JDev11.1.1.4 IDE error: not displaying view link in service's Data Model

Greetings,
I was trying to update master-detail relationship in the Data Model tab of the Service definition tab.
Got an 'unexpected error happened' and Jdeveloper shut down.
After I re-opened it, I do not see my adf view links under the packages in the Available View Objects multiselect in the Data Model tab of the visual editor for service definition file.
Also there was an uncaught exception thrown:
'Performing action Clean All [ from oracle.ide.......CodeEditor]
Performing action Optn ... [ from from oracle.ide.......CodeEditor]
Uncaught Exception
IllligalArgumentException: component not found in tabbed pane......
Also in the message log:
Business Components: Load error.

Click on the Proxy Service in your ALSB project to go to Proxy Service Configuration page. On this page, you will see an endpoint URI, something like /myservice. To get the wsdl in browser, use the URL like http://mymachine:7001/myservice?wsdl

Here is the problem we are facing. We are at SRM 5.0 with Extended Classic and no IMS configured.
u2022 Activity u2013
1. Invoice with value more than PO value is posted and triggered for approval. Zero Tolerance maintained.
2. Posted Invoice has status u2013 u2018To Be Corrected Manuallyu2019.
3. Work Item triggered for approval and is in Approver's inbox.
4. Approver approves the Invoice.
u2022 Expected Result u2013 If Approver tries to approve the Invoice then he/she should get error message u2018Document Contains Errors Approval Not Possibleu2019.

1. If approver tries to approve the Invoice at header level then error message u2018Document Contains Errors -
>Approval Not Possibleu2019 is getting populated. But we have deactivated the approval/rejection button at the header level.
2. Approver is opening up the invoice document and then approves the Invoice. At that time, error message mentioned in point 1 is not getting populated. Instead the message appears as u2018The Invoice Approvedu2019. This is a false indication to approver and work item remains in Approveru2019s queue.
Any solution to resolve this issue?

Hi AP,
Same approver when approves the Invoice at header level, error msg displayed properly. But if he tries to appove the invoice in detailed view - clicking on SAVE - then the error msg is not displayed and instead it shows Invoice Approved and workitem remains in his work list.
Is this because of Autho issue? In that case what autho objects we need to check?
My wild guess about this issue could be because system is not checking if the Doc is complete or not to trigger the respective message. Any thoughts?

SQL error not displayed. Instead wwv_flow.accept was not found

My Question:
Why does the SQL error in this case not get propagated up the chain?
BACKGOUND:
Just spent a few hours trying to figure out why when trying to insert into a table using a wizard created page I was getting the error: The requested URL /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server. It turns out that the error message is a red herring, and the problem was caused by a SQL error that I thought should have been caught and displayed.
When running the page under debug, the error is displayed, but run as Joe Blow user, the www_flow.accept error is received.

ACTUAL PROBLEM:
The sequence TRNG_SEQ does not exist!

Has anyone found what causes this problem? I am running HTMLDB 1.6
I have a HTMLDB application running against four databases. I develop in one and export and import the application to all databases. It appears that on the databases that are NOT development, this www_flow.accept was not found comes up instead of the error page.
Please help! We are getting so close to wanting to release this application.

Preflight errors not displaying

My preflight errors are not displaying - I'm using CS4. At the bottom of the screen I can see that there are errors in my documents but nothing displays in the Preflight window - it used to, but hasn't worked for a couple of weeks now. All suggestions welcome. Thanks

My report is not displaying the data if cube does't have data in perticulear daily bucket(0calday)
Say my cube has

then my report is showimg only these values in couloumn (0calday) ....
but i want to see all the daily buckets even cube dosn't have data (this example 12/6/2008) ...
I am giving the date range in report selection screen 10/6/2008 to 13/6/2008 ...

