JDeveloper Win7 instalation

Hi experts
I installed JDeveloper 9i 9.0.3.5 build 1453 on Win7
I get errors on the JDeveloper look (UI) the plus gifs on the "System - Navigation" pane do not appear
It seems this JDeveloper version is not supported on Win7
Is there a JDeveloper version that is supported by Win7 and that supports oracle framework for oracle applications 11i ?

Pl see these MOS Docs

  • Win7 install dvd won't start on mac mini

I'm trying to install windows 7 on my mid 2007 mac mini (running snow leopard) in a bootcamp partition. I created the bootcamp partition (32GB) using bootcamp assistant (no problem there) and inserted the installation dvd, but once the mini reboots to start the installer I just get a black screen (symptoms very similar to those with the late 2006 iMac).
I tried using both the 64 and 32bit version but no difference there.
The win7 install DVD (bought, not downloaded) seems ok as installation as a virtual machine using vmware works.
I'ld really much prefer running windows in a bootcamp partition than through virtualization, so any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

If it won't start past the screen with the Apple logo in the center, there's something very badly wrong with your system. Try starting in safe mode (hold down the shift key at startup, starting when you hear the startup chime and letting go when you see the Apple logo). If it starts up fine then (keeping in mind it will take longer than normal to start up in this mode, so be patient), but the problem returns when you reboot normally, you have some incompatible third-party software installed. What that might be is hard to say.
If safe mode doesn't work either, your system is probably badly corrupt. Try reinstalling. Hold down command-R at startup to enter recovery mode. Once you do that, go to Disk Utility and repair the hard drive. If problems are nonexistent or fixed, quit Disk Utility and then reinstall the system. (This will simply replace the existing system files, and should leave all your other stuff alone.) If problems cannot be fixed, report back for more instructions.

  • How to get win7 installed on optibay HDD on macbook pro

    Hi all,
so I am in a bit of a pickle
I recently bought a new 15" MPB with an apple installed 128gb SSD drive.
My plan was to install a 2nd hard drive in the DVD spot, a 500gb with a 70ish GB win7 partition. I would like to use Win 7 for screencasting for windows tutorials and for Gaming...mostly for gaming
I thought, naively, that this would be a simple boot agent setup...boy was I wrong.
I have already installed the 500gb drive in the optibay, it is working fine
I did not realize that a macbook pro cannot boot to an external drive or dvd. I could be wrong here but all my research seems to indicate that it can't...using something like refit does not fix this problem
I tried going through the boot camp setup with my external dvd drive attached through USB...did not work
also tried a USB thumb drive...no dice
    sooo
any ideas on how to get a win7 install on my 2nd drive?
I'd like to avoid having win7 on my 128gb ssd as there is limited space
can I install win7 on the drive on an actual windows machine and then transfer it to the macbook?
could I install the win7 partition to my ssd boot drive and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the partition to the 500gb?
its actually kind of an interesting problem...but I'm stumped
    any and all help appreciated.

I'm sure someone else who knows about this will pitch in. Although my monitor is HP 23 inch  and has both VGA and HDMI and have no issues. I don't have the miniport to VGA connector so I can't test it out with the VGA. Sorry for my inconvenience.

  • Win7 install looking for CD ROM driver (after loading from CD) cannot find it so fails to install.

