JDeveloper unable to connect to public UDDI

I am facing problem connecting to public UDDI registries like IBM and Microsoft. My PC is behind a Proxy and I have entered the IP address and port in JDevelopers Preferences dialog. The error I get is that the response is text/html instead of text/xml
Since the PC is behind a proxy, the proxy will ask for a ID/Password and then only it will connect to UDDI. I think this is what is causing the error. Please suggest solution. The error message I get is:
Testing connection with proxy 172.17.1.11:80...

Unsupported response content type "text/html", must be: "text/xml".
The inquiry endpoint could not be contacted. Test failed.

  • Javascript probe - unable to connect to public WLA...

    Hi
    I have been unable to connect to a public Wi-Fi access point (such as BT Openzone) using my 5330 smartphone.
    The phone locates and connects but before I get a log-in page a "Javascript probe" starts running and the page never loads.  BT Openzone say it is because Java is not enabled on my smartphone but as far as I can see, it is.  Can anyone help?
    I have no problems connecting to my own wireless router using the access key with the phone.
    Thanks

  • Unable to connect to public wifi

    My college wifi earlier used proxy settings and it worked just fine on my ipad mini but they recently removed the proxy and now my ipad mini recognises the network buton selecting it...a pop up comes saying "Unable to connect to SRM-MS" where SRM - MS is my networks name...i saw the settings on my friends iphone n did the same but still no luck..

    Hi Dredd27,
    I'm not sure why its not connecting, but here's what I try when iPads aren't connecting to our school's wireless network:
    On the iPad, turn the WiFi off and back on again. Go to Settings -> WiFi. Turn the switch to Off. Wait a few seconds. Turn it back on. Try connecting to the WiFi network again.
    Restart the iPad. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep button until you see the red slider button. Slide to power off. Wait a few seconds. Press and release the Wake/Sleep button to power it back on again. Once it powers back up, try connecting to WiFi again.
    Try reseting the iPad (different from restarting). Hold down on both the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds (ignore the red slider button). Keep holding both buttons until the Apple Logo appears. When you see the Apple logo on the black screen, let go of both buttons. Once it powers back up, try connecting to WiFi again.
    Try resetting the network connections on your iPad. General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.
    Hope this helps!

  • Why am I unable to connect to Public WiFi HotSpots?

    My MacBook Pro (late 2010), refuses to connect to most Public WiFi networks. However, my iPhone has no issues. Typically, I will be in a coffee shop or airport lounge. I'll take out my iPhone and launch Safari. Safari will try for a second or two to connect, and then a "Login" page will pop up. Usually it is simply a request to accept the Terms & Conditions for the access provider. Tick the "I Accept" box and continue. Same location, using my MBP, I launch Safari and Safari tries to connect and does nothing. Spinning Beach Ball. I do not get the "Accept" page with the Terms & Conditions. Sounds to me like a Security or "Re direct" Issue. Any ideas why this works with the iPhone and not the MBP? This is a chronic problem for me and I'm getting tired of it. Thanks for any assistance.

    Thanks for the suggestion. What you suggest is not the issue. Network Preferences says Airport is Connected and I have an IP Address. Safari picks up the redirect URL but will not display the page. Workaround is to launch another browser, (I use Firefox). Then the Login Page displays correctly. Once logged in using Firefox, I can then launch Safari and all is good. This technique works most of the time. However, there are some sites where the same problem happens with Firefox or any other browser I try. Workaround is to restart in Bootcamp (Windows 7 & IE). This is just not right! I don't seem to be getting many responses so this is likely not a wide spread issue and may perhaps be due to something peculiar to my system.

  • JDeveloper - Unable to connect to database : ORA-00604, ORA-02248

    Dear All,
    We have integrated our source control tool with Jdeveloper. It is a perl script. To check in a file to the source control repository, we are invoking this perl script. When we select CVS as the versioning scheme, under Preferences->Versioning->CVS, we can select an external script to be run instead of cvs binary directly.
    The perl script will connect to a database (It use DBI perl modules to connect) during its execution and it works fine if we run from command line.
    But, when the same script is called from Jdeveloper, It reports the following error.
    <quote>
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1

  • Unable to connect to Public (Internet)

    I recently install BM38 and now I can not access anything outside my
    privite network. I can not even aaping my plulic address from my
    workstations. I do not have any idea what I net to configure.

