JDC addr on contract account populated from standard mailing address...HELP

Hi, I am having a problem with the JDC address field on the Contract Account being updated with the standard mailing address when the customer uses a different mailing address other than the service address (connection object). This is causing an issue when we try to post FICA charges or dunn at an account that is using an out of state mailing address.
Has anyone had this issue? What did you do? I was under the impression that the JDC addr field was being populated from the connection object.

Hi Lisa,
Every Contract Account picks up the standard address from the Business Partner.  However you could control this by Changing the fixed address at the contract account level.  If you go into transaction CAA2 ... You will see the header as seen below..
Contract Acct   200000012853 Cont. Acct Cat. 02  Utilities Contract Account       
Partner/Address 1000145433   ROMA HAWKINS    227 CHERRY AVE / HAMPTON VA 2        
Valid from      07/17/2008                                                                               
Next to the Address here you can see a FIX check box.  We can create a new address as per the connection object address on the BP address list and FIX the CA address based on the new address in the Business Partner.   Similary the JDC address also can be changed this way.
However this is a manual process.  If you want this to happen during the move-in process, custom code will have to be written wherein when a new contract account is created, the list of addresses are shown to the Customer Service Agent and ask them to pick the Address which will be set as the FIXED address in the Contract Account.  We had once implemented this enhancement for a Utilities customer in US.  Let me know if you require details.

  • Accessing an Apple account when the e-mail address and birth date are incorrect??

    In updating to IOS yesterday I have stupidly ended up with three Apple accounts (It said I needed one with an e-mail address, there was my cloud account and my account I have used for years to purchase)
    I basically messed up and thought I could create a fresh account with my e-mail address and still cotinue to download updates for my previous purchases.
    Somehow my old Apple account that I bought all my apps on has become disconnected from my e-mail address and has the wrong date of birth - i threfore can't get in to the account or reset the password... is there a number I can call??

    Go to the Administration Console in EIM, then Departments. Inside the Department, there will be an Email folder, and inside that is Aliases. In the properties for each Alias, there is an "Email address" field.

  • I cant access my account as I tunes says no one with my e-mail address exists. If I try to create a new account with my e-mail address, I am told this address is already in use?

    I have had an account for some time. I tried to log on yesterday to be told my credetials were wrong. I tried to reset my password but get 'your session timed out' message after less than 30 seconds! (happened 4 times). I then tried to access my account with my e-mail address. I am tols that there is no account with thaqt e-mail address, but if I try to create a new account with my e-mail address, I am told that address is already in use. To get to this community page I have had to create a new account with a new gmail address. I want to get to my main account as I have credit on that one. Please help?

    There is a process, an article about how to find your apple id and get access to it. It is named Apple ID: Finding your Apple ID found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625?viewlocale=en_US
    You start at the top, and work your way down.
    If you can't remember your Apple ID, you can find it by using the password retrieval process at My Apple ID. Follow these steps to recover your Apple ID name:
    Go to My Apple ID and click "Find your Apple ID."
    Complete all the required fields that might be associated with your Apple ID.
    Note: If multiple email addresses have an Apple ID, select your current or most recently used email address.

    What do you mean with the wrong email address?
    - If it is not your account on your Mac, then just sign out and then sign in using your account in "System Preferences > iCloud".

    You can't link/merge accounts, all content will remain tied to the account that downloaded it.
    Why can't you access the account ? If you've forgotten its password then you can reset it via http://iforgot.apple.com e.g. by answering the account's security questions.
    If you can't get it reset via that page, and you don't have a rescue email address on the account for the reset email to go to,  then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset it for you.

  • Use a different "From" e-mail address or reply-to address

    I have a problem because my principle e-mail host doesn't seem to be supporting push mail with the z10, so I have set up a forwarding rule to another account that does have push support. However, I would like my replies from the second account to have the original e-mail address rather than the address of the second account. I can change the smtp outgoing mail server but it doesn't change the "from" field or add a reply-to field. 
    Is there any way to use an alternate "from" field or add a "reply-to" field to an account?

    Your "another account" should have that ability. You don't see a "reply to" field in your forwarding account"
    If not, it can't be done on the Z10 itself (unless it is also in the account setup options for that other account).

  • Just created a Firefox support account using my e-mail address as the username. Did not know that this would show up when I asked questions. Can I change my username? If not can I delete my account and start again.

    Basically, without thinking, I used my e-mail address as my username, and I don't want to get spammed because of my thoughtlessness. Anyway, I'd like to change my username. I picked a display name "TonyG" and thought only that would display, but both my username and my display name show when I post.     Since you have used your old Display name, it'll always show your email address in the forum for this question. When you post another question in the future, it should show your Display name instead.
    As I said, User Name is to be used to log into your forum account, the Display Name is what it'll be shown when you post in this forum. You can try to post a test in the forum to see if your Display Name is being shown or not.

