Jdeveloper11gR2 Cannot get code Completion Insight in *.jsp files
I am not getting code completion insight when pressing Ctrl + Space in *.jsp files. But it works in *.java files. My version of Jdeveloper is Jdeveloper 11g Release 2 version 11.1.2.2.0 .

I check doc[ID 335488.1], the problem is same as I.
and i do the steps in this document.
step1:
i check %JAVA_TOP%=C:\oracle\PROD\apps\apps_st\comn\java\classes,but there is not files loadjava.zip. so i copy it from C:\oracle\PROD\apps\apps_st\comn\java\lib; then i add the classpath on the setting of the environment variables in the system properties.
step2:
i check it has the lib.exe adst.lib fndst.lib and work correctly.
STEP3:
I don't know how can I do the following information:

Cannot get any sound when playing .avi files
Hi All
I am running QT version 6.5.3 on Mac OS X 10.2.8 and cannot get any sound when playing .avi files but the picture is perfect.
I have installed the following: M-Peg 2 playback component, AVI Components and AC3 component.
Does anyone know if I am missing anything or how I can fix this?

You should read this support page http://perian.org/#support in case you need to delete older codecs. In Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime/ delete any files relating to DivX (Perian already has them). However it should be noted that Perian is not an internet plugin and will not play DivX files imbedded on a website. For that you will need the DivX Player browser plugin available from http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/ -

Code completion(insight) not working in SQL Developer Version 2.1.1.64
I recently downloaded SQL developer Version 2.1.1.64. However the code completion feature is not working automatically. I have checked the Automatically complete code in SQL worsheet checkbox under Tools->Preferences-> Code Editor-> Completion Insight.
Strangely, I get the code completion pop up window when I explicitly press the completion insight shortcut(Ctrl + Space).
Please help.

Is it possible to select multiple columns via code insight pop up window.
For example if I have the following query

If I type a. completion insight will show me the columns for the table. I would like select more than one column at one time (like in TOAD)

How to get the complete path of the file that is selected using FormFile
i m working on struts..
i hv used FormFile like
<html:file property="xsdpath" value="Browse" />
need to get the whole path that i will select using browse button
for example d:\foldername\filename.java
but FormFile Api has a method getFileName(); which returns the filename, for getting the absolute path wat has to be done.

You would definitely benefit from further reading on
file upload.
<html:file> tag renders an HTML <input> element of
type file.
When a user uploads a file, this file is sent as a
stream of data, which a program (jsp/servlet) on the
server, reads and stores the data back in the form
of a file on the server.
Any server program that needs to parse the file,
should do so on the file stored on the server.
There's no point in knowing the absolute path of the
file on the client machine. If a server program can
parse a file on the client machine, why upload the
file in first case ? Get the drift ?

If you have such a requirement, then yes.
But it sounds weird to me. If you see my response
above, you will realize that the server has a copy of
the client's file uploaded and then parsed. What if
the client has changed his file after upload ?

Still cannot get code to display correctly when clicking on a link...
With jdeveloper 10.1.3.2 I used to be able to do right click/find usages/ and click on one of the usages and the cursor would be placed on the proper java class and line but now, when I click on the usage, it places me on the proper java class but the cursor is nowhere to be found. It no longer goes to the appropriate line.
Also I noticed debugging remotely does something similar, the correct java class is appearing in the window but the line where the cursor is is not displaying on the screen but instead I have to scroll up or down in the window to find out where the current line is thats executing.
I would appreciate any help possible with this issue.
I am running on windows xp sp2.
The line is highlighted but it isn't moved into the visible viewing area of the screen as it did with the previous version.
I tried double clicking and it works if you aren't referencing a different class than where you started from.
In other words, if I am in class abc, and i want to find usages for method def, and it lists multiple places, the screen will be correctly positioned for class abc, but for the other classes outside, the line may or may not be highlighted but the selected line isn't centered into view window as it should be and used to be with the previous version 10.3.1.2.
This also happens when debugging, or clicking on the structure window.
The correct line is no longer displayed even though the correct class is being displayed in the window.
Is there any setting I should be thinking about?

BradI have Windows 7 and I use Outlook as my e-mail handler and service from Century Link (Formerly Qwest). I have the latest update of Firefox and I set Firefox to be my default program for viewing .htm , .html, etc., etc. in Windows 7 but links in e-mails or e-mail web sites (Newsmax, Best Buy, Townhall, etc., etc.) still won't open with Firefox set as my default browser. Links only open with IE set as default browser. No solution to this problem yet.
With XP on my other two computers everything works fine with Firefox as default browser. -
In Firefox 24.0 -> Tools -> Options -> Applications, I cannot choose a program (hh.exe) to read .chm files. When I choose to open a *.chm file I have only the option of saving it, not to open it. Other browsers like Explorer, chrome, even old netscape 7.2 allow me to open it and the program finds I presume the hh.exe file and away you go. I cannot find a way to get Firefox (my favorite browser) to read chm files.

I cannot get my HDTV to read shared files from my iMac
I have just brought a HDTV live and am having trouble getting it to connect to my mic and read files. I am pretty sure I have all my file sharing settings ok. I read that there are issues with this system and mountain lion is that correct!
I really need some help as this is driving me nuts!!
ThanksI have it all connected to my wifi network and to the tv. But when I try and access my files on the Mac from the HDTV it says that it cannot connect to the files and to check that the files are shared.
Could this have something to do with Samba being removed on Mountain Lion? Do you know of a fix?

Get error when checking out jsp file from cvs when Jdev is running in linux
I have JDev 9.0.3 andd CVS running in linux with same build version.
When I check out a project one jsp does not show up in the IDE but shows in the file folder correcly when I edit it thru vi.

When you are starting service in OS, you are actually starting the maxdb instance service .
You can set it in auto mode so that you will not get this error. The OS service only establishes the connection to SAP.
As a part of CS install, from CSADMIN part it is just required to send the certificate successfully to OAC0.
Normally no activity is required to be done to under SICF from CS install point of view.

OK kids - here's the scoop. Not sure why but......it wasn't what DJ thought and I uninstalled and reinstalled ya da da....when I created a new user account on my mac - worked the way it always has. (and as an aside, this was pretty vexing because it worked perfectly on: iMac, other Macbook Air - all running same code.....same OS.....made me insane!

Cannot get fireFTP to recognize a changed file.....and execute!!!
I am using Dreamweaver CS5. I have changed the needed information and transferred the file from Dreamweaver back to our Website FTP file. I can't get the new file to execute. (I changed the "Featured Products" on our website home page)

Code completion problem in netbeans 5.0
Hi-
I just recently switched from using ConTEXT to using netbeans 5.0. However, I cannot seem to get code compeletion to work properly (the main reason I switched).
It doesn't work at all if I open a .java file on its own even though it's enabled.
However, if I copy and paste the code into a <new project> then code completion works.
Is there a way to get code completion to work without generating an entire new project? I just want a simple editor that has code completion. Is this possible with netbeans?

<Ctrl>space or <Ctrl>\ opens up the code completion window
and as an added bonus Alt+P pops up that ultra cool yellow window that tells you the formal parameters of the function as you enter arguments.
Me loves the netbeans. Still though I have to have it in a project for it to work so the question still stands...can you use this without creating a project as to use it in a glorified editor fashion?

Someone else has put a password on my phone. I have read all the restoring or backing up methods but when I go to do those it says to turn off find my iPhone in my setting. If I cant unlock my phone I obviously can't turn this off. Help
