JavaScript Errors in Enterprise Portal side

Hi all,
I am facing a very serious problems with JavaScript Errors in Enterprise Portal related to SALESWORKBENCH application which is developed using PDK,EPCF,JAVASCRIPT and CSS concepts .

salesworkbench might be an old applicaton i guess and Ep 6.0 is not compatible after integrating with SALESWORKBENCH with respect to EPCF ( ENTERPRISE PORTAL CLIENT FRAMEWORK )

BACKEND SYSTEM error in ENTERPRISE PORTAL

Hi all,
We are on SRM 5.0 SP13.
We are using Enterprise portal as the Interface to log onto SRM system.When we log in as Buyer,on the very first screen in EP,we get the foll error in a pop up box:
"FAILED TO CONNECT TO BACKEND SYSTEM.CHECK YOUR SYSTEM DEFINITION AND USER PREVILIGES".
After we click on OK in the pop up,the messaeg goes away and we are able to run all the transaction fine.
Is the above issue related EP roles/authorization or it something we need to check in SRM system??

Javascript error throws the portal theme configuration page

General Description: Javascript error and jump to the portal theme
configuration page
EP: NW04s SP12 including KMC
We have a problem when we entry to the portal, a javascript
error happens and immediately jumps to the portal theme configuration
page. We entry at the portal with a user that have assigned the next groups.

When we entry with this user, the browser show us this javascript error:

And immediately show the portal theme configuration page.
We need that the user see the page assigned, but this error shows him
always the portal theme configuration page. This kind of error happens with
other roles too. We've found a workaround
for this situation, doing click on the first level navigation, the
LR_MX_PAG_Edicion page shows normally.

Javascript error when loading Portal Content

I used "NW04 SP16 sneakpreview".
Installation went fine but I can't seem to get anything in my portal content PCD. Below on the left I have Javascript errormsg which states the following:

Error: 'undefined' is null or not an object
Code: 0
Url: (very long url)
I thought it had something to do with the errormsg that I received about the encryption config failure (see below) so I executed sap note 796540:
If you installed the J2EE Engine with "weak encryption", the most probable cause for problems with user mapping is incorrect configuration. To resolve this, set the UME property "ume.usermapping.unsecure" to "TRUE", restart the J2EE server, and try again.
But this dit not the trick unfortunantly.
I also checked for permissions for my Admin but he has Super_Admin so that should be ok to I think.
Perhaps it has something to do with not having a System Landscape defined but how can I do this?
Or is it something else that I have overseen? Perhaps installing a license? (which I did not do yet)

Java Iview runtime error at enterprise portal while accessing BW reports

We are facing an issue while navigating through one of the BW reports at Portal, as it is showing Java Iview run time errror.
Earlier we had the issue of Webass engine restart, but after increasing the heap dump we are facing the issue as Java Ivew run time error.

Javascript error in Content Admin- Portal Content- iview Navigation window

Hi friends,
We are in the process of portal migration and as a part of this, we installed NW04 SPS 14 using Rapid Installer and then upgraded it to SPS 18. The components we upgraded are:
Java component
Portal Platform
Knowledge Management and Collaboration
Adobe Document Services
BI UDI
BI MMR
After upgradation, when we logged in to portal, we were not able to see/browse Portal pages/Roles/Iviews/Worksets (PCD Contents) under Content Administration->Portal Content.
Again, whichever window is there for navigation of PCD, we are not able to see the contents of PCD.For e.g. System Administration -> System Configuration.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

We have just installed SAP Netweaver Portal 7.0. We get an error of javascript when we navigate to Content Administration->Portal Content and due to this Portal Content Folder is not displayed. Getting javascript error in portal admin

Dear all,
When i tried to add a content item in the CMS of Weblogic Portal 8.1, an "unterminated string constant" javascript error is displayed and i can't add the content. This happens only when the content item is of a type that contains one or more calendar type property.
Did anybody also encounter that and have some idea how to solve it?

Getting a Javascript Error On New Azure Portal

I am getting a JavaScript error on new portal when I right click on monitoring chart and select Edit Chart. Below is the screenshot for the same.

