JDeveloper Updates for 10.1.2.1.0

I am trying to check updates for Spring Framework. When I try to connect I get the following error.
"An error occured while getting updates from OTN. This maybe due to a network problem, proxy settings or the update center may be temporarily available."
Any HELP is greatly appreciated.

JDeveloper extensions for 11.1.2.4.0 ?

Greetings,
i am using Jdeveloper v11.1.2.4.0 for a while now and i noticed Jdeveloper's extensions still are not updated for this latest updated version.
I am trying to install SOA & BPM extensions. Is there any beta version atleast or any news for when they are coming out? been almost 2 (if not more) months now
from this version release.. Btw Jdeveloper shows me the soa extension in jdeveloper's update center, but the version is not supported for this jdeveloper version. Please fix this
update/upgrade center.

JDeveloper 11gR2 (11.1.2.x) is an ADF-only release. We do not provide the full middleware stack for that version, which explains why the extensions are not available and will never be.To use WebCenter, SOA Suite and other Fusion Middleware technologies, your only option is JDeveloper 11gR1 (11.1.1.x) for the time being.
By the way, JDeveloper 12c 12.1.2 is in the same case as 11gR2. Support for the full stack will come in a future release of the 12.1.x series. And before you ask: No, I cannot provide details about the time frame for that release (unfortunately).

JDeveloper update center misses XSLT

Hi,
The JDeveloper update center at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml used to have a XSLT which formatted the XML nicely to HTML for viewing in a browser. We use this to manually download JDev updates and put them on a network share, since some users do not have access to the internet to download updates straight from JDev.
The XSL seems to be no longer used, which makes it much harder to get the updates manually.

Jdeveloper Update Installation Failed

Dear all
I have tried to install some Jdeveloper updates, and I am getting this error:
Update Installation Failed
Unable to read c:\adf\tmp\update\.....zip
I already tried in 2 different machines with 3 different OS (CentOS, Ubuntu and XP) and the result is the same.
Any ideas?

We are tracking this problem as bug 10239690 in our system.
In the meantime the workaround is to download the file through your browser from:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/index-099997.html
And then point the help->check for update to the local copy of the zip file and do the installation.

That message means that you have to restore the iOS software because something went wrong. Follow the instructions here. I hope that you have a backup.

Tasc_redleader which update exactly are you trying to apply? Your screen shot indicates an update to Photoshop CS6 but your installation log appears to be for Extension Manager CS6.

Camera Raw 6.7 Update for Mac: Installation Failed error message. Update downloaded directly from Adobe website. Newly purchased Mac Workbook Pro, OS 10.10, using Photoshop CS5. Other updates successfully accomplished. Camera Raw 6.7 Update was downloaded multiple times with multiple installation attempts. Any recommendations?

thanks for the prompt response...i appreciate it. according to the link you listed, that's correct. the strange thing is that prior to the upgrad to mac os 10.8.4, photoshop CS5 was working just fine and i was able to open my canon raw files with my current camera raw plug-in version 6.7 which adobe has indicated is the last camera raw update they'll be offering for cs 5
so it's clearly an issue related to the "upgrade" of the os. seems like every solution creates 6 new problems...further evidence for the notion that if it ain't broke don't fix it! thanks again.

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

BIOS Update for HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 CTO

I was just looking at the updates for my laptop and saw two BIOS updates here. I was wondering which one actually applies to my particlular machine. As one can see, one is a few months more recent than the other. Does this mean that it has the fixes that the older one already employs? If so, why list both when only the newst one is relevant?
Looking further into this, I took a look at the revision history (Previous Versions) for both and they each list themselves as "Current". One lists as "F.29 Current 10-2013" and the other "F.24 Current 02-2013". So, which one is actually current?
Can anyone shed some light on this? I can post more specific info about my machine upon request if that would help.

The one with the later date is more current. This is customary on computer manufacturer support websites. They will usually keep the last couple of versions up there with the latest one. Toshiba is particularly bad about never removing old versions of drivers and BIOS. And BIOS updates are cumulative. You can skip over to the latest one and all the updates in all the interim versions will be included. The files are labeled clearly as to their date of issue and that they only apply to models with Intel processors so it should be apparent you need to install the latest one and only of your machine has an Intel processor. If you need anything else let us know.

There are 2 columns. The left one "ADS ON GOOGLE" NEVER RETAINS AFTER LOG-OFF. The right column "Google ads across the web
" seems to retain sometimes - if I remember right it falls off after a period of time as opposed to after just LOGGING-OFF. Below the columns there are options, but I don't have a GOOGLE ACCOUNT.

