JDev3.2.3; DACF; Exception while publishing a SessionInfo
I close the session this way:
==================================
sesion.revokeSession();
InfoBusManager.getInstance().fireReleaseResources(this, this);
sesion.close();
==================================
when ever I try to publish that session again, I have a null pointer exception :-(
null
It appears that you did'nt insert the newly created row in the view object.
public void addRows() {
ViewObject vo = sessionInfo.getApplicationModule().findViewObject("ColorsView");
Row row = vo.createRow();
row.setAttribute("Cpk",new Number(100));
row.setAttribute("CTitle","Test value");// missing ?.
vo.insertRow(row);
}If you are in early stages of your product development, I would recommend
you to upgrade to JDev 9i and use the new JClient framework.
Hope this helps,
Sathish.
I want to use underlined ViewObject to insert new rows to GridControl.
(I want to do this becouse it's one large operation performed before any other user operations
on the table, and i suppose, using VO is faster than using infobus SRA)
Currently, a wrote test function:
public void addRows() {
ViewObject vo = sessionInfo.getApplicationModule().findViewObject("ColorsView");
Row row = vo.createRow();
row.setAttribute("Cpk",new Number(100));
row.setAttribute("CTitle","Test value");
and i'm call it after sessionInfo.publishSession()
but i don't see any changings is GridControl
How can i publish this changes to GridControl's RowSet ?
Must i extend RowSetInfo to get it's ViewObject or
i can use sessionInfo.getApplicationModule().findViewObject() ?

Cheers,
LakshmiHi ,
I guess you have some lline..
with
getApplicationContext().isSplitUpApplication();
Are the versions of SCA s in NWDI ( i.e xssutils) which you have referenced in ur component.. and the ones deployed in your webAs java server .. the same ?
It seems to be a mismatch.. or the reference declaration might be jus build time .. something like that .. ?

[Portal 7.4] WPC exception while publishing a page
Hi all,
I am having some troubles publishing some pages after I changed the content. These pages are located under: staging area --> area --> PAGE. The page was published before and I had to change some links in the content. Saving the changes works but I can't publish it. When I try to publish the page I get the error message "Exception caught during event invocation" (see screenshot). The page is localized. We have portal 7.4 SP 4
Is is possible to see some logs to figure out what the problem is? I checked the NWA but can't find any logs concerning WPC.
As far as I understood there were some problems in portal 7.0 and 7.3. I couldn't find any similar reported error with portal 7.4 SP 4.
Thanks for any help!
AndreasThis was a simple lock error. After a day I couldn't reproduce the error anymore and WPC works fine since.

Invalid WSDL - Certificate not trusted - Exception while publishing WSDL in OSR from HTTPS Server
Hi,
I am publishing a Web Service in OSR from an HTTPS Server. I am getting exception as
Error message:
WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: java.io.IOException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Server certificate ....... is not trusted!
To remove this exception I have done following steps
a) Added Certificate from remote server in Identity Store of WebLogic Server using keytool utilitity
keytool -import -alias devCertificate -file c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer -truststore demoIdentityStore.jks
b) Added Certificate from remote server in the trust store of weblogic server using keytool utility
keytool -import -alias devCertificate -file c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer -truststore demoTrust.jks
This didnot help.
Then I imported certificate to OSR using PStoreTool command as
PStoreTool.bat add -config C:/OSRHome/registry111/conf/clientconf.xml -certFile c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer
Bounced the servers but that also didnot help.
Can you please suggest?
Thanks,
ParshantI found the fix from Oracle Support Knowlededge Base
sslTool serverInfo --url https://HOST:9043 --certFile newcert.cer
PStoreTool located in REGISTRY_HOME/bin/PStoreTool add -config
WEBLOGIC_HOME/user_projects/domains/[osr_domain_name]/servers/[osr_server_name]/tmp/_WL_user/registry/[unique id]/public/conf/pstore.xml -certFile newcert.cer
I was updating wrong file with the certificate. It had to be pstore.xml. This solved my issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Parshant -

1- I have created a data module in s1000d application of framemaker 10.While publishing it in publication module it says”File does not exist”.
2- Does FrameMaker 10 supports s1000d 4.1 ?See Lorna...it's almost second nature to you now,
editing those js files! I TOLD you you could do it!
Mark, it's EERIE that you should say this to me today because this is exactly what I have been thinking! I can put a song on a page with one eye shut now, and I can zip around those files pretty well (except for the recent fiasco where I didn't even look at the right folder). I also notice that the level of my writing is sounding more technical and familiar with digital world jargon. I remember how you told me I could do it, and you were right. You all were right and I feel more knowledgeable and at a point where I suspect that I can take steps on my own. HTML is a strange land, but just being able to edit that .js file and FIND it by navigating for it in Text Edit has made me feel much more competent.
Before iWeb I didn't realize what Text Edit was for. I used it to take quick fast short notes. I never understood that concept of "opening something up in so and so application." The first time I clicked OPEN in Text Edit, and I saw all those danged files staring at me with beady eyes, I wanted to throw a white hanky and run for the hills. Not any more!