Such issues can be caused by margin or padding settings that depend on the font-size, but I'm not seeing any such CSS rules and increasing the font-size doesn't cause any problems.
Try to the reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Using FM10/RH9/Windows XP
I conditionalized all of my graphics in Framemaker to not display before I linked the book file to RH. On the Conversion Settings dialog box in the FrameMaker Settings list box, I selected Other Settings and then selected the Apply FrameMaker Conditional Text Build Expression so that the anchored frame would not display as an empty line in RH. But the space is there. This used to work fine.
In FM, all images are wrapped in a fig tag. Everything looks great in FM, great in RH, not so great in FlashHelp.

Email text not displaying normally / links within email not functioning

All of a sudden, emails are not displaying normally; symbols and numbers are interspersed within words of emails, no graphics, no functioning links within emails on my BlackBerry Curve 8530. Verizon Wireless suggested I upgrade to a different phone. That's helpful.

Have you sent HTML emails to GMAIL, HOTMAIL and YAHOO accounts successfully before? Are those services capable of handling HTML formatted email? Not all email clients can handle that type of email.

I have the same problem.
I was watching 3G TV on RealPlayer when suddenly RealPlayer crashed. This made the Home screen shortcuts disappear, and the Dial Pad and Contacts Pad stopped working.
I managed to get the shortcuts back, and to recover the Dial Pad and Contacts, by deleting a file in c:\private (but I should not talk about this here).
Anyway, now, the streaming links existing previously to the crash do not display, as the original poster says, the list refreshes itself but appears empty.
The links are there though, because when I try to re-save the same link, RealPlayer creates a TV_H26401 link, as the TV_H264 link already exists.
Is there a way to reset the list, or clear it, or to recover it? Maybe by deleting some hidden file which holds the list? No, I am NOT doing a soft or hard reset to solve this problem :-)

PO not displayed in Confirm Goods / service Centrally

We are on SRM 5.0 Extended classic scenario. Backend is ECC 6.0.
A Purchase order has been created in SRM and transferred to ECC does not appear in "Confirm goods / services centrally" transaction.
We noticed that in the Vendor master (Manage business partner) for that Vendor - ERS and Invoice Receipt Expected indicator were NOT set and PO was already created. These two options have been enabled now. Could this be a cause ?
Any inputs or solutiion would be helpful.

you can deactivate the Extended search by modifying the template in SE80.
However for confirmation every time one has to enter the PO number and then do a confirmation.
This is the same functionality as we have in R3 MM in MIGO transaction.
so whether it is simple search or exteneded search the Po number is an input for performing the Confirmation.

Not able to save a newly created Data Model in BI Publisher.

Hello everyone,
I was trying to create a new Report (my very first report) in BI Publisher. I created a new Data Model and a Data Set. But I am not able to save the Data Model and thus not able to proceed to the report. There's no error shown. Same happens with reports too.
Kindly provide me with a solution.

You should have a group called 'XMLP_ADMIN' in your repository and administrator or the user you are using should be part of that group. Look into paint.rpd for all these.

PHP errors not displaying

While editing my web page i noticed that when i have a PHP error on the site, firefox simply does not attempt to open the page. Like, if im on yahoo, and type in the pages URL, it will start loading it then stop and stay on yahoo (for example). Ive loaded firefox via another user profile and tried it in chrome as well and the error displays as wanted. Ive turned off all addons and extensions in my default user profile and still get the same issue.
I know that simply creating a new user profile will fix the issue, however i have a LOT of saved passwords, bookmarks, ect that id rather not start over with. Anyone have any ideas of an option that blocks this?

OK, I got it to work.
I went to Help->Troubleshooting Information.
In the upper right corner, I clicked the Reset Firefox button.
When it came back up, the PHP error messages were finally being displayed from my test file. Some of the options (tab and toolbar settings, etc) were set back to defaults, but all my bookmarks were intact. Not sure about passwords and history, but I'd guess it's OK.