    Product: HP-IQ-775
OS? Gone!- Was WIndows Vista HP-SP2, but System Recovery wiped it out!
Error Msg: Current message that is stopping the installation of Windows 7 is "Missing CD/DVD ROM Driver- Please insert disk, or browse to location of driver" Browse accnot find driver needed (whatever it is... it is running form the bootable CD drive, so obviously it found something!)
Changes? Oh yeah, you bet!! I have had so many problems with this machine, I cannot list them all. After running the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, which reported only 2 issues, both software and both resolved, all OS upgrades installed, all drivers updated, ran the MS Malicious Software app, then attempoted an upgrade from Windows Vista- Home Premium, Service Pack 2. Long story short, after 3 days of 'installing Windows 7' on the screen, it failed. No explanation just "update failed, system will rollback to Vista". The rollback was uneventful, but sytem began having problems. Missing drivers, USB ports failed, CPU Fan Failure shut downs, blue screen after blue screen. I sent my system logs to an MCSE 'expert' and he reported " there are so many issues in the logs, that it would be a miracle if the machine ever ran again" He suggested Formatting the drive and instaling Win 7 clean. WIth far too much going on  with projects, I could not do this. Ultimately, Updates would not work, A/V software would not update, Vdeo software would not run. I contacted Microsoft, and after a week or so of email volleys, they escalated it to thieir 'expert', who after a few hours troubleshooting remotely, and multiple failed System Restores, said the only hope was a System Recovery.
After backing up everything today, I did the System Recovery from the Factory Image, the result was fatal! It went through the first half, erasing my operating sytem and associated files, drivers etc, it reported "Error found in Sytem Configuration, System Recvovery not completed", leaving me with an X drive, a C: drive tith nothing on it, and between the two, sho about 30GB of space total, on a 500GB drive!
I figured this would be the best time to do a 'clean install' of Windows 7, as I no longer had an OS to upgrade! I ran my Win7 Install disk, which ran fine, loaded its files, then reported "missing CD/DVD driver. PLease insert floppy, CD or flash drive, or browse to external drive with driver location"
Needless to say, I could find noting that it would accept. I even downloaded a driver from TSST (CD OEM) but the installer would not accept it from the flash drive. That is where I am now. No OS loaded, partitions screwed up, command prompt finds noting but X: (Recovery files?)29GB,  and C: what is left of it, it shows 9GB. Where is the rest of my disk? Who knows.
I have 5 external drives, full system backup on one, all data files on another, System Recovery Backup on another, but cannot access anything with no OS. I can only use the Win7 install boot disk to access the computer at all, and it has limited functionality.
I am writing from my HP-dv-9720 notebook, which has its own OS issues (still running on Vista basic as it will not install SPs), so it is available for email and driver downloads if necessary.
    Anyone want this challenge?
    Thanks
    Doug

WOW! 9 months later and not a sigle response. And now I am back! (Windows7 worked fine BTW!) Now I have the FAN FAILURE, yet the only thing that works on the computer, IS the FAN!! HP is ware of this problem but has done nothing except post a bunch of unrelatre (to IQ-775) stuff! A replacement fan (not that it is needed) is over $300, almost half of what I paid for the entire system!! BS! This is a latent defect and should be fixed by HP!
I currently have 3 HP computers, 5HP printers and an HP plotter! I have been a loyal HP customer fore over 20 years! IF they do not fix this, FREE, I will NEVER buy another HP product again! That is a promise! This is pure BS!  The machine will not boot due to a false "fan failure' report. both fans are running fine, and always have. The defect is in the reporting software or fan firmware, NOT the fan!
I will be back in 9 months to answer myself again!

  • Drivers to access trackpad functionality, camera,...in Win7 installed using Bootcamp?

I had win7 installed on my macbook pro via VMFusion and all worked great. I wanted full access to all of the RAM for my CADD applications and deleteed all that and reinstalled win7 via bootcamp.
Now the trackpad functionality, camera,....other items from the apple side do not work when using win7.
Where do I go to get the drivers or whatever I  need to get full functionality of all the hardware?

    OK,
I opened bootcamp assistant and chose to 'download the latest windows support software from apple' and then tried both options of 'burn to dvd' and save to ext. drive', but when I click continue I get the message, "Can't install Windows Support Software because you are not connected to the inteernet".
I am on the inteernet. I click on diagnostics and it says all is ok. I even plugged in via ethernet and that did not help. I have full access to the internet elsewhere...???
I check my bootcamp version...it is 4.0.1 (429), I think that is the latest version.
I had this problem when I first tried to install win7, but that was months ago, I can't remember how I got past it.

    I need some recomendations plz.

