Jdeveloper 3.0 Additional options

How and where do I specify additional options in Jdeveloper3.0. I would like to specify ser2class option while compiling SQLJ files.

I was able to use the -ser2class option once I updated the translator.zip file in the sqlj directory to the newest 8.1.6 version. Before that I had no luck.
Does this mean that deployment of Java stored procedures is restricted to the command line until JDeveloper 3.1? When I try to deploy the java file with the .ser files for the profile, I am informed that an error occurred since the file is not externalizable which is incompatible with serializable or something like that.

How can I deliver to custom server-side LoginModule additional options?

I need to deliver additional options to sever-side custom LoginModule when I use Weblogic Security Framework (Weblogic 9.2). How can I do it?

So I'm guessing you want to take into account other factors in the auth decision? The sample authentication provider does show some additional context api's I believe, I haven't looked at it in awhile.
I recommend that you concisely write your requirements with a detailed example and post the question in the WLS - Security forum which will have a more specialized focus on the security sub-system.

Bug Report (JDeveloper): No relative link option

To the JDeveloper team:
The html/jsp editor in JDeveloper has a "link" in the component palette but the dialog box does not provide an option for a relative link. Thus it is not possible to create the link: Ugh without manually removing the "http://" that is inserted by the palette. Simply add such an option to the dialog box dropdown to solve this.
(If there is a better place to direct such bug reports let me know.)

Install additional option of LiveCycle ES

Hi,
I have installed and configured LiveCycle ES 8.2 Forms and Reader Extensions. Now, I want to install the LiveCycle ES Output. Is it possible to start the installer again and install only this component? And how about the Service Pack 1?

Provide additional serial number for Output ES
Make sure Output ES gets listed on clicking Apply
Finish Install
Run LCM, choose the option to build the EAR files (others not needed)
Deploy the newly-built EAR files to JBoss' /deploy folder
Re-start JBoss
Have you applied SP1 already? If yes, no need to re-apply afterwards.

Problem installing additional options after upgrade to 8.1.7.4

Hi all,
the installer gives me a bit of a problem. I installed 8.1.7 without intermedia and upgraded the installation to 8.1.7.4.
Now I need to install intermedia onto the same ORACLE_HOME. I do this from the 8.1.7.0 cd-rom.
But before I can select only to install intermedia, the installer says that there is an higher version of the database installed in de ORACLE_HOME and the installer can not continue and suggests to install into a different ORACLE_HOME.
I tried to install from the 8.1.7.4 staging area, but that way one can only upgrade allready installed opptions.
The only option I have left to try is to install into a different ORACLE_HOME and manually copy everything into the exsisting ORACLE_HOME. But I'm affraid that would leave me with a buggy installation (the installer not knowing what is going on and such).
I'm sure I'm not the first to do this.
Ideas anyone?

Might as well respond to my own posting, since this is still at the top of a google search for UTL_NLA invalid.
The only solution is to either use transportable tablespaces , exp/imp, or expdp/impdp to move your data over to a fresh 10.2.0.3 or 10.2.0.4 system. The problem occurs due to database originally in 32-bit mode being upgraded to 64-bit 10.2.0.3 prior to applying 10.2.0.3 patches 5892355 and 5871314. Applying these two patches after you have already upgraded it 10.2.0.3 will not help. The corruption enters during the Oracle upgrade process and once present is unfixable. We pushed oracle support for a long time but never got a workable fix.

Additional options for Photoshop Brushes pop-up window

I created Brushes to add borders or edges arround images and for every brush 4 different angles: 0, 90, 180, 270 because it is much easier to change from right click pop-up window or using , and . keyboard shortcuts then opening Brush panel or to use Options Bar every single time. What I suggest is to add at least Flip X and Flip Y in right click pop-up window from Brush Tip Shape tab. It will be great to have and angle control and clicable icon (or keyboard shortcut) to set options for current Brush as for previous. Here I mean options like Wet Edges, Color Dynamics and so on. I like randomness of colors whith Color Dynamics and Air brush mode but colors changing too fast, can you add some control over it for example to press some key and slow down display of color randomness. I know what to do to save every brush with preferred options but I plan to share this brushes and those preferences may not be very exciting for other users.

Often, the feedback/feature request sub-forms are disbanded and shut down, when a new version is released. Not sure if that happened here, but if the last post is close to the CS 5.5 releases, then it might explain it. In a case like this, should the sub-form be closed, it would be nice to get a sticky telling everyone that it is now closed.

I create a library named mysql and mysql jar file in inside it , i add the library to application but in the generated war file it is not inside the web-in/lib folder

Check in Tools | Project Properties | Libraries
Assume you have added your Library here. Highlight your library and click Edit to review this entry. Make sure the 'Deployed by Default' checkbox is checked?
Also, check your deployment profile settings:
File Groups | WEB-INF/lib | Contributors -
make sure your library is selected for deployment (should be if you do the step above.)

