JBL Onbeat Xtreme dock compatibility with iPad 4

Hey. Needed some help. I am really interested in the JBL Onbeat Xtreme Dock. Thing is i have ordered the iPad 4. Would anyone know if the iPad 4 is compatible with this dock. Please Advise

I've got the same issue as you, although i'm a couple months behind...I did some extensive research and lifeproof was selling what seemed to be the missing accessory (dock adapter) separately until they ran out and discontinued it...:( regardless if the only issue with the A-CIGNA is the uncertified device warning than it woukld be perfect, but i fear it is just a **** as the third party ones i'm sure you read all the reviews on amazon about to.
so if you have any updates onconnecting your lifeprrof covered 5s into the lightning connected ihome please let me know what your solution is.

not sure of the site legitimacy but if you're desparate, that may be a course of action, i will keep looking for cheaper alternative so i can dock my precious 5s without taking it out of it lifeproof case..

Sound routed to JBL onbeat micro dock even when dock is off - after upgrade to ios7 on iphone 5

Since upgrading to ios 7.0.2 from ios6 I am not getting text sound alerts on my iphone 5 when it's connected to my JBL onbeat micro charger dock. The sounds are being routed to the speaker even if the dock is off! If I switch on the dock, texts sounds can be heard on the dock'a speakers.
This started happening after ios 6->7 upgrade.
When I disconnect the iphone from the dock, sound comes back to the phone.
Is there a way to choose where the sound should go? or is it just another ios7 bug? I don't have a separate wall charger, this is the only way I can charge my phone, and when I do, I keep missing important texts! Please help!

Ipad OS 7 no longer supporting JBL onboard xtreme dock

I bought the JBL speakers last year and had no problems with connectivity either direct or via bluetooth.
In the last few days charging of the ipad when directly put on dock seems variable, and now I keep getting messages in the music screen that this ipad no longer supports this accessory.
I can get the speakers to work via the bluetooth connectivity.
This really irritates as I liike to charge my ipad overnight and use the alarm to wark me up in the morning.

What type of app do i need to download to make my HP Photosmart Plus compatable with iPad printing

I have been told i need to go to the HP site and it will tell me the app needed to download to my iPad to be able to print from it??? is this true and what do i download

You can download the HP iPrint 3.0 app from your apps market. Once this is downloaded, you can open the app, select the item to print, and touch print.

Accessory Compatibility With iPad 3rd. Generation.

My wife has ordered the new 3rd. gen iPad.
She already has an original iPad.
The accessories she bought for her original iPad are:
1) Stand, charger and keyboard combined. Plugs into iPad.
2) Kit for attaching camera, SD card etc.
3) Carrying case.
4) Standalone stand.
Will any or all of these work with her new iPad?

1, 3, 4 will depend upon how they fit the old iPad - the new iPad is 2mm less in height, 4mm in width and 3.5 mm thinner than the original iPad

Nano docking compatibility with Altec Lansing IM7 speakers?

I just bought Altec Lansing's terrific speakers for my mini - sounds easily as good as my friends Bose - and wonder if anyone knows if the nano is compatible with it. The mini just docks into it - not sure if the nano has identical docking "port" at bottom.

Would a Kaiser Bass Scanner be compatable with my iPad?

I'm a granny, live in New Zealand and I know nothing bout these but I need a scanner, please help! There is a scanner for sale locally but I don't know if it would be compatable with my iPad. My iPad 1 is now very unstable. Apps crash consistently, Mac Numbers/Pages etc incompatible with IOS 5.1 etc. There seems to be no backwards compatibility to iPad 1. Am I just supposed to throw it away? I have restored the iPOad and it has ample storage .

Is this a lack of backwards compatibility because no-one writes apps for IOS 51.1. and the original iPad anymore? not even Apple, as the documents and sheets I create on my Mac are incompatible with my iPad now.
My naievete tells me that this is simply Apple expecting us to upgrade to later levels of hardware. If so, very disappointing for an Apple fan. Seems your App developer approvals (even your own apps) do no require compatibility with anything but IOS 6 or later.

There are various things to make your iPad more stable. You can try deleting all apps from the multitasking bar; do a reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears; Settings > General > Reset all Settings.
If you had the previous version of iPages (version 09) on your Mac before upgrading to Pages 5.2, your Mac should still have that version in Applications, which is still compatible with your version of Pages on your iPad.
If you don't have that version, you can 'Export to Pages 09' which is still compatible with iOS 5.1.1.

It sounds like the iPad wasn't erased to me. If the iPad is totally cleared of content, there should be nothing on it and no backup to create.
Without connecting the iPad to your computer - Launch iTunes on you computer and go to Edit>Prefences>Devices. Do you see an iPad backup in there? If you do see it, delete it.

I agree Terrance. However, I was able to copy other large batches of other files (my music for example) without any issues. The issue only showed up when copying iPhoto's library and/or the photos themselves. This was repeated 3 times; I copied all my other files to the drive then it unmounted on iPhoto. And, as I said, again when I started with a fresh reformat and just iPhoto. That does not seem like hardware to me if it is only happening with one set of files.
I have managed to get the iPhoto library to work on my other external drive. It wanted a rebuild twice and a thumbnail rebuild once. I am now attempting to copy it over to the new HGST internal drive.
Anyone have a suggestion for alternatives to iPhoto? I have aperture, maybe I will try that. But from what I understand, it just shares the same library as iPhoto.

Not entirely sure what you are asking. According to this review (I haven't got one so I don't know for sure) then the wifi-enabled GoFlex Satellite drives can :
The device can stream basically all content supported by the iPad including videos (H.264 video, MPEG-4, and Motion-JPEG), audio (AAC, MP3, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4), Apple Lossless, A IFF, WAV), documents (Microsoft Office, iWork, Adobe) and photos.
But non-wifi drives, i.e. those that require a cable connection, won't work with the iPad.