    Hello,
you don't need OS X install-disk, but I strongly recomend to burn a Win 7 disk. You may have some problems with installing it from a USB Flash :)

Downloaded Thinkvantage 4.0 system update after clean Win7 install on my T500 2081 CTO. New WIn7 installed, prior data wiped. Outlook (calendar and contacts) files empty.  Same lists however in the iPhone.  If I synch the iPhone and PC, what will happen? Will the iPhone data populate the  and, essentially, delete my last data resords? I know- prior to disc wipe, records entered either on PC or iPhone would cross copy to the iPhone or PC.  That was only 2 -4 records at a time.  We're talking >100 records at prresent.  Can I jut sync, and not worry amd find all contacts BOTH places?

  • Does run Mac OS X from external disk will damage Win7 installed at internal disk?

    Hi,
When I buy a Mac Mini Server 2011, I replace the Mac OS X Lion bootable disk with a SSD and install Win7 64, the other internal disk is also used by windows.
Now I need write some code in Mac OS using XCode, I assembling the Mac OS X Lion bootable disk with a USB disk shell and plug in Mac Mini's USB port, when I power on the machine and press the ALT key, the firmware show the Max OS disk, but I stoped.
I want to know if I boot into Mac OS, will it damage the Win7 disk? Can I apply OS patch or upgrade firmware?
    Thanks in advance!

Does run Mac OS X from external disk will damage Win7 installed at internal disk?
Of course not.  Why would it?

  • T500 Win7 install gone haywire!

    I did a Win7 32-bit Ultimate OS install from OEM disk on my T500 2081 CTO today (was advised to do this as being safer and less troublesome than Win7 upgrade)  - but all the information was just archived as a windows.old folder on the C: drive - some 30Gb - (not sure if Vista OS is there too, I didnt go through all the subfolders) and also the original hd partition is still there from the Lenovo factory Vista OS install;
SW_Preload C:, Lenovo Q: SERVICE003 S: partitions, the latter two still seem to contain what they had before the Win7 OS install.
I recognize some software on the Q: drive as certain preinstalled programmes, but most of it is gibberish to a neophyte like me. Have no clue what the S: drive is all about. I didnt reformat the HD before doing the Win7 install, I was informed Win7 would do that itself during the install.
Do I reformat to clean the HD and start over with the Win7 install? How do I that?
Next; Do I need to partition the HD during Win7 install to prepare for a reinstall of all the updated Win7 compatible Lenovo software? If so, how do I do that?
Is ThinkVantage 4.0 the first Lenovo-specific software to be installed after Win7?
Will TV 4.0 recognize and download all the additional Win7-compatible Lenovo-specific software I need for my model or do I need to do separate installs of all these afterwards?
    I need some help here....
    Thanks,
    Ole

Well, I'd think that a NEW MacBook wouldn't need a firmware update, but if it does...
check here for info about firmware updates: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303364
Also, make sure you run a Software Update (from the apple menu). If you're lucky any needed updates will come from that, but i DO remember installing firmware updates on my iMac and Macbook Pro that I had to download manually. If necessary, you can go here http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ and do a search for "macbook firmware".
Just make sure you download Macbook updates and not Macbook Pro updates.
The firmware update itself should tell you if you actually need it when you try to open it. For example, if I open up "iMac EFI Firmware Update 1.1" on my iMac, I get the message "Your computer's firmware is up-to date...."

  • Win7 install with multiple/all the FAILS! Satellite P750 (PART NO. PSAY3A-02T001)

