JDev. 10.1.3 Extension Download Sign In Fails
I've attempted to download a couple of extensions to JDev 10.1.3. Each time I've been asked to provide my Oracle Web account info. Each time I enter the info, it doesn't recognize my account. I even created a new account and tried it - it failed, too!
Has anyone else had difficulty "signing in" in order to download a 10.1.3 extension?

We heard of some problems with people who are behind a proxy that uses NTLM.
One way to workaround this limitation is to download the zips directly from:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml
and then point the check-for-update to directly pick the extension from the local zip file.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I downloaded a web site isytd video downloader on my macbook pro, to download videos. but it didnt work , so I removed the softwear from my mac, even I removed it the download sign appears on the left top of my video screen, so I want to remove this download sign. How can I get this done? Please help me.
Many apps are not completely removed if the .app file is trashed (which is what I believe you've done so far).
If you don't want to dig through the system to manually remove library files, I recommend the use of AppCleaner, which does the job for you. -
DPS App Error, Sign In Failed - When Downloading Developer App in DPS?
I am getting the following error message when I try to download the developer.ipa version of my app for testing on my device:
"DPS App Builder Error
Sign in failed, please try again"
I have been having this problem since yesterday evening and have tried again several times, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the DPS application but this has not helped.
Is anyone else having a similar problem or have any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong?There may be two issues :

Unfortunately, if you are using Safari on the iPad, you can't post a screen shot. You can with other browsers that will identify as a desktop browser, but not with Safari. Safari is so limited on the iPad and ironically, it is the worst browser that you can use on the Apple Support Communities help forum.
You can post a link to the screen shot if you use Photo Bucket or any cloud based photo site. In any event, if you don't see it in the More Tab, I don't know that the screen shot would help. It certainly wouldn't hurt though.
Are you sure that you selected the book to sync in iTunes? -

No app on the iOS device is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line.

What's your current Extension Manager version (6.0.X or 7.0.X or ...)? What's your OS (Windows 7 or Mac)?
If you are using Extension Manager CS6, the simplest way is to delete the EM installation folder manually, then download the latest full installer from http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html and install it, then you will have the latest update.
For Extension Manager CC, please go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers" (Windows 7) or "/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers" (Mac) and send the installer log file (The file name is something like "Adobe Extension Manager CC 7.1.1 12-16-2013.log.gz") to [email protected] so that we can check it. -
The APP application on my iPad does not function properly - any downloads requested immediately fail and send me back tot he main iPad screen. Any suggestions on to hoe to fix this? The software has been updated to iOS 5.1.1, and no furthe updates are available.
This is my boilerplate response when app downloads are stalled or in the "waiting" mode. There are a bunch of things here to try.
Tap on the "installing" icon and see if you can pause the install, then tap on it again in order to resume the install.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download and install at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and see if the install resumes.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad. -
I got a very frastrating broblem suddenly after I refresh my provisioning profile. I can't distribute any project any more. The error message like this when I'm trying to distribute my project as an ad-hoc ipa.
Code signing operation failed

It happens for all the projects even for the newly created one. (All those projects have no problems at all before I got this problem.)
So I did:
delete all provisions in xcode
delete all certificate in keychains
"Refresh" in "Provisioning Profiles"
download distribution provision for the specific app
generate the ipa file
reinstall the xcode
Unfortunately none of them work. All my projects can still be running in my device or simulate, but I can't distribute it any more. Can anybody suggest? Thank you so much.Hi Dude,
Can you try this two steps?
Step1: Open Edit Scheme --> Click on Run 'Appname' in the left menu --> Go to info --> Build configuration into Distribution /release.
Step2: Go to projects settings --> Info --> Under config --> Use "Distrbution/ release" for command line builds.
After that clea the project once and try to distribute it.