These 1st 2 links used to have the same trouble and didn't retain ANYTHING and wouldn't re OPT-OUT ANY UNTIL THEY WERE SATIATED - saying I didn't have 3rd party cookies allowed when I did - this took hours.
I sent numerous trouble reports to them that they ignored - then I think I sent one to Firefox and it is much better but still not completely right. Today DAA retains 106 out of 122 and if I repeatedly RE-OPT-OUT successively I can get it to 121 out of 122 - never completely. (currently the one not taking is Accuen Inc. but it changes periodically - makes me think they set one up to take my info and then share it with all of them - lol )
Same for NAI currently I started with 94 out of 96 - next re-OPTED-OUT got it to 95 out of 96 and no further and same co. Accuen Inc (accuenmedia.com ) wouldn't update.
NOTE: I was copy/pasting the list of NON-OPT-OUT'S to them and my own document file to try and find trends/problems...now NAI programmers protected the list from being able to be COPIED AND PASTED!!! That's the opposite of being open and interested in making this work, right? Why would they want to allow us to OPT-OUT of their criminal espionage behavior...RIGHT? (lol) FYI: I recorded that the big one that was always retained before this one was...MEDIA MATH INC.
MANY Opt-outs would drop off while on-line and ALL would drop-off once logged-off. Now it's retaining most once logged off - but it hasn't been long enough to tell if they'll fall back into their bad habits as they've done before...
This has been going on forever for me - I've been reporting this malfunction since 2013.

All the OPT-OUT COOKIES that are to be forevermore retained on my computer and that I am to trust the EVERY FUNCTION OF - well they all have different COOKIE NAMES!! Most of the names you can not tell that they are OPT-OUT COOKIES!! - SO NOWWW They have created another problem.
We can no longer just "DELETE ALL COOKIES".
PLUS, we can no longer go through our cookies and delete individual ones that snuck through.
Every one of the OPT-OUT COOKIES SHOULD SAY "OPT-OUT" IWITHIN THEIR NAME OF THEIR COOKIE - PERIOD. RIGHT? (LOL) For real. Why was this mess was allowed?
REALLY IN MY OPINION THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE BLOCKED AT THE LOCAL PHONE COMPANIES LEVEL - IN OUR SERVERS. We should not have to deal with them. Same thing with viruses, malware and such beasts. But I digress.
In summary:
1.)Google Analytics OPT-OUT Browser Add-on 0.9.6 doesn't retain OPT-OUT settings
2.) JAVA refuses to create updates for WinXP/FireFox/PaleMoon.
3.) DAA & NAI still don't retain ALL OPT-OUT settings and never completely OPT-OUT all companies.
4.) OPT-OUT cookies should be uniformly names with the words OPT-OUT in their titles.
5.) Ad Block Plus 25.6.7 doesn't work for Pale Moon and there is no alternative - (didn't work great in FireFox)
Right now I'm mainly interested in #1)retaining my GOOGLE OPT-OUTS while on line AND while logged off since it is attacking my computer and steeling all the speed until it freezes my keyboard.
Currently I am trying to remember to run through 3. OPT-OUTS every time I log on.

HT1338 How do I get the Lion update for the HP Photosmart 3210 All in One Printer? The auto software update says none are available, while HP says one is available.

I just installed LION and no Power PC Apps work.
HP says there are updates for Lion from MAC APP store for the HP 3210 PhotoSmart All in Printer and provided instructions.
I followed these but no updates were visible or installed. Any idea why?
Is there a place where I can look at Apple for an update?
If no update is available, can anyone recommend a good flatbed scanner for under $400 that works with Lion?

The drivers do available from Apple and your Mac may fails from getting them due to any connectivity or installed software issue.
First make sure you don't have any previous OS drivers installed:
Open Finder, then click Go > Computer and select the active volume of your OS.
(If have couple and not sure which one is correct, click the Apple icon > About This Mac.)
Open Library\Printers and move the HP folder to the trash.
Enter into PPDs\Contents\Resources, search for 3200 in that folder and move the results files.
Reboot your Mac, ensure the printer is turned on, in Ready state and directly connected to your Mac.
Enter Print & Scan, click the Plus sign and you shoud see your printer listed.. select it and click Install.
If no printers appears at all there is a connectivity issue.. ensure it is directly connected and not through any USB hub or adaptor, the cable is not longer than 2m length.. otherwise try a new USB cable.
If the printer appears but stil cannot locate drivers for yoru printer download and install the package below and then try adding the printer again:

On a Mac running v10.7.2, the only way to reinstall Safari is to reinstall OS X using OS X Recovery.
Safari 5.1.1 is for Snow Leopard. It will not run on a Mac with v10.7 installed.

Microsoft has all ready released an update to Windows Phone 8.1. Us Verizon customers don't even have WP 8.1. *** Verizon? My contract with Verizon is up in November this is the tipping point. I am not going to renew my contract. I will just buy the phone out right and sign up for Straight Talk. Then I don't need to have the "Nanny service provider (Verizon)" telling me when I am able to obtain a device update. Thanks for nothing Verizon.

On one side, I can understand that maybe (and that's a BIG maybe) Verizon wants to make sure they have enough data (pardon the pun) regarding the successful adaptation of the update for it's customers in order to make sure everything goes smoothly. However, I find that Verizon likes to keep customers in the dark regarding time frames. It's interesting to see on some of the similar titles message boards entries on this topic have Verizon monitors ready to wipe out entries if they violate terms of service on the forums. But, when asked directly about time frames for Windows updates, you either get a link to some Verizon news page (which is of no help), or nothing at all. A number of people called Verizon customer service and get varied answers like: "Sometime this summer", "Soon", or even an "I don't know, they don't even tell us either"...which is the answer I got one time. Very discouraging. I had a choice between the Windows Phone, or a Samsung Galaxy phone. I chose Windows because of it's features. Beginning to regret it now, since support for it on Verizon appears to be dismal at best.