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite P750 (PART NO. PSAY3A-02T001)
Installing: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64 bit)
Background: Laptop is around 2-3 years old now. Formatting and installing a fresh copy of Win7. Doing this for a close friend.
Issue #1: Using the "Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool" off the microsoft website, I attemped to install Win7 via USB drive (had so many issues before using this tool ). It boots to USB perfectly and starting going through the installation options. When it gets to "Where do you want to install Windows?"  (creating and seleting HDD partitions) I hit a major road-block!
p.s. USB in USB2.0 as I originally tried 3.0 and coudln't even make it that far....
I get the Error "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing systm partition. See the Setup log files for more information." Basically the Primary disk is created but the system disk wont.
p.s. The HDD still does show up and worked before this all. it's not a failed HDD.
I've tried (most of these were "Fixes" I found on forums that never worked):
    1. Creating different size partitions, multiple partitions, leaving GB's of "Unallocated Space" hoping it will create a system partition. Didn't work.....
    2. Formating the whole HDD using Command-line and wiping it completely clean. Honestly, this was stupid because now I cannot even go back! Didn't work.....
3.Changing BIOS settings and praying it will work. Most of the BIOS settings these fixes told me to change, aren't actaully on this Toshiba model. I even restart to default settings. Didn't work....
    4. Even tried a "load Drivers" fix I found. The fix asked for a SATA driver, but I got every driver just incase. Not a single driver even appeared on the "Select the driver to be installed" screen. Unticked the "hide drivers.." box also... So that didn't work either...
At this point I was pretty mad so I went and purcahsed some DVD-RW's to burn the ISO onto and try that instead.
Issue #2: Using the same tool as before, I installed Win7 onto a DVD. I then ran the DVD on my PC to test and the setup.exe showed up. I then put the DVD in the Toshiba laptop and using F12 to select "ODD        TSSTcorp CDDVDw TS-L633F" (the other options were "HDD/SSD, USB and LAN).
p.s. The DVD drive lights up and I can hear it reading the disc (normal slight humm).
    I then get:
    "Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 083)
    Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
This product is covered by one or more of the following patents:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
    PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and Press a key_"
To me, this is the LAN controller boot, but it didn't even read the disk.
I've tried (and again, most of these were "Fixes" I found on forums that never worked):
    1. Changing Boot priorities and settings. I even tried to disable LAN boot in BIOS (but you cannot on this model). Didn't work..
    2. Yelling at it and holding myself back from hitting it with a hammer. Still attempting..
    3. Praying to a higher power. Didn't work...
Ideas I have left that may work:
    1. Downloading and burning a different ISO. maybe even trying 32bit. (was 64bit before starting)
    2. Waiting for someone much smarter than me to reply on this post and help me!
    3. Telling my friend that "It's not my problem, while I run off into the sunset!"
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! This is doing my head in!
and yes, I've tried turning it off and on again

oh my **bleep**ing god...... I am so mad right now! 95% butthurt infact!
    MY RAGE IS STRONG!
Just found out off the owner that the DVD drive doesn't work..
SO! The DVD drive doesn't work and it seems like the only way to install Win7. I have a feeling that this model doesn't do USB very well....
will an external DVD drive work for this? or some I find someone with a toshiba that has the same model dvd drive inside and swap them for an hour while I do it...
or should I try LAN... havn't one LAN install in a home environment before..

  • I want to install windows7 on my 27in iMAC. I have an OEM version of Win7 which is win pro 7, 64 bit english.  I will use boot camp to partion the hard drive for a win7 install.  Can I use this version for the installation ??

My iMAC is a 2011 3.4 GHz intel i7 based with a 27in display.  A year ago, I bought a Microsoft win pro 7 64-bit english OEM OS to install over a newly assembled AMD PC.  I never installed it.  Now, I want to put it on my iMAC using either Apple Bootcamp or Parallels.  The win 7 OEM package has a lot of verbage about using an OEM preinstallation kit (OPK) and that it must be preinstalled on the hard drive.  Is it OK to install this win7 version following the Bootcamp instructions.?

Please post in the Boot Camp (not Bootcamp) forum I'm sure someone there can answer your quesiton if no one here is able to.