    You definitely need to do some reading on how BorderManager works.
    BorderManager is a firewall, and as such it installs packet filtering.
    The filter defaults block all outbound and inbound traffic, except
    certain application which then must use the proxies. If you want to
    allow additional non-proxy traffic, you would have to create your own
    filter exceptions. (Which is easy, once you know how).
    You took the hardest possible way I can think of to disable filtering.
    A much simpler way would be to go to INETCFG, Protocols, TCPIP, and
    disable Filter Support near the bottom of the menu.
    Have a look at the URL below.

  • Macbook pro wifi security won't let me connect to public/login networks

    I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro retina switching from Windows to Mac. One very frustrating thing I have found is that I am unable to connect to public wifi spots such as AT&T in Barnes and Noble. I read that a security udpate requires that the mac "phone" an Ip address at apple.com to inquire about the hotspot certificate in order to determine its legitimacy. The problem is I can't gain network access until I agree to the login/authentication page for the public network. Does anyone know a work around/way to connect to these public wifi spots? I get that security is important but it is very annoying not to be able to use wifi in places like Barnes and Nobles and Starbucks.

    I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro retina switching from Windows to Mac.

    Please read the warranty paperwork that came w/your computer.
    You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked.
    You have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
    Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out.  Let Apple deal w/the problems.

    Hello,
    I got a little problem with my iPhone 4S 16go.
    When i'm on 3G, I'm unable to connect on a public wifi that uses a pop-up to go trough an internet page to connect.
    Normally, a pop-up opens automaticly with the commercial page where I need to click to connect. In fact, this pop-up is appearing but it stays white ... The only way it worked for connecting to wifi  is when I turn off the 3G but there is surely a solution !
    I count on you !

    At a shopping center , but that's a commercial wifi that disconnect everytime when I put my cellphone on stanby mode. The connect, we need to go trough a site where we need to click to connect..

    Hi,
    You wrote that you connect to the SAP uddi:
    Service Registry (UDDI Service)
    Server Name:sr.esworkplace.sap.com
    Server Port:sr.esworkplace.sap.com
    Server Port:50000
    Server HTTPS Port:50043
    Inquiry Path:uddi/api/inquiry
    Publish Path:uddi/api/publish
    Security Path:uddi/api/security
    sr.esworkplace.sap.com is not on your home pc. Its a SAP public uddi.
    If you want to connect to your own pc than your configuration would be sompething like this:
    Server Name:localhost
    Server Port:50000
    Server HTTPS Port:50043
    Inquiry Path:uddi/api/inquiry
    Publish Path:uddi/api/publish
    Security Path:uddi/api/security
    And you shouldn't use this login data
    login/pwd: sruser
    password: eswork123

  • Debug Remotelly WebLogic Web Service - Debugger unable to connect

    I have been able to debug locally when I start debug from IntegratedWebLogicServer,
    but I have not been able to debug remotelly although I deploied successfully to WebLogic Server and I got correct result while testing from SoapUI.
    With the purpose to debug remotelly the simple web service described below, I have done these steps on my enviroment:
    On WebLogic
    1) In the WebLogic console, belong the AdminServer definition, I browsed to Protocol > HTTP Tunneling and I checked it.
    2) In startWebLogic.cmd I added:
    set JAVA_OPTIONS=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=4000,server=y,suspend=n %SAVE_JAVA_OPTIONS%
    3) In setDomainEnv.cmd I changed to be:
    set debugFlag=true
    if "%debugFlag%"=="true" (
         set JAVA_DEBUG=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=%DEBUG_PORT%,server=y,suspend=n -Djava.compiler=NONE
         set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% %enableHotswapFlag% -ea -da:com.bea... -da:javelin... -da:weblogic... -ea:com.bea.wli... -ea:com.bea.broker... -ea:com.bea.sbconsole...
    After that, I restarted the weblogic.
    On JDeveloper
    4) In the page Project Properties > Run/Debug/Profile > Default > Edit:
    I wrote the path to the HelloWorld.java on Default Run Target box.
    I checked Remote Debugging
    5) I right clicked the project and clicked Start Remote Debugger.
    On Attach to JDPA Debugger window I wrote LocalHost on Host and 4000 on Port.
    In my log window I got this message:
    "Debugger attempting to connect to remote process at LocalHost 4000.
    ...Debugger unable to connect to remote process."
    I was expecting to be able to call the web service from SoapUI and then stop on my breakpopint. What else should I do?
    The only suggestion found on internet I have not done was
    "In order for JDeveloper to work with WebLogic it will need a copy of the weblogic.jar file that can be found at [WLS-root]\weblogic1001\server\lib, copy this file to [jdev-root]\jdev\lib\ext directory and restart JDeveloper."
    (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/remotedebugwls-086628.html) I didn't find the path [jdev-root]\jdev\lib\ext in my computer.