  • Why am I seeing texts from e-mail addresses?

    When I send a text message to some contacts in my address book I get the response from their e-mail address. It messes up the way my texts are organized. The outgoing text is to "John Doe", but when I get a response it comes in from as a separate conversation chain from "[email protected]".
    How can I fix this? I don't want to see texts from e-mails. I want to see the person's name.

    Adding their e-mail address to their contact info only partially fixes the problem.  The text messages from them show up from their name now, but it still shows as two different conversation chains... Now I just have two "John Doe's" that I can send text messages to... one with John Doe's phone number and one with John Doe's e-mail... if I send it to the phone number I still get a response back in a separate conversation from the e-mail.
    One of the people i am having problems with this from is my husband. I will try to change his phone settings and see if that fixes it.

  • I already have a Google adsense account for my e-mail address?!

    In Iweb 9 I tried to use the adsense widget. I was asked to make an account. So I typed in my e-mail address ([email protected]), but I got the message that this adress was already linked to an adsense google account! For the life of me I cannot remember making an adsense -account with this address, or any other for that matter. When I tried to use that 'existing account' the postcode or phone number I entered 'did not match the Google adsense account'. (no wonder) Anyone else stumbled upon this too? Should I now change my .mac/me e-mail address? Could two mobile me users have the same e-mail address?

    A number of people have the same problem.
    I'm one of them. I have an adsense account already in this case.
    When I try to set up adsense through iWeb, I input my data and it
    won't recognize my information.
    You don't need to make a new email address. There is a breakdown
    between the iWeb program and google. They are not communicating
    properly.
    I would like to know how to solve this problem also.

  • TS3276 how do you delete a contact from your mail address list?

    i dont know that many details about my mac.. Geez! I just am trying to delete addresses from my mail that are no longer good, to avoid the 'unable to send' messages and I can't find any place that says do that, nor can i delete with keyboard, nor with trying to drag them to the trash.  Can anyone help me?  One would think it would be very simple.

    Address Book in 10.6.8 (which your post says you are using) has a Delete Card item in the Edit menu. If you want to get rin of a complete card, use it. If you have more than one address on an individual's contact card as here:
    click the Edit button at the bottom of the card to put it in edit mode:
    then click the minus sign beside any that you want rid of.
    Make sure that you clear them from the Previous Recipients window too.

  • .mac account disappears from Mac mail

    Often I will go to my Mail app and the .Mac Account is no longer displayed.  If I quit mail and reopen, it and its folders stored there at .Mac will be displayed.

    My wife has a sub-account on our MM family pack subscription and had this issue: occasionally mail on her iPhone would appear briefly in the iPhone inbox, then disappear from the list. It never showed up in Mail.app at all. (I have the master account on this family pack and haven't had this issue… knock on wood.)
    I was also a recipient on some of those mails -- but if I forwarded them to her she still didn't get them. I had to copy the text out of the messages and paste into a new mail. That worked. So it seems there's something in the mail header (perhaps?) that causes this… yet the mails have not all been from the same person / address. In fact, mail from person "A" might do this disappearing thing today, yet mail from the same person "A" might work fine tomorrow. It's that sort of multi-variable, intermittent problem that's very hard to pin down.
    I tried changing her password -- to guarantee that only her known clients were logging in (no lurking POP mail readers that she'd forgotten about). No effect. Then I tried turning off her junk filters, both local and online at MobileMe (thinking maybe some rule was out of control -- deleting random messages, rather than filing them as junk). No effect (other than a lot of complaints from her about junk in her inbox, of course).
    Finally, she suggested that maybe it had to do with MM push services -- since it only happens on the iPhone, not on her Mac. We turned off push on her iPhone and voila! It seems to have fixed the issue.
    I haven't found anyone else who's connected this with data push on the iPhone. I'd be interested if other folks who try this as a solution would see if it works for them and post results here.

  • I can no longer select multiple addresses from my Mail address book when forwarding emails

    Since updating to Mavericks I cannot select multiple addresses from my address book when forwarding emails.
    I can select them individually using the + sign in the address bar but cannot select any when I open my Contact list as I have done with previous systems.
    Additionly, the full address appears in the "To" window instead of just the name and without the email address. I have selected "Smart Address" from the Preferences menu, View section.

    Why are you using a Hotmail or Live Mail SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account?
    This is likely the cause of the problem. Use Gmail's authenticated SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account.
