JDev 11g Where can I find "Complete" MDS Documentation

Hello All,
I am not able to find complete documentation for Oracle Meta Data Store(MDS) under 11g R1 docs
can anybody please point me where can I find this
Thanks a lot

Hi,
you can try to seach in the JDEV TP Forum (JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview for MDS to get an overview.
But I don't know if the links to the TPx documents and cuecards still work.
There was some MDS included in the technologie previews but as Shay said not in the current production release.

  • Where can I find complete information about ibdiag()?

I've seen a few bit and pieces about using ibdiag() in NI-488.2 but is there a complete description about the information returned in the buffer.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
The ibdiag() function is no longer supported in versions of NI-488.2 past 1.7. It was never formally documented and was meant only to be used internally.
What kind of information are you trying to extract out from ibdiag(). A possible workaround at this point would be to extract out that information from the GPIB.INI file found in C:\WINDOWS\system32. The GPIB.INI file is created by NI's Measurement and Automation Explorer when it configures for devices and provides much of the same diagnostic information provided by the ibdiag() function call.
    Hope this helps!

  • Where can i find complete iweb 08 template gallery

A potential client (pc user) wants to see all templates so he can choose one he likes. Apple site only shows a few 09 templates. Is there a link he can visit to show all iweb 08 templates?

Create a second web site and do the theme changing in it. You can view 12 of the 20 themes here: View themes gallery.
As for the many 3rd party themes you'll just have to do a Google search for them.

    Tks for Your help.
However the answer You gave me is not exactly what I needed.
Looking in the documentation I didn't find any "formal" documentation, in UML syntax, of the definition of stereotypes used in the UML ADF diagrammer.
Looking into some files I found the .xsd of Business Components but it's not the same thing.
Could You show me where can I find the required documentation ?

  • JDev 11G PS3, where can I find new features in BPM/SOA part?

    Hello,
I've just downloaded and installed JDev 11G PS3.
When I look at the 'New Features' list on OTN, only the following parts are contained
    -Database Development
    -ADF Framework (Share)
-ADF View (ADF Faces and Data Visualization Components)
    -ADF Desktop Integration
A quick look in the BPM console reveals a new Activity object 'Call'.
Where can I find a new features list for the BPM/SOA part?
    Regards Léon

    Hello Heidi,
No worries, I was just checking what's new in the PS3 for BPM.
But when the problem is solved, is there a way to check what new functionality is added?

  • Where Can I Find a Complete Reference for ASA 5505 Product IDs?

I've spent way too much time exploring the Internet looking for a definitive reference to pin down and completely explain all of the Cisco product ID mumbo jumbo . . . specifically for the ASA 5505 security device.  In general I'd like to have this information for all things Cisco.  It is driving me crazy not to know this information IN TOTAL.  Yes, there's bits and pieces out there, but no offical guide or reference that details everything.  This is what I want to see.
    For example:  for the ASA5505 there's . . . ASA5505-50-BUN-K9, ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9, ASA5505-UL-BUN-K9, etc.
What is the "BUN", "K9", "SEC", etc.  Not just what does it stand for (we can deduce that), but where did this come from and how can I quickly reference a new acronym which may show up in completely differnce Cisco device.  Also, specifically for the ASA 5500 line, I want to see a COMPLETE list of ALL of these IDs and want a legend to reference each part.  This is critical in my opinion for a project manager to make an informed decision about hardware.  Cisco documentation is grossly lacking for this (or at least I'm unable to find it).  The closest I've come was to discovery this whole notion of the Unique Device Identifier (UDI) which is the Cisco' product identification standard for labeling hardware products.
This is explained some here . . .
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/products_identification_standard.html
It's a good start but, it only creates more questions.  Where can I find ALL the PIDs and what does each acronym stands for?  What about the VIDs? . . . Where is a list of these what does each section mean?.  Why in the world is there no single source where all of this is pinned down.  With all of the mind-numbing Cisco documentation out there loaded with cryptic details about things many of us will never care to know . . . why not put out this much needed, practical reference of Product IDs which would have a wide appeal and could be useful to everyone from product specialist to system engineers?  It would make researching Cisco solutions to new projects exponentially less painful to know very quickly exactly what we're looking at when we encounter all of this product "code."
Am I the only one who feels this way?  I'm thinking not.  What say you?  Am I missing something?
    LT