    The local Admin Password was reset to the "original" (after install) one.
    Any ideas how to fix the problem?

    Dear all,
    the encryption was NO on all protocols.
    Because no additional ideas available, i uninstalled the SQL Server on friday.
    At the Re-Install Process i got again an error:
    [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]Shared Memory Provider: No process is on the
    other end of the pipe .
    The install process failed.
    On google i found the same problem in an other thread:
    http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.sqlserver.connect/browse_thread/thread/dbec4a9a271f69a6/7cd22694da3a6062?lnk=st&q=%22Shared+Memory+Provider%3A+No+process+is+on+the+other+end+of+the+pipe%22&rnum=2&hl=en#7cd22694da3a6062
    ++++++
    During the installation process of SQL Server 2005, Setup complains it cannot
    connect to the database service for server configuration. The error was:
    [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]Shared Memory Provider: No process is on the
    other end of the pipe .
    I have checked that the pipe exists (\\.\pipe\SQLLocal\MyInstance), but
    everytime the installer attempts the connecting the pipe is closed by the
    server and another is reopened. That's why the Client says there is no
    process on the other end of the pipe.
    I have re-installed 'everything', tried connections via TCP, but nothing
    works.
    I have made a small application to connect to the pipe and noticed that
    there are 3 instances of the pipe running, one that I am connecting to, and 2
    listening pipes. If I write to 'my' pipe SQL server disconnects the pipe and
    reopens another too. The difference is that SQL server writes an error
    message in the log file. No such luck when the Native client is doing the
    same.
    What more can I do?
    ++++++
    and an answer
    ++++++
    I finaly found the problem to be the certificate used.
    I noticed that a certificate was added to the machinekeys just recently.
    (in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
    Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys)
    I renamed it to another name and re-installed sql server.
    I noticed that sql server ERRORLOG complained about certificate that it
    couldn't load and the generation of a self-generaed certificate (see below)
    "2005-12-10 21:01:02.30 Server      The server could not load the
    certificate it needs to initiate an SSL connection. It returned the following
    error: 0x8009030d. Check certificates to make sure they are valid.
    2005-12-10 21:01:02.49 Server      A self-generated certificate was
    successfully loaded for encryption."
    Now the installation succeeded
    ++++++
    With Windows 2008 it was really a challange to get access to this folder (!!!)
    After clearing the folder the ReInstall of SQL Server works fine.
    Now the SQL Server & the SQL Server Agent works again.
    The problem was anything with encryption, old certs & files.
    I don't think that everyone can afford reinstalling SQL server.
    I finaly found the problem to be the certificate used.
    I noticed that a certificate was added to the machinekeys just recently.
    (in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
    Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys)
    I think this is what the following blog was saying , a problem with certification
    http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2006/07/26/678596.aspx

  • Adding a Subreport to existing report and getting this error, "Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters"

