Jbl bluetooth speaker error message

I'm trying to use my JBL bluetooth speaker with my MacBook Pro, OS 10.7.5. It will connect briefly, but then cuts off, and I get an error message. I've tried deleting the device, and adding it back in, but that hasn't helped.

Could you please show me the way to discoverable the JBL ? That's my first time to used JBL so I don't know how to do that sorry and many thankssss

  • Satellite P20: BlueTooth and error message

    Hi,
Starting any of the Bluetooth utilities I am receiving the following error message.
"Could not open the Bluetooth ACPI device driver (tosrfec.sys) Try again?"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers but this had not resolved the problem.
Any suggestions how I can overcome this problem and start a Bluetooth session would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Geoff.

    Hello
I dont know which P20 you have exactly (P20-xxx) but as far as I know P20 is not delivered with Bluetooth. Some models are Bluetooth ready (P20-824). If the notebook has a Bluetooth at the bottom side of the unit there must be a small Bluetooth label. Check it. He installations image is the same for whole P20 series and it is possible that the Bluetooth utility is preinstalled but can not be used.
    Bye

  • Mac will not play sound through JBL Bluetooth speaker

My MacBook Pro will connect to the Bluetooth speaker, but refuses to play the sound through it. Seems like it isnt just me who has this issue. What can I do to connect it? Please help.
Note: It works fine with other devices.

UPDATE: Fixed this by simply disconnecting the speaker, turning the volume up full then reconnecting. Saw it on another post, didnt think it would work but surprisingly it did. Very Strange.

  • Connecting JBL bluetooth speaker to iMac

Hi,  I just purchased a JBL Charge and want to connect it to my iMac desktop.  However, my iMac cannot find the JBL Charge in Bluetooth set up.  It doesn't list the JBL in the discovered devices.  I'm running Yosemite 10.10.1.  I have no problem connecting to my MacBook Air, iPad, or iPhone.  But I want to connect to my iMac to avoid downloading music to the other devices.  Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a fix?  Thanks for your help.

    Hello billdelaney8,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you're not able to pair your JBL Charge with your iMac, but you can pair it with your other devices.
Start with these troubleshooting tips to troubleshoot the bluetooth connection on your iMac:
Bluetooth Quick Assist - Apple Support
    Check your device's system requirements
Make sure that your computer meets your Bluetooth device's system requirements—visit the device manufacturer's website for details.
    Check for a Bluetooth update
To check for new software, choose Software Update from the Apple menu (make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet). If newer Apple Bluetooth software exists, Software Update will prompt you to install it. To install an update, select the checkbox next to the software name and then click Install.
    Reduce potential signal interference
Because Bluetooth works by transmitting signals through the air, some things can interfere with connections. Avoid situations in which metal objects come between your device and computer. Don't put your computer under a metal desk or in a metal cabinet. Keep your computer away from cordless phone base stations, microwave ovens, and other electrical devices that operate on a 2.4 GHz bandwidth. Make sure that your device and computer aren't more than 30 feet apart from each other.
    Restart your computer
Sometimes a simple restart of your Mac is all it takes to get things running smoothly again. You may also want to try resetting your computer's PRAM and NVRAM.
    Reset your Bluetooth device
Try turning your device off and then on again. If that doesn't resolve the issue, see if you can reset your device—refer to the documentation that came with your device for instructions.
    Best Regards,
    Jeremy

  • MacBook Pro & JBL Charge bluetooth speaker won't pair.

My Macbook Pro will not pair with my JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker.  I am operating OSX 10.8.4. The speaker isn't picking up on the bluetooth Mac to be found. Pairs with my iPhone 5 with no problem, but not the iPad mini or MacBook Pro. Anyone else have this problem?

Torch 9800 and Curve 8310 and Playbook
I'm trying to send using bluetooth to all of the above and get the error message "Abort FTP operaton, no services found"

    Hi Inedia,
Are you trying to send files from the computer to the BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 smartphone, the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310 smartphone, and BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet?
Currently Bluetooth® file transfer is supported only between 2 BlackBerry® smartphones. This KB article should provide more information. "How to transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones"

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.

Where exactly did you buy this phone?
Have you tried contacting your phone carrier to activate the phone?
Do you have a sim card?

  • 'Bluetooth not available' error message since upgrading to Leopard

Hi, I regularly seem to get a 'Bluetooth not available' error message since upgrading to Leopard, any ideas why, have to reboot to shake it.
    cheers

I solved the same issue by resetting the SMC. With the computer off, remove the battery and press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Then reinstall the battery and restart. I haven't had any bluetooth issues since.

  • HT204368 I have a Tango TRX bluetooth speaker that is suddenly not able to connect to my New iPad. It worked fine for a few eeks and now I get the previously unseen "This device not supported by iPad" message. It was supported for three weeks. Thanks

Most of the question is in the discussion header. I have a Tango TRX bluetooth speaker that worked fine for three weeks with my third generation iPad. I started having trouble connecting and recieved the "not supported by iPad" message. It connects just fine until I open any app that requires sound and at thet point I recieve the message and the device disconnects. The Tango still pairs flawlessly with my laptop which is not an Apple product. How could a product suddenly become unsupported?

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. This should not affect any content on the iPad, it is similar to rebooting your computer.

  • I have an iPhone 4S. I have an aftermarket blue ant Bluetooth in my van already synced to my 4s. I bought a JBL Flip speaker and when I try to sync in all it does is say searching. Is it because I can't have these two devices synced at the same time?

I have an iPhone 4S. In my van I have a portable Bluetooth called blue ant. I have it synced to my iPhone 4S. When I try to sync it to my JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker all it will do is keep searching. My question is this. Is it not possible to have both devices synced at the Same time?

Nope. You can only be connected to one Bluetooth speaker at once.
    Hope this helps

  • No bluetooth connection on MacBook Pro with JBL Flip speaker.

Cannot get bluetooth connection on my MacBook Pro with new JBL Flip speaker.  It is pairing, but not connecting.  Have set it up, but still doesn't work.  JBL says problem is with computer.  Any suggestions?

Hi Carolyn - Thank you for responding, I appreciate the help!
We have a tower, and I don't see an on/off button.  Should I just unhook the power cord from the tower?  We also have the phone line hooked to the tower, should I unhook as well?  I'm assuming the PC is off before I do this?
Then, turn the computer back on?
    Thank you!