Updating project in App builder - Sign in fails
Ive been shut out of app builder on second attempt to upload files as sign in fails on sign and download of IPA.
Ive done the following to clear issue.
Unpublish and republish app. - The job shows with new correct modification date
Check titles - the titles of all folios/articles are all character compliant as per list below
As in understand it the Developer certificates dont need to change once established.
Any ideas to allow download of .ipa files so I test and can resubmit to apple?There can be two issues:
First, make sure your article/folio names does not contain any special characters. We were able to fix the "Sign in, please try again" error by removing all special charatcers in the folio/article names. Example of special characters are"&" "ö" "á" "()" etc.

Hi: I am having the anoying error, I already checked my articles for special characters, clean.
I have recreated the certificates 2 times from scratch.
I tried creating the app from indesign 5.5 and from cs6, same result.
I removed the app builder and reinstalled the latest version.
Nothing seems to work, I am a single edition user.
I am really behind my deadline, can someone please help me.

Un-publish the folio from dashboard
Login to your dashboard and open the folio
Click on the “List view” button to reveal the article names
Change the articles names that contains any special characters as mentioned above
Re-publish your folio
Download the corrected folio and re-built your app, you should be able to download fine

Sign in failed - Unknown server error (-2) when trying to sign in to new playbook
I get the message "Sign in failed - Unknown server error (-2)" when I try to login to the Blackberry ID page of a new playbook during initial setup. This prevents me from continuing and using my device. A similar error message appears when I tap "Forgot password?" which is An unknown error has occured. Please try again (-2)
I have tried what others have done when they have unknown error (-6) which is turn off playbook and plug into desktop manager then update to reflash, but I continue to get the same error.
I know my BB ID username and password are correct because I can login to the web with them. Not sure what to do next.Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?
If only yours fails, then is a RIM issue, otherwise is indeed your Playbook failure.

I have two (2) separate Creative Cloud single-app memberships. One is Adobe Muse, which I've had since June 5, 2013, and the other is the Adobe Photoshop Photography Program (PPP), which I've had since September 17, 2013. I own each of these memberships for different reasons and use them on different computers and in different environments.
I have three (3) computers; a Home computer, a Laptop, and an Office computer. I have Photoshop and Lightroom (from the Photography Program) installed on the Home computer and the Laptop; a total of two computers. I have Muse (a different single-app membership than the PPP membership) installed on the Home computer and the Office computer; again, a total of two computers. I have run this configuration without incident since I first purchased the memberships. In fact, before I joined the PPP, I verified with Adobe that this configuration was ok and was told that they were separate memberships and that it would not be a problem.
I upgraded Photoshop CC to Photoshop CC 2014 (as well as Lightroom) on the Home computer and Laptop and everything still worked without incident. I also updated Muse CC to Muse CC 2014 on the Home computer and again, everything ran as before without any problems. Later, when I updated Muse CC to Muse CC 2014 on the Office computer, I received a "Sign in failed" error message that said "[my] adobe ID [[email protected]] has already been used to activate the software on two other computers or devices". Which was not true!
After a Chat with a fairly useless customer service agent I selected the option, on the "Sign in Failed" dialog, to "Sign me out of all other computers and devices" and was able to sign in to Muse CC 2014 on the Office computer. Later, when I returned home I was able to successfully sign in to Muse CC 2014 on the Home computer - both of the two (2) allowed usages were now working.
After verifying that Muse CC 2014 was working on the Home computer, I launched Photoshop CC 2014 to see if it had been effected - it was. When asked I entered my Adobe ID and password, and was able to sign in successfully. Just to keep the math straight, I am now signed in on two (2) computers with the Muse CC 2014 membership and one (1) computer with the Photoshop CC 2014 membership.
I now attempted to Launch Photoshop CC 2014 on the Laptop and got the "Sign in failed" error message, which again said "[my] adobe ID [[email protected]] has already been used to activate the software on two other computers or devices". Again, this was not true! The Laptop would have been the second computer to have Photoshop CC 2014 installed under the Photoshop Photography Program membership, if I could have signed in.
Since these are separate memberships (albeit under the same Adobe ID) I should be able to, and have been able to, install them on any computer as long as each is only installed on two (2) computers.
I need help. This is causing me a great deal of inconvenience.
The problem started with the 2014 updates. How do I (or Adobe) fix this FUBAR problem?