    I have taken on an existing vb.net project done in Visual Studio 2008 with crystal reports version Crystal Report XI.
    The reports on their own work very well. Problem is I need to add information to my report which is a 'many-to-one' situation where for each Project Id that I am displaying I need to display several attached documents and the report I am working on is for several Project Id's.
    I figured this would be a perfect situation for a SubReport. I created a separate report which calls a stored procedure to get all of the Attached Documents for a specific Project Id. I thought if I were to add this new SubReport to the Original Report and link the Project Id's, easy-peazy, I would be done.
    This is not the case. I have vb code that loads the Original Report with a stored procedure and when this code runs with the setup I described above it fails when it is creating the final report with the following error:
    Logon failed. Details: crdb_adoplus : Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Error in File C:\~\ProjectDescriptionReport {6BA19F79-2A12-4826-B1F6-456EF799963B}.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters.
    I have no specific connections in my vb code for the reports. If I do not add the subreport to the main report, it loads correctly, so I know the error is caused by the subreport.
    This is the code that creates the original report (sorry for dumping the code here, i just thought it would be easier to see all the code) :
    Public Function LoadReport(ByVal inProjectNum As Integer, ByVal strProjectName As String) As DataTable ', ByVal inFiscalYear As Integer, ByVal inCompany As String) As DataTable
            Dim cnn As SqlConnection = Nothing
            Dim cmd As Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand
            Dim obj As New clsDataClass
            Dim dataAdapter As SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter
            Try
                LoadReport = New DataTable("DescriptionReport")
                cmd = New SqlCommand()
                cnn = obj.Create_Connection()
                With cmd
                    .CommandType = Data.CommandType.StoredProcedure
                    .Connection = cnn
                    .CommandTimeout = "60"
                    .CommandText = "usp_GetProjectGroupSpecsCR"
                    .Parameters.AddWithValue("@ProjectNumber", inProjectNum)
                    .Parameters.AddWithValue("@ProjectName", strProjectName)
                End With
                dataAdapter = New System.Data.SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter
                dataAdapter.SelectCommand = cmd
                dataAdapter.Fill(LoadReport)
                Dim oRpt As New ReportDocument()
                oRpt.Load(Server.MapPath("ProjectDescriptionReport.rpt"))
                oRpt.Refresh()
                oRpt.SetDataSource(LoadReport)
                'oRpt.OpenSubreport("AttachmentsReport").SetDataSource(LAR)
                oRpt.SetParameterValue("inProjectNum", inProjectNum)
                oRpt.SetParameterValue("strProjectName", strProjectName)
                oRpt.ExportToHttpResponse(ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat, Response, True, "Projects_DescriptionReport") 'inCompany & "ProjectsReport_Description" & inFiscalYear) <-- Line where the error occures.
    What I need to know is what is the proper way to add a subreport to a vb.net application?
    From the ways I have tried it is clearly not working and I am out of ideas. I am fairly new to Crystal Reports and this way of coding it.
    Any help for this would be greatly appreciated, I've been stuck on this for a while and am finally reaching out to the Crystal Report Specialists.
    Thank you in advance,
    Bryan

    Hi Bryan,
    You may want to check the Connection properties also. I think the MS Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand is using the MDAC driver, or could be modified.
    If you are connecting to SQL Server 2008 or above you should be using the SQL Native 10 or 11 Client.
    As Dell suggests have a look at the samples and if you can use a DSN ( 32 bit or 64 bit ODBC Admin )
    Also search for "CRlogger", you'll find how to enable CR's database logging component and may help show you what part is failing.

    Those last two lines get spammed constantly.
    I've done a little bit of research into the matter, and followed the steps here to try to resolve the problem: http://www.davekb.com/browse_computer_t … server:txt
    Unfortunately it doesn't appear to make any difference.
    Here is my /etc/samba/smb.conf:
    # This is the main Samba configuration file. You should read the
    # smb.conf(5) manual page in order to understand the options listed
    # here. Samba has a huge number of configurable options (perhaps too
    # many!) most of which are not shown in this example
    # For a step to step guide on installing, configuring and using samba,
    # read the Samba-HOWTO-Collection. This may be obtained from:
    # http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba-HOWTO-Collection.pdf
    # Many working examples of smb.conf files can be found in the
    # Samba-Guide which is generated daily and can be downloaded from:
    # http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba-Guide.pdf
    # Any line which starts with a ; (semi-colon) or a # (hash)
    # is a comment and is ignored. In this example we will use a #
    # for commentry and a ; for parts of the config file that you
    # may wish to enable
    # NOTE: Whenever you modify this file you should run the command "testparm"
    # to check that you have not made any basic syntactic errors.

    However, samba was complaining that

    was invalid. I removed that line and it works great.
