Javascripting no longer works on version 23 breaks ckeditor

My website ZenCart uses CKEditor in the admin to update product and web pages. I just replaced my hard drive and download the newest version of Firefox. The new version 23 breaks CKEditor - it no longer shows up and allows me to edit my products and pages within ZenCart. I put the old hard drive back in my machine with version 22 and CKEditor is working. I went to the content page it shows "Load Images automatically" and "Enable Javascript". I unchecked "Enable JavaScript" in version 22 and CKEditor did the same thing that it does in version 23. So I know the problem is with Version 23 because "Enable JavaScript" is now missing from the Content page under Options. This issue has basically could put me out of business because I can't add or change produce without CKEditor.
I've been working and searching the internet for a solution for 3 days. Please help me.

I found the solution without upgrading CKEditor. To the left of the address bar was a small icon. I double clicked on it. It said something about security issue with javascripting. I said to allow on this website. The CKEditor interface showed up. This fixed my problem.

Scroll Wheel no longer works in version 4.4 RC

My scroll wheel no longer works after installing Lightroom 4.4. In all previous versions, I was able to use my Logitech scroll device to adjust the sliders in the development panel. In the 4.4 version, the scroll wheel no longer works and instead of adjusting an individual slider, it scrolls the whole development panel up and down. I did uninstall the mouse driver and reinstalled but that did not work. The mouse works just fine in all other programs. I think it is a bug with the 4.4 version. I am operating in Windows 7. Any suggestions for a fix?

JNI Calls to Native Methods No Longer Work: Possible Versioning Issue ?

Hello, all. Just a quick question... is it possible that invoking a method in a JNI-compliant DLL from Java 6 will fail if the DLL's source was compiled against the JNI header files from Java 4 or 5 ? I have a DLL with methods that used to be called successfully (and now fail outright and don't even seem to be getting inside the native method), but it seems that the only thing that could have changed in the environment is the installed JRE. Even stranger, I don't get the hs_err* files anymore to indicate that the JVM crashed. Does anyone know why this might happen ? Thanks !

You could of course be doing something in the JNI code in terms of working with Java which no longer works. Just as it is at least possible that java code from one version might not work with another.
Correct error checking in the JNI code would at least correctly identify this problem however.

You seem unsure whether the JNI is being called at all, so verifying that first would be a good idea.

My auto-scale background photo on my site no longer works since version 14 it also depends on scrollbar!

Please have a look at my site www.roosboum.nl and try ctrl- and ctrl+ to zoom. If you compare this with any version of IE or Chrome you'll find that since version 14 FF has stopped properly outlining the backgroundimage.
Also I noticed in other pages, it sometimes works better if you add and remove(!) the searchbar with Ctrl F, that it's suddenly adapts to what it should have been in the first place.
Also when using a vertical taskbar in windows, FF does not see this and a horizontal scrollbar is displayed which I find highly unworkable. I now have to zoom out to see the page with scrollbar :-(
I've seen these issues on three totally different pc's and can't resolve the issue cause it was working well for years! This is a major setback cause I always advertise for using FF and now my main site is no longer displayed well.
I'm not far away from going back to chrome which I can't emphasize enough is pure disapointment.

Note that you use tags to position the menu bar, so increasing the font size or otherwise make changes that effect the text zoom can move that menu bar down. 
I also see a repeat of the top background image if full page zoom is disabled (i.e. Zoom > Zoom Text Only is selected).
You should find a better way to position that part of the page.

Javascript Menus not Working in version 2.0 per &SESSION. not interpreted

I had an application in HTMLDB 1.6 and I built javascript cascading menus using the syntax: 
<\a href="http://myserver.com:7777/pls/htmldb/f?p=104:13:">Expense Accounts</a\> (backslashes added to prevent this from displaying as link)
And they worked fine. 
After upgrading to version 2.0, each time the buttons in the menu are pressed, the browser asks for login information. That seems to be because there is no reference to session state. So I added &SESSION. to the link string.

But for some reason the string &SESSION. is not being interpreted, so instead of sending the session id to the link, sends the &SESSION. text and the browser shows an error page.
 
If you use this syntax in a link within the application, it works, but as the javascript link definition is outside the application, at the images directory, it seems it is not understanding the &SESSION. reference.
 
Is there any way to fix this?

Copy and Paste function no longer works in version 3.6

Ever since I upgraded to version 3.6 (finally after waiting for all of the crash bugs to be fixed after having to downgrade last fall) now the simple copy & paste function won't work when copying from one webpage to put link or paragraph of text into the body of an e-mail, through any of my web based mail services (Yahoo, Onebox, etc.)
So, when doing all of this version updating how could Mozilla allow such a simple function used in every program since the invention of the computer... to be disabled?

