JavaScript errors - Just started out of the blue

Running Dreamweaver MX (6.1) and have been fine for quite a
while - No new apps on the machine other then what Microsoft sends
over the wire for updates (Windows XPPro, sp3) but now if I am
editing more then one html page at the same time, if I switch from
one to another, I get:
while executing getCurrentValue in AddressURL.htm, a
JavaScript error occured
There is no javascript code on my pages and I've uninstalled
and re-installed Dreamweaver twice, the last time with my Kaspersky
2009 turned off, followed all the troubleshooting items from the
prior posts of similar errors (and yes, step #4) and can't get rid
of this - Running no extensions, no servers, just one local site.
These are html pages I have used for years - Something broke
dreamweaver and I don't know what nor how to find it.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know as it is
incredibly annoying.

I have the same issue after installing the new update and reinstalling iTunes doesn't fix the issue.
I found disabling Apple push (APSDaemon.exe) from the start up will stop the error from appearing, however this will disable wireless syncing. If you don't use it than it shouldn't be an issue.
I'm using a PC so you can disable it using the msconfig command and turning it off in the Startup tab. I don't know if Mac users are experiencing the same issue. Hopefully Apple will fix it in their next update.

In iPhoto the double click to enlarge a photo is now a ! in a triangle and I am Unable to print from iPhoto. This has just happened out of the blue.

In iPhoto I have lost the double click that opensup photos, the double click now appears as a ! in a triangle. At the same time I have lost the print facility in iPhoto. This happened out of the blue and I have been unable to reconcile either problem. Can anyone help please.

The ! means that iPhoto has lost connection to the origianl file.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Safari will not open, just happened out of the blue

I just tried to open Safari and all I get is the spinning beach ball.
I have to force quite, Safari never opens.
If I switch accounts and use my wife's user profile Safari opens just fine.
I am currently using Firefox and am really missing my Safari.
Anyone have any tips?

PSE 13 opens normally, but when I try to Open a file, nothing happ ens. The Editor screen just stares back at me as if I had done nothing. Should I uninstall/reinstall?

When I do that, the only option I'm given for opening a file is "Open". not
"Open With". Right clicking on a jpeg file and clicking on Open opens the
file in Irfanview, which is the File Association for opening jpeg files. I
suppose I could change the File Association. I'll try it now.
OK, I changed the File Extension Association for .jpg and .jpeg files
to the PSE 13 Editor .exe file shown in my c:/Program Files folder, so now
clicking on any .jpg or .jpeg file opens the Editor, but again, as before,
the clicked on file does not open. It opens fine when associated with
Irfanview (opens in Irfanview, of course). And when associated with PSE
13, the PSE 13 Editor opens and appears to be ready to "receive" the
clicked on file, but nothing happens.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Rezound starts conference call out of the blue when in call and have to press a number
2 Months ago, my Rezound started opening a conference call when I press a digit while on the phone. For example, when I am checking my house voice mail and press 2 to hear my messages. My phone instantly opens a conference call with "2", and instantly makes an "eeerrrttt eeerrrttt eeerrrttt " beeping buzzing error tone.
I have spoken to customer support. They sent me a recycled rezound which I still have the same trouble with. I asked them for a new sim card but they wouldnt send me one with the new phone. Maybe that would fix this? I dont see how 2 phones can have the same odd problem, that nobody else seems to have.

Thanks for the reply. I did consider that, in fact I figure its either a 3rd party app or its the sim. I absolutely cannot seem to find which app could be causing this. The biggest problem is that its totally random. It happened today to me while I was at the Dr with my Mother. Had to call her other Dr. I called the number, pressed 1 to speak with the right department, it opened a new line and dialed 1 and switched to it by itself! I lost the call and merging the 2 calls still does not allow me back to the real call. Its astounding! The worst thing is it ONLY seems to happen when I am making an important call. The MOST important calls I make ALWAYS have this happen. When I left that Dr. office, I called that other Dr again and pressed 1 again and it worked perfect. If a phone can be possessed, then I do indeed believe my phone is suffering from demonic possession! I would gladly share all the logs and stuff. I think Verizon or HTC need to figure this one out for the sake of humanity...
ps; I did change from global mode to CDMA/LTE before I tried again today. Maybe thats related?

Another Mac not starting up out of the blue

Hello all,
I know this topic has been discussed quite a bit and I have searched through the archives. However, I figured I would post my experience in the hopes that someone out there may have insight for me which may be unique to my situation.
I have a modified G4 Digital Audio machine which over the years has given me some trouble from time to time. Usually however, I can figure out what is plaguing it and fix it.
My computer was on and had been on for some time yesterday (multiple days). As I was watching a Quicktime video, all of a sudden the computer just powered itself off. When I tried to restart the machine, the power button would glow, but nothing would start up. No startup chime, no nothing. The power button would stay lit only as long as I hold it, a red light goes on the motherboard, fans try to spin, once I release the button, everything goes dead.
PMU reset does nothing. Also, I have put a fresh battery in and that changes nothing either. I left the machine unplugged overnight, also left it without the battery, same behavior when I try to start it back up.
All of this seems like it might be the power supply, right?
I replaced the power supply about 6 months ago. Could be the case again, but I am doubtful since it was replaced and I had done nothing to cause this (no pinched cables) as the computer was running fine, then powered itself off out of the blue.
I will say that when I opened the case, the motherboard, computer contents were hotter than usual when I open the case.
Also, I noticed recently that my GeForce2 video card's fan had recently stopped spinning.
As an educated guess, I am thinking that my video card has fried since it was so hot in there and the fan has stopped spinning on it for who knows how long. Would that prevent power up and cause behavior like the glowing button?
Power supplies and video cards are not cheap items for a Mac, therefore I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for how to test this without replacing all those parts? Since I'm leaning towards it being a video card, does anyone know of other AGP video cards which may work in this machine? I've looked at replacing GeForce cards in the past, but they never say anything about being compatible with OSX. Does anyone know if they will work anyway? I'd like to get a cheaper video card to see if that may be what is causing this.

What applications are open? You can tell by viewing the Dock.
Not knowing what the installer is trying to install I would close the disk image and delete it. If you don't know where the disk image file is located Control (right) - click on the Installer icon on the Desktop and select Get Info from the contextual menu.
The Info window will show where the disk image file is located like in this screenshot:
Since the installed is generically named as is the disk image be very wary of it.

Out of the blue my cpu started heating...

out of the blue my cpu started getting hot. i noticed the wine of the fans picking up speed. and then theyd die down. so i watched my temp stat widget and sure enough the cpu keep getting hot then the fans cool it down then like three min later they pick back up oz its gettin hot again. and i only have this one safari window open. is this something wrong on with it. or have i been hacked coz i know my old pc did that when id have ppl hacked into me.

Monitor your CPU usage in your Activity Monitor and see if there are any apps or processes using a lot of CPU power. If Spotlight is indexing, fans will rev up.

My Firefox out of the blue won't start and shows not responding when I left click.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. It still show it as not responding. I have a MAC system. I have searched and can't find a fix. Please help.
