the option -appCodebase.
with this option everything work fine. (codebase and hompage href url is set)
I have now this option in the netbeans project property as additional fx packager option.

Hello Michele.
First of all, I should warn you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment is outdated and is no longer supported. Please install the latest version for maximum speed, security and functionality. It's completely free, as always. You can get it through Firefox update service (Help > Check for updates...) or at www.getfirefox.com
That aside, I don't understand what the exact nature of your problem is, but this is what you probably need to know:
- to change your homepage, you can go into Tools > Options > General and enter the desired address (or addresses) into the "Home Page" field.
- if, for some reason, your home button is not visible in your toolbar, you can put it back by either restoring your toolbar back to its default configuration (go into View > Toolbars > Customize... and click "Restore default set") or by putting it where you want (go into View > Toolbars > Customize... and drag and drop the home page button into where you want it in the toolbar).

Using JSP to set form data and automatically submit

I am using JSP to extract the authentication details form the header, and then set these values and automatically submit them them to a javascript cookie function. I can extract the information, but setting and submitting to javascript seems to be a problem. I don't want to modify the original code because that may change, and if it does change, they can just copy the jsp block to the new page. Plus there may be more pages where I will need to do the same. Any suggestions?

I was wrong about the cookie. It doesn't set it in that html file, it just checks to see if a cookie exists, if it does, it passes the user through. Normally I would use a cookie bean to do this, but again I have to do this for multiple sites which have different values and encryption. I just want to pass the credentials through and then let the back end do the rest. Do you know of a better way? Thanks for replying.

Not sure what you are saying. I was able to very quickly set up my AmEx card - no problems at all. For my PNC and Macy's cards, companies still working on being ApplePay-ready.
It will happen, just not as fast as we might like, but I think it is going to be fabulous.

Well the goods is it wasn't a windows problem it was a cloud problem. apple helped me fix it but again it shows the compatibility problems between the two. sending back apple products and sticking with windows. I don't know if your a tech or what because of your bold verbage but your cut and dry answer was not only incorrect but condescending. Please, you don't have to respond because i will be closing the window and won't have need of it again with experiencing this type of response to my query I will choose to look elsewhere for assistance. just wanted to let you know how i felt about your feedback. Group policy to set homepage

I am trying to create a group policy to redirect everyone's home page to be the company site. I downloaded the adm and enabled the homepage policy and put in the URL. However it still doesn't correctly redirect. I have logged out and in to apply the policy. I set it in the default and locked settings and it still doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.

How can i get the homepage i want to remain the perminate homepage? I have done everything it tells you to set homepage and it only saves it while the current browser is open. When I close out browser and reopen it is gone.

When i set the homepage of my choice it will only remain until i close out the browser. once i reopen the browser it is no longer there. The past version of firefox would keep the homepage of choice. I have done everything that is necessary to set homepage and it will not save it. What needs to be done?

Why does safari load in to the last web page and not the set homepage

I recently installed Lion 10.7.1. In Safari, I have my preferences set at a preferred Homepage, however, each time I search the web at other sites, and after closing the web, and upon re-opening Safari, the last web page opens up and not my preferred Homepage.

Netbeans 6.9.1 and JavaFX formatter

Is there any idea why Netbeans 6.9RC1 has a better javafx formatter than 6.9.1?
I'm always using the formatter with below configuration.
extend tab to space = no
all curly brackets are on new line
Netbeans 6.9 RC1 has deficiency in some points:
-insert a before a.content[i]
-i18n strings : ##""
-in string expressions: "...{some-expression}"
But Netbeans 6.9.1 has also same bugs. Even worse. My 800 lines of code become 1000 lines when I ran the formatter (adding extra spaces after each keyword).
I wonder whether the fx team is using the formatter in netbeans. I really ask this not for criticizing. Before 6.9.1, I guessed the problem of formatter was that only small code segments were tested.
But in 6.9.1, some sample codes in formatter are also wrong formatted.

JavaFX and NetBeans Integration Request

How about it team? Please integrate SB into the next release of NetBeans (7.4.1).

OK so I am able to call SB from inside the NetBeans 7.4 IDE. This is not integration. Its a shortcut. I mean, why do we have two separate tools? NetBeans IDE and SceneBuilder. We don't pop open SQLDeveloper when we work on queries, so why pop open SB?
Integration would be that the capabilities of the SceneBuilder would be available IN the IDE such as they are for Swing or for databases. Integration means you would have the palette available with the JavaFx components. It would be the current version of SB. ( When SB2 comes out, it would have all the functionality of SB2 )
From reading the scant information out there, SB2 is in development, why not integrate it into the IDE and make it one spot to do your development? Take JavaFx mainstream and integrate it into the IDE for real.

The Scene Builder team is working to create a product that integrates well with many IDEs, and NetBeans is one of them. As you might have heard from the last JavaOne, we are working on an API, called Scene Builder Kit, which will allow the integration of Scene Builder panels and functionality directly into the GUI of an IDE.
Based on this, we hope to collaborate with the NetBeans team -- and with teams from other IDEs -- to provide as tight an integration as we can, but ultimately this is a partnership which requires work from both the IDEs and SB teams.
As crucial as we see a tight IDE integration for our users' productivity, we feel that a SB standalone tool is also needed for those of our users who do not wish to use an IDE because, e.g., they focus solely on the layout and styling of a GUI.
