JDBC Receiver - java.sql.SQLException

Hello,
I am doing a file to JDBC scenario. When I execute, I am getting the following error:
Unable to execute statement for table or stored procedure. 'dbo.empl' (Structure 'STATEMENT') due to java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR: Column 'address' does not exist in table 'dbo.empl'
Here, empl is the table name in SQL server. The field 'address' available in the SQL server , but i am getting the above mentioned error.
My JDBC input structure is as follows:
<STATEMENT>
<TEST action="INSERT">
<table>dbo.empl</table>
<access>
<empid></empid>
<empname></empname>
<address></address>
<empage></empage>
<joindate></joindate>
<flag></flag>
</access>
</TEST>
</STATEMENT>
Can anyone help?
Regards
Vaane

>>>>>Unable to execute statement for table or stored procedure. 'dbo.empl' (Structure 'STATEMENT') due to java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR: Column 'address' does not exist in table 'dbo.empl'
Check your table empl structure??
Does it have the field address?? XI is case sensitive!!Check you have the correct spelling and case...

    Hello all
    I am using JT400.jar file to connect to AS/400 data base in my JSF/ADF Application.
    We are using shared library for all non oracle jar files . and my application fails with error message
    ## Detail 0 ##
    java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver
    During runtime. even though i am importing the required jar files from shared library settings in server.xml / application.xml
    When i don't have the entry in shared library for this jar file it will fail during deployment time it self, but with shared library link it works during deployment but fails during runtime
    it will work during runtime if i add my jar file to BC4J/lib folder. but team responsible for mintaining application server don't accept adding non oracle jar files to oracle installation folders
    i have also posted this in jdev forum

    yupp finally i got the solution. . .
    I was using connection from tomcat connection pooling.
    Hence, even though i was setting the classes12.jar and nls_charset12.jar in the classpath and compiling, -In runtime tomcat was using its own classes in the common/lib folder. . .(which might not support oracle-character-set-178.)
    So just added this jars into the common/lib of tomcat instead of web-inf/lib of my project
    and things began working. . .
    Thanks for the hint jshell. . .

  • JDBC Receiver adapter-java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00904: "BATCH_ID": invalid

    Hi
    I am trying insert rows in Oracle database using JDBC receiver adapter setup in PI 7.1. However this receiver adapter is throwing following exception.

    PRADEEP_OTC_ORDERS table has just 3 columns as specified the access segment. However I stil get this ORA-00904 error message.
    Any idea on what could be wrong.?
    Thanks
    -Pradeep

    Hi All,
    Thanks a lot for responding...
    I verified the table structure, table just contains those 3 coulms all varchar type.
    I modified the column name as well, But was still getting ORA-00904. Then I went directly to the the database and executed below insert statement,
    insert into PRADEEP_OTC_ORDERS (mps_order_id, mps_version,mps_batch_id) Values(1,2,3)
    I got exact SQL Error: ORA-00904: "MPS_BATCH_ID": invalid identifier.
    So ISAP JDBC adapter is not enclosing the string values in quotes.
    SAP documentation says it puts quotes for values and treats everything as string(text).
    Anybody has any idea, why JDBC receiver adapter not enclosing the values in quotes?
    Thanks
    -Pradeep

  • Java.sql.SQLException: ORA-24813: cannot send or receive an unsupported LOB

    Hello everyone:
    Our JSP application with a whole bunch of classes talks to an Oracle database using JDBC. The Oracle DB was 9i, but we upgraded to 10g. When this happened, we get the following error during processing a call that brings out a clob out of the DB.
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-24813: cannot send or receive an unsupported LOB
    I googled the error message to find out that it is caused by the difference in versions of the Oracle.
    Thus, here is an interesting point. When the app had 10g on his side and the database being 9i, everything worked fine. But, now that they are both of 10g, it does not work.
    Does anyone have any idea what's causing this error?
    Thank you in advance for your help.
    Sincerely,
    Yosep

    Just to add in some more background to this problem...
    The app machine has Oracle 10g under c://oracle/product/10.2. Since this is only copy of Oracle, this lead me to believe that 10g is what the app is using to connect to the DB through its JDBC classes.
    Another interesting point is that the app is JSP/java solution via Tomcat. So, perhaps Tomcat provides its own JDBC kind of libraries?
    Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Yosep