Lccs.swc error: Not displaying any rtc collaboration GUI components

I'm using flex builder 4.6 for the first time and my intention is to try out a sample video conferencing application. I've succesfully made a connection to the lccs room console but I have not been able to display any components on the default state (There are two states, the login state and the default state). While the login state shows the login field (created using spark components) the default state shows nothing but a blank window (these are supposed to initiate video chat through a webcam and are created using rtc components). No matter what I do nothing is displayed on this window and I have tried running this app on the web, mobile and desktop to no avail. The only error that appears is this (wrt the design view):
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\eclipse\plugins\com.adobe.lccs\libs\player10.3\lccs.swc- not respondingSWC file failed to load. Any component dependent on this SWC file will not be displayed in the Design Mode.The SWC may have failed to load because of:

I'm running adobe flash player 11.1 and the latest version of air. I tried installing flash player 10.3 but that didn't help any. I don't understand why all the tutorials online seem to list this as a sample easy flex application meanwhile no one in any forums have encountered this situation. Is lccs.swc currently deprecated or something? Does this have anything to do with a departure from flash or flex development for adobe? None of the online tutorials have been updated to reflect flex builder 4.6 development (the videos on the lccs page are for flex builder 3 or at the most 4). Is there a lccs.swc plugin currently available for 11.1?
Unless I'm doing something wrong, but following the tutorials verbatim does not seem to indicate otherwise..please help!!!

I just tried using flex builder sdk 4.5.1 but the problem remains. It seems i'll have to somehow revert to sdk 4.0 or 4.1 (the most consistent one in the examples) to resolve the issue. However using it with flex builder 4.6 seems to bring a lot of errors at runtime. Do you know how I can get 4.0 sdk working with flexbuilder 4.6 or with eclipse? Is design mode broken with 4.0?

Finder 600 error/not displaying files

Finder giving me a 600 error, if it opens it won't display files, especially those on a network hard drive. It will let me see most folders though, again, if I can get past the 600 error. iTunes stopped working for a while but the second I clicked into these forums it worked!
I've seen some similar threads but they didn't fix my issue. FYI I'm running the latest OS.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up guest users” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Error not displayed in TCode CAT2

Hi,
We have created a new data profile wherein we have added an extra column for receiving order. The scenario is as described below:
IN TCode CAT2, when we enter value in the receiving order coulmn along with values in the other columns for Activity type, Receiving sales order, Receiving Item and enter time on Monday as 10:00 to 11:00 and in the next row, add the same details, except I enter time on Monday (same day as previous row) 10:00 to 13:00, the system does not throw a time coliision error (which is not correct).
In the same data profile, if I dont enter any value in the receiving order columns but enter values in all the other columns mentioned above, and enter the time as mentioned above, it gives me a time collision error (this is correct)
What should I do so that the system gives the time collision error when I have values in the receiving order field (along with values in the other fields for this scenario as described above with the day and times)?
Please help as I am totally new to SAP HR.

Hi,
One correction to my earlier post is that if I dont enter any value in the receiving order column but enter values in Activity type, Receiving sales order, Receiving Item, overhead columns (also a new column added via some other data profile) along with the time on Monday as mentioned above (1st row 10:00 to 11:00 and 2nd row 10:00 to 13:00), the system throws an error for time collision, which is correct.
How do I ensure that when values are entered in the receiving order column with the time entered the same as above on Monday, the system will throw an error?
Please help as this is critical.

OD with errors, not displaying my users

Yesterday the OD Slave was having issues and now today the Master OD is having the same issues.
When launching Workgroup Manager I get this error message (which isn't well documented here on the interwebs):
"Error of type eDSOperationFailed (-14483) on line 3395 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-361.3.1/PMMUGMainView.mm"
I try to follow the path in the error message and there is no /SourceCache directory that I can find.
Console Messages is giving me this group of error messages over and over every couple of seconds.

2 days ago we had a network switch failure that I am wondering could be the root cause, but I don't have any clue.

Funnily enough though WGM works fine if I lauch it imediately after boot. Seems that if server admin is launched before WGM the issue occurs...
This has literally just begun so sorry for no technical input yet as I have jsut begun troubleshooting myself, have you managed to discover anything since first coming across the problem?