Please help me on this..
Thanks
PMHi all,
Thanks for your help I found my DBAdapter was not running on the server. I redeployed and the issue was resolved.
I tried testing the insert operation from the sbconsole I got the following error. Even from the OSB eclipse console I am facing same issue. I have pasted the error below. If any one can help me on this, will be a great help to me.
The invocation resulted in an error: <jca-transport-application-error xmlns="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports/jca" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

I am trying to publish a LightSwitch 2012 application as Web Application from Windows 7 PC to Windows 2003 IIS server, .Net Framework 4.0
The publish Summary as follows
Application Name - User Test
Application Version - 1.0.6.0
Application Type : Browser
Application Server : IIS Server
Authentication : Windows Authentication
Database : Do not publish
Error details while publishing with the option "IIS server has lightswitch deployment prerequisites installed".

When published without the option "IIS server has lightswitch deployment prerequisites installed".
the applications publishes successfully, But when the application is accessed from Browser it says authentication error.
I have searched a number of blogs with the same issue, but none have answered.
Any help will be highly appreciated.I am once again facing the same issue when trying to publish remotely. But I have done nothing to the server after successful publishing as suggested below,
Not sure why the issue persists again (Could this be a firewall issue?) . Your help will be much appreciated.

Finally, I Could able to resolve the issue. I have identified the below information for a successfull deployment
1. Light switch 2012 application can be published only with Web Deploy 1.1 (which will create Web Deployment Agent Service) in Windows Services list. I had an issue with multiple Web Deploy versions (Web Deploy 2.0, 3.0) which caused to fail the publishing
from Light Switch Development environment. Un-installed all the versions and installed only Web Deploy 1.1 and then published successfully
2. You should use Remote Publish from Light Switch 2012 Development PC as there is no option in IIS 6.0 to import the Package in IIS 6.0 with the packages files similar to the option available in IIS 7.0 and later.
3. You should be able to publish from Light Switch 2012 environment with the option "IIS server has lightswitch deployment prerequisites installed" checked. The application will publish with the option unchecked but it will not work. -
Exception while working with Tibco adapter for Tuxedo!!
Dear friends,:-)
Greetings!
I am facing an exception while working with "Tuxedo Adapter".
I have installed TIBCO Adapter for Tuxedo on my machine which has both bea_Client and Server. I am trying to do a PurchaseOrder POC, which is already given in our TIBCO Adapter directory (C:\TIBCO\adapter\adtuxedo\5.3\examples\AgentBased\PurchaseOrder).
The scenario goes like this, a request is sent from the Tuxedo client called clt, which invokes the Tuxedo service, which in turn sends a request to the adapter (“PublicationService”) through the adapter agent, and then the adapter publishes the data to the TIBCO environment. TIBCO BW receives the data using “Adapter Subscriber” and writes them to an XML output file named Get_output.xml.
Problem in starting the Adapter - :(
When I tried to RUN the make.bat which is placed at the “C:\TIBCO\adapter\adtuxedo\5.3\examples\AgentBased\PurchaseOrder” folder, it throws me the error.
At the time of executing this script, “buildclient -o clt -f client.c”, it says that I don’t have a valid “TUXEDO SDK LICENSE”. The thrown exception is, "TUXNT_CAT:101: ERROR: You do not have a valid TUXEDO SDK license".
Please tell me, is license Required to run the tux_client?
also,please clarify, while configuring “tibco.env.WSNADDR”(i.e., Workstation Address of the Tuxedo server to connect to) I have given my machine IP ADDRESS with a unique port. i.e., //10.103.18.120:4020. I am not sure with this step. Please advice me!
It would be great if you could please solve this issue.
Thanks in Advance,
Best Regards,
Venkatesh Rajendran.Hi Venkatesh,

Dear Wayne,
Thanks a ton for your reply.
Please clarify,
buildclient is a Tuxedo command which is used to generate the Tuxedo client
application. It needs Tuxedo SDK license, so you need to make sure the
license is installed properly.
Can you please let me know from where i can get the License? Can we download
it online?
[W] BEA provide a trial license in the product donwload site, but I am not
sure Tuxedo 8.0 is provide or not. If you or your customer has Tuxedo
installation, the license should alread be ready. It is located at
$TUXDIR/udataobj/lic.txt.
Running tuxedo client does not require SDK license.
I am not sure how to start it. I am actually running the BAT file which has
the following scripts,
set TUXDIR=C:\bea\tuxedo8.0
set WSNADDR=//10.103.18.120:4020
set TUX_ADAPTER_HOME=C:\TIBCO\adapter\adtuxedo\5.3
set TIBCO_RV_HOME=C:\TIBCO\TIBRV