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Error accessing jdbc driver

    Hi,
    We are using WebLogic Server 7.0 as Application Server.
    We now create a connection pool named regPool and
    a Tx datasource named regDS.
    When we get the connection from the datasource, exception occurred.
    java.sql.SQLException: Error accessing jdbc driver: driverURL =
    jdbc:weblogic:pool:regPool, props = {enableTwoPhaseCommit=false,
    jdbcTxDataSource=true, connectionPoolID=regPool}

    at

    So I guess that why we can't use CMP for finding data. Here is the error when we call the finder.
    javax.ejb.FinderException: Exception in findAllEmr while preparing or
    executing statement: 'null'
    java.sql.SQLException: Cannot obtain connection after 30 seconds. ,

    Exception = Access not allowed
    at
    weblogic.jdbc.jts.Connection.wrapAndThrowSQLException(Connection.java:694)
    According to the exception message, it looks
    like the connection fail between WLS and Oracle 9.2.
    Here is a scenario I think you should need to know.
    I change the table-name in the weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml
    to a name that doesn't exist in the database.
    Then, re-package the EJB, copy it to server and restart the server.
    A exception occurred that says the table doesn't exist.
    So, in this case, it looks like the datasource works and
    connection is fine.
    Any recommendation will be appreciated.

  • JDBC Sender Adapter : java.sql.SQLException: Cursor state not valid.

    Hello all,
    We have configured JDBC Sender Adapter which fetches around 10K records with poll interval 1hr  from DB2 System .
    It was working fine,suddenly it started throwing an exception in Adapter Monitoring :
    Error during conversion of query result to XML: java.sql.SQLException: Cursor state not valid.
    It is not fetching any records.
    Without changing any configurations when we tried to fetch to around 1000 records it's working fine.
    For 10K records same exception persists
    What could be the reason ?How to resolve this issue?

    Post the part of your code that loads the driver and connects. My guess is you are using a variable for the name of the driver and the variable has not been set to anything(intially set to null).

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver

    THis topic has been discussed many many times but I still not able to connect to Oracle 8i from my servlet using Tomcat 4.1.12 on hp-ux and java1.3
    I always got: java.sql.SQLException: Cannot load JDBC driver class 'null'
    In server.xml:
    <Context Path="/MyApp" docBase="MyApp" debug="0" reloadable="true" >
    <Resource name="jdbc/ora" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource"/> <ResourceParams name="jdbc/ora" >
    <parameter>

    <value>mypassword</value>
    </parameter>
    <parameter> <name>driverClassName</name>

    </parameter>
    <parameter>
    <name>url</name>
    <value>jdbc:oracle:thin:@myhostname:1521:ora</value>
    </parameter> </ResourceParams>
    </Context>
    In MyApp/WEB-INF/web.xml:
    <resource-ref>
    <res-ref-name>jdbc/ora</res-ref-name>
    <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
    <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    The Oracle jdbc jar file classes12.jar is under common/lib in Tomcat's home. read Permission is there.
    In the servlet:
    init(ServletConfig config):
    Context init = new InitialContext();
    Context ctx = (Context) init.lookup("java:comp/env");
    dataSource = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/acdb");
    doPost(..)
    the error occured at :
    synchronized (dataSource){
    con = dataSource.getConnection();}
    Thanks in advance!

    Everything looks correct to me, except for one thing.
    In your web.xml you have this:
    <res-ref-name>jdbc/ora</res-ref-name> In your server.xml, you have this tag, which matches your web.xml:
    <ResourceParams name="jdbc/ora" > But in your Java code, you've got this:
    dataSource = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/acdb"); When I've successfully set up a Web app data source, all three names had to agree. You either need to change your Java lookup name to "jdbc/ora" or change the web.xml and server.xml to "jdbc/acdb".
    See if that does it. Everything else sounds correct to me. - MOD

  • JDBC 8.1.6 (2.0) and JDK 1.2 java.sql.SQLException

    I wrote an applet program and access to Oracle database using JDBC 2.0 (Oracle 8i 8.1.6). When testing, I got errors java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver.
    Who havd any idea to solve this problems.
    It works fine when I use JDBC 1.2 and JDK 1.2 .
    Chuleerat.

    "No suitable driver" usually means that the
    connect string is incorrect.
    The 8.1.6 driver supports JDK1.1 and JDK1.2.
    If you use JDK1.2, the JDBC 2.0 features
    are available to you.

    Hi,
    I am using OSB11g (with soa db adapter ) to select data from DB2 Database. I am trying to just fetch like 100 records(very less).

    Looks like either database is too slow or data-source is not functioning properly. Make sure to test data source and see if it is in running state and it has sufficient number of connections (you may increase max connections value). Actually transaction is getting rolled back because it could not get connection in specified time period (may be JTA/statement timeout).
    Cross post in Weblogic JDBC forum as well for expert's advice -
    WebLogic Server - JDBC
    You may consider raising a case with support as well.
