JDev 10.1.3EA - Importing UML  XMI - which models are supported

I've read some instructions to import UML Class models from an XMI export. Is this the only type of model which can be imported? We have XML exports that contain Use case and sequence diagrams as well.
Thx.

Hi,
Yes, currently only UML Classes can be imported in XMI.

  • Import UML XMI File

I see that I can open a diagram with "Import UML XMI File". How do I export a current diagram to an XMI/XML file so it can be shared, access and modified by other developer.

    Hi,
There is currently no XMI export functionality in JDeveloper.
If you want to publish diagrams to be used in other documents etc, then you can use the 'Publish Diagram...' context menuitem which will save the diagram as an image.
If you want to be able to allow others to edit the diagram, then they need to be able to access the project's directory.
For more details on the supported XMI formats please see the help topics 'Importing UML Classes using XMI Import'

  • Which transitions are supported in Keynote iPad?

I use some simple transitions in Keynote '09 on the Mac that work flawlessly. Usually dissolve, sometimes several on a single slide, and sometimes with grouped objects.
It seems as if grouped object transitions on K-iPad is no good, and also seems as if more than one transition on a slide is a problem -- either doesn't work or is put in the wrong place.
Is there a list of which transitions are supported, etc? I can't find it in the Apple support pages, but perhaps I'm not looking in the right place.

Thanks Tom for the helpful article link. Though where would one find a list of the iPad availabe fonts...?
    From Apples own text...
Use fonts common to both the Mac and iPad platforms. Fonts that are not available on the iPad are replaced with the Helvetica font.
So does the iPad tell the user which fonts are "common" ???
    Thanks again.

  • RuleBasedBreakIterator - which languages are supported?

    Hi
I need to split text into words for lexical analysis, and RuleBasedBreakIterator seems the logical place to start. I gather that some eastern languages don't use whitespace to separate words, hence the existence of DictionaryBasedBreakIterator.
I can't find a definitive list of languages that are supported. I'm looking for Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Russian. Anyone know if these are supported and if there is a definitive list anywhere?
    Thanks,
    Rob

I'm assuming that you're referring to the class of the same name in ICU4J, since it isn't in the standard Java API. Your question isn't quite in their FAQ, which is here:
    http://icu.sourceforge.net/icu4j_faq.html#RBBI_1
However it doesn't seem to have been updated recently (my impression based on references to Java 1.1). You could take its suggestion to "contact us" and ask on their mailing list, I suppose.

  • Buying New - Which models are Windows 7, 64-bit ready out of the box?

Have always had HP printers and love them.  In reading the posts many questions are for Windows 7 and existing printers.  I am in the market for a new inkjet for text.  Don't want an all-in-one.  Can anyone tell me which HP printer models are Windows 7, 64-bit ready out of the box?  Store personel readily point to the "Windows 7 ready" stickers on display models, however, look confused when I press the 64 vs 32 bit issue.  Thanks

Win 7 64-bit will install software and drivers written for Win 7 32-bit without any problems. I've presonally installed hundreds of printers on Win 7 64-bit without any problems. Do you have a specific printer in mind?

  • Imovie failed to import media only audio files are supported

    Hi
I get the above message when trying to open video that has been downloaded using WD 2go.
    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Dunk

OK, I fixed it. Here is how:
I used the "relink files" dialog - it was challenge sorting out which files were already copied to the library and which were stranded on the SD card, because with the media connected FCP was giving me no indication (i.e. camera symbol on the thumbnail), and there is no "sort by... location" in the bin. So anyway, I disconnected media, selected all the red-icon clips, then reconnected media, then did the "relink files" dialog, and right now it looks like all of the "missing" files have been copied over to the Library.
Now the question for me becomes:
Why did this happen? How can I adjust my practice so as to avoid repeating this problem?
Not such a bad glitch this time - I only lost 2.5 hours trying to fix the problem, and now I can get back to work.
    sigh.

  • How to find which displays are supported

Is there a way that I can find out what monitors are supported in 10.5.4? Is there a file in one of the directories that shows the various drivers? I had been using my Sony KLV-S32A10 as an external monitor, and it worked fine in Leopard 10.5.2, but with the upgrade it just creates an unreadable mess on the screen. I think that there must have been a change in the drivers and for some reason the Sony is not supported. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to Sony's website and see if they have updated drivers for it.

  • Which Cameras are supported by FCE?

Hello, I am close to buying a Sony HDRXR 500 (HD camera) but want to be sure it is supported by FCE. Can I look that up in a list somewhere... I don't seem to be able to find a list for this although I have seen some discussions on other Fora indicating that perhaps this does work (I would like ot have full 1080 video once edited). Can anyone help advise me on this?
If I were to opt for the canon equivalent. Is that supported.
Any advise on the cameras themselves would also be welcome if you have that too.
    Many thanks!!

  • Remove firmware password by removing RAM which models are not effected?

One could reset in the past by removing the RAM etc.  I heard this changed at some point.
From what model MBP is this no longer possible? Or is this still the case?
    I have a MBPi5 and a MBPi7.

  • Palm rejection feature - which models is supported ?

i am using iPad 2 for education
and i am in pencils to write and draw
i used bamboo pen with bamboo paper app for 2 years
now i am interested in 53 pencil but unfortunatly the app paper is not supporting [kiss to pair] feature on iPad 2
or adonit jot or adobe ink.
the thing i understand that 4th generation iPads only supported palm rejaction feature, is that true ?
so can i have help with deciding to keep my 4 years old iPad2 or change it .
if your advice is to change it so what model ( with palm rejection support ) should i buy from models listed in the link below : ( 4th generation only )
    Identifying iPad models
    thanks in advance

Since this does not have a Stylus pen, it would not have palm rejection.
A cheap pen from the store is the same as your finger, if it had rejection you would not be able to write.
Only tablets like the TPT and Note have built in Stylus's with palm rejection.
Only way to write without issues is to buy/use a glove. Smudge Guards are nice. Look them up. I can't wait to order one. But for now I just cut an old cotton $2 gloves.