Up to my knowledge, I hope TIBCO TUXEDO
(ie.,TIB_adtuxedo-simple_5.3.0_w32_tuxedo80) acts as a TUXEDO_Server which
receives the Request from TUX_BEA Client(Ex: C:\bea\tuxedo8.0).
Or, does Tuxedo have a seperate Server installed on the machine other than
TIBCO? please clarify.
[W] I don't know the detail about TIBCO Tuxedo adaptor. Following
clarifications for your reference,
1. Tuxedo is an application infrastructure with framework for server and
client. buildclient is used to generate the client binary and buildserver is
used for application server linkage.
2. I guess the TIBCO Tuxedo adaptor is a Tuxedo application client(or
server?) which acts as a proxy process between TIBCO system and Tuxedo
applications. So it receives request from TIBCO system and transform the
requet to native Tuxedo data buffers and make the Tuxedo calls, then relay
the reply back. So first you have to figure out the exact working model of
it and check your Tuxedo applications.
Your reply would be appreciated!
Thanks a ton in Advance!

Error occurred while preparing messages for Publication or while Publishing
Hello
I'm using the rdbms event generator created with WebLogic Integration Administration Console.
When the event generator runs on both my managed servers in the cluster I get the error message below. If it only runs on one of my managed servers, it works OK.
Please advice what I'm supposed to do.
I'm using WebLogic Platform 8.1.6.

Error message while publishing
I have upgraded to OS X 10.5.7 recently. Everything seems to work fine except iWeb. I tried to publish a new page, and got the following error. What was strange that it re-created all the existing pages again, then it gave me this error. At the moment, my site is blank, all the pages and pictures had disappeared and I can't published. Please help.

Welcome to the discussions. That error is mentioned in this Apple doc:

#### Cannot run application UI due to error deploying to DefaultServer.
[Application UI stopped and undeployed from Server Instance DefaultServer]I was facing a similar error, the problem was because of adf-controller.jar. My error was :
java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access method oracle.adf.controller.v2.lifecycle.Lifecycle$Phase.<init>(Ljava/lang/String;)V from class oracle.adfinternal.controller.faces.lifecycle.JSFLifecycle$JSFPhase
The jar's 10g edition has (1st part)oracle.adf.controller.v2.lifecycle.Lifecycle$Phase and 11g edition has (2nd part) oracle.adfinternal.controller.faces.lifecycle.JSFLifecycle$JSFPhase. So I created my own jar extracting both jars at one place using the following command
jar -cf adf-controller.jar .
This solved my problem.
Hope you get the idea. The best way to face these type of errors is opening the archive and checking for the files for which the compiler is complaining. -
Failed to commit objects to server. Error while publishing reports from BW
Hi,
I am getting below error while publishing reports from BW to BO.
"0000000001 Unable to commit the changes to Enterprise. Reason: Failed to commit objects to server : #Duplicate object name in the same folder."
Anyone having any solution for this. Thanks in advance.Hi Amit
It would be great if you could add a little info about how you solved this issue. Others might run into similar situations - I just did:-(
Thank you:-) -

I have tried changing the "DataSourceMode" as below, now the insert command is working, but update command is not working.
<SharePoint:SPDataSource runat="server" DataSourceMode="ListItem" />
Also, the lookup dropdown fields are displaying the value as "<a href="Daughterhttp://cpsp10/sites/Employees/_layouts/listform.aspx?PageType=4&ListId={8F62F444-FB6A-4F03-9522-C4696B45DCD1}&ID=10&RootFolder=*">Daughter</a>"
instead of only "Daughter".
Please provide the solution to get rid of this issue.
Thanks

http://blog.jussipalo.com/2012/01/sharepoint-2010-data-source-control.html
While there can be many causes for this generic error message, in my case the first parameter or ddwrt:DataBind function inside the SharePoint:FormFields element was
'i' and I was working with an Edit Form. Changing it to
'u' as it was with every other FormField fixed the issue.
<SharePoint:FormField runat="server" id="ff1{$Pos}" ControlMode="Edit" FieldName="Esittaja" __designer:bind="{ddwrt:DataBind('u',concat('ff1',$Pos),'Value','ValueChanged','ID',ddwrt:EscapeDelims(string(@ID)),'@Esittaja')}"
/>
Explanation:
DataBind operation type parameters (the first parameter) are listed below:
'i' stands for INSERT,
'u' stands for UPDATE,
'd' stands for DELETE.