  • X201 USB becomes unresponsive during Win7 Install

    This is crazy!
    Here's the lowdown....
I recently purchased an X201 Laptop (Type 3680-FZ3 / Product ID 3680FZ3) and from the factory it had a 32 bit version of Win7 Pro. So, with my 8GB of ram installed, it would only address 2.93GB.
Sucky, but easily resolved, I want to install Win7 x64, something I have done HUNDREDS of times in my carrer as a Technician.
    The basics:
Removed OEM Intel 80gb SSD with win7 x86 installed
Brand new, blank intel SSD installed (240GB)
bios updated to the latest version available on Lenovo's site, v1.40 (6QET70WW), all values set to DEFAULT
Used Windows 7 USB tool to image a MICROSOFT PROVIDED ISO of windows 7 pro x64, tool created the USB successfully (16gb Supertalent Express Duo, formatted NTFS)
Plugged into "always on" USB port (yellow)
    The issue:
Turned on, Booted to USB, windows says "Loading Windows Files" and makes it through that
Then when the Windows 7 splash screen appears (Starting Windows) the system HANGS completely (caps Lock unresponsive, status light on USB shows idle status)
It hangs right before the colorful windows logo above "starting windows" can appear. Permanently, mynd y0u. Waiting 2+ hours did not help,
    Trobleshooting:
Tried installing to another SSD, Samsung EVO 128gb same result
Tried installing my ISO to another USB Stick, SanDisk Cruzer 4gb, same result
Tried burning image to a DVD, then booted using an external USB CDROM, same result
Tried another ISO: Windows 7 Ultimate x64, same result (Checksum of both images is VALID)
Reset bios to default settings *again*, same result
Tried every USB port the x201 has to offer, same result.
Disabled Intel AMT, any security settings, same result
Read through EVERY lenovo Forum post related to the X201, found NOBODY with this same issue.
Read every Google search result, what a treat that was, no solution found
    Going the extra mile:
you have the ability to boot the windows 7 install environment Verbosely using F8 during boot. All services/drivers load up.... UNTIL YOU GET TO DISK.SYS. after that, it hangs. Every possible combination of "troubleshooting" leads me here
    The realization:
I love this computer... or do I?
Day 3 of trying to figure this out... I think i'm going insane.
I swear I heard the laptop mocking my wife and then it tried persuading my children into taking candy from strangers. Please help...

    Hello,
The X201 is a four year old system, so I don't think it was new.  Here's how the 3680-FZ3 shipped as originally configured:
i5-540M(2.53GHz), 4GB RAM, 80GB Solid State Drive, 12.1in 1280x800 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, Intel 802.11agn wireless, WWAN option, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, Camera, 6c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 32
My initial thought is to check and see if the new Intel 240GB SSD has updated firmware and, if so, install and see if that makes any difference.  I would also suggest using a different brand of USB flash drive, just to rule out any possible incompatibility issues with the drive in question.
I seem to recall that some models of USB flash drive enumerate as mass storage devices (Base Class 0x08) but use atypical subclasses to show up as a HDD, etc., which can cause some problems with BIOS/UEFI firmware that expects the bootable USB device to be a removable storage container subtype (optical drive, typical USB flash drive, etc.).  I believe the Windows 7 Pro x64 files fit on a 4GB USB flash drive, althought not with much room to spare.
Failing that, you might just want to try burning the ISO to a DVD±R and using that to install.  If problems persist at that point, I'd suspect a corrupt .ISO image.

  • Issue in upgrading JDeveloper or installing extension  in it

    Hi,
Im currently havin Jdeveloper11g (11.1.1.3.0) .Could I know how to upgrade my JDeveloper 11g from version 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.1.3.37.56.60?
I need to add extension "spring & Weblogic SCA 11.1.1.3.37.56.60 " ,On help>check for updates> ,by selecting the appropriate extension and proceeding with this , at last it ask for restart JDeveloper.
After restart I couldn't find the spring library or spring components in Component palette in SOA Application .Can u please suggest me the procedure or link to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello,
If you click on Help --> About you will see the complete version of JDeveloper that you are using under the Version tab.
If the Spring extension installed properly, you can look under Tools --> Preferences --> Extensions.
    It will be listed as:
Oracle JDeveloper Spring, Weblogic SCA Integration
I'm not familiar with this extension itself, so I can't tell you if it's suppose to have components in the pallet or not not. The description says it provides the ability to create and edit Spring and Weblogic bean definitions.
I do see quite a few new Spring and Weblogic options in the New Gallery after installing the extension. Look under File --> New and make sure the All Technologies tab is selected. You will see entries under the General --> Deployment Descriptors and under Business Tier --> Spring.
Hope that helps you figure out if the extension installed properly.