There is no such published reference guide. The closest thing would be the global price list but it's generally not distributed. (What Jouni mentioned was probably an extract of that very large document.)
Due to the broad range of products (and associated bundles and services), Cisco uses online configuration and ordering tools (Cisco Commerce Workspace or CCW) internally and with its partners. The information in it is very dynamic and can change day to day as the tens of thousands of products Cisco offers are introduced, deprecated (i.e., Approaching or at End of Sales), offered in different promotional bundles, etc.
When a Cisco salesperson or partner solution advisor talks with a customer, they take the customer's input and build equipment, software and services configuration sets supporting the proposal. CCW will validate the required items are ordered and generate a configuration set that has not only the product IDs (PIDs, generally referred to as SKUs or Stock Keeping Units in this context) but also the plain language descriptions of what each PID means.
They should be conveying that information to you (or any customer they are engaged with) to enable you to make the informed decision you mention.

I scanned an Item from my computer to my documents. The scan was completed.  However, when I searched in my documents, the Item was not there.
Where can I find the item scanned?

Most scanners default to Pictures folder or the Desktop.
If you select All My Files and Arrange by Date Added you should be able to find the file.
If you turn on Show Path bar and Show Status bar for your Finder Window under View in the Menu bar, when you select the file you will see the path of the file in the bottom of the Finder window.

  • Where can I find deleted bookmarks? where do they go? I want to delete them completely. Ed.

Where can I find deleted bookmarks? where do they go? I want to delete them completely. Ed.

    Hi Ed,
The bookmarks are stored within a file called ''places.sqlite'' which is a database, so this is changed, an individual bookmark is not stored as an html file. In addition Firefox makes some backup files automatically of with the name bookmarks, a date and the extension .json.
If you delete a bookmark from your library it will still exist for a while in the bookmarks backup. Additionaly a record of the site visit will be held in the History unless you visited whilst using Private Browsing.
If you were to delete places.sqlite note you would loose History as well as ALL your own bookmarks, including any tags keywords folders and descriptions.
Not sue whether that answers your question fully as I am not too sure what you may wish to achieve. Has something happened that you wish to prevent?
Depending on what you are trying to do some of these may be worth reading:
*[[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit]]
*[[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data]]

  • Where can I find appleworks after I have completely erased my computer.

I recently erased everything off of my computer, but I don't have basic applications like iPhoto or appleworks in my application folder. Where can I find them to download them on to my computer. I heard I could get them on my original mac software that I received when I bought my mac. Is this true?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
I'm guessing you have a G5 iMac. If it is a pre-Intel iMac, AppleWorks was pre-installed on it. Apple has written two articles, Knowledge Base article 300316 on installing AppleWorks 6 & Knowledge Base article 61802 on restoring the software than came with your Mac.
The "iMacPowerMac6,1" in your profile doesn't mean much to me or other "old-timers" around here & I haven't found a list to convert it to something I do know.

  • Where can I find a sample of dbca.rsp file?

    Dear all,
I've just successfully installed for the first time Oracle 11g in silent mode on Redhat Enterprise 5.3
(I installed in silent mode because there is no X system installled on this Linux server).
The installation was completely successful. I used the response file provided in the response
directory (ee.rsp) and I defined the parameters value properly according to what I needed..
Now I want to install a general purpose database. According to what I read in Oracle 11g installation guide,
it is also possible to use DBCA in silent mode again by using a response file.
Now the problem is that I searched for all response files in the oracle package that I downloaded, there
is only three response files (for different type of installations Enterprise, Standard, etc.) but no dbca.rsp.
    Well, when I run
    $ su oracle
    passwd
$ dbca -hI can see the possible options, but in a response file the information is more detailed (specially for
someone like me who is going to use this command for the first time).
Where can I find this file? if it is not provided with Oracle package, in the case where you have a sample
could you kindly copy/paste a version of the file (after removing of course all confidential set of information)?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dariyoosh

    Hi,
Normally response files located under “Disk1/response“. But for 11g these files are missing from OTN zip files. All the files are there in the correct location on Media download.
They are trying to fix this.
Try to download latest version and check if it available. If available copy the file and run the DBCA.
Otherwise use vncserver for GUI, it comes with RHEL.
Run below command and choose password.
    $vncserver –geometry 1290x980
It will provide a hostname for desktop version to open from VCN viewer.
Download VNC viewer from web and run the VNC viewer from your desktop and provide the hostname provided by "vncserver" command.
    Hope this helps