I suggest you to clear all cookies and restart your IE. Let us know the results.
Also, I suggest you to try lauching Azure portal on a different browsers such as Firefox, Safari etc.

1. We tried running the export with SIDADM user as well and followed the note 970518, but to end up with the same error.
2. We are already using the lated Installtion master.

Error when configuring Web Dispatcher for SSL with Enterprise Portal

We are in the process of configuring the Web Dispatcher using SSL to connect to our Enterprise Portal (the Web Dispatcher will be in the DMZ). We have followed all of the help.sap.com guides and now have SSL listening on the EP side (port 8103). We are now receiving this strange certificate error when we start the Web Dispatcher:

Urgent: Javascript Error in Portal Navigation

Hi,
We are using EP 6.0 SP 13.
We are facing an issue of Java script error in the portal.
The areas in which the portal is affected are as follows:
1. When we open the Login page of the portal, the Font Type, Size and
formatting and the style of "Log in" button is not normal.
2. After we login, Any component that uses javascript is not working
3. Whenever we execute any BW report we are getting alert box with
message:
"Session Manager will not work!"
4. When we try to log out, again we get scripting error.
5. We are also not able to navigate in User Mangement and Content Management.
Please help as soon as possible.

Error while calculating SPS for NW 7.3 Enterprise Portal

Hello,
I have a Solution Manager 7.01 SPS 28 (ST     400     0028     SAPKITL438     SAP Solution Manager Tool)
I want to download via MOPZ the newest SPS for NW 7.3 with Enterprise Portal.
I configured the SLD on the NW 7.3 side successfully.
The NW 7.3 transmitted the data to the SMSY.
I can create the system also successfully in the "Product Systems" and "Technical Systems"
and also created successfully the "Logical Components" and can assign to a "Solution"
When I try to calculate the SPS automatically for the NW 7.3 Enterprise Portal, the following

Hello Alexander,
I was having a similar problem, but only with the abap-related NW 7.3 components.
Please check the following note: Note 1595918 - JSPM: Validation fails due to mismatch at software features
   Do a backup of your BC_SL_SWFEATURE, delete those components you don't have, according to the usage types you have installed.
   In the portal, go to NWA -> Configuration -> Infrastructure -> SLD Data Supplier Configuration and click "Send and Collect Data".
Verify that the data is refreshed in your SLD.
In the SMSY, unassign the system from all the logical systems, delete the system, delete the technical java component and run the Setup System Landscape to create the system from your SLD.
After the system is generated, assign it to your Logical Component and try again.
   Or, instead of deleting / creating the system, maybe you can just refresh it using the steps from the note Note 1468559 - SMSY: Single system update from SLD

Error while trying to apply SP20 to Enterprise Portal 6.0

I am trying to upgrade my Enterprise Portal from SP13 to SP20, I am getting the following error message on one of the last steps.

EAR file uploaded to server for 10501ms.
ERROR: Not updated. Deploy Service returned ERROR:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Only Administrators have the right to perform
this operation.
at com.sap.engine.services.deploy.server.DeployServiceImpl.update
(DeployServiceImpl.java:656)
I also noticed that I cannot log on to the Visual Admin, I am getting the following error
Error while connecting
com.sap.engine.services.jmx.exception.JmxSecurityException: Caller
Guest not authorized, only role administrators is allowed to access JMX
Does anyone know what is causing this error?

Hi Alma,
This is one of the security issue.We had faced it sometime back.We searched some CSN's and found a solution.
Go to Service Market palce and download the latest Cryptographic Tool kit (Service Market place---->software downloads)
You will get a sca/sda something like tc/iaik./security(something like this)
Deploy this on to your instance using your SDM.
After that,Restart the Portal patching.It will go fine.

Error while publishing the query in enterprise portal

Hi EP experts,
One of the user is executing the query in enterprise portal. The user is assigned to proper roles in ABAP BI system.
But when clicking on the query the user gets the below error

Have you created BI iView?
If so you need to give the TEMPLATE=<template id>
and preview the iview from portal.