Im having this problem, and although it took time to tell because it is intermittent, it still happens when all add-ons & theme are manually disabled.
I would have to test safe mode a little bit longer to be sure it didnt happen there.
It also affects other programs (like my metapad- notepad replacement) as long as firefox is open, but does not when the browser is closed, as far as I can tell.
(version 3.6.12)
It may or may not be related, but there's also a flicker
(black screen in page window for an eyeblink) when firefox
opens or returns from maximized state, and when it opens a menu.
Both bugs only recently started.

There are no error messages. If I take out the call to this method everything works fine. When I leave in the call to this method I get a blank screen and no mail sent. Just before the version change the mail worked with the exact same code.

Easy Link 1.6 no longer works and latest version states will not work with my router

I have the WRT54G router (version 8.00.2 firmware) and the Easy Link Software I got with it no longer works correctly (version 1.6), saying I am not connected to the internet even though I clearly am connected. (I theorize that it tries to connect by pinging Linksys and I cannot ping Linksys using any method, so I think Linksys no longer accepts pings.) I downloaded the newest version, thinking it would work, and the forum states it will only work with a few routers that are more recent (I bought mine in Jan 2008.) Am I out of luck, with no verion working correctly? I appreciated the information that was found in the Easy Link Advisor software that I no longer have.

You are a legend!! I have spent countless hours uninstalling, reinstalling itunes, playing with firewall settings, reading articles on this problem!! I only have to un-sync my iphone 5 and then the airplay icon magically appeared!!! Maybe I have too many devices syncing via wi-fi, or maybe it is the Iphone syncing??
Whatever - one step and now I can enjoy my music through my house again!

Web page embedded Javascript has stopped working

Since updating somewhere around v5 or so, some embedded Javascript no longer works, despite ticking the "Allow Javascript" box.
Was hoping that v9 would have fixed this problem, but no.

Thanks cor-el, but not being computer literate I do not understand what you mean; neither do I understand any of the responses posted under http://kb.mozillazine.org/Resizing_oversize_window
What annoys me intensely is that there is an existing option to tick the box to a) "Enable JavaScript" and within that to b) "Move or resize existing windows".
What is the point of those tick boxes?
Do not mean to waste your or anyone else's time, but am ready to leave FF for just that simple problem. The way in which I open FF is such that I use an internal own-design web page with positions itself exactly where I want it on my large screen. This option has now been removed by FF; it works fine in IE.

Safari Javascript on iPad2 no longer works 8.2 and 8.3

Since updating myiPad2 to 8.2 and later 8.3, javascript elements in websites viewed with Safari and Chrome no longer work. I can successfully view/use these same websites on another iPad with an older IOS.
Here's what have tried so far:
-soft reset (home+power)
-clear safari cache/website data
-forget network
-toggle javascript on and off
-every combination of the above
-upgrade to 8.3 and repeat all of the above
Does anyone have anything to add that I could try?

@sean0826 -- this is why you don't use Java menus. Even javascript menus are a bad idea; you need to have a secondary menu system ANYTIME you have a menu system that requires a plugin or scripting to be active. NOT EVERYONE browses with that stuff on.
The only thing you can do for now is FTP to your site and add in static menus (like we did in the "old days" at the bottom of the page; or rip out the Java Menus and install static or CSS versions.
BTW where are you rmenus supposed to be. I have opera, safari, ff, and a few others. they all look the same. So if that's true, it's the plugin that's the problem, not safari.
In Opera Pogo.com works. java loads, the game is there. It does have some drawing issues but not surprised.
In Safair Pogo works fine. Just played a game of chess.

Javascript:resizeTo(1024,768); no longer works

After upgrading from version 3.6 to 14.0.1 I find that this javascript bookmark no longer works to resize the window.

Marcello, I am having the same problem. When following the advice of many in the community to start iTunes in 32-bit mode, I get the following error after I have done so:
I am running 10.9.2 on a mac mini.
I am hoping this will be fixed or at least a solid answer could be given that iTunes will no longer support certain types of media going foward.

Itunes no longer works on ipad on version 6 software

My I tunes 10.6.1 no longer works with my upgraded software ipad 2 on version 6 stating my mac needs a higher operating system (currently on 10.5.8) to then upgrade I tunes 10.7. I can no longer use my ipad with itunes simply because I have an older mac operating system. An upgrade on the mac operating system is a lot of money . The upgrade to the Mac is around $30.00 if it is still available. You need to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 - I think that's the latest SL version.

If it's an older iPod, its software is not being updated by Apple. So, I don't see how updating iTunes would make the iPod not work with the car's audio system, since iTunes just updates the song files (not how the iPod operates).
Does the iPod work by itself (play songs), when disconnected from the computer and iTunes?