When I right click on the tool bar (on icons with the little arrow down and to the right) to get the additional options, nothing happens.

I've been trying to get the circle too, or any other tool options and just can't. Right clicking anywhere on the tool bar does nothing. Neither does double clicking the down/right arrow. Did I screw up my preferences or disable something? I'd love a little help here. I'd ask adobe directly but the chat somehow got disabled, and I don't have time to call.

Printing Options - additional option - "Print Selected"

I would like to see an option in the print window for "Print Selected" as in Windows.
The only choice we have, AFAIK, is to print a single page or the whole enchilada.
If I wish to print a small selection from a large page I have to copy and paste it into a text file and then print that.
It would be handy to simply be able to select an area with the mouse to be printed and print it directly from the print function.

HT1212 I have followed all the instructions listed above, but I have not been successful with unlocking my iPod. It is currently disabled due to a forgotten passcode. Are there any additional options that I have to unlock my iPod touch?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Tag libraries added to Jdeveloper using Manage Libs option

I have done this many times and every time I do it there is a different result.
I create a new Tag with name and the attribute values in my tld file.
The web.xml have the location of the .tld.
In the jsp I try to use the most recently added tag and I cannot see it BUT I can use it!
this is the error::: 'tg:dateField' is not a registered tag in namespace '/WEB-INF/tags.tld'.
All my other tags are in the same .tld and I can see them as context sensitive menu BUT not the one that I just added.
I tried....
Restarting Jdev (worked once)
ReBuilding my project
but isn't Jdev being inconsistant?? or am I doing something wrong here? Are there any other solutions
please share.

Addition in drill down option in report RMCE0200 for transaction MC$4

Hello Gurus ,
I am working on a requirement assciated with report RMCE0200 (Transaction MC$4). This a standard SAP report. After execution of report when we go to Switch Drilldown option, it gives, couple of standard SAP drilldown options like drilldown by Material Group, Material, Plant, Purchase Organization, Vendor, Vendor Country, Period.
User wants one more additional drill down option of VBUND field (Trading partner) in this standard list.
How can I add this additional option ? Is there a configuration somewhere or I have to copy the program RMCE0200 and Transaction MC$4 in Z program and then do modificiations ?
Please help as I have not much worked on reporting.

Automated addition of Chinese Pinyin keyboard options

I have Windows 7 x64 sp1 machines with both English and Chinese keyboards installed. The Chinese keyboard is
Chinese (Simplified) - US Keyboard and was installed via regkey during the image process, using the input locale code for Chinese Simplified 00000804

I have a request to add the Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin New experience input, and Microsoft Pinyin ABC input styles, which are additional options when navigating to Region and Language-Change Keyboards-Add-Chinese (Simplified PRC)
There aren't locale codes for these, how can I add these selections to my windows 7 machines in Asia in an automated way, without having to touch each one manually?

For Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin New experience input the code is E0210804, you can follow the same way here:

The Chinese ( Simplified )-Microsoft Pinyin ABC Input Style uses the same hex code 00000804 as well as the Chinese ( Simplified )-US Keyboard.
The only differences are due to the Layout Display Name and the Layout Text. You could change it in the following registry location:
a. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
b. Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Keyboard Layouts\00000804
c. For the Chinese ( Simplified )-US Keyboard, the Layout Display Name sets the value: @%SystemRoot%\system32\input.dll,-5072
d. For the Chinese ( Simplified )-Microsoft Pinyin ABC Input Style, the Layout Display Name sets the value: @%SystemRoot%\system32\input.dll,-5076
e. By Default, the Chinese ( Simplified )-US Keyboard is configured for the Layout Display Name and the Layout Text. In order to configure the Chinese ( Simplified )
-Microsoft Pinyin ABC Input Style as the default input keyboard, you may write a script to modify the above registry file.

Additional Security option of 'Unlocked Period' mode for Tablets & Mobiles

Currently Tablets & Mobiles have screen locking 'Security' feature which provides us two options of 'Pattern' or 'PIN'.
with an additional option of 'Unlock period' - during this pre-configured time period the product would automatically switch to 'Unlocked' mode. I stumbled upon this as a personal requirement which has a potential to become a feature in Xperia Tablets & mobiles........
Tablets are usually lying at home and seldom carried as mobiles.
Kids love to play their daily dose of games on them.
However as a parent we usually tend to restrict this gaming activity for 30 or 60 min/day by having a password (pin/pattern) in place.
The problem here is parents need to unlock the tablet and give it to the kids,
in the absence of the parents it cannot be done unless we share the password.... which defies the whole purpose of having a password. Benefits: This would definitely benefit the kids and also restrict the overall usage of a product keeping both parents & kids happy....

I don't know but there might be apps on Google Play that enables this. I will however forward this internally as feedback.
